I’m so glad that there is a huge Dillion’s in Derby! They have a great selection on flowers and foreign food ingredients! The salad bar is good and has a ton of veggies and salads. The seafood is so good especially the salmon and tilapia! The best thing about it is they serve sushi and it is good! It’s always fresh and well made. The store itself is very clean, well stocked and very well staffed!

We have never been in a more poorly arranged store. “Salty snacks” doesn’t include chips or nuts. Huh? Juice boxes are not located in the juice aisle. Holiday cereal displays are in frozen food section….not in the cereal aisle. The milk is clear in the back next to the cleaning supplies. Things are placed haphazardly and it’s impossible to find things. I actually take pictures and document some of our unbelievable finds. Most employees seem really unhappy and seem almost reluctant to help. We just asked someone where to find an item and he pretended to ignore us initially. When we finally got his attention he said “I think it might be over there…(pointing).” He didn’t wait to see if it was there or accompany us. I handed a milk that was opened and dripping everywhere to another employee who was stocking shelves and she seemed irritated - absolutely no response. Deli folks are always nice - the only consistently positive part of the shopping experience. Managers really need to do some training on customer service, and store arrangement. We are always disappointed when we leave the store - especially after shopping at Trader Joe’s where they seem really interested in their shoppers.

I just want to say how absolutely amazing the bakery did on the cake and cupcakes I ordered! There was a mix-up at a different Dillons and the Dillons in Derby came through last minute. Without there help my sisters baby shower would be ruined, such a fantastic job and customer service!

I placed my online order at 11am. I came to pick it up at 5:30pm. The app said my order is ready. I waited for 1.5 hours and then was told my order is not ready. A bunch of incompetent clowns work here!

The new self checkout lanes are garbage. It takes forever to check out and it kept making an attendant come help us for no reason. Why did you get rid of scan bag go? It was so much more convenient than the new terrible lanes.

People complaining are just idiots. Shopping isnt difficult.

The people that shop for click list customers need to remember they are still employees when shopping for customers and REMEMBER THEIR MANNERS . All of them seem oblivious to the fact that customers are shopping also. They block the enter aisle LITERALLY and never appear to notice others need passed them. They never use courtesy words, please, excuse me, etc. I had one even push in front of me to get to a cooler. They really need training BADLY . this girl literally had cart sideways in aisle. I waited 2 min before I took picture and she still never said excuse me or anything to me or the others that made it to her before she ever bothered looking up . Acted like we were in her way. SMH.

Great staff great selection

We had a special request birthday cake for our 4 year old granddaughter and both Crystals in the bakery did an outstanding job - the cake was a huge success. The cake design was a swimming pool and the ladies did a fantastic job - their creativity was incredible. We will always order from this bakery in the future. By the way, the cake was really delicious too! Thank you to both Crystals in the bakery!!!!

Buyer beware of ads. You MUST read margins. Ad gives a value but if you dont read even the margins, you dont get the price. Buyer beware...

IThis was the 1st time in a long time I was even asked if I wanted help out. TYLER was amazing. He bagged my groceries perfectly and then said he would help me out. I worked Dillons for 25 years and this is only the 3rd time I was even asked to help me out. When I shop at the Big Dillons I always have a big order. You should have Tyler show your carryouts how it should be done! He may be special needs but he is smarter than most of your carryouts!! Thank you Tyler for your awesome work

They’ve changed the store up and a lot is good. But lot at lot of items that they had for all Kroger brand stuff that’s not as good.Have hired a lot of new people to sack groceries.When I spend $300 plus every week I want someone to sack that will not smash the eggs and bread and put 10 Lbs in each sack. Most are ripped as they go back into the cart.Get better sacks!!!!!

Dillons (note the correct spelling) has everything you could ever need or want. The fresh fruits and veggies are the best, and the meat department has high-quality cuts of meat. The folks who work there are very friendly and helpful. The only downside to me is all the Kroger Brand items. Some of them are not as good as name brands.

