We were in town on vacation and noticed our belt was showing the metal on one of the tires. With a 12 hour drive home we knew we needed to have it fixed. The shop made sure we had all 4 replaced (all wheel drive) and checked the alignment. Of course it was off (which is why the one tire was showing metal). They gave us a discount for all of the work and made sure we were safe before driving home. Thank y’all!

Cannot say enough great things about this place!! My boyfriends car randomly wouldn’t start one night and as just moving to the area we weren’t sure where to take it, towing company recommended Good Year so I called them first thing the next morning to give them a heads up we were on our way and what was happening with the car, manger said “no problem bring it on up” after dropping it off, it wasn’t long I got a phone call explaining what was wrong and how to fix it. Both the guys up front (Really wish I had gotten their names) were SO helpful and had amazing customer service!!! Definitely going to be my go to for all my car needs and will be recommending this place to everyone! Thank you Good Year!!

I would normally give them a good rating but after today I just cant. I would give them a zero if I could. We were treated so poorly. I originally called and asked if they could fix my car... I was told they could, so I paid $150 to have my car towed there. I was told that my starter could be the issue bc my car wouldnt crank. They ended up telling me, no its not your starter, its something else but we dont know what. After 2 hours of searching, the guy told me the part I needed cost $800. I thought that seemed astronomical and I didnt think this could be right. I then had my husband call and they quickly changed their story.. several times. We know, we dont know...its electrical, its not, were not sure, the part will be $800+, were still digging into it (trying to see how much they could charge me $$$$ for) ...After calling back again a few hours later to check the status, we offered up info that we found that these cars will do this if it has a bad key fob battery (simple fix) the man rudely interrupted and said We arent going to fix your truck so have someone come tow it back off our lot and hung up. I was floored at how rude this man was and how much they could care less if my car was fixed or not. I have 3 kids and I thought this is horrible that I trusted them to help me. And they treat us like this?!This place cost me a lot of money on towing ($300 to and off the lot) and how they treated me and my husband (because the job wasnt going to be enough $$$$ for them I assume) along with telling us to tow our car back off their lot leaving us stranded again! UNBELIEVABLE!! I will never ever go back.. I would walk before I took my vehicle back to this place!After towing it to another shop in the area...within 10 minutes, they said it was definately a bad key fob battery. This was such an easy fix, low $ job that could of cost me way less if they would have just done their job.

Great bunch of people, I came from North Carolina to Destin on vacation with my wife. I just had 4 new tires put on the day before we left, the company that put the tires on didnt check the valve stems. The next day I got in my car and noticed one tire was on 22 lbs they hold 40 lbs. I always take along a battery operated pump just to blow up the grandkids floats . It was Sunday so they werent open until Monday they replaced the valve stem no charge and checked the rest of them.

Was on vacation and daughters front 2 tires needed to be replaced before we left for home. They did an amazing job. Got a good deal on 2 new tires...

Had an appointment to get a set of tires put on my GMC Yukon. Mason found several other issues, some needed immediate attention and some of them could wait a little longer.  Now he could have just put the tires on and sent me on my way because they were busy.  I felt he was not trying to get me to spend more money but more so about saving me from more costly repairs or breakdows later. I truly appreciated that !!! On his recommendations I said go ahead and get it done. He got one guy mounting & balancing the new tires and Larry started the repairs. Mason was all over the store from helping customers to helping his employees with different things.  I would like to say that Destin Goodyear has an awesome employee in Mason. He definitely knows how to multitask. Id like to add that every employee in that store was very busy taking care of the customers vehicles. If a customer came up just needing air. They would take care of that then right back to what they were doing. Awesome employees.

A few weeks ago, I brought my F-150 in for brakes and ended up running into a number of issues I was unaware of! From the moment I stepped in the door, Mason was a tremendous help! He made sure to inform me of what was going on, the risks, my options, and genuinely cares about his customers. A few days ago, I brought my Lincoln to the same location where I had my alternator replaced and a few other things. As always, Mason was on top of it and works his butt off for each customer! I have to give the other staff credit as well, and the mechanic! These guys are top notch! Thank you guys so much! Because of Mason, Goodyear is the only place I bring my vehicles to since my F-150. It isn’t about the price always, sometimes it’s the people and the customer service you receive. Again, I can’t thank these guys enough!

We can’t say enough good things about this location. My son was on senior trip in Destin headed home when his alternator went out. They sent a tow truck and fixed my sons truck in a few hours. As a parent I am so thankful they were fast and honest. Not to mention the more than reasonable price to get my son back on the road home. If you need anything for your vehicle, this is the place. We can’t thank them enough!!

