We went out on the bay with a friend. The experience was wonderful. Everyone had fun and there were lots of people out boating.

Where to start. August 2020 there was a hurricane that had our boat in the neighbors yard. We had the boat towed to Legendary and was told the boat would be ready by December. Every week we call Trevor and he says it will be ready this weekend, and another weekend goes by. When we said we would have it trailered to another business to be worked on they promised it would be done by Memorial Day. And that was a lie. Fast forward to today, June 19th and our boat is STILL not ready.It seems like Legendary takes care of their boat club members, and disregards the people who own slips and need work done on their boats.I would suggest not purchasing a boat, storing a boat or having work done on your boat from Legendary. Legendary just pushes you off and has zero customer service, never once offered up a loaner boat to use, and now it is looking like our summer boat season will not be happening.Learn from our mistake and dont think the big building means lots of people willing and able to help. There are other marinas in the area!

Their service department is the best in the area. Ken CRAIG, service manager dies a great job for his customers trying to manage timeliness, customers, and accuracy of service. I have twin inboards and when I need service he is always there to help and I know he is treating me fairly in the process.The storage facility is nice and has capacity for very large boats. Amenities are great with restaurant, bar, ships store, fuel, ice and bathrooms on site.

These guys always work hard to get me back on the water. James has definitely gone the extra mile more than a few times to get my motors up and running!

Nobody takes care of their customers and boats like this marina. First class all the way. They track weather conditions, they make sure you are comfortable if you have to wait. Tremendous operation all around.

Just bought a Pursuit 288 from Travis and then had outriggers installed by Ed. I can’t say enough about the level of service and professionalism shown by the sales and service staff at Legendary. Got a fair price on the boat, but more than that they were really a pleasure to deal with. (Before, during and after the sale.).

My brother kept his big center console here when he lived in Destin. Customer service was top-notch.Their equipment for dry storage of your boat is the best Ive ever seen.Their flag is visible from afar. Their mural is legitimate art.

The family and I showed up for their Floatin & Boatin event today. Wanted browse around at some pontoon boats they only had three at the show, and even the grand total of boats was still Perdy disappointing. We asked if they had any more pontoon boats els Where? Was told unfortunately no. And to boot the price of the available pontoon boats has seem to double in price sense my family last bought a boat just two years ago, not sure if COVID-19 related or what.....? The sales man we did speak to was very friendly and professional though. But by the end of it we only stayed for like 30-40 minutes and saw all they had to offer, kind of unfortunately surprising for the size of Legendary.

I was on vacation in July when my alternator belt broke on my 2014 Cobalt 24SD. I was able to navigate into their harbor and get service. They not only were able to fix it quickly but were able to do so with amazing customer service. Steve met me at the dock, showed me where I could eat with my three kids while they worked on it, and then even let us swim in the yacht club pool until it was complete. We were back on the water in just a few hours with basically no impact to our vacation. I live in Tallahassee and will make the drive to have them work on it from now on.

Ive purchased three boats from this dealer, all from same salesperson - Bill Mckissick . All three transactions went smooth as butter, from finance department right down to delivery. Service after purchase always excellent as well. Writing this review in response to my latest purchase. I moved away from Destin, and after moving back - informed Billy that I was in market for another boat... Im sure he knew he had another fish on the line :) After being pretty specific what I wanted, I was surprised at what he had found. Instead of $elling me a boat from their lot, or another Legendary location - Billy had a friend selling exact boat I was looking for. Bottom line, Billy put two of his fishing friends together - w/o asking for any compen$ation. This deal worked out perfectly for both of us, and surely cost Billy another sale from me! Bottom line, this guy goes out of his way for friends & past clients! Since he doesnt have his own google page, Im giving him and Legendary Marine props here!! Customer for life!

To say we were disappointed in our experience with storing our boat here is an understatement. Some of the worst customer service I have ever witnessed. Just a few examples: We would book our launch through the app the day before, arrive at least 30 minutes early, would still have an hour wait onsite for the crew to launch our boat. This happened on at least 6 occasions, the dock crew would leave black footprints on our cushions and had ZERO respect for our boat. You pay a premium for a service and convenience yet the value is grossly missing from Legendary Marine.

