Clean location, fast service with a drive thru!! They offer only hot dogs and are open 12-11 every day! Soft serve ice cream and blizzards/shakes/malts/smoothies and slushees

EVERY time I try to give THIS location a chance, they screw it up. For some reason chocolate xtreme brownie blizzards dont taste the same as other locations. I was given the wrong order in the past, which is when I learned to remove the cap before driving home.Today the wait time was very long even though there were only 3 cars ahead of me. When I got to the window i was told there were no brownie CHUNKS for the brownie batter blizzard i ordered (instead of my usu chocolate xtreme bc of the taste). I asked if chocolate chips were available instead. That was the only substitution i asked for since that was the only ingredient i was told they didnt have. I was given what appeared to be vanilla soft serve w/ chocolate chips!

Dairy treats are good. Ive only had one concern and management was great about fixing it.

I went to this location just yesterday an ordered the thin mint blizzard but requested m&m to be added in the mix. I was super pleased with the mix and ice cream until I got to halfway point. The rest of my blizzard was vanilla ice cream with m&m 😣 I was so sad because I don’t like vanilla ice cream so the rest of my blizzard went to waste

A true banana split I did not get. My money worth. Chocolate syrup teaspoon, three pieces pineapple and three strawberries. The ice cream amount was half of a servicing spoon. Be careful when asking for condiments for hot dog. I got home and found out I had none. My fault for not checking the hot dog.

Horrrrrrrible experience. They do more talking and eating the food then making the customers stuff. Currently watching one eat a chili dog while I wait 15 mins for a few smoothies…

Refused to service me based on the fact that my friend was a door dasher. Very bad attitudes, very rude staff, super rude manager named aj.. definitely won’t be coming back.

Didnt get a receipt....and I read that if my blizzard wasnt served upside down next one free. I have no way to complain

Pros: fast. Orders are always correct. Diverse menu offeringsCons: staff hurries the customers. Napkins & condiments are often forgotten.

Business was clean with Covid protocols in place. Service great. Only disappointed no rewards or specials on the Non-Dairy Ice Cream bars.

Well you cant really get ice cream wrong but this restaurant has managed almost to do so. All the staff where young people and as a native detroiter I love to see young people at work but there has to be boundaries. I arrived and instead of going through the drive-thru I used the walk-up window. The music was so loud that the cashier could not hear my order. Instead of cutting the music down she asked me to speak up because shecouldnt hear.Not only was the music loud but it was also profane. Since I had a lengthy order I went to sit in the car I came back to check on the order and when I asked about the order the cashiers response was what about it??. This behavior is unacceptable and wont get you far. These young ladies need polishing. Hopefully this can be corrected but for now I do not recommend.

Hot weather expect long lines although moved quickly. Or maybe it had to do with what customers ordered. Liked selection of concoctions

Not many good interaction with this location. Ive had the change be off by a significant amount once, and another time I had gotten three blizzards that all were just the base ice cream (not mixed properly) at the bottom. Havent gone sense, and that was a few months ago

After placing order in drive through only to be told they dont except Dairy Queen gift cards I purchased at Best buy, then I pay only to receive my blizzard without a lid,why did she turn it upside down, second order strawberry shake she turns that upside down then comes to the window with whip cream, Ive been going for over 20 yrs.service has truly changed

Drive thru only. Service is poor. They move very slow. Dont seem interested in getting the line down quick. I got to The drive-thru at 4:08 p.m. I ordered at 4:31 p.m. when I got to the window I had to wait more time when the order should be bagged and ready to go😔 I picked up my order at 4:42. My Blizzard would have been excellent if it wasnt melted. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. I personally will go to the Farmington location on Middlebelt where the service is faster,friendlier and better.

I always order a Royal New York cheesecake and I almost never get any cheesecake in mine and very little strawberries. Almost just plain vanilla ice cream.

The place that makes me smile. Sometimes theyre open during late winter!! If I can drive by and get a caramel pecan blizzard at any time. IM GONNA DO IT!! 😆

I really like ordering from here, but my order is made differently every time and I just wish I could get the correct item at least MOST of the time.. I always order an Oreo cheesecake blizzard and sometimes I get things with nuts in them, sometimes I get no toppings in the bottom 3/4 of it, sometimes I don’t get any cheesecake at all, sometimes the ice cream is chocolate, sometimes it’s vanilla... I don’t understand why I receive a different item each time. Working in food service I understand that things happen, but in my case I still don’t know how the Oreo Cheesecake Blizzard is supposed to be made.. because it’s different every time. Consistency is very important to a consumer, maybe this should be looked into. Thank you!

This is Our Location we go to all the time. And No Matter What time we Come. The STAFF Is ALWAYS POLITE AND FAST. TODAY I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH THE YOUNG LADY THAT TOOK MY LARGE ORDER. SHE WAS EXCELLENT! AND SHE DID IT WITH A SMILE❤

So I was just at this location to be told after standing at window 3 minutes with the employees talking back and forth without acknowledging me that they were closed. I asked before 10. Then was told no they aren’t closed till 10 so then I said I would like 2 blizzards. She told me then I could get a cone or sundae cause they close in 2 minutes. I left with nothing and will never come to this location again.

I ordered 2 Large Strawberry Blizzards both with extra toppings. (1-Extra cheesecake and 1- extra Strawberry and Cheesecake) Charged $12.02, but when I got them, one had 3 strawberries and pieces that would constitute another Strawberry, the other one had clumps of what I believe to be cheesecake and an over abundance of strawberries, oh did I mention there was little cheesecake in the first one) Please help me understand how I pay for extra and still dont get it?