Had a slow leak in my tire in Destin. Took my truck to Goodyear right by Destin Commons.I told him the tire was old and I just needed some air to get me back over the bridge where I had a new set to go on the truck. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Got a massive screw/bolt that went through the tire. Instead of replacing it they did a patch/plug that allows my tire to continue done the road. Back to our Christmas vacation. Would recommend.

Just purchased a set of Goodyear tires from the Destin, Fl store. I shopped 2 other tire shops before I decided on the Goodyear here. I had some questions concerning the tires I wanted to purchase for my 2020 Tahoe. I actually talked to the store Manager (Mason Riggs) and he took the time to explain what my options are and helped me decide what would work best for what I wanted. I now have 4 new tires on my Tahoe and they’re exactly what I had in mind. I also told Mason that I would be using his store for my oil changes and other maintenance needs not covered by the dealer. Great store and fantastic people to deal with. They even gave me a ride back home while the work was being done and came to pick me up when the work was complete.

They broke my TPMS Tire Pressure Monitoring System inside one of my wheels and did not pay to fix it. I was out over$200 after everything said and done. Manager was very argumentative about the whole thing which was their fault.

I used to think this Goodyear store was really good. Over time their service has dropped dramatically. They can’t seem to keep technicians any longer. I had an appointment for today at 9am for brakes on my car. I wasn’t told they only had one tech working today. Once I observed the only tech working, I went and asked and then was told. They should tell a customer when they arrive of the situation. On top of this last week when I had the same appointment, I showed up to be told the tech that does brakes called in sick. They tried calling me but had the wrong number. So I asked to make sure my correct number was in the system, today my number still was not correct in their system. One counter person working with 2 managers sitting in the their office along with just one tech working. How in the world can they retain customers like this? They have lost me as a customer after several years of going here. What has happened to customer service these days!

I am on vacation from MemphIs. My splash guard came loose and was dragging the ground. I took a chance on Goodyear in Destin and was extremely pleased. They assured me they could fix the problem and have me back on the beach in no time! Mason and Mike went out of their way to help me. The price was affordable. Wait time was short, and my car is fixed. Wonderful service all around!

I have spent several thousand dollars here and although I wish I didnt have the issues, there is no where else I would have wanted to take our vehicles. They explain exactly what they are doing and show you 1st hand the issue. Even their waiting room has Keurig coffee, bottled water and a big screen TV. Highly professional and unheard of service! I had a nail in my tire and brought it in to get a patch. Ive had to come in one time before and the service was just as good today as it was then very friendly staff and sent me on my way quickly with the problem fixed.

Mason was extremely helpful. Even though he cautioned me that there would be a long wait on a Saturday, he got my car in much faster than expected. He went above and beyond in taking care of my tire issue. The staff were courteous and efficient. This is definitely a professional group.

I gave this place 1 star bc I could not give it 0. They give me the feeling that I am dealing with a used car salesman not a technician. I have had awful experiences with these guys on multiple occasions. When you schedule an appointment for an oil change an alignment, 2 1/2 hours later they’re trying to sell you something else. I think they could keep appointment times if they would just the work you asked them to do.1) They found a nail in my tire, which happens from time to time. God forbid you ask them to patch it or plug it. It’s a Goodyear store you’ll need a new tire. The tire option I was presented was the $400 one as if that was the only option. I had to ask if there was a cheaper way to go, and low a behold the they had a tire for half the cost and 60,000 mile warranty. I can imagine if my wife was there we would have end up $400 tire because other option were never presented.2) Cabin air Filter clogged. After waiting quite some time for my Oil change, the technician came out and said I needed a cabin air filter because mine was clogged. The service runs around $100, I opted out. After some time goes by and I noticed my AC isn’t blowing very hard so I take my car to my actual trusted mechanic. And he explained to me that the cabin air filter was missing, and it would be $16 for the replacement filter.I called this Goodyear store to express my discontent. After speaking to the manager he explained they would have change the filter for $24 dollars. But the one and only service that was offered to me was for the filter and to flush the system for $100. He did apologize for his tech not putting the filter back in my car. We also discussed why they can’t hold to appointment times, he explained they were short staffed. He had the audacity to compare it to going to a doctor and waiting in the wait room before the doctor see you. After more discussion the manager and I agreeing to disagree. They stand behind ALL of their products and only offers “ the best “. So they should show me a few options of their “best” tires, maybe the $200 option works the best for me and the $24 fix work best for me.I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS STORE. EVERY EXPERIENCE I’VE HAD HERE IS A TIME AND MONEY SUCK. I CAN’T JUSTIFY GIVING THESE GUYS ANYMORE OF MY TIME AND MONEY.

