I have bought meat here that is borderline spoiled when I got it. This is the second time I’ve had this problem at this location. The first time I had an issue I bought meat and 4 days later (it being sealed and in my fridge the entire time) I went to cook and it was spoiled all the way through.(RESPONSE TO OWNER)The first picture is of meat 4 hours after I bought it. Great little Mexican store caries all your Spanish dishes supplies.

Mi gusta la tienda! Fresh meats, sausage, fish, cheese. They really cover Latin American flavors. Prices are better than the big groceries and the quality is better too. You might get a chance to practice your Spanish, if you dont speak Spanish, somebody will be there to speak English.

Ka Tapatia is well stocked and the girls are attentive to your needs. I like the paan dulce from Mexico and the fresh vegetables. I go to the one on Merle Hay.

This is a excellent store. It is clean and well maintained. I really enjoy the selection of Hispanic foods that I cannot get at a typical grocery store. Huge burrito tortilla among other unique finds. They have a nice meat counter and a small hot food bar with some classic basics like burritos and tamales. Staff if very nice and helpful. My favorite Hispanic food store Ive found. Thank you!

You can always find great food and good people, we love this store.

Some people of different race feel like they cant come here because this is a Mexican store. Fear not, I assure you, they will not treat you any different. They are very friendly and great products for a good price. This store is a great place to shop.

Real great place to buy good hot food and like deli and great looking meats and all types and like a food market Mexican and lots of different types of food that is different and looks great and people are really nice and kind and you never know until you get out and check out new places you have never explored before so check out this Market real reasonable prices!!!

A itd convenient you can get a cook meal to go or vegetables drinks raw meets. treats lots of things; fruits on a cup corn on a cup or stick. mmmmh

Great staff. Tons of Latin products soap to food and everything in between. Pinatas a plenty. Check out the butcher, fresh meats from seasoned to freshly cut. Stop by and try something new like the conchas or Mexican candies or try a new product. You may be surprised.

Smaller than the Southside joint but still a good store

Very well priced and high quality produce along with the best salsa you can buy in Des Moines. The hot sauce selection is excellent as well. The tamales are also great.

Typical Mexican grocery store on northwest side of Des Moines. Small store in a strip mall; has the essentials we need for authentic Mexican cooking. Also has ollas and equipment needed for cooking. Also a great place to get piñatas. Seems clean for the most part.

Friendly staff always welcoming makes me feel I belong enjoy shopping there with my husband . Everything is always fresh always smells wonderful as we walk in the door.

A good place to stop by and get a few things. Although very expensive produce compared to Walmart or aldi, basically any other place. They have nice candy and a lot of meat options although I prefer the one downtown this one saves the drive.
