Had a need for a fancy birthday cake on short notice. This wonderful lady created a beautiful cake and delivered to the house where we were staying fir vacation. Cake, and cupcakes, were simply fabulous as was the customer service!

I am just very disappointed with how my wedding cake came out! I’m not sure what happened with April she was very nice & sweet but I wish she would of put effort in making my wedding cake look fabulous as her sample pictures she has on her website! It’s just disappointing when you know you were expecting your wedding cake to look similar to the picture I sent her, & her respond was “she just went with what she had on her drawing” I’m guessing not once did she looked at the picture we had agreed on….very upsetting especially when it’s your wedding a one time event in a lifetime! On top of that I ordered desserts from her & she didn’t try to communicate with me nor my day of coordinator to let me know she wasn’t able to deliver my custom made cookies I ordered, till I noticed at last minute. My wedding was postponed from last year so for anyone else ordering anything with her or you perhaps already did last year make sure you’re on top of the communication & go over with her or you will have the dissatisfaction I experienced. This is absolutely one of the most delicious and gorgeous cakes I have ever had. We had a catered party for 26 people and April worked her magic on my husband’s 75th Birthday cake. Stunning is all I can say. Everyone was asking for her phone number and asking for a second piece The cake was so moist and the icing incredible. One of the best things about April is her communication. Such a profession and lovely lady. Five star service from the moment you contact her.

We traveled to Destin all the way from Houston in May to celebrate my daughters first birthday with her Gulf Breeze family, and all I really wanted for her party was a beautiful cake. April delivered the cake herself to our rental and it was just what I expected! I worried it would turn out to be one of those Instagram Vs Reality cases, haha but not at all. The cake and matching cupcakes were not only gorgeous but also delicious! The cake is on the pricier side but my husband said it was the best cake hed ever had, so it was worth what we paid. We ordered the red velvet cake and cupcakes so I cant speak for the other flavors. 4 days later and he was still eating the cake, lol... not recommended and something that we do not normally do, but hey he didnt get sick or anything, just really couldnt get enough of it. It was that good!

April does absolutely beautiful work and most importantly, DELICIOUS!!! We have several of her treats and cakes and all of it was worth bragging about.

The most amazing, modern and gorgeous cake. With a family of cake snobs having a destination wedding for my daughter made me nervous. The cake was as delicious as it was beautiful and the service was impeccable. Thank you for helping make our day that much more special.

We traveled to Destin for a Bachelorette Party. Communication up until pickup was great. However we set up a meeting time to pick up the cupcakes and cookies I had ordered. As I’m arriving (5 min early) she emails saying she realized she doesn’t have umbrellas for the cupcakes so she’ll be about 30 minutes late so she can pick some up. Okay, no biggie we’ll run to the grocery store to pick up a few essentials. As I’m there, she’s continuing to email saying she can’t find any and asking if the store I’m in has any...who did I pay for this? About 45 min later we finally arrive to pick it all up. She was not very friendly. Not apologetic. She has the cupcakes in appropriate holders, but the cookies are literally laying in a flimsy lid of a cake box turned upside down to act as a tray. The umbrellas are also just tossed in there for us to put in cupcakes once we get to the house. The cupcakes and cookies were cute. The cookies were small compared to custom cookies here for more expensive. I was just disappointed in the lack of professionalism and how the cookies were presented to me. It was obvious she was doing this order very last minute. Not great for business with that presentation with no apology of any kind.

April saved the day!! My daughters party was literally days away, and April was able to make the most authentic looking Harry Potter sourcing hat. Equally awesome was the fact that it was the best cake I have ever eaten... moist and the perfect amount of sweetness. April would give Duff Goldman a run for his money!

Cannot say enough good things about the Fairytale cake made by Bonnie Vie Specialty cakes for a princess ball that I hosted. Not only was it absolutely delicious, it was so beautifully detailed and made. Everyone was blown away by this amazing cake! Would definitely recommend them for ANY cake you might need. THANK YOU!!!

April is great! Being out of state and putting my trust in her 100% was easy! The wedding and grooms cake she made for my nieces wedding were wonderful, and everyone enjoyed them! Highly recommend!!

Our cakes were gorgeous and tasted amazing!! April also made sure our day was stress free of peanut allergy on both cakes! So our daughter could enjoy them with us! Highly recommended!! Thank you April for everything!!

Lack of communication they never answer their phone calls so you don’t talk to someone just by text and email. My husband did the questionnaire and accepted the quote everything went through perfectly fine expecting a delivery that NEVER got here after 30min of waiting. Called about 4 time and they never picked up but sent me a text they said they never got the confirmation that something was wrong with the software. Either way we never got our cake that was for my daughters 4th birthday that completely ruined our plans

My son and his fiance let me know a month before our summer vacation to Destin that they just wanted to get married on the beach while we were there. I called April and told her what I was looking for. Without any taste testing and face to face conversations, she took my order over the phone and I blindly left everything up to her. Both the wedding cake and the grooms cake were delivered on time and were extremely beautiful! The taste was out of this world and more than I could have dreamed of!!! Everyone was so impressed with those cakes. I would recommend April and Bonne Vie to anyone looking for the absolute best!! Thank you so much for saving the day April!!!