Mason and James took very good care of me with my appointment I set up on their online appointment portal the day before. Price was very reasonable and fare, they also gave me a lot of good advice when taking care of my vehicle and doing my own repairs. I am in very good hands and I will definitely use them in the future!

Mason and his crew went above and beyond for my wife today. She got a flat tire and needed to get the car towed to the shop. Im out of town so, I called and spoke with Mason and coordinated which tires we wanted and to have my wife leave the car to come back the next day. She was able to get it towed and arrived at 4:40PM, they close at 5:00pm. Mason and two of his guys had that car jacked up with new tires installed within 30 minutes. We were very impressed with the service we received today at Goodyear Destin. I would definitely take any of my cars there to be serviced.

We had a screw in our rental van tire and Goodyear took care of us with no problem, their customer service was amazing and very timely. Can’t thank these guys enough for the awesome job!

Everyone knows that you put the good tires on the back, well they told me that at their store, for pick up trucks (that tend to lose traction in the rear when it rains), they place the good tires in the front. So I called corporate and they said that the new tires should of been placed in the rear. Its even posted on their website. Try telling that to the know it all at the Destin location. This is my second time going there, both times, they chose to do things their way. I would of been willing to go back to get my tires rotated, but they never offered. Talk about cattle! To top it off I was quoted an out the door price on the phone and was charged more. My husband paid without knowing. I didnt have time to argue about it, but expected that to happen. I am sure they treat everyone this way. Beware.

I had a boat trailer tire out of balance. Luckily I went here and Matt check it out and found a bubble on my tire. Even though they didn’t usually do trailers because of limited room he helped me anyway. I saw other reviews that were disparaging but not my case.

Excellent Timely Service. Battery died on way out of Henderson Beach State Park just as we were heading home. Stopped at Goodyear, tested the battery, alternator, and starter. Diagnosed and replaced the battery within 2 hours. We are back on our way!

My girl friend and I were in DESTIN for a long awaited vacation. Of course we ended up with a nail in my tire so we ended up at Goodyear to have this problem patched. Goodyear was very busy and they were working with a skeleton crew but Mason came out and was so polite and professional, knowing we were from out of town, he promised to fit us in and would calll us when done. Turned out my tires were not in the vest shape. Long story short; even in the middle of chaos, mason put new tires in my car and I was out the door that afternoon. He saved the day!!! Very happy with my service today. I arrived early and they took my car back right away. the technician showed me filters that came from my car and were needed to be replaced. I knew they needed replacing but always forgot to ask them to to check it. service was excellent as it always is!

So far they have been great. Had a brake issue and they are going to do what it takes to get us fixed. Gave us a ride to our condo. Will do another review when work is done. Calling when car is ready🙂

I came here on New Year’s eve after I found a large screw in my tire. The Porsche dealership didn’t have tires in stock, but they recommended that I go to the Goodyear nearby to get it plugged. Cameron and his team atwere able to get the screw out and get my tire repaired quickly. They were done before my ice cream melted :) Cameron was very friendly and professional!

Great great customer service! Very attentive and what makes it so much better is that me and my family just traveled 12 hours from Ohio and realized we had a slow leak in the rear tire. They patched the tire in less than an hour. They made our trip much smoother! Thank you Goodyear associates.

This Goodyear location is horrible the service advisor /manager Mason will not return your call when there is a problem. He is reluctant to do work with the canteen a veteran store that the VA have within the VA hospitals. He told me I should try to go to another Goodyear location 5 times. To my fellows veterans don’t go to this location they don’t honor our service as veterans they will turn you away. I served 7 years in the Navy and this Goodyear location do not like serving us. I had ordered tires from here and the size was incorrect. They had already took my tires off my car anticipating the tires ordered were correct but we ordered the wrong tires. So they put my original tires back on my car and I still was told to try another Goodyear location. I left they on my drive home my tires pop while driving in the rain at 80 mph. I had spare put on tire pop too. Called Goodyear next day manager would not return call and told me reluctantly he didn’t need to. Worst experience and bad business. I will not go back. Mason is a bad manager and staff is horrible. Don’t waste your time.

