Went in for a piercing. Whole process took maybe 5 minutes. It’s the least painful piercing I’ve ever had. Usually my ear feels hot after and it didn’t this time. By the evening I could barely feel I had it done. Would definitely go back for another piercing!

Paul has produced great work with my requests but I’m also very proud to have one of his originals as well!

Iron Heart has incredible talent and extremely personable artists. My appointment flew by so fast because of just how easy everyone was to vibe with! There was also a ton of art on the walls which provided for great distraction from the needle. Almost all the artists chatted with me in some way and made me feel welcome. My artist was a guest artist from Ames who Ive been following for all my tattoos but now I have a studio closer to home I can feel comfortable going to. Thanks!!

Biff is the only piercer that Ill ever go to. He has done three or four of my piercings now. Hes super knowledgeable, keeps his area clean, friendly and makes you feel comfortable. His pricing is also super fair for the quality that you get. Everyone is friendly and professional. RJ makes it easy to get in and out. Ill remain a returning client.

Allison was awesome! My hubby and I got matching tattoos for our anniversary. Allison did an awesome job and it turned out just like we hoped! It was my first tattoo and she was very patient with me. It was a great first experience and I look forward to more!!

I got my nipple pierced here, bif was super nice and walked me thru everything and it was overall a very pleasent experience; however one of them is slightly crooked and it’s something i’m just going to have to deal with because i will not be redoing these piercings haha. i still love them but it does suck that they are slightly uneven

I got a tattoo here with Sean and it is the wonkiest thing you’ve ever seen. I hate it. There is blowout and the line work is very poor. Scheduled a cover up today and hopefully I have better luck with them.

I had a great experience with Allison ! I absolutely loved her customer service, and the way that she was overall . She literally makes your visions come true, and her attention to detail is amazing. I would recommend her 100% ! The place is also very fashionable and clean, it was one of the nicest places I’ve ever been to . Allison takes her time with each client, and is great at what she does.

My girlfriend and I got tattoos from Sean here not too long ago and everything about it was amazing. Sean was really nice and a fun person to talk to, and both me and my girlfriend were extremely satisfied with our tattoos. The other artists we interacted with there were all very friendly as well. The shop itself was very clean and organized, and I very much enjoyed the whole aesthetic of the place. Would highly recommend coming here!

I have been getting piercings for 18 years & for the most recent re-piercings & daith I decided to try a new shop; this shop. I was so very happy with this decision!Best experience since being pierced the first time. Add to that, next day no issues. Great healing & no lasting issues caused by peircers error.Piercer was 10min late but made up to later during checkout. I called during business hours & made an appointment. They were able to work me in on Sunday; the ships day off!Great work ethic! Amazing skill! Would recommend anyone wanting any piercings to make an appointment & go in as it is worth it in the long run; for 1. to give this shop a try, 2. great skill w/tool & jewelry. & 3. good care of individual being pierced!13 out of 10 👍

It was amazing. He did my nose peircing preally fast with the cutest purple opal stud. Was really nice and awesome. Im a 12 year old and he said it was fine for me to get it. I recommend this place. Really cute atmosphere and is super welcoming.

Ive gotten three cartilage piercings and a helix done here, best place ever. Biff is hands down the best piercer in the des moines area and I will go there for all of my future piercings and tattoos

Paul does nice work but keep it classic. Trouble starts outside this genre. Dont bother providing photos. And make sure you bring a buddy to watch or he will go off script. Luckily for me, I found another local artist who was able to remedy the wretched tattoo. Plenty of quality shops in DSM, Id suggest you keep looking.

I got my tragus pierced there and I followed all cleaning procedures and was safe with it, but it got so infected that it swelled along my jaw line and was throbbing just sitting there while secreting a green liquid. Hurts so bad. Got a piercing for nothing it seems like.

Horrible experience, misspelled the word fighting so now it says figthing. Paul was unbelievably rude to me and my mom and aunt, he was rushing us with our decisions, was basically his way or the highway, his work was so sloppy. I hope that A**hole PAUL can and will read this. You call yourself a tattoo artist, ya right. Pathetic! Yall dont even deserve one star!

Biff is hand down the best piercer and he gave you good advice on how to take care of it and it was pain less

The tattoo turned out alright but the artist was stubborn and in a bad mood. I had sent him a photo of a drawing of pretty much exactly what we wanted and it took him three tries to draw anything close to it.

Fantastic group of tattoo artists. They are always busy, so plan in advance and book early.

I just need to comment on this guys ex-g.f. telling b.s.they misspelled the word fighting ... Hmmm, do you remember when you got to look at the stencil before he started working? That part where you had the chance to catch the misspelling too... Yeah that one, being its permanent, I would take the time to make sure its how I want it.So Im left with thinking, you must be his disgruntled EX. ... No way this really happened, without you being just as dumb and at-fault as he was.

Have been to many artists around the northern va area over the years and Heath is by far one of the most respectable artists in the industry. He is great at his craft and I will be back soon hopefully if he isnt booked :)

Dont get any piercings here. I got 2 dermal in the back on my neck. 1 year later I pulled one out myself. And 4 years later I had to have surgery to get the other one out since this dude who pierced me out 2 BASES IN ONE HOLE. Dont to here. Do yourself a favor and just dont
