Really loved seeing all of the homes. Hudson is my favorite but many of the others are also great. The on site decorator does an amazing job and the homes show better in person than they do online. Prices seem decent.

Austin was great, always keeping us up to date and pushing everything on there end to make the process go faster. He even called after living a week of living in the new home to ask how things are going. Best service, and Austin always was so positive about everything making the process easy on us. Couldn’t have asked for anything else! Highly recommend buying a new home from here! Ask for Austin he’s the best!

They give you a key to the homes, you get all the time you need. The homes are clean and well furnished and the prices are listed on the fridge. Once youre done looking theres no hounding or hassle. If you want to know more, they will explain everything you need to know. If youre not interested at that time or ever, you can leave with no hassle. Theyre very nice, professional, honest and straight to the point. They also have some light refreshments.

The staff and management have gone above and beyond to help us achieve our goals. They have exceeded our expectations in every way. Many thanks to Phillip, Julie and Gus. We are honored to do business with Clayton Homes. First we met with Phillip. He told us of our options with no pressure. After shopping around we went back to Clayton Homes and met Gus. He was professional, knowledgeable, polite, attentive and patient, as we had many questions. He had all the answers. He is the reason we chose Clayton Homes. He was always available when we called or got back to us in a timely manner. They were willing to accommodate all of our needs when no one else was. Phillip was honest, straight forward and forthcoming, never beating around the bush or wasting our time. Julie took time out of her busy schedule to listen to all of our special needs and did everything in her power to expedite the process. Together they overcame great obstacles to accommodate us. We could not be more grateful for all they have done.

Horrendous customer service!! Bought a home from Clayton over the summer and was put through the ringer! They did nothing but lie about the progress of our house, blame anyone and everyone under the sun for their mistakes, offer services and incentives that are not honored. If you have a question, dont even think about asking or youll get attitude especially from their front desk person. Tried to file a complaint so Clayton could apologize for the stuff they put my family through but no, even an apology is an impossible task for this ridiculous company.

This was the most unprofessional experience of my entire adult life! After discussing the details of my projected project, Clayton homes stated that the only way that they would be able to move forward was if they obtained a $1000 deposit. I found this to be understandable ... However after 0 correspondence and 3 weeks passed, 0 work had been done on my project. I would not recommend this company or these people to anyone!

A 2 year summary.Clayton homes, where do I begin?Financing process was generally simple enough if you have good to great credit. The staff we started off with quit in the middle of our purchase so the GM had to step in. Even offered one of their lot homes on site to buy for a little less because they were upgrading. So yeah, we took it. I mean who doesnt like to save a little money. When it came time to sign the documentation the man they used to verify all documentation was impatient and pushy. It was not professional.Skipping forward a few months. The estimates on instilling the home were all over the place. We would call and one person would give a different day then the next week it was changed. You can imagine how incredibly frustrating it was to try to plan to stop a lease and move all of out furnishings when you dont get the courtesy of a 3min voicemail update. Anyone who is up to date on any management styles knows thats a generic courtesy call to make.Skipping a few more months ahead...We kept getting push back on the install update so my wife and I had to pay month to month at the apartment complex we were moving from. Of course you can imagine how expensive that can get which really messed up our budget.Skipping 2 years...Cone to find out the pluming that Clayton provided is HUD cider they dont have to go buy the state code you live in... so what does this mean for Colorado buyers? This means you should get a shut off valve at each toilet... what you wont get are any shut off valves on your water heater, no outside pressure valve control, and no shut off valves under your sinks. So if you have a leak well... all they are going to say is something we get sorry. Which literally doesnt fix anything and means nothing because Clayton lacks ownership for their work.Check your water heaters, if its what professional plumbers call a low boy (which is what clayton installed on our home) then its made for an apartment apparently. We had to file 2 major warranties in a week(with a lot of pushback.) Our water heater blew out and because clayton installed the wrong AMP breaker for the allotted watts for the water heater..the breaker box also had to be corrected. So I had an electric company come change the breaker (which they had to cut up the sheetrock to do) and a plummer to come replace the water heater. After all of that come to find out Claytons warranty doesnt cover bad plumbing. The plumber showed us that Claytons installers tapped into the water heater line. What does that mean? It means that if and when your water heater has an issue and you have shut off valves on your water heater to prevent possible flooding if the run off isnt installed right...that your showers will also be shut off. But, bad pluming jobs are not covered so you as the customer just have to live with it or pay for it yourself. Which is around $5,000 for an1,200 sqft home...just in case your wondering. Tapping off of the water heater also creates bad flow to your sinks and uneven pressure when you flush a toilet or turn on a dishwater...for example. In the end... Clayton will show or give follow up messages for example.... we /Im sorry to hear about your experience and thank you for your feedback.  Ide like to know more about what happened and what was communicated. Could you please call me... This is just telling people ( sorry we got caught.) Because of course you call and they listen to your grievance and nothing is actually fixed. This is an artform for Clayton and solves nothing. But they stick to it Im sure because the sales staff is stressed and corporate more than likely provides no real power or solutions. All in all this is the classic pushing a product onto buyers and sweeping it under the rug. I just wanted to stop in and let you all know so you can have a professional look at the installed plumbing, waterheater, electrical and oh yeah...uneven distribution of your HVAC system. One final word, your home probably will not come with indoor wall insulation so this means you can hear

