On October 07 I realized I had lost all 76 notes on my iphone12. After several wasted hours with Apple support, they told me they were gone as they were not backed up in the cloud.I turned to this Verizon store for last resort help.When I walked in I told the staff I needed the smartest IT person here. Paul stepped up and jokingly said ‘We just make them ring”.After explaining to him what had happened, he started working on my phone to see if he could find them and restore them to my phone. After several minutes, they appeared, then disappeared again. After restoring the second time, I had my notes back.I cannot tell you how happy this made me. Paul was able to do something Apple failed at. He is an exceptional employee and one that truly cares about customer service. He really cared about my plight and wanted to help me. Never go to this Verizon store! The two guys working here were very sketchy and they will lie to your face. I took in my personal phone and my work phone and when they told me they were switching the SIM cards they only switched one and THREW OUT MY OTHER SIM CARD! Then when I had to return to the store to get it back, he had the audacity to ask me What are you going to do with it?! No apology, no professionalism. That is a blatant lie saying you are going to switch the SIM cards and then you throw one away.These guys are incompetent and they lie to your face. He had to dig through the trash, get my card out and then he didnt even reinstall it. He threw it onto the display area I was waiting at!I overheard the other worker say Thats why I work behind the desk so no one can bother me when I returned to the store. I was very nice when I returned to the store, I apologized to the customer he was working with and I said that he threw away something of mine and I needed it back. My advice is to never step foot in this store.

I worked with Carlos at the Verizon store as I came in to purchase a new phone. Not only was he unfriendly while I asked questions to compare the different phones to purchase but was also extremely rude. He did not offer to help with setup and activation of phone and sent me out the door without even telling me how to do it. I have spent 2 hours on the phone with tech support trying to activate my phone. Will NEVER go back to this store again, extremely unprofessional and has no customer service.

Pretty terrible experience. Had to wait almost 1 hour. The phones on display are on 2 inch cords, so you cant even feel the phone youre buying. Oh and if you do find something you like, they dont have it in stock.

The wait was over an hour with five people working and one other customer waiting in line, purchased the phone quickly and they were helpful with that when we were finally assisted, though they didnt assist with the device transfer. The store phone number goes directly to a machine that will not allow you to speak to a person and refuses to give you the direct store line and their excuse is the flu. All in all, the very helpful representative we purchased the phone from is the only reason this wasnt a far worse experience.

So I bought a $200 Bluetooth ear piece from this store that was broken when I got home and I brought it back to swap it out and they told me that I had to mail it off to the manufacturer for warranty. That is completely bogus because if I buy a TV from anywhere and I get home and its broken I dont call the manufacturer I take it back to the store about it from to get a replacement. I would highly advise to avoid this location at all cost.

I spent well over six hours trying to set up my new Apple Watch and even went to a different Verizon store all to no avail. I went to the store and a very nice young lady by the name of Rah-Ceonia took the time To ensure my watch was not only set up but working as it should before I left. She was so thorough, courteous, professional & helpful! She is truly an asset to Verizon. Having worked in HR For over 35 years I recognize a dedicated, hard-working employee. I highly recommend this location and especially Ms Rah.

Got back from vacation and told my Verizon store what Kyle told/showed me on his tablet about upgrading and they were complete morons. Horrible experience. Waited for 50 minutes on the phone. In the mean time I used the chat online. Went through multiple people, after 4 people I now have the hours of the closest store. All I need is a sim chip, the website says Verizon will ship it to you but when I tried to order it online they wanted to charge $20. WHAT! Couldnt get an answer on what the $20 is for...Lousy customer service!!!!!!!!

Customer service lacking. Whole store is empty except by counter area and I was told to wait outside and the wait was 2.5 hours. 4 customers in the store and it still takes 2.5 hours to get help. Agent could not help with issue either because I believe she was just getting rid of customers.