Derby Dillons Floral department prepared all of the floral items for my wedding day and they did an absolutely fabulous job. Bethany was absolutely amazing, positive, and helpful. It may sound odd to have a grocery store handle your floral, but believe me, they completely wowed me, my husband, and all of my guests. If I ever have another event that requires floral, I will certainly use them. They delivered to Wichita on the morning of my wedding and Bethany was there to see it through! I would recommend anyone getting married to go to Derby Dillons for their big day.

The management there is not that great. They bully there employees about asking days off. They pry into their personal life and deem whether if the reason is a reasonable excuse. Its is not professional and caty.This comes from multiple sources.

Called in once I got to grocery pickup, after spelling and saying my last name, the rude lady (Janene)told me my order wasnt ready and wouldnt be until 5. I told her 3 times its supposed to be 3-4. She refused to listen to me and when I asked for a manager she said hes just going to tell me the same thing. After getting off the phone I confirmed through the text they sent me that our time was 3-4. I called back and told her and she asked again for my name and I told her and spelled it. She said she was entering the wrong name earlier. I have now been sitting here for 15 minutes waiting on my order to come out. I called again to inform her multiple care that came after me got their order already and she said mine hadnt made it back yet. They need someone else answering phones because she has horrible customer service.

Im sitting at pickup one person is tending to the cars I called 30 minutes ago and am still waiting patiently this worker is moving his feet as fast as he can I feel awful for his work conditions Im very disappointed 1 worker for a 3-4 pm pick up I hope Dillions steps up !!

Best experience at a grocery store, every time. Excellent customer service, above and beyond anything you see anywhere. I am impressed every single time. Always people stocking, cleaning, ready to help, and they go out of their way to help out and smile while doing it. Professional and kind individuals here. Good products too. The Olive Bar and Salad bar seem to have fresher/better quality than other locations.

Very nice, clean store. I would love to see some more of the SUGAR FREE bakery goods like the Wichita stores have. Hill and Valley has an amazing selection of sugar free cookies, cupcakes and muffins. Please look into providing those for your diabetic customers., I currently have to make a special trip to Walmart just to get those items. Thank you.

Hard to find help if lost

I was at Dillons Market place today and there was an employee in the bakery that was coughing and did not look physically well at all. After speaking to my fiancee that works there she said that the employee told everyone that she wasnt feeling well and the other employees went and told the management and they did nothing about it. I dont think in the time of the covid pandemic its a smart business move to keep employees in the work place that are not feeling well especially when they are handling you and your families food. I am kind of appauled about finding out about this. Same on you Dillons.

I know all about Dillions! Why!?! I work there! Lol! Nonetheless, I have free press. Why!?! Because, one of my positions is being a: Stores Critic. I go to the various stores, to grade and report without reprisal; having done so for awhile now. This store is a good store because this is where you will get the best of everything due to where one must be/remain on their PS &Qs! Theyre all watched and graded with close scrutiny. I recommend this place!!!!

Was not pleased today with the help in the hot food area. Had to wait awhile to be waited on because no one was there, and when someone showed up he has an attitude. But other than that Dillions is great.

I highly recommend this store. Not just because its clean, & has a large selection of gluten free items. But because of what I seen today. Today I had a young man who had some physical disabilities bagging my groceries. His co workers came up to him told him how nice it was working with such a hard worker & kept encouraging him. Its so refreshing seeing nice people being nice! Thank you Dillions for hiring caring individuals.

Always a good selection and plenty of it. I have yet to be looking for something the grocery side doesnt have. The bacon wrapped stuffed peppers are awesome! They always have rotisserie chickens ready to go each evening and the hot foods dept can take the load off for dinner.

I love shopping at Dillons, I have no issues with the company, but this location is frustrating sometimes. I do my weekly shopping on Wednesday or Thursday, which I know is the beginning of the ad, but their prices are never what they say on the tags. Their scanning department needs help or a better manager. When you’re trying to count items for their $5 off if you buy 5 sales & half are from last week with the tags still up, it’s beyond frustrating at check out. They only ever have 2-3 registers open so it’s rushed & impossible to say which items were supposed to be cheaper.