I can highly recommend Legendary. I bought my boat there and the customer service has been wonderful. Example, I had a pin stuck in a drive shaft and DJ was spot on in his diagnosis and resolution of the problem. I was on my way with the issue fixed in no time! These guys really stand behind their boats and are committed to the CUSTOMER! Thank you DJ! I have never regretted my choice to deal with Legendary, the best!

I wish I could leave ZERO stars. The customer service at this place is horrendous. We put down a deposit to hold a boat until we could sea trial it, we were told we would be cut a check immediately if we decided not to go ahead with the purchase. After awful customer service we decided we did not want to purchase our boat there so we asked that our deposit be returned. The sales guy told us he didnt handle that but he would inform the finance department that we wanted it returned. We waited over a week with zero communication about our refund. I called THREE TIMES after the week had passed and left messages (on the third time the front desk lady argued with me saying Ive never called) and finally the VERY rude finance guy answered my call and informed me that we dont get a check. I then had to ask how I get my money back and he said yup it was processed the 11th, youll see it soon. Well, awesome but I shouldnt have to go through all of this hassle and rude people just to get an answer. I do not recommend them. Big box retail type service, if they dont get what they want from you, they treat you like dirt. So happy we took our money elsewhere to buy a boat.

We had a rough spot after the sale with our trailer that was missed at the time of purchasing. Once the general manager found out he called us directly and worked tirelessly to resolve the issue. He took time to listen and then took action to justify the problem. He went above and beyond to satisfy our needs and dealt with our frustrations in a very professional manner. We arranged to pick up a new Zodiac on our way from S Florida with a new to us 58. The Zodiac was a perfect fit but a couple issues with the 58 came up on the trip there. Trevor and Ed are doing a phenomenal job in the service department. Ed is always responsive and provides over the top customer service and effort. I have had such a great experience at Legendary that I am moving from a dry stack slip renter to an owner! Keep up the great work guys.

Update: The General Manager has done a great job communicating + working with us since becoming aware of the problem.We had a great experience buying the boat, but since we have had nothing but trouble. The boat was in great shape, but the trailer that came with the boat was dangerous to use (was not told about before purchasing). We have spent an addition $1,500 fixing the trailer - new breaker, tires, etc. When we called about this we never got a returned called.ALSO We are also STILL waiting for out trailer tag and boat registration and sticker. It has been almost 2 months, we call the tag department and they claim COVID is slowing it down. This was not told to us when we purchased the boat, they said it would be mailed to us within a month!! I will not purchase another boat from them or use their service.

I had a deposit on a boat from Marine Max, but decided to check out the competition at Legendary in Destin before committing to purchasing. Travis showed me everything he had that would meet my needs and price point, and even had a boat delivered from the Pensacola store for me to view. He also took me on 2 sea trials with different boats. All without even a hint of sales pressure. I bought a better boat at a better discount by coming to Legendary, and the entire process including financing was completely painless. Very satisfied with my new Regal and my buying experience as a whole.

I worked with Lino back in August and was able to get everything done through email since I was about 9 hours away. It was the best boat purchase transaction Ive ever had and I have had several. Ive even bugged Lino months after the purchase to ask questions and he has responded immediately even on the weekends when he didnt have to. I cant say enough about this company and about Lino, they are awesome and Ive already shared Linos info with family and friends.

Where do I even start... Best experience ever with any Marine service dept. I recently had my Sea Ray 300slx in here for service and I cannot express how professionally and timely they handled my boat. I had been working on some pretty serious electrical issues with my boat for several month with no luck had talked to several dealers that wont even take inboards anymore, had taken it to the dealer that sells sea ray locally who kept it for a month only to tell me they had no clue what was wrong with it and they could either start throwing part at it or I could come get it which of course I did. Then I called and spoke with Steve at Legendary who after explaining my issues to him assured me that if his Mechanics could not fix it no one could. I hauled my boat 1.45 hours to them and sure enough right at 2 weeks later they had me up and going. Steve stayed in touch with me throughout and kept me up to date on what was going on and always made time to talk the couple times I called. I believe communication is key when dealing with any service dept. and they defiantly excel in that area. Thanks a lot to Steve and the Mechanics who handled my boat.

