Not too busy, plenty of tables to enjoy a read and snack. We were able to stay a long time without feeling like table hogs. My husband would like me to note the graphic novel selection could be bigger.

A very stocked bookstore. I am impressed by many children interested in history and literature books, as well as manga and other things. Large spacious bookcase, clean and great attention from the staff that works there.

Good size book store with plenty of selection. Came to look for a book for my wife. Showed in stock online asked about it in store, they were unable to find it. However, they had a couple people looking for the book and were very helpful overall.

They need to have more anime- and manga-related art-tutorial books in-store and in-stock, like Manga Mania by Christopher Hart and 50 Fantasy Vehicles To Draw & Paint by Keith Thompson, instead of unknown titles and American authors Ive never heard of! Bring more of whats available online to whats lacking in-store and in ALL B&N locations!

Went to competitor across the street first (BAM) and they did not have anything I needed. The Barnes & Noble had everything and it was a MUCH better store and experience.

This is a nice store to browse through. Nice selection of books and magazines. It was busy but everyone kept their distance observing the 6-foot suggestion for COVID. Bathrooms were nice and clean at the time of my visit!

They have a big selection of metaphysical books, it was a very nice selection. My Barnes & Noble in Texas never have these books so happy I found they! They staff was also very friendly and helpful.

I looked for Kitchen Design books. I asked a clerk/young guy for that type of book; he sent me by pointing to the interior design book area. I didnt see any specific Kitchen Design/Idea books, so I bought some magazines, instead. I am visiting from out of state and beginning to design my new kitchen, so I wanted ideas. Check out was easy enough and I had a polite employee/gal. But managerial retraining of some employees, may be necessary for their future of dealing with customer service.

We are from out of town and this was the first time we went to this store. We were not disappointed. Great selection of books (we bought 5). It has a big cafe. Loved it.

I love this book store and really we had one in Pier Park! I coukd spend hours in here! There are so many amazing books to peruse and evey every type of magazine. They have a Starbucks cafe in store and their cipcakes are delicious:)

Im from out of town and decided to come here to see if they had any good manga and I came shortly after it opened and it wasnt that busy at all the manga section was completely empty nobody was over there and it was really nice and gave me time to decide what I wanted and I ended up buying volume 1 of Chainsaw Man, Assassination Classroom, Zom 100 and Ouran High School Host Club they were all a wonderful read too there was no damage and I am really glad I decided to come here.

Ive never been to a bad barnes and nobles. The store is nice and clean and the people are friendly. They have a great selection of books new and old and other cool stuff like funko pops, cute figurines like my neighbor totoro and kikis deleivery service, games, comics etc... :)

I love Barnes and Noble, however; my friend and I were practically pushed out the door. Since COVID 19 they changed their hours, to close at 7:00 pm, which customers werent aware because nothing was posted. We walked in at 6:30 pm and nothing was said about thr store closing at 7:00. They waited until 7:11 to announced they were closed and walked around telling people do you need help because we are closed. Just not good customer service.

Was looking for a book on Music Theory and the Employee showed me right away even tho they were about to close!

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The coffee shop is also friendly and fast. Good bookstore also if you just want to sit and read

Nice store but was out of a popular book I went in to buy. Yet you can order on Amazon and get in 2 days. I try to shop locally if I can.

Neat selection, Ill give that to them...but waaaaay overpriced....decent stuff in their clearance sections.Employees were too busy chatting amongst themselves to even acknowledge us in store. We will NOT be back. Customers choose to come into your establishment....maybe remember this going forward. Customer service is an art your team here apparently forgot.

I love that store and the variety of books they have but they are advertising a Story time events on Sundays that actually are not happening. We went today for it, we were there at 10.45 am. At 11.10 a lady came and saw us surprised that we were there. She said they did not forget about the Story time but they can not find the book.. 10 min later we were still waiting with another family who said that happened last Sunday too.. That is cute event that the store advertising they do Saturdays and Sunday and it is not very nice to go 2 times to the store for no event happening.

There is a high Chance that well be back. The cashier who assisted us with our return (Chance) was very professional, welcoming and eager to help. They were quick and efficient and answered all the questions that we had. This experience was memorable and will definitely be a key point in shopping at this location in the future.

I have been a few times so far and its a roomy store. They have most of everything- and if they dont- theyll order it for you. If you cant make the pickup date just call and a bookseller will happily hold it for you. I have never had a bad experience, and enjoy the employees enthusiasm and willingness to help me out if I have a question.