Great place to shop, groceries of course, plus clothing, toys, books, floral, and ready to eat food. Clean and neat.

Loved, loved their salad bar. But today we went to eat lunch there; walked right out after seeing theyd remodeled it, doing away with most of the delicious variety they had formerly. Darn!

I love shopping here, they have a good selection of food and they are friendly. I am not a fan of the constant rearranging of the store, every couple of months they completely rearrange everything forcing you to walk up and down isles looking for things you knew exactly where to find a week ago.Update: Dillons is no longer open 24 hours. Now closes at 1am on Saturday and Sunday. As a night shift worker, this is my shopping time. Taking my business elsewhere.

Dillons is a very nice clean store to shop at. There is actually people to help you if you have any questions. They have very upscale things at affordable prices. They put their things on sale often.

Derby Simmons Market Place is spacious, clean with beautiful fruits and vegetables. Large variety of meats and dry goods. Easy to shop for gifts with jewelry, clothing and housewares. Cell phones, money orders, bakery and an inviting fireplace in a dining area makes this my Dilons and my go to store.

Chinese food horror...Im not even really that picky so for me to say its bad its got to be pretty bad. Everything was cold and tasted stale. The sweet and sour sauce was congealed. There was a poor lady who could barely walk and in obvious discomfort and no-one would come help her. My kids and I ate there. It was an all around horrible experience. Wont be back

I have never in my life received such horrendous service in my life. I have used your online pickup service for a couple years now as my twins are infants and it’s impossible to grocery shop with both. Friday I went to grab my order and to my surprise I was missing 90% of it when I got home. Called and was told it would be ready in 2 hours. 2 hours later I call to be told it had not been filled and that the woman would personally take care of it and it would be ready in 20 minutes. Pull into the stall 30 minutes later to be told they would not fulfill my order. They were too busy (mind you in the 39 minutes of me waiting, there was not one car picking up groceries). Issued me a refund and told me they hoped this would not hinder me using their services again. I can guarantee you Kroger, you will never receive a dime from me again. Such a disappointment in your lack of promises.

I would normally give them a 5 star plus but, due to their remodeling. A shopping trip that is usually done in under a hour took just over 2 hours. My grocery list was missing quite a few items. I am sure once they complete the remodeling process it will be easier to find

The young lady at customer service was exceptional. She got my Dillons Acct. Fixed so I could use the digital coupons. Have tried for a very long time. She also showed me other features. She made my day, week and month. Thank you Dillons for a special employee

Dillons is a friendly and clean atmosphere. Always a variety of products. Fresh produces. Fuel incentive program is great. Weekly specials are money savers

Always clean. Lots of selections. Decent prices but not quite as low as Walmart. This Dillons closes at 1:00am now

Each re-arrangement has made the layout even more incomprehensible. Half the items I need are not where they belong.Now they have replaced many of the checkout lanes with self-checkouts (and invariably have only a 2-3 lanes open anyway, leading to long lines in those lanes that remain). Self-checkouts are fine for 4 items, but not 50, especially when they malfunction every third item.

Great meat and seafood counters. Its a little pricey on staples you can get from Walmart for cheaper. But produce and fresh items are way better here.

This place feels like home. Even though I dont personally know anyone, they feel like family compared to walking through a WalMart. The prices are great. The produce, deli, and bakery sections have wide selections. Even the clothing selection is great!

Was able to find my way through the store. Nice and clean every area I visited. Had everything I needed today. Very nice and courteous employees.

I love Dillons. They have a great variety of food items. Their prices have gone down and are comparable to Walmart. I like the environment as well, very family friendly. I have switched back to Dillons from Walmart because the prices have gone down significantly. Highly recommend a Dillons plus card which is free to take advantage of their discount.

What a fantastic grocery store. I can hardly stand going anywhere else. Always clean, staff is always friendly. This place is a real asset to the Derby community.

Pretty happy with this place. Have everything we need and usually no long lines. Especially like that they will cook your steak or fish for you to pickup.