IIll never go back or recommend anything. I brought my 2014 used boat there to sell. I brought the covers to keep the sun from hurting the interior and they didnt even take care of my boat. Let my boat get moldy and seats faded started cracking. The covers are ruined. They pre owned manager didnt even know it was on the lot when I came to do maintenance on it. They dont care about there customers. Terrible experience. They even gave me the wrong parts when I gave them the part and serial number of the motor.

Purchased a boat owned by Legendary on 11/20/19 that they had previously taken on trade. They advertised the boat as having been rigorously inspected, with all deficiencies having been corrected. They touted the original one owner as having maintained the boat with an open checkbook. Took possession of the boat on 12/2- it started sinking 4 days later. Local marina had to make an emergency midnight service call to install a sump pump to keep the thing from completely sinking . legendary denies any responsibility for the $17k repair bill on the $70k boat that ive driven a total of 1/10 a mile from the ramp to the slip. The sales process took 2 months, the service department is completely unresponsive, and the entire process has been unprofessional and unpleasant.. Highly recommend looking elsewhere and avoiding this place.

Purchased a Cobalt 220s while out of state and was told the coast guard package (life vests) and stainless prop would be on the boat when delivered - didn’t happen. I spoke with the salesman and was basically told to pound sand. Good deal on the boat but not a fan of being lied to.Update - spoke with the sale manager and he is making it right and sending me the items promised. Great customer service.

The food was excellent and the young lady, who waited on us was terrific. She told us a couple of great jokes, all while bringing our food promptly and kept our drinks full. I will definitely go back after every day out on the boat. What a great place to close great days of fishing and fun.

I have been boating for nearly sixty years, have owned numerous boats ranging from runabouts to yachts, and have experienced numerous marinas from South Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach and Juno Beach Florida. Legendary Marina in Destin Florida is by far the very best facility. The facility is state of the art. From management, sales and service, personal and amenities, you will not find a better managed and serving marina anywhere.

Enjoyed the eye candy a couple of times while in Destin and know exactly where my ship will come in when i win the lottery. Teal beauty with triple outboards would be perfect. #dreams

It started out great. We called earlier in the day and got connected with Neil, he sent us pictures of a Sea Hunt we were interested in. We asked a couple questions and figured he was busy. So we drove the 45 minutes to meet in person to look at the boat and talk numbers since we were serious. We we walked in and was immediately greeted by the receptionist and she got Neil - but he was with someone (very well could have been) and so we said we would walk outside and see the boat in person while he was finishing up. 30 minutes went by and we talked to the security guard outside and he was the nicest one of all. Finally we walked back inside to just finish waiting. When we walk inside we immediately find the receptionist and Neil in his office chatting it up. He obviously had no intentions of coming outside to talk with us and then just talked to my husband at the front desk. Didnt offer to take him in the office. He was very short with us. Kept saying Ill get it all to you tomorrow. You could tell they werent serious in gaining our business. I guess since were young adults theres no way we could afford something from them. Jokes on Legendary and their staff. Well be purchasing our next Sea Hunt from elsewhere.Update - not even two weeks later we did in fact purchase a Gamefish 27. Just not from Legendary.

The Only EXCELLENT MARINA on the EMERALD COAST! There are many imitations out their, but you cant beat Legendary Marina. The service is best, the storage prices great, its always a pleasure dealing w/ the crew!We werent fooled by other marinas on emerald coast in the area who promised the world but dont deliver mch in the way of service.Jeremy and the crew run a tight ship there and you can always tell they are in it for us, the customers. Do yourself a favor and choose legendary!

Legendary Marine is a great place for both sales, storage and servicing any boat. All I ever hear is positive reviews from my friends who have worked there and people that bought and store their boats there! I do not own a boat, but I have had the great opportunity to on occasion, rent a pontoon from their top-notch facility rentals place, Mid-bay rentals. Many of my friends not only dock at Legendary Marine, but they also bought their boats there and have nothing but good things to say about their sales and their service reputation... thanks!

Was told 3days to do the work needed..... took 3 weeks! Scott Jr is WONDERFUL at communicating! However his head of maintenance SUCKS! Even if you call and leave a message you get no response.