Love the atmosphere here. Not my first visit, but always the first place i head when I need a book, simple and quick. I was having a tad bit of difficulty as I knew the author and was in, well ~thought~ I was in the right section when an employee strolled by, heard me talking to myself and asked if he could help. Handed over the name of the book and he walked me one aisle over and laid his hand on the book then over to me. Now, if i can find a quiet few hours, I can once more venture out into Verse with my new Firefly novel. 10/10 will come here for the next Chapter.

My family loves to come here after eating dinner out. We get a Starbucks and wander around the store looking for new books.

Book stores are dwindling, but I like the atmosphere of a place dedicated to learning and entertaining through books. Too bad they are hard over about wearing masks, but this will pass right after the election.

I stupidly went shopping on Black Friday. The crowds were horrible. I decided to go to Barnes and Noble. It was much more sane. The staff gave me some ideas for gifts and showed me where to find things. I had a light dinner in the cafe which gave me the energy to keep going. It was a great change from the madness I had endured earlier in the day. There was a great variety of books, toys, music, calendars, stationery and clever stocking stuffers.

Loved this Barnes & Noble!! I love how they have a kid stage for story time ! It would be even more awesome if they had a table like they do at the others !! The lady walking around was so nice and even recommended me sign my kiddo up for free for the kids membership!! This was one of our go to places while visiting florida !!

I never go wrong with barnes and nobles. We were from out of town but they were friendly as ever. Good selection of books and magazines and had my magazine for the beach that I needed. If your a book worm like me, you will not be disappointed here.

As always, a fantastic place to go for books and other unique items. They have expanded their special items sections (office and toys). They always have something interesting for everyone.

Love this place! Staff is super nice and theres always so much cool stuff that barns and Noble carries. Best part is being able to enjoy a nice cold frappe from Starbucks while browsing over every section of the book store lol. You can find so much neat things though. Its great that this store doesnt carry just books.

Barnes & Noble would be one of the last mega sized booksellers left. Closest to me would be Books-a-Million. B & N certainly feels more upscale. Lots of sales through out the store. Large childrens section. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a nice coffee shop and free WiFi. The magazine racks are near the front. The DVDs, in general, were over priced unless you were buying from there cut out bin. They also have vinyl records for you hipsters who believe vinyl is some how better.

It was late and there was only one employee but that is understandable. Besides that the store is clean and the books are easy to find. :)

Love this place the workers and selection

The best of the bookstores I have been to, however the prices double those of amazon and I am a value based shopper. I have them three stars because they allow dogs in the store and that allows for a better shopping experience. I will of course be going back so that I can find the books and sample to books that I will ultimately end up ordering offline.

A wonderful experience as always in the Destin FL store. The only problem I encountered was the woman at the register didnt know money could be added to a gift card. I wasnt about to ask her to combine my three cards into one large card. Normally, Ill do that in order to use it to purchase Nook books.

Our boys love going here on vacation. When its raining outside this gets you out of the house. Good coffee shop, magazine stand well stocked and very friendly staff to help you find any book you need. Good proximity to other shops and food.

If this store does not have it they will order it for you. It is always well-stocked, clean, and organized with a wide variety of merchandise....some unexpected and unique. With friendly employees it is a win, win if you are looking for reading materials or gifts.

A very homelike atmosphere. I could get a book and some Starbucks and hang out with some friends here all day. That is because I am a bookworm, though. To each his own, if you like a good novel and fresh coffee aroma in the air, then it is for you.

This is one of the friendliest places to shop! I really like that everyone there is genuinely interested in helping you find the right book. I am in here often and they really seem to get new inventory all the time. Its one of the last good bookstores in the area.

Barnes and Noble in Destin is an amazing bookstore with a Starbucks thrown in. The building itself is large sucked with hard to find books and movies other bookstores do not carry. My daughter loves the reading stage and childrens book selections. Parking is very adequate as well with wheelchair accessible entrance to the store. After you find your favorite read go to Starbucks and have a fresh coffee to enjoy it with.

Nice book store

Its so relaxing just walking in the door. I was carrying a stack of books and two different employees offered to carry them to the desk for me so I wouldnt have to carry them around while I shopped. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

We were very surprised by the amount of collectibles they have. Im a collector fanatic and always enjoy window shopping at places like this. I say that being the fact that their selection is priced at marked up retail, but enjoyable to see nonetheless. Im just glad to see a large chain recognize the value in drawing the collectors.

It seems like things could be a little more organized and a little less spread out. The employees were more than willing to help. While that generally seems like a good thing, it did get a little irritating.