Visited this store this morning on Black Friday and was helped by the NICEST Verizon Sales Representative. Daniel was so friendly from the moment we entered the store until the moment we left. He answered all of our questions, and although they were out of stock on the items we needed, he was polite and was easily the friendliest employee I’ve ever dealt with at any Verizon store. We were visiting here in Florida on vacation, so unfortunately we won’t be able to return to this Verizon store location, but everyone else should visit this store if they want amazing customer service! Extremely fast service. The gentleman that helped me out let me in moments from closing and did not hold that against me. I ended up getting a phone with Verizon here. I went in on a Sunday 10/20/2019 I was already stressed because since I switch to the latest iPhone 11 pro and it kept freezing, I wasn’t getting calls or texts and this is my work phone! Fast forward I went in en several employees were not busy or helping other customers I came in the employees all stared at me and no one seem to want to help me until Chris stepped up and he would help me (that got me more upset) he looked in my phone helped me the best he could! No not really He told me to call apple or call customer service 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Geez thanks should of thought of that! Well for now on I will try calling costumer service instead of going to the store!! When I left they all stared at me! Making me feel very uncomfortable!! I wanted to cancel my account and get added to my husbands, taking over one of his two lines and change that phone to my number. Sounds simple right? Both the first worker we talked to and the manager she grabbed had no clue what we were talking about. They adamantly told us that its not possible and even compared it to getting a car loan, which makes no sense at all. They were talking to us like we are asking for their first born so we can sacrifice it to the Verizon gods.Called a different Verizon and were told we can easily do that over the phone.

I cant even begin to tell you how many times Ive walked in trying to return my note 7 which has been recalled. I still have this dangerous phone in my possession. Upon entry, they act like you are a problem, oh yes with a smile of course. I was told I received a 25 credit for my inconvenience. However, each sales person made it a point to apologize to me saying i was given bad information. If you dont want to do your job, go somewhere else to work. You are to represent Verizon. And you have poorly failed at this. Just know that if my phone cathes fire I will be suing you. Thats not really my thing, but hey, how many times and just how many hours am i supposed to waste trying to get you to do your job. Then not to mention I make a special appointment with the manager.... wait for it!! He wasnt even there when i Showed up to my appointment. I could go on and on. But bottom line is Get it together! Sales person promised me certain discounts that never came through. Seemed shady to me. Stay away from the short white dude. Also, I found out it would have been better (cost wise) to buy my phone directly from the manufacturer as the rebate would have been immediately applied. I bought my phone from this store and had to mail in all kinds of forms and crap. Also, they didnt port my number correctly. Took a week to fix-- really, you have never ported a number before? What a waste of time.

Awful customer service. My iPhone died with a black screen and they shipped overnight with my APT number missing on the shipping label. A deliver exception was made and the apartment number was supposedly added. Verizon assured me that my phone would be delivered the next day. Fed Ex said that Verizons system requested that the phone be returned to shipper. The people at the store said to ignore their website and that the phone was going to be delivered. Checked my tracking number this morning and surprise, its on its way back to Texas from Florida where I am. 3 days now without my business phone and they refused to just grab a replacement from the back. RIDICULOUS!!! Now after 3 days of calling, I now have to go back into the store and end up waiting another 2 days for a new phone. I wish there was an Apple store close by!

Walked in ready to open a new account, was greeted by Carlo at the destin office. We were treated with disrespect, and a very condescending demeanor. Wouldn’t try to help us with finding the right phone, just suggested the most expensive phone. Then proceeded to get upset when we didn’t want the iPad. Now he has gone in the computer and changed my account setting specifically to the ones i did not want. Now i have to go in and fix the account settings, to save the $60 i didn’t want to spend.Completely baffled that Verizon would let these people (fools) represent their company. I hope no one else encounters these issues.Avoid Carlo. Tried tricking me into a $1200 24 months LTE plan for an iPad. Where do I begin with the number of days and hours I tried to get my IPhone 7 Plus to work. Every single person I talked since. I got my phone on Sept 19 2016; until present time was untrained, rude, rushing me to get out of the store was ridiculous. I felt as though I was supposed to help them; like THEY were the customer and ; untrained, rude, did not know correct information. One night Ibwss on the phone 5 hours and still did not get my problem resolved. I think I should be paid by Verizon for my endless hours on the phone! Poor Poor Poor! The only reason they get 2 stars is the service the manager and assistant gave my mom and I. Do not talk to Joe, hes only there to get commission from selling new plans or phones...my mother was treated terribly by this employee when she had simple questions and needed help.. last I checked, even after many complaints, he was still there... My mother left shaking and in tears; I had to sit in the parking lot and help her with her phone after Joe was so very uncaring and refused to do anything for her since she wasnt buying a phone or new plan... terrible that they still kept him. He wasnt friendly to other customers during our visit either; same issue, no new plans or phones which didnt interest him.

