I ask Somali women, African Americans and all people of color to boycott this business. Look at the other reviews and see how many people complain about being followed and profiled by the owners of the shop! Most of they’re business comes from us, and they treat us like shit… please take your business else where

The employee (young lady with gray/ lavender hair) was super helpful. I knew what I wanted and she grabbed it for me quickly. Very helpful since Im walking with a walker and some of the aisles in the store are small. I was in and out in 10 minutes! Great service!

I see quite a few people stating they were followed around, that was not my experience. I have experienced that in other stores and when I see it. I start asking the person following about styles, procedures, products and cost. They usually walk away after that. The two young ladies were friendly and knowledgeable.

It’s disgusting and disappointing to walk in a store where you genuinely want to spend money at and be constantly watched just because the employees assume that you’ll steal something. My friend wanted to buy some stuff a couple hours ago and was watched non stop, and even had the cops called on her, AFTER they checked the security tapes and saw nothing. Racial profiling needs to stop at this store. AND Clearly there are many others who have been subjected to this type of Incident so the employee need to do something about it. WORST store ever. I don’t want to speak for her but this is absolutely one of the most uncomfortable situation a black person could go through. Never have or will ever go to this store!!

I just love the flower head bands and scarfs. Great deals and nice employees and they have so much to look at me and my wife always wonder around looking for the unique goodies and were never disappointed.

It’s really sad how most of your business comes from African American people and the moment that we walk through the door we are literally are STALKED non- stop, they automatically assume that because you are African American you can’t afford to shop in their store so the only reason you could possibly be there would be to steal. I will NEVER be back here again and if you respect the money that you work hard for. I’d be wise about who I give it to. These people can’t stand our kind. Most uncomfortable experience of my life. Will NEVER spend my money there or suggest it to anyone. We came in there willing to drop 200$ and ended up leaving because I was non stop watched, my friend was followed around the store by both a man and woman that worked there. Very much a racist environment. These people need to learn how to be decent human beings.

This is the only supply store I would never shop at. I have been going here for years with my family but finally noticed how horrible it is. The Asian people that work here follow you around every single corner. It doesn’t matter who works. They did hire an African American woman recently but it’s not enough to get me or my family back. Put your money in your own community.

The selection of products is good but I’ve never felt so uncomfortable shopping. The staff follows you around the store like everyone that enters is going to steal. They literally followed me down every Aisle, staring and watching. I will never shop there again.

Terrible I really wish google would let you give negative stars, bought hair here yesterday (never opened or touched) wanted to exchange for a more expensive wig. Would not exchange, with receipt. The Beauty Supply I normally go to gives frequent customer discounts and also lets you exchange in used items. 84th Street in Tacoma, best please ever. Only came here cause it was never me at the time. Will absolutely never come here and spend my money again.

If you are black do not go to this store. They follow you around the entire store and try everything to make your experience terrible. A friend got the cops called on her after they accused her of stealing. They even checked the cameras but of course they never found anything. Shut this place down, its 2020 profiling should not be happening especially in a black hair store.

This is not a place where you want to spend your hard earned money. They have discriminatory practices and policies. If you are a Caucasian, you will probably receive satisfactory customer care. The more melanin in your skin, the less customer service your will receive. I will go bald before I subject myself to a store that obviously supplies for Black-skinned people, but they make it very obvious how much they despise us. Just run out the door, do not spend your money here.

I walked in and was being followed around the entire time. The cashier accused me of stealing and i asked him to check the cameras and found nothing . He proceeded to inform authorities who also did not find anything! THEY WILL RACIALLY PROFILE YOU!! DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!
