I have been living in Detroit for 6 years and absolutely love the Harbortown Market. I can do my big shop for the month, or just hop in and grab whatever I need for the night. I love to eat fruits and vegetables and their produce is always stocked and fresh. I go here for beer and wine and any last minute items when guests arrive at my home, unannounced. While the food is awesome and the shelves are stocked, even during the wildest times of COVID-19, it is the staff that makes this a community market. I’ve gotten compliments from the people ringing me up, assistance from people stocking the shelves, help bringing my bags to the car, and even some great jokes from the good looking brothers behind the liquor counter. I feel so fortunate that the Harbortown Market is so close because they welcome everyone in like family, as a place located in the heart of Detroit should. Everyone is welcomed with a smile and leaves feeling good about what they are about to eat and their positive experience while in-store. Come and shop! You won’t be disappointed.

This is such a nice store. Staff is Top notch. The customer service manager is so friendly, always has a smile on his face, always so personable, and always takes the time to answer any questions i have. They also have a great liquor selection and a wide variety of cool liquors, as well as the best prices around

I love Harbortown Market. Very clean and lit up with a lot of products you have never seen. I love the variety. Their already prepared hot and cold food really help make a meal so you dont have to cook. They have a great supply of fresh fruit and vegetables, also a large cheese section, Meats, baked goods, desserts, and snacks. I love them having an assortment of flowers to buy. Great staff!!!

Very unprofessional and rude. Produce has been spoiled a few times in my visit there. The management looks down on customers and feels that just because you spent a certain amount of money they have the right to be disrespectful!

I love this place. I asked the girl that worked there. Do you have to take a nice test to work here. Because everyone is so nice!

Owner is on site much of the time. They will special order most anything you want. Great prepared food section, wine selection and excellent produce. A touch pricier than other stores but they arent just taking the money and running. They want to run a store you want to come to. Been going for 30 years and will continue even tho another big box market has opened in Rivertown.

Great Neighborhood Market! They offer a wide variety of fresh produce and vaked goods. As well as an excellent selection of prepared meals. The staff is friendly and helpful.

They have a great selection of beer and wine. Nice clean store. One of my favorite stores in town.

The Harbortown Market Rite Aid has very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. The store layout made it easy to find exactly what I was looking for. And check out was a breeze. 😁

This market is okay if nothing else is available.Prices are too high but I understand its a small establishment.I only go there to pick up a thing or two because I can walk there from my apartment.The customer service is mostly good though. The staff is always helpful and friendly.If the old lady is on the register count your change. Ive been shorted too many times to be an accident unless she cant count.I think she might be one of the owners.I will say that they seem to try to be a good place.

Love it! Great options that you cant find anywhere else. I have been going there for years especially when i lived in that neighborhood. I still go out of my way to shop there. They also have a kitchen that prepares hot food which is delicious!

Harbor town Market is clean, has an extensive selection of food, flowers and almost everything you could want! All the staff members are friendly, professional and always willing to help. Everyone is Great!!

Convenient location with fresh produce, reasonable prices, all basic grocery needs, although limited selection of brands compared to larger markets. Makes up with an excellent selection of beer (limited release micro brews), wine, and liquor (Blanton’s, Lagavulin).

I love buying ice there lowest prices in the city.

This place is over rated and honestly go next door to Rite Aide and get your wine, youll save 20 bucks at least! But If you like different cheeses they have that much.

Always has what I need. Decent imported beer selection. Didnt notice there were two different types of beer (same brand) in the 6-pack I bought, but it worked out since my beer drinker liked both.

This thing used to be my go-to place for wine when I would visit downtown however the selection looks like its getting a little slim perhaps Ill have to go back to my grosse pointe location but the staff is always nice and wonderful and everything is always clean

The deli area make the best fried chicken this side of the Mason Dixie Line. Friendly staff, excellent cashiers and a great selection of non alcoholic beers that taste great and locally made products. Good spot

Have a different type of selection of foods as well as the usual. Very nice store clean well stocked safe.

Stopped by Rite Aid. Employees were helpful and check out was fast. Not crowded and everyone wore a mask.

I shop here often. In fact, we append a lot of money here. However, Harbortowm Market will no longer have my business. The customer service is terrible. I was in one evening right before closing time (8:00 p.m.). The staff rushed me out at 7:56 when I only needed to purchase one item. Needless to say, they have lost my business. When I called to talk to a manger, I was hung up on. Anticipating Meijer arriving on Jefferson.

They have cooked food and they hook you up with dinners, pints or medium containers large as well. Today I ordered a cabbage and cornbread salad, with 8 wing dings and.a slice of cornbread. Wow it was delicious, need to check this market out, they also have a large variety of other foods, beer, wine and groceries. Lottery its a great get away place, from there. I went down by the river and ate my meal check its a must do!

This is my neighborhood market and I get my meat every week from the butcher there. But what I love the most are the cookies the Nikki bakes. They are soft and chewy. Absolutely delicious. I am so glad that this store is in my neighborhood ! ❤️

Just a smalle mall that have different stores around it

The prices are higher than most grocery stores but the food is higher quality. Youll find a lot of niche items. For example, they probably sale jarred olives you wouldnt find at a traditional store. The deli section is exclusively Boars Head. My biggest complaint is the produce section. Sometimes items sit too long. They have some of the cheapest liquor prices in town.
