Let me just get straight to the point of this review....Alex is a mechanical wizard and he will make your motocycle dreams come true, as he did for me.My names Kurt and Im a lifelong military history enthusiast. I love military vehicles in particular and I had always admired the old sidecar rigs from WW2. One day when I was checking out some for sale ads, I found an old Chinese bike (CJ 750) being sold in Pennysylvania. The CJ is an amost exact copy of a 1940 German BMW R71. I had to have it, so I bought a trailer and headed East. Driving the round trip across country turned out to be the easy part. The hard part was getting someone to take on the job. I found one mechanic, but he wasnt very motivated and even told me (after having my bike for over 6 months) that he was thinking about thinking about working on my bike. 100% true story. The one great thing he did for me was giving me Alexs info.Alex took on the job right away, did work that other mechanics scoffed at and did that work perfectly. His skill of working on a motorcycle engine is surpassed only by his professionalism.The bike and sidecar are my absolute pride and joy. Its more fun than I ever thought possible and no way that happens without Alex and AK Cycles.Ill never forget it.Thank you, buddy!

My antique 1984 Honda C 70 had not been used for 5 years. AK took it in and restored it to better than new. They were wonderful to explain how to care for it if you don’t use it often. Price was just, fair and very reasonable. Rarely do you run into such nice, competent people. If you go somewhere else you went the wrong way.

Alex is the best!!! Knowledgeable, friendly and timely in getting repairs done. He is one of the few people that can and will work on anything. This is the only shop I’ll bring my bike to in Denver.

I’ve had Alex do a good amount of work on two different Harley’s, one chopped out and one closer to stock. He always gets them running right and walks me through the process and teaches me a thing or two. Highly recommended!

Alex was able to get my Honda CRF250R up and running after a couple months of frustration with my bike. Its running like a dream now! I love this shop because he will work on my dirt bike and my Harley. Awesome shop with a super knowledgeable owner, highly recommend!

We had the shop take a look at a non-running S40 for my girlfriend. Needed a top-end rebuild and repairs to a stripped bolt hole in the case. AK took great care of the bike and had it running for us quickly. Would recommend and will continue to take our bikes to AK Cycles.
