Love, love, love our new patio shade! The summer afternoon/evening sun was keeping us from enjoying our outdoor space and the folks at Signature fixed us right up! There was a COVID delay from the factory but once it came in Chris and his crew were on it! We highly recommend Signature Shutters and Shades!

I contacted this company to get an Estimate, on last week they sent a guy by the name of Jeff Malatak. I greeting him at the door and took him where I was requesting the Shutters. I have been a Pastor for 15 years I have never saw this kind of behavior. I got a very important call concerning a Homegoing service which Im responsible for overseeing for this family. I went into the house to take the call while he was suppose to be doing the estimate when I return he give me his card and flyer told me to email him and he would send over the estimates. I got no estimates called this morning to fine out the company choose not to be business with me because of me being a Black man I very upset and will be making this know everywhere as a former elected official this wont happen without it being address will be call the news later today! His response Makes no sense I call this Morning to ask about not getting a Estimate when I inform they choose not to do business with me. I had already told both people what i wanted that why there was at my home.

Professional and knowledgeable sales person. Very professional and knowledgeable measurers and installers. Receptionist and customer service is prompt and superior. There was a glitch with the paint job but no questions asked the took care of it, redid the entire paint job of shutters for 4 large windows at no extra cost to me and in record time. They completed the job sooner that promised and so far with excellent quality and always kept me updated on status. Definitely recommend.

The solar shades have already made a huge difference with the heat and sun coming into our homes west facing. Installation group did a great job. Would highly recommend this group.

We purchased shutters for our entire house. From the selection of materials, the measuring of our windows to the installation, everything was very professional. The quality was spot on. I would highly recommend them if you are in the market to improve the look of your home. Our back faces west but our shutters really protect us from the heat. And because the large windows are divided into 3 sections we don’t lose the light, just the heat & glare. I chose them because my nephew has them in their home and I’m so glad I did.

Echoing comments below Chris was extremely rude and abrupt. He did not have the professionalism to return my call. Instead he responded via text and actually stated I dont know what you else you want from me? As a physician who works with patients on a daily basis this type of response is appalling.I would not recommend their services- there are plenty of other companies who would appreciate your business and treat you with respect and not just see you as dollars.

Chris and crew installed fully retractable, remote controlled, motorized shades all around the West patio at our restaurant, The 401 Table & Tap. The shades have allowed us to keep the brutal sun out so our customers can enjoy the patio throughout the day and all year long. We also installed an AC/heating unit on the patio, and the shades do a wonderful job keeping the conditioned air from quickly escaping. Pricing was extremely competitive and the materials appear to be very high quality. We left the shades down one night when there were tropical storm force wind gusts, and the shades held up just perfectly!

Excellent experience with Chris (sales) and Kim (installation)!! I shopped the plantation shutter project for my entire home around to at least 5 vendors in Houston area. Chris was most personable, knowledgeable, and without an agenda. The price was also by far the most reasonable. Kim also proved very knowledgeable around the finer details of the product to ensure the final measurements and install were seamless when dealing with some tricky window layouts. Kim and Jose did an excellent, thorough and speedy job with the actual install. 5 STARS so pleased across the board.

We love our blinds they are awesome and the entire signature shutters team was professional and great to work with!

Our screens are fantastic, they are the focal point of our patio and the first thing everyone talks about the first time they see out patio. We have a south-west facing patio so the screens are critical to being able to enjoy the patio during the summer months. Our home backs onto a creek with a walking path so very often people that are walking by will stop to ask about the screens. We bought the screens to block the sun, so being able to close in our patio at night and keep the bugs out is just an added bonus.

We really enjoy the new shutters installation. They did a very professional job including calling ahead to inform us on the date of installation. This rating would be a 5 star but the installers did not clean up the metal shavings created from cutting the material on the patio.

We just had Signature Shutters install plantation shutters throughout our new home. Chris is very easy to work with and the shutters were installed quickly--in time for us to move into our house. I love the look of them and the paint was matched well. They look beautiful!

