Theyve completely redone the store and it is great! Everything is on display and easy to browse, not in boxes. The staff is extremely nice and helpful!

Some nice improvements have been made to this store. Hardware selection seems expanded and items are displayed on the box for better browsing. Leather is nicely organized for the different varieties. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Went down to the store for the first time because I am interested in starting to do leather working as a hobby being a laid up disabled veteran, I have time on my hands.Amanda, who was working, was extremely helpful, knew the store and where things were, knew her tools, and was helpful in what I needed.I will be looking forward to dealing with Tandy Leather!

Use to go there all the time, last time i was there the girl in the front desk just had an attitude and was rude, fond better places to buy online, cheaper price and I dont have to deal with rude cashiers.

Not open for in store shopping. Online w/curbside pickup only. Frustrating. Another brick and mortar going to loose vs Amazon

Never had a bad experience in this store. The two gals working the front even graciously put up with my Father (who thinks hes funny... the kind of guy who when something doesnt scan goes Oh it must be free) and they always help me find just what I need as well as the staff is always crazy knowledgeable. Just wish they were closer to my Iowa City!

This was my first visit to a tannery. They have lots of items from wallet kits, apolstery, leather for belts, punches, and ends and pieces. We were looking for a piece for a knife sheath and found a remnent that will work perfectly. We also found a wallet kit that will be perfect. Such good quality stuff here.

Stopped to try to get some oil tanned leather. Only way I could get it was a whole hide. Compaired to other leather stores it was NOT user friendly. Got frustrated and left. Went to my truck and ordered the stuff I needed from Springfield Leather 1/2 the price, better quality but now have to wait for shipping. Wish I could have supported this store.

The staff at Tandy are very helpful and knowledgeable, they do not mind helping you find what you need for your project. They offer good advice and tips all you have to do is ask, craft classes are posted regularly at the front of the store.