Ive been entertaining the idea of buying undeveloped land in southwestern Colorado and putting a small manufactured home on the property. It is my dream to achieve this and retire there. I visited the Clayton Homes location on 61st and Federal in Denver and brought a friend with me. I explained to the salesman that I was ONLY LOOKING. It was about 40 minutes before closing. After filling out one page of paperwork, he smiled and handed me a key. It was the master key to the doors of the MH models on the lot. Cant think of a time when I had more fun looking at anything than this! My friend enjoyed it as well. I would recommend this place to anyone in the Denver area looking to purchase a new manufactured home.

Had a great visit with Julie. Looked at all the models and took the application with us. We made it clear we had a realtor (a family member - our aunt who is sweet as can be) and were assured they could work with her. A few days later (today) went back and discussed the same details with Phillip Dickson who was a little hot and cold. But after a second look we proceeded to a piece of property weve been eyeing and decided to pull the trigger! Called our aunt and asked her to reach out to Phillip at Clayton and get the ball rolling. He rudely told her he wouldnt work with her and got into some spiel about whos dime she was on, this isnt how it works, etc. This after we had TWO conversations at the location stating our intent. Anyway, long story short were on to North Star or another Clayton location since Phillip basically chased us away and told our realtor he isnt interested in working with us. What a great sales tactic...blow up a sale! I have a lot of people (friends, family, coworkers) asking how this process is going. In this market many are interested in the money saved going this route. I have a great recommendation on where not to go. Too bad Julie isnt in charge. Clearly shes the one aware of what customer service is. The 2 stars are entirely hers.

This was the worst experience I have ever had. We dealt with Alex and he was the most unprofessional person. He disregarded everything we said we wanted and showed us the smallest house. Would highly recommend Pinetop homes down the street instead!!

Went to go look at some of the homes at this property on Sunday and the business was closed but the gate was wide open so we went to and was just looking at the homes and just looking through the windows to see if they looked like they do online when a women came on the property and told us that we need to leave the property immediantly because she didnt want us trying to walk in the houses, we told her we was just looking through the windows and she said she dont care we have to leave! So instead of being nice and taking a couple minutes to tell us about the houses she was just extremely rude and lost my business and Ill go somewhere else to look for a home!