The only reason I didnt give this Dillons 5 stars is bc its lacking a Starbucks; otherwise, its got everything you could want, beautifully packaged & many things reasonably priced. Everything seems fresh, samples (when available) are delicious, people are pretty friendly & helpful, the store is clean and lines move swiftly. Its got everything from clothing and furniture to a sushi and soup bar.

It would feel a little more folkesy if it was Bob Dylans.

Ill give them 3 based on variety of selection. The employees and customer service would get 0 stars. Its layout is confusing and disorderly and the employees are not adequately trained. I prefer the little dillons in Derby based soley on the great employees.

Love this Dillons! They have so much variety of items, friendly and helpful employees, and great prices! I absolutely prefer this Dillons to any other store, and this company over any other grocery store, including Walmart.

Sacker was very patient with filling my reusable canvas bags per my instructions. Not too heavy and like things together. Raining cats and dogs but, I didnt have to stand at car resacking. Very pleasant experience.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Ladies in the floral department are super friendly and helpful even as they are so busy for Valentines day.

This location better than most Dillons. Its got a more clean sense to it and a more up kept produce area. Everything is what you would normally see at a Dillons

Very disappointed in the wait on prescription fill. Came in in the morning about 9:40 and nobody was personally waiting for a fill. I was told Id have to wait 45 minutes. I feel like with no one waiting for their prescription it should have been prioritized better. Not a 45 minutes wait when your not busy and when I went to pick it up after the 45 plus minute wait I still had to wait for them to mix the medicine. I know its a busy time with all the sickness. I put that into consideration but when no one is waiting in person or at the window, I should not have to wait that long for a prescription fill. I do not live in town so it was a major inconvenience.

This is a Super Dillons it has clothes and pretty much any sort of food item you can think of.

Best grocery store in town. Big selection, helpful people, and good products. Hot food and seating available also.

They dont have anything I need anymore. Stopped carrying too many things. Including hot soup. Will go to Walmart from now on

Dillons has the best produce in town. Some items can be a little higher than competitors but the store still has sackers willing to take groceries out and place them in the car. Quality & service sometimes is worth a little bit more.

They need to get more help in the meat department on Saturday evenings. This poor lady behind the counter is swamped and getting berated by some grumpy jerk. Shes back there cooking and taking orders. Ive been waiting 10 minutes now, havent been waited on. Walmart is on my home and Ill go there if Im going to buy frozen. Its cheaper.

Clicklist is becoming more of an inconvenience. Anywhere from 3-5 substitutions each time and they get in such a hurry that they are missing items on our order. Not to mention the last two times we’ve had to come back an hour after our original pick up time because our order isn’t filled yet.

I love this place! Also love how they employee special needs. I will support just for that reason alone.

Store was clean customers and staff seem to always be in a good mood. They have free healthy snacks for the kids over in produce. Big plus when trying to shop with a curious toddler.

I like that I can find things that arent normally in Kansas. The sushi is good. Nice variety.

All my grocery needs can be filled here and the discount bargains are always worth checking out. More expensive than Aldis, but you know youre getting good product.

I am forever grateful to the customer service rep (Marissa) at the Dillons in Derby. I had left my phone in the shopping cart and when I went back within 5 mins to recover...I walked in the store and asked the lady at the doors if someone had turned in my cell phone she immediately looked in the carts and took me to Customer Service. Marissa asked if I had a locator on my phone, I said yes and she got on her cell phone let me sign in to my goggle app and we discovered my phone was still in the store. She let me borrow her phone and walk around the store and call my cell phone. A customer had it still in cart and answered it. I walked to customer and got my phone. If it had not been for Marissa and her quick and courteous help I may have not found my phone so quickly. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE MARISSA! I cannot think you enough!❤️

This is a really cool store. We have nothing like this in Cleveland, Ohio, except for the boring Walmart supercenters. The clothing prices seemed a little high, but the food prices were very reasonable. Wed shop here regularly if we lived nearby.

I go out of my way to shop here. Friendly staff. Clean. Well-organized. Well stocked.