We had some trouble at first getting our tire tread warranty honored, but eventually we were able to work it out. In the end our confidence has mostly been restored and we look forward to having it back to where it was before - soon in the future.

Got my daughter’s truck alignment done here. Nobody else knew how to align it with shims because it’s old school. Drives straight and tires are wearing great.

I went to Goodyear Friday morning the 12 of July to make an appointment in person for brakes and tires with my lease plan paper work in hand. I wanted to make sure they had everything in stock and could perform the job and have my work van back Monday by 8am. When I showed up Monday at 8am the van was still on the rack and the tires were off and the brakes were not done. I was told they didnt know why it wasnt complete. They werent there over the weekend and couldnt tell me what happened and why there is a delay. I was told it would be a two hour wait time. I called them in 2 hours and the employee told me it wasnt ready and he didnt know when it would be. Im losing money every hour the van is on the lift. At the very least they could have reached out to me and told me the van wouldnt be ready. I am so upset with there customer no service and communication skills. I cant believe they are able to stay in business with how unprofessional they are. Its 11:30am on July 15 and I still have no idea when my van will be ready.

I was shopping at the outlet mall down the road and got a metal piece in my tire. I drove it to Goodyear Auto Service before it was flat. They told me it would take about an hour altogether to patch it. It took them about 20 minutes total. They were very friendly, fast, and helpful.Best of all, it was completely free. They said it is their policy to do patches free of charge in hopes that the next time one goes to buy tires, they buy Goodyear.

Prompt service while I waited. Great 3 year alignment package deal since all this road construction is going on in my Destin area. They found my alignment was out on one tire, and my new car only had less than 7000 miles on it. This was my first time here to get oil change, tire rotation and the alignment. Hopefully their internet will be faster (manager said speed of net comes an goes) have coffee and TV in lounge area. Recommend this shop highly.

I was visiting in Destin Florida for a few days. The night I arrived my old change light came on. I still had to return back to Texas with over a 700 mile drive back. Oil change needed badly. On a Saturday morning, I started my adventure into a town, I knew noone. I was trying to find someone that would do an oil change very last minute. Turned away and some places trying to charge me double, because I needed an appointment. Until I was lucky and I walked into Goodyear t of .Destin Florida. Mason helped me out and was able to get me in and serviced my car, so I would be able to make my trip back to AustinTexas safely. Mason and James were very kind and provided excellent customer service. They showed empathy and honesty with my situation, if you are ever in Destin and need tires or any car service stop by and see this location. Needed to get a tire plugged. At 8 am they said it would be an hour. 6.5 hours later they still hadn’t bothered to start on it.

A great service center with a great staff

I was driving down Airport road when I noticed a faint scraping sound. I pulled over and saw that my tire was about to blow out. I called Goodyear and spoke with Mason, who said they would fit me in even thought they were closing in 45 mins and had multiple tickets in the queue. Coy and Mason were super nice; they ended up having to stay past closing time to finish my vehicle. I ended up getting four new tires along with their unlimited alignment package so hopefully I wont face a blowout in the future. Prices are good. They have a nice waiting room, big TV, chairs, clean. I will be back for an oil change and more tires in the future. Thanks for the great customer service, Goodyear team!

Two hours to change one tire. While looking at reviews of the place I saw a review from Steele. He was working the counter. Ive had better experiences at Walmart tire center. Also they only had one tire that fit a 2016 dodge caravan in the whole dang place. Dodge caravans are not a rare vehicle. The single tire just happened to cost right at $200. Its an 80k mile tire so itll last longer than my van. Ill have to be sure and remove it when I sell it and hang it on the wall. Theyre lucky I was on vacation and needed a tire to keep vacation from going south. Id go some where else any chance you get.

The guys at Goodyear in Destin took care of me within 24 hours of me picking up a piece metal in my right rear tire. They did not have my tire in-stock, but were able to get a tire that matched the other ones on my truck within 24 hours. I was back on the road in a timely manner. I would recommend good year tire to anyone in Destin that finds themselves having tire trouble.

I called to ask if they could remove my fan from the pulley on my water pump because it is my daily driver, and my pump completely failed. Too risky to drive it as bad as water was pouring out. The gentleman who answered the phone was super nice, but said, “No, unless we’re doing the work we can’t help you.” What he probably meant to say is, “Since we’re not making a $250 profit off of you it’s a waste of our time.” That sounds about right. Thanks Goodyear nothing customer friendly, or family oriented about that place whatsoever. If I could give you 0 stars I would.