Signature Shutters did a very good, professional job with our automated patio shade. The project leader and workers were nice and polite people. They cleaned up after the job and gave us good instructions for operation and maintenance. We are happy with the service and can recommend them.

Chris did a great job. One side of our patio now has a retractable screen door, surrounded by fixed screen panels and includes a dog door. The other, very long and tall, side of our patio has a motorized screen. We went with fly screen rather than solar as we dont get much direct sun in the summer. We absolutely love it. The manufacturer had a couple problems and Chris was on top of them, sorting it all out. The installer, Tommy, is fantastic and a real pleasure to have around. Would definitely purchase from Chris again.

Instead of giving a bad review I was just gonna send this message 6/19 via text to the person I thought was the owner, Chris, but when I said numerous times that I wanted to speak with the owner (to make sure I got the right persons number), the guy didnt want to tell me if he was the owner or not and literally told me he wasnt interested, obviously didnt want to hear anything I had to say, what a terrible way to conduct business. (Picture attached) So Ill just give the review according to my bad experience.Message to the owner:I think you were very rude and unprofessional when you told me over the phone that my request was too of a small job for you and that you wouldnt do an estimate in our house until we were ready to buy and that your services werent the cheapest ones.Number one, I dont know what made you think I was looking for the cheapest company. Number two, for the owner of a company theres never too of a small job my husband is a Doctor and he has his own physical medicine practice, he would never ever turn a patient down just because they have too of a small pain and he would never treat them like they are wasting his time and like they dont matter because they have too of a small pain, he still would do a free consultation and find out if theres something wrong or not because he has a commitment with them and he loves what he does.Number three, money is not an issue, although I told you Im getting different estimates, that doesnt mean we are looking for the cheapest and crappiest place and products. We just bought a new home in a very nice neighborhood and we are still not sure if we want wood blinds, shutters or roman shades and thats why I wanted an in home consultation and estimate (like other companies offer).I even told you the wrong number of windows because we just closed on our new home last Friday and we still dont live in there, I forgot for a minute that it wasnt 12 windows what we have, it is 16 plus a door! and the estimated I got from other company was no where close to $800 (what you told me over the phone) it is in between $6500-$3500 depending on what we want, so obviously you way underestimated a possible future client with your nasty rude and unprofessional attitude. But Im sure that would still be too of a small job for you anyways.Disappointed

Im very happy with my outdoor blinds. It was a tricky installation, but they worked with me to find a solution. The sales and installers were all very pleasant to work with.

The installation team of Signature Shutters came out last week to install Shutters throughout my home. They arrived on time and were careful not to damage the walls when bringing the shutters into the house. Chris really did a great job in making the process effortless. He gave an accurate lead time for the install date of the shutters and the price for everything was more than fair. I even asked to make changes on the shutters after signing the contract agreement and Chris was very accommodating. The only complaint I have is that the install crew did not clean up all of the debris below the shutters before they left, but this would not deter me from using them again or recommending them. Overall very satisfied.

I had 3 companies come out and Signature Shutters of Houston was by far the cheapest and also the quickest to put shutters on throughout our whole house. Chris met me at our new home, took measurements and told me about their product. I like the fact that the shutters are made here in Texas and I was told that if we moved in before the shutters got installed, then they would put up temporary blinds so we could have some privacy. Once I decided to go with Signature Shutters of Houston, another man came out and took exact measurements. 4 weeks later I got a phone call that they were coming to delivery my shutters between a certain time frame. The installers did a great job. One shutter on a door didnt fit properly because of the door handle. They took it back to the warehouse and came back about a week later to install that one without any problems. I LOVE my shutters.

While signature shutters wasnt the cheapest per sqft, he was the most fair in measurements. Other vendors quoted low price per sqft and overestimated the measurements. Overall signature shutters came out to be the lowest quote, offerred great communication and ontime delivery in 4 weeks for wooden shutters