Great experience from the friendly person answering the phone to checkout. The pontoon we rented was nice. Much better than we expected for the money. Also enjoyed the friendly staff at LuLus. Great way to enjoy the family for 4 hours while on vacation!!

I got to take a tour of this place last week. Very organized place. Very Very Large place and they care about the boats they store. I was informed that they move boats about 44,000 times a year. You have to be good if you do it that many times.

Diagnosed quickly, but after waiting three weeks for motor to be pulled I had no choice but to take it somewhere else. When I originally called for service, Steve was professional and said they were all caught up and if I could get it in by 3 that day they would start that day. I hurried and got the boat to him that day. It was diagnosed the next morning. After that, my review drops to a one star: Story went something like this: No compression on #2 cylinder, something smashed spark plug completely. They need 13-14 hours of labor to pull motor because they need to pull generator also (probably around $1,800). Once pulled, they could diagnose issue. They couldnt pull my motor however because there is a boat in the bay they use to pull motors, and it was waiting on parts. Next call on status -- boat still waiting on parts, not sure why but parts should of been there already. Next call, Boat(s) still waiting in the bays we have, hopefully they are fixed soon cause youre next. Next call, were still waiting on parts, they should be here today/tomorrow, youre still next for the next open spot. Well get you right in. Youre next. We arent putting others ahead of you - promise. After hearing that line for over 2 weeks, I took it somewhere else. New mechanic pulled the motor in 3 hours, and didnt touch the generator. He showed me the plugs, and none of them had any damage (they were exactly like they were when I put them in 3 weeks earlier). He also showed me where the head gasket ring was bad. I doubt that I would ever trust LM again with any repairs.

More than happy with the storage here, excellent crew and great at taking care of customers. Legendary is the best!

Beware of this shady place. They totally misrepresented a boat that I purchased from them and didnt even try to make it right. This place is horrible. Think twice you will thank me.....Here is my response. I have talked to you Todd more than once and also talked to the owner . Was blown off more than once and was told go scratch. So this is what I did. If you want to make it right send me a check for 30k thats what it cost me to get it right and what I lost selling it. You guys lied more than once about this and I have text messages to prove that .

Great from start to finish. Excellent service from office staff. We rented the 21ft boat for half day. Boat was in great shape and was nicer than expected. We finished the day with great fun dinner at Lu Lus. The boat was really just a no hastle, no bad surprises experience.Was also really really nice that we did not have to drive into the Destin mess to go to the harbour and get the boat since they are at Legend marine.We will go back next year for a full day. Yes, renting boats is expensive but what a cool experience for your family!

NEVER trust Legendary with your jet ski storage and maintenance. Had them store ours for 2 yrs and their contract says they will get skis out of storage and place in water for you when you call and will pull them out when you bring them back up, flush them, then store them away again until next time. After thinking they were flushing them as they were supposed to do, we get them out this past spring and low and behold they started overheating on us. After taking them to Yamaha, learned they were corroded from not being flushed properly. Legendary avoided at all costs our phone calls to have them cover the expense of them getting fixed and will not do whats right. I would Avoid this place all together as they are very shady and cannot be trusted with your new expensive toys. Go elsewhere where they actually do their jobs like they are supposed to.

Thought we would try LuLus since we had heard so much about it from friends. I had a bowl of gumbo and it was excellent. We both had the crab melt sandwich. OMG! It was fantastic. Couldnt handle dessert. I recommend LuLus in Destin highly.

I want to brag on Steve and his team member Jeremy! I moved to Santa Rosa Beach a year ago. I have never bought a boat from Legendary, but what I can say is this, they treated me with the BEST customer service both times. The first encounter was i had a double axle trailer wheel bearing blow out. I stopped in in a panic and they helped me out even though they really dont handle utility trailers. Today, I brought my boat in to get the prop replaced, they got me in and out with in 45 minutes.These guys are top notch, friendly and honest as the day is long! If you ever need service or in the market for a boat, please stop by and see them! I sure will on my next boat purchase!

Horrible experience from service. I had a Verado power head rebuilt to the tune of 13k!! The kicker is I was quoted 8.5k and nobody ever told me about extra costs/expenses until the invoice came in. Trevor the service mgr is all talk on the phone and no- absolutely NO action. Avoid at all costs
