I will never go to this story again. I got a slice of meatloaf at the deli, when I received it I noticed that there was no catsup on it.I said to the girl yesterday, wheres the catsup?She said on the bottom! I said are you sure? Because I dont have any catsup at home. She said its on the bottom.Well she lied! First of all I have NEVER had my meatloaf served to me this way at Byron, and they dont lie. So even though it is out of the way for me to travel all the way there, I guarantee you that I will NOT return to the deli department in Dixon ever. This goes right in the garbage, what a waste of my time, money and excitement for the dish.

I like this place a lot. Its definitely my preferred grocery store in town. They have a nice selection and the staff is very friendly and nice. I go later in the evenings when there is less of a crowd and its always a relaxing experience.

Nice grocery store. Deli serves some of the best non home made chicken around, when the strips are on sale its well worth picking up a box full. Meat is pretty good but for the best meat go to the behind the glass area. Prices are a bit on the high side but you expect that at a full grocery store. Their sales are usually a great bargain.

Only place i can ever find Indian Summer apple cider, all year round. (A must for making apple pi((alcohol)) employees were friendly and helpful. Meat is a bit pricey, but the quality is excellent.

Good store sales all the time

I was there yesterday to get a few things. Hamburger was $5.49 a pound! When I asked a clerk if that price was correct, she told me it was because of the holiday or shortages in beef. Really? I put back everything that went with making tacos.

Recently moved to area and found this as my favorite grocery store. Until yesterday. Cashier had a mask on but not the bagger and she was sneezing! I called and was rudely told that she was already gone for the day. Also girl collecting carts outside was taking garbage from carts and dropping on the ground. Wont be back

I got a turkey breast that was already cooked and upon opening the container at home discovered it had Melted PLASTIC on it and it didnt even resemble that section of turkey either. I went back to return it and they said they couldnt give me a refund so no turkey to eat plus a waste of my money and time! 😡

This grocery stor is the greatest. Very clean, nice variety, they bag your groceries, and have nice penny pincher sales.Only I thought the meat price was kinda high. Esp. when you have to buy it not on sale.

This store is employee owned. And is the best place in Dixon IL to obtain your meat. They all ways have fresh produce. They have a decent size organic section. They have a bakery department and a specialty section. In their fresh meats section they offer Chesters Chicken. in my opinion is comparable to KFC if not better. The staff is always friendly and never hard to find one if needed.

Shopping here can be frustrating. The prices of items are often inaccurate. They do not mark things properly and fail to remove signage after sales end.

They treat their employees poorly and also told them they won’t provide masks for them but if they come to work without one they can’t work. They have good products but the managers suck and they’re too pricey.

They are a little pricey, but not much more, especially if you shop specials. I like that they carry things not normally found. They have tons of baked goods, a really nice deli selection, and friendly employees. I wish Oregon had a County Market.

This is a great place to go if youre looking for me. Theyre red meat selection in the back is pretty decent for the area, they also have a great selection of twice baked potatoes that go well. I would have to say this is the second best place to purchase me but for the sake of this Google review and not throwing it completely out there definitely the second best place

Have never gotten a bad piece of fresh fish here. Better quality produce, baked goods and there are actual people to help and advise in the butcher section.

This is by far my favorite grocery store to shop at in Dixon. Friendly staff, great produce, great meat selection. The store is always well kept and easy to navigate.

I was very dissapointed when the cashier checking me out did not have her mask covering her nose. She was wearing it improperly.

Stocking Tysons Chicken big mistake. Their chicken products are water sprayed and frozen for shipping. Example: Buy chicken gizzards paying attention to the pricing on the label and the weight. Take out all the contents of the package and then weigh the package including the pad. Yep. You are paying a lot of money for the pad which is water soaked at the packaging plant. Comparing County Markets former chicken to Tysons. When cooked in water, Tysons leg and thigh parts shrink to less than 1/2 the original size. The former chicken shrink some, but not nearly the amount of Tysons chicken. The Tysons chicken is tuff compared to the former chicken. I attempted to explain my findings to the store manager. Response: who cares.

They almost always have what I am looking for. Tremendous produce department. The same goes for the hot deli and bakery.

I went shopping to help my grandpa who has a pace maker and everything else wrong with him. We went to the express lane bc they were super busy with 2 lanes open. The cashier turned my grandpa away because he had more than 8 items. He had maybe 15 items and again they were swamped! So my grandpa and I had to go stand in line for over 15 min!! His back was hurting him so bad. Im very disappointed in their compassion for a senior citizen.

Employees are not the friendliest and prices are high $9 for a case of soda save your money and go to Walmart and pay $7 instead if the employees were nicer and prices werent so high even just a little less Im sure they would get more business

County Market always has good deals on food. They are more expensive than Walmart or Aldi especially when it comes to milk, but they make up for it all in quality. Their cakes and donuts are superior in taste to Walmarts, and they have more variety of food than Aldi. With their Penny Saver coupons Ive seen people save a lot of money at check out. Proud to be a cashier at County Market!

This is one OF ONLY TWO places in Illinois where you can get identification verification to set up as a new Comed customer!! Fast and friendly!! Didnt even know this was a thing until my 18 year old moved out and needed to become a new Comed customer. Without a viable credit history, this is the only way to get Comed in your name!!!