This store was unable to resolve an issue I had with a promotion that was being offered by Verizon. I mailed a perfectly good phone into corporate in exchange for a $480 credit. A month later I recieve a $60 credit and pictures of my phone with what appears to be a cracked screen. Even though I have pictures of my phone prior to mailing it in which clearly show no damage they are still giving me the run around. Be aware of the promotions!!!Update 12/21/17. A local manager, at the FWB location, reviewed my issue and immediately escalated the problem to a supervisor. Within the week my account received a full credit for the advertised promotion restoring my faith in Verizon. In the future I will deal directly with the FWB Verizon location.

The associates are courteous and knowledgeable, HOWEVER, buyer beware. We were offered a special sale price for a Verizon Zenpad Z10. We relayed that we wanted to use it for internet only tied to the data plan of our current contract. After explaining this and being told we could bring it back in 14 days if issues we agreed. Surprise, the special rate was tied to an added phone line and and a one year contract which we were not told. And, oh by the way, if you bring it back for return within the 14 days you are still charged a $35 restock fee. And it doesnt matter if you have been a loyal 10 year customer, NO EXCEPTIONS. They are not your friend willing to work something out. So, if you are buying your first tablet or any device at this location take someone who knows which questions to ask because you will not be told until youget a surprise when your Verizon bill arrives.

I walked into this establishment looking to potentially switch from T-Mobile to Verizon, but after dealing with the most inept, unintelligent, customer service associate I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with, I will gladly be staying with T-mobile. I cant imagine the amount of people they must scam on a daily basis by telling outright lies about products, services, and competitors plans and coverage. I doubt this one branch reflects the entire company as a whole, but it was enough that I will never be giving Verizon my business after seeing how poorly they treat potential new customers. So, I walked in to the Verizon store yesterday with an upgrade available and asked them about what would happen to be financially if I used my upgrade. Back in the day, upgrade meant we give you a discounted phone to lock you in for two years.. Now, apparently it means you get to pay monthly exactly what you had been paying monthly plus $25-$35 a month for the prorated price of the selected phone. Ive been with Verizon a long time and have had data plans since the Moto Droid days and am used to getting less and paying more every upgrade, but a 50% increase in price for my line? Absolutely not! The worst part is the sales rep told me well, wherever you go this is how they charge for them now as I walked out, and then went to the Costco website where I can get an S6 for $50 for Verizon with a two year agreement rather than whatever their price north of $500 was. So in addition to horrible customer service to a long time customer, the sales rep outright lied to me about plans offered by both Verizon and consumers. I could not recommend this store any less, if you would like to stay with Verizon order your phone online, through Best Buy, Costco, etc.

Verizon, Verizon, Verizon.... what can I say about you? I guess I can start by explaining my relationship with Verizon... It is amazing. I have used them for years and without a doubt I love them... and not in the bromance type way, I mean straight up LOVE. But this review isn’t about Verizon; its about Emerald Coast Pkwy #1 Verizon... so lets begin:GENERAL: Since I have moved to Destin I have used this store with little to no complaint. The salespeople are great and they carry a decent selection of products. Like most technology stores are they have a limited knowledge of the actual technology so, if you are anything like me and want a detailed breakdown of the device, don’t expect much. They are sweet employees though and try hard to answer your questions.SALES: eh… they are good guys/gals (like I said before) if you need help then they will help you to the best of their ability. They never appear overzealous in their attempt to rape your wallet but there will be an occasional sales pitch. If you really care enough about it, they are very much an equal opportunity store (broadcasting both Android and Apple as great products)… oh and the other two brands…umm…. Blackberry (the phone your grandmother and or an 80 year old businessman uses) and Microsoft based phones (I am not sure what companies still have Microsoft’s ego shoved up their Mobile sales departments).PRODUCTS: It has everything you could possibly want… let’s be honest here, we are in Lower Alabama… the fact that you can use any phone is impressive… let’s not be picky.LOCATION: Well if you had your smartphone you could probably just navigate to it… use your TomTom or CuzinWife whatever they call the GPS things down here.As far as stores go this one is an A+. The manager seems great and the employees well trained with just the right amount of fear instilled into them by Corporate. I use Best Buy Mobile Center as well… really all I am saying is stay away from the god awful Verizon Authorized Retail Stores.