Skimpy Blizzard, it wasnt even full to the top of the cup. I had a small with 2 toppings and they were unfriendly. It was not worth the $5 I paid. I wont be back.

Slowest place on this planet. If youre in a rush for ice cream this place is one to avoid. Waited 48minutes for three items on a monday at 1:30pm. I will never come back here again

My favorite DQ. I always get a malt with an extra shot of malt. Strawberry is really good but the chocolate is divine.

The workers were Awesome however our slush tasted odd as if the ice machine had never been cleaned... My ice cream was super good... Im giving this place 2 stars due to the issue with the slush and the fact that they do not sell burgers!!! The workers get a 5 star

Horrible service. They have a bunch of people in there that are unprofessional and disrespectful. They have loud offensive rap music playing. I walked up with my children and felt so uncomfortable. I would definitely not recommend going to this dairy queen. I could say a whole lot more but whats the point..

Id give this place a half star if I could. The service is terrible. You can tell the staff members HATE their job, and dont want to be working there. I didnt get greeted at all--stood around for a few minutes--and had to knock on the window outside in order to get serviced. Its the small things. I say thank you, I dont hear youre welcome. The blizzards I ordered were 3/4 cups full. Just an overall bad experience. If this is your neighborhood DQ, I would highly recommend to avoid this place and make the 5 minute extra trip over to the DQ on Middlebelt in F Hills.

Worse DQ ever. Everytime we go service is slow, and they are always out of certain things. Last time we ordered blizzards they were not mixed and had different chunks of something we didnt even order! Nasty. Dont waste your time. Go to the one in farmington.

I love Dairy Queen but this location seems to always get my order wrong, I like going there cause itsnot that far,but this has happened twice now. I dont know what the problem is but the workers seem not to hear correctly, very disappointing this evening.😡😡 Workers need to Listen and Learn how to make items on menu correctly.

Consistency is good for business. The first time I ordered a peanut buster parfait, I requested all three layers as caramel and was accommodated with no problem. This time, I requested the bottom two layers as caramel and the top as chocolate. I was was given two layers of toppings and charged for extra caramel! Not satisfied with my visit.

Came here on Sunday - May 3, 2020, stopped by because I wanted a cheesecake blizzard. Brought a large with extra chessecake added. Came home put it in freezer until after dinner. That night I began to eat it and about 4-5 spoons into it I noticed that I wasn’t getting any chessecake. I spooned down into the blizzard. Guess what No More Cheesecake! How is that possible? I order extra on top of what already came with the blizzard. They played me real close! I was so maaaaaddd! So checked your items if you order an item with cheesecake, cookies, etc.. If I decide to go back, I’ll be checking my stuff before I pull off from the window.

This location has gone down since the other lady owned it. The wait time is always ridiculous. Once I got home and opened our icecream, both blizzards were wrong. There are a bunch of kids working there and the cashier at the drive thru didnt have a mask on. I will go back to my favorite location on middlebelt and 9 mile.

New owners guess the lady that owned it before retired . there prices are high and short staffed, i go down seven mile before inkster bigger and cheaper goodies.

Close to home, drive-thru, good service and if u go at 8p or after pretty decent prices! The 2 for $4.00 was perfect! I had a strawberry sundae and hubby had a medium twist cone dipped in chocolate ... both were amazingly good! We had planned on eating in the car but the crowd got to be a bit much so we left, so much for date night! But all-n-all, not bad

I love the strawberry cheesecake blizzards! They have an inside area and a drive thru, very convenient. Always great customer service when I go there!

The blizzards were just right and they were made quickly once we were able to order. However, we had to wait quite a while to order and there weren’t many people outside as we were or in line for drive through. But most importantly, the clerk was seriously lacking in common courtesy and manners, bordering on almost being rude. So three stars is the best I can give for this location. A little bit of manners and courtesy can really go a long way...

I will never go anywhere else, tried bask in Robbins for a change and it was so bad, love Dairy Queen and love this location please stay open all year

We live in Troy but we were in the area so decided to stop by and treat ourselves to something sweet, the Oreo blizzard is beyond amazing and they were a little busy but everything was perfect, definitely recommended this place! Only problem is no burgers

I love that it has a drive-thru. It was pretty crowded and it took at least 15 minutes. They dont carry waffle cones or cherries anymore. The ice cream was really good, even though they kinda messed up our banana split order. Not bad overall.

Apparently they are now closing a hour and a half early now.... And was rude telling me that they were closed at 9:30.

I didnt get the chocolate shake I wanted because they told me they didnt have any shakes. So I left.

Got 4 blizzards for $20 and none of the added ingredients to the ice cream went deeper than an inch. Im pretty pissed. Never have i had a bad experience with dairy Queen until i tried this one. Its an outrage. Girl at the window was nice even tho she took my order wrong and tried adding items to it. If you want your moneys worth avoid this DQ.

The staff was gracious enough but my blizzard came up short. I ordered a banana strawberry and I believe I found 3 pieces of banana and 2 strawberries SMH. The vanilla ice cream didnt even get pink in the mix process, really disappointed for $5.

It was just ok. I mean, the snickerdoodle blizzard I had was delicious, but staff was just ok and there wasnt really anywhere to sit. We walked quite a ways and wanted to sit and eat my blizzard, but I had to keep on walking

Love Vanilla dipped in Cherry. Love drive thru. Cones are often slanted though...

For every experience Ive had the staff is always pleasant and the banana split is always superb!
