Amazing selection of various types of wood!

I buy all of my hardwoods and other wood needs here for my online sign business. They have good variety and fair pricing. The guys there are helpful and make me feel welcome as one of their regulars. Dennis is one of their friendliest staff members although everyone is nice.

Paxton maintains an ample supply of maple, mahogany, cherry, oak, walnut, and other hardwoods including less common varieties such as padauk, tigerwood, purple heart, and teak, sold by the board-foot and unfinished on one edge. Lengths range from 8 to 12 or longer, so you will need an appropriate vehicle. A wonderful store for woodworkers.

Ive been using Paxton as my only hardwood (and most soft wood) supplier. The prices are fantastic, especially considering youre not ordering online sight unseen.Sure, you might find SOME place that offers this species or that at lower prices, but youre usually ordering it where that species is far more abundant.Staff has always been friendly and most, if not all, are woodworkers themselves. So they understand when people like me are picking through boards.Everything except the Beetle Kill Pine is kiln dried, at least the last time I asked (late 2019). And they offer deals of the month all the time, which usually result in some amazing pieces at SUPER low cost.
