Brought my son here for his 5th Birthday, he loves his stuffed animals. They are still over strict on covid protocols to so took forever to get in and out but he did enjoy picking his bear and accessories. The guy rang a Birthday bell at the end and everyone sang to him which was really cool.

My daughter had such a great time. They really practice covid safety. 2 customers at a time when we went. I was really impressed with how they are keeping customers safe. Overall experience was AWESOME.. FYI: If anyone is A.R.M.Y. there is a staff member there who is just the best which was a bonus!!! BORAHAE OT7

Over priced, understaffed, upon arrival was told about tje 2 for 45 deal. People walking out without buying anything due to the under staffing. I tried to bargain and said you have 2 for 45.....whats the price since Im buying 3 for my Grand daughters? Oh theres no deal on buying 3. What a way to make a sale.

Friendly employees, and good selection of bears and clothes. Yoda bear needs an upgrade as nowhere as cute as found in other stores. Toothless was nice find. Be careful to limit your kids in accessories, or the price tag goes through the roof.

Draconian social distancing rules in full force. I guess they haven’t gotten the memo this is 2021 and it’s not 2020 anymore. They might also be geographically challenged because this is also Florida — land of the free! No need for all the theater as it’s just driving away customers. Completely insane and unusual behavior by the store employees.

I called early to ask if they had a grinch bear available and was told no and won’t until the Holliday is near because of a liscense for it. I told the woman I was at the pier park build a bear last night and they had one available, the woman I spoke to on the phone in Destin told me UM no I don’t think so “thanks” and hung up the phone on me fast. I won’t be giving my business to this location at all. I went back to pier park and picked up the last grinch they had because my daughter has been begging for one. I will be contacting corprate in regards to the woman who was rude to me over the phone and filling a a complaint.

First time ever here and we had a ball..

I understand the need to social distance but we waited over an hour to enter and almost the same to stuff. Only 1 employee stuffing as a trainee while 4 other employees are standing waiting. Only 1 person can enter check out at a time so this seems unnecessary when another could be at the other station helping move things forward.

My daughters 3 year old birthday bear(she got a dinosaur) and everyone was very friendly and welcoming.

One lady in the location was very nice and kind. The other who checked us out was not. I showed her the attached coupon which is located on their website. She would not allow me to use it as she said it wasnt valid until tomorrow. I understand that entirely... But it shouldnt be in your website then. In addition, her attitude was unbecoming, harsh and rude. If I owned or managed the store she wouldnt be working there. Aside from that experience build a bear is always fun for my daughter.

First time going to Build A Bear. My 6 y/o really enjoyed the whole experience. Friendly staff and great service. My only complaint would be we need one closer to where we live.

Once you get past the door guard/employee it was a great experience. She comes across really rude. Actually had our daughter (7) scared to go in. Everyone else was awesome and really made the experience fantastic. We have been to this location several times and will continue going.

OMGoodness!!! We have never been into one of these before!!!! It was SUCH a fantastic and fun experience. All 3 of my kids loved it. Even the Hubby had fun. Kinda on the pricey side, but not so bad that I would never go back. Definitely worth a go at least once.

Jess is wonderful!!! My daughters had the sweetest time picking and dressing their teddybears.She was patient and took time to show us different options and accessories.My girls had fun and me too! Thank you for this moment and memories ! So much needed in the times we live in!

My kids love this place and I honestly do too. The stuffed animals here are super cute and they usually have some sort of sale going on. Weve been to 2 birthday parties here and hosted one as well, they are great with keeping the kids entertained and they do pretty much all the work. Highly recommend!

Took my son to get a build-a-bear during vacation. They’re limiting capacity, but are extremely slow in the process. The staff seemed very unmotivated and didn’t make it run due to the circumstances. I wouldn’t go back to this particular one to get anything after that experience.

Excellent staff! They are always so friendly and helpful, and you can tell that they really love children. We are never disappointed. Even after waiting in line for 7 hours on pay your age day, we had a blast. Just a warning, popular items are often out of stock but thats to be expected in a touristy area. However those items are quickly back in stock. You just have to be beat the visitors there. But this is pretty typical for any store in a vacation hot spot. We are here more often than I would like to admit, and my children are always happy when they leave even when they dont find the build a bear they intended on taking home. We were here today for a certain new friend and left with a different equally awesome friend, and the lovely staff stitched up our dinosaurs broken foot and added a sound to another friend that wasnt released until recently. This is the best build a bear location we have shopped at, and we move a lot. Thank you for another lovely memory, Build A Bear Destin!

Limiting people in the store. Slow moving at that. If you limit you need to speed to the process. We waited 45 minutes while families inside took their sweet time. Don’t bother with this location. Half of the things were out of stock too

Kids love this place.

Have been wanting to get my daughters April birthday bear since Covid shut things down. My local store is still closed so I thought that since it was all one company it wouldnt matter that we were out of state. Rude employee told me they dont do that and turned us away. We would have bought more than just that bear so it surprised me that they turn away business. Oh well....

Decent experience with nice staff at this Build-A-Bear, but everything there takes forever. Stuffing the bear was a 10 minute experience, checking out was a 10 minutes experience. Add waiting in line and we spent over 40 minutes in there with only two people in front of us. Everything could be ran a little more efficient. Plan to give yourself at least an hour in the store.

My daughter loved this location. The staff was friendly and fun. She picked the Hide and Seek Bunny. Absolutely loves it because the sounds it makes when you play hide and seek. It will chirp and make other cute sounds until you pick it up and hug it. The entire visit process took a little over 45 minutes. Which seemed to fly by with the fun my daughter was having.

