Charming place but the staff is a little too intrusive. They approached me and a friend four times while we were looking at the products and interrupted our conversation about personal topics continuously. The store is beautiful with a lot of great quality products but I dont like feeling obligated to engage with sales reps during my full shopping experience. My friend has a duffle from here and she loves it.

Nice array of small leather goods ie. purses, wallets to a leather bound journals, even belts that you can choose your own buckle . The larger items range from leather or thick canvas weekend bags to toiletry bags. People are friendly, knowledgeable of their product and they have the best cafe right inside! Only serves some delisious coffees for that quick pick-me-up!

Amazing store that smells like fresh leather every time I walk in. I love the lifetime warranty and so far pleased that I havent needed to use it. The coffee shop is delicious and there isnt a latte I wouldnt drink.

They have some really good quality leather goods. Everything in the store has a price on it, literally. The owner seems to have a thing for antiques, it really makes the store look unique. I purchased my dad a belt from here when they were having a sale. My dad really seem to be satisfied with the belt he has now and he think its a very good quality.

Was enjoying my first visit and a good cup of coffee. Until an employee brought his puppy in (not allowed in food service establishment, dude) then proceeded to serve a beverage without washing his hands. Then gave me attitude when I told him to wash.And dont tell me the health inspector was okay with it. Im not stupid.Hipsters - this isnt Paris. Dogs are not allowed inside restaurants or grocery stores.

Fun leather store. Bags, belts, hats, covers. Most weekends they have a flash sale, anything with a blue trash is discounted. Also had a great coffee shop. I would recommend to check out this location. The workers were very knowledgeable about the product.

Nice place with a great store. Merchandise is competitively priced. Very unique and coffee is tasty. If you purchase bags from Walmart then this might not be your cup of tea, but if you enjoy finely made products then this is the place. Only downside is that its not all made in the USA.

Very laid back store for the caliber of products. Hipster-esque vibe but the worker was very knowledgeable. My boyfriend had been looking for a small wallet for going out & found it here. They even offer personalized engraving on any of these handmade item you choose, for free. It also comes with a lifetime warranty.As we walked around the shop, we were greeted by a little puppy who just wanted to play with his little ball. Theres also a nice coffee shop inside. Overall, this doesnt seem like just a high end leather store, but a quaint place to relax as well.

I visited this high-end leather boutique for an event. Its got a great feel inside and (of course) very high quality leather goods of all kinds, including odd sports equipment. I purchased a canvas and leather duffel bag. They neglected to tell me they offer free monogramming. If I lived really far away, Id be more than a little disappointed about that. Theres a small cafe inside and a cool area upstairs dedicated to hats. Everything (I think) comes with a lifetime warranty.

Totally love this place. Not only is Will Leather serious about leather but they are serious about their coffee. Talking with the general manager I learned he keeps a tight whip on quality control using tools of the trade and his well developed and informed knowledge of specialty coffee. With as many offerings of coffee as they have you are sure to find a coffee you will enjoy.

Over priced leather goods, jumping onto the new Detroit bandwagon. I would show them a little more love if they featured the work of Detroit leather workers, but they seem to just put their logo on whatever they globally source. The workers seem a little high strung, but the coffee bar has moderate products, if you like it bitter.

Love the smell of leather. Stopped for coffee and left with two nice backpacks. Ill be back.

Sort of a useless tourist shop. Good of you have alot of money and a need for trivial leather goods. The Coffee House coffee shop is great and the coffee there is fantastic. It is the best coffee in the area. It is located inside the shop.

I heard about Will Leather Goods while visiting friends who are former Detroits who now live in Florida. On returning to the Detroit area, they were taken to the Will Leather Goods store on 2nd Avenue. They raved about the leather goods and showed my wife and I the leather briefcase that they had purchased. Having this afternoon off, we went down for ourselves only to find not only beautifully crafted leather goods, with my wife purchasing 2 leather bags, but with me buying a hat. The sales staff was great, the owner Will Adler was gracious and the whole experience was wonderful. I strongly recommend this treasure in mid-town Detroit. If you are looking for leather goods (belts, purses, messenger bags, briefcases) or a great looking hat, do not hesitate to go give them a visit. And ask for Francina who gave us the best customer service we have had in a very long time.