DONT DO IT. Thats the best advice I can give after dealing with these people. Dangerous Ignorance is the term Id best fit to how these people (with the exception of the lady that works in the office, the only dealings I had with her were initially and she seemed nice). We started the process to buy a modular home and land package with them. Everything seemed great, they purchased the land, did the upgrades it needed (septic, well, etc), and sold it to us once everything was on the property and ready to be lived in. What we didnt anticipate was that every step of the way the two people we were dealing with, Phillip and Alex, would refuse to communicate in a way that intelligent people require, as well as never know the answer to a question you were asking. It would take days to a week to get simple answers out of them. They would leave out huge details and expect that either we would ask, or that when they surprised us with them, wed be ok. There are all these hidden charges entailed in these homes that you wouldnt expect, and of course they wouldnt tell you unless you asked. Trying to communicate with them was a lost cause, as they dont ever check their email, dont call you back, and expect you to drive down to their office every time you want to make a change or ask a question. So once you get there, theyre never prepared, and dont ever have the changes/quotes that you asked for via email (thinking that youd get ahead of the game and email your request to them so they could prepare for the meeting...not happening). Theyd tag team your case, but when you ask Phillip something, hed delegate to Alex, but not update him on whats going on, updated quotes, etc. So when Alex emails you, its like starting from the beginning. SO FRUSTRATING. I never heard an Im sorry were so disorganized from anyone. They just blamed each other and passed the buck. All I can say is, goto Fort Collins or Colorado Springs if youre looking for a modular home, their service cant be worse than Clayton Homes of Denver.

I found all the people at Clayton homes most helpful and professional. I bought a new home less than a year ago. I had some trouble with the water heater as the pilot kept going out. They were more than dedicated to solve the problem. It took a couple of times to trouble shoot and find what the problem was but they kept after it until it was fixed. I have been very happy with the service I have received. I gave four stars bit I really should put five. When I speak of my house and experience with Clayton homes I only have good things to say.

Review readers i ask you to please take the time to read all of this review. Look how they only have 3 stars average. There is a simple reason for that. They simply put out a garbage product and then do not care once they have obtained your money or financing. They will finance you through their own mortage company called Vanderbilt. They have to because not many companys will put money up for the trash product they are selling. My wife and i purchased a Clayton home that was to be ready the beginning of March. They were 10 weeks late delivering us a home to move into 10 WEEKS!! And then the nightmare really began Faulty wiring, bad plumbing, creaking floors, drywall needing repairs, broken appliances, the cheapest carpet you have ever seen, fake tile in bathtubs. These peiple even put the screen door on backwards. There is honestly so much more . And oh yea plastic faucets in the sinks. PLASTIC! They have yet to fix a single thing. This was called a brand new home. Every person we delt with in the Clayton Homes of Denver office has misled or outright lied to us including the manager Phil Dickson. They just dont care. Rarely a returned phone call or email and when we could reach them its just more lies and deceit Not a single one of them will stand accountable for thier actions. These people prey on hard working folks who more than likley can not get financing on a traditional house. Is that you reader? I encourage you to keep working on your credit, income or down payment whatever is holding you back. This is not a good thing or a good company to do busineas with. Please read all thes reviews and save your family from what mine has endured. Please do not be fooled by their BBB rating of A plus. Ask yourself why an A plus BBB rating but a bunch of horrible google reviews? Its simple. Please research the BBB. I mean really dig into it. You see so long as they greese the wheels of BBB in the form of accreditation dues and fees they keep a good rating. Sure the BBB goes through the motions but never made them do anything to solve our problems. And guess what? They still have an A plus rating. Please PLEASE do NOT do any buisness with Clayton Homesof Denver! They honestly do not deserve the one star i had to rate them to leave a review. When you see us along federal blvd practicing our first amendment right against this company feel free to approach.

Worst customer service. 0 progress after first visit. Wont do anything on the phone, have to drive in to plan. You have to push for information and progress. Pulled my credit through their preferred lenders but never heard back as far as a credit score, ect...which is illegal. Stay away from this place, far away. I know I can afford a modular home, seeing how I am closing on a house in a couple weeks. Way to go guys, lost a customer. And by the reviews, seems like its not the first time.