Love the experience, but seemed like they were understaffed the day we went. We waited in line to stuff the animals for at least 30 minutes. Maybe because of the holidays they didnt have enough employees, but little kids get impatient. Would have been a better experience if they were fully staffed.

Saturday 7-25-2020 waited outside, in line in the sweltering heat because policy of max 15 people inside because covid. We were gonna buy 2 bears, we had our 3 year old grandson crying to go inside, manager let 5 people out of store and wouldnt let us in, wife questioned her and she said they were at max capacity, but we counted 10 inside. We left, and so did 2 other families. The place is being run by children. Wont be back.

Very rude employee my child and me and wife and grandparents went to this store and were buying a bear and was told by Lori that we needed to move out of the way and get in line that we were already in. She was rude she was not only rude to us she was rude to everyone in the store. Emailed customer service but no return call or email guess this company does not care how they employees treat customers.

Visited the day BEFORE the big build a bear and pay according to your age event to acquire a bear for a special little girl with physical and mental challenges. Staff was very attentive to son and daughter in love in helping to give life and love to Carmen the bear! Thanks so much! Carmens new mom loves her very much!

This place is awesome. They had everything you can imagine, so many different choices it was hard to choose!!! Fun relaxed environment for the kiddos! They employees are exceptional and very good with children! Went to a friends daughters birthday party here for 8 year olds and they had so.much.fun. I fully recommend the birthday packages and doing partys here! I cannot wait to take my other children and come back! I will probably end up getting one too lol 😜😍

Prices are insanely expensive. We left and ordered 7 stuffed animals on Amazon for the same price as just one of these. The staff was great which is the only reason it has two stars. If it was just based on the product itd have zero stars. Who the heck can afford $60 for a darn stuffed animal.

I have never written any type of review, please take this seriously. After waiting 45 minutes with 2 children, we got in line. I payed for my son using his coupon on my bonus account. My husband had a printed coupon given to us from his sister with her account. As he went to pay for his transaction, the manager asked me if we were from the same household. I explained his sister gave us this coupon, I had all her information, but she would not let us use our coupon because the bonus member was not present. I was being honest, the manager was not willing to work with me or call my sister to verify her coupon information. If my daughter hadn’t stuffed a bear, I would have walked out. My sister couldn’t make it out tonight, I wasn’t lying. On the coupon it does not mention anything about the bonus member being present. All in all, work with your customer.

Build- A - Bear is amazing! This is a must if you have never made your own stuffed friend! So much fun for kids and adults!

Very rude employee had to tell him multiple times that i just wanted to purchase the two stuffed animals picked out. The sales rep kept asking if I wanted this or that and had to continue to repeat no just the stuff animals. I guess he was thinking money was an issue so he asked if I wanted the boxes or sacks as they both were free. OMG I about lost it, then after he rang me up and I paid he started asking if I wanted to make a birth certificate etc. Really dude? I called to talk with the store manager was told she would be in later, asked around what time girl said just later, then asked for district manager name and phone number was told she couldnt give that information out. Seriously its not rocket science if a customer tells you they only want the stuffed animals there is no need to continue to try and sell other items. I get its probably their job but how many times do you have to tell them NO?

Me and my boyfriend went here because I had a birthday coupon. I picked what I wanted to build and had to wait forever for a worker. Then she came over and was so unfriendly. I know Im not a child but I was still a customer. After waiting for her to come over she started stuffing it and it was limp when she took it off and I told her to put more in it. She acted like it was killing her. She didnt pull the thread right so we had to wait for her to come back out. While we were waiting my boyfriend stuck his hand in some stuffing that was sitting around. She saw and jumped all over us saying she could get in alot of trouble. The lid to the container was not on it. We didnt remove it. Any kid would stick their hand in something like that. After all of that we get in line and then a few people line up behind us and she still hasnt came to the register. She decides she wants to put the stuffing in the machine and by then about 6 people are wanting to check out. When she finally comes she is in a rush and I show her my coupon and says she used it. When we got home I looked at the receipt and she didnt. Her name was Liza. I have had pleasant experiences here in the past with other workers but if she is there I would suggest leaving.

Build a bear, Pay a fare. What a RIP off. Have the little kids fooled that they are building a free bear,but when your finished you have a $500 bear. The hell wit build a bear.

Ordered a Winnie the Pooh bear to arrive before christmas. Took my Money and sent me some random purple bear and then they cant fullfill my actual order...will not buy from them again.

I am extremely displeased with this store and company. Staff Angela and Shannonbwere very argumentative and unfriendly. Customer support was also unfriendly and unhelpful and accused us of lying. I will not be giving any money to them. Not family friendly. My kids were very upset.Update. The store called security on us. I was very upset but all i had done was ask for them to print or show me the policy they were quoting. I ask for the managers info which they refused to give me.

My 4 year old and I felt moved through this store like a herd of cattle. Rude employees who have completely taken away the complete Build a Bear Experience my family and I used to love. Will not be returning.

The lady who helped us stuff the bears was very friendly. However the cashier was rude, snappy, with a flippant attitude. We spent a large amount of money here to be treated the way we were. Ruined the whole experience and left a bad memory attached to what shouldve been a wonderul experience with our kids. We will never return here.

Very rude employee! She snapped and yelled at my 2 year old for being curious and standing too close to the stuffing machine. She wasnt touching anything or hurting anyone, but wasnt standing behind the red sign that says line starts here. If you dont have patience with kids then dont work at a kid friendly place!! She ruined the experience for my little one after driving nearly 2 hours to get there. Ive never written a review before, but felt I needed to warn others.

Poor service for the high end area. I went to get my one year old nephew a bear and do the whole birthday thing and the ladys where very rude said they didnt have any and didnt do any of the things they say they do for birthdays.
