Fantastic experience. I buy 2-3 vehicles per year for our company, many of them out of town/state and this has to be one of the top buying experiences Ive had ever. I was looking for a specific model and color combo, and found 4 similar cars across the country. MB of Dothans pricing was aggressive compared to the other vehicles, and my trade-in was fair. This dealership is the worst. Going from being told to take my car to a jiffy lube to see if it has oil after having my first oil change done on the care baffles me. A 2021 at that. Then after having my car for over a week, it was returned to me with less than a quart tank of gas whereas the sensible person I am, i filled their loaner up and returned it with more gas then I received it with. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a Mercedes dealership. I’m telling everyone I know not to do business here. Especially the service department

If you are looking for a place to have your Mercedes fixed within a timely manner, provided with efficient communication, than I would highly suggest looking for an alternative auto mechanic.Our Mercedes has been in this shop for nearly two months to no avail. Fortunately we have a second vehicle to use as a mode of transportation while our Mercedes sat in this lot, unfixed and unaware of our wait on when it would or could be repaired.Our experience was not only disappointing, but extremely frustrating and inconvenient.

Worst customer service I have experienced. I had to chase the woman (Jill) down to schedule my vehicle for servicing for two weeks. I live over an hour away from this dealer and requested a curtesy car to drive around town; because I was told that my car would take 5 hours to service. I was told curtesy cars were booking out 5 weeks, but I could rent a car from them. Which was approximately $60/day. When I arrived to drop off my car the lady behind the desk was extremely rude; I am not sure if this was Jill or not. There were other staff sitting there and no one offered to help. Tommy (my service contact), finally checked me in, took my car and said I would be contacted as soon as it was done. I dropped my car off at 9am, around 230; I had still not heard anything and drove back to the dealer. I was again greeted by the same rude woman, and told to wait because she was not handling my car, and Tommy was on a break, but she would go ask the service tech. The service tech came out and stated my car had been ready since before lunch and Tommy had my paperwork and knew my vehicle was done, but never bothered to call me. I own a Mercedes and I expect a certain level of care. My first servicing was done at Mercedes of Tampa and they went above and beyond to provide excellent service. I would also think that working in a Mercedes dealer people would not be dressed in less than casual clothing and just rude. I never did get any call back from Jill who does the scheduling; I had to continue to call and leave my name until I was sick of it and someone whet and found her while I waited on hold for 20 minutes. I will NEVER go back there again. I would prefer to drive my vehicle 5 hours away to Tampa. I would NEVER purchase a vehicle from them. I am exceptionally disappointed in the customer service. Might I add that they have plenty of rental cars available for you to pay for, but cant seem to find a curtesy car for me to borrow for a few hours. I was also told by Jill that she would speak to her manager about their mobile servicing, which they advertise, but apparently dont really do, and would get back to me about the availability for that. Still waiting for that phone call.

This place is a total dishonest! I would never write a bad review until I was cheated twice from its service. I still cant believe such a big car company like Mercedes-Benz would do such a untrusted services that we experienced in both of my visits. I have a rental car from them, and I keep all the service needed and due. During my first service visit, after I dropped my car and I was not provided a courtesy vehicle to use for that day according to their contract, but I did not blame for it and understood that they have limited courtesy vehicles. Instead, they were nice enough to offer me a taxi to go home and wait as usually my car service would take hours to be done. I was waiting for taxi but impatient after waited for about 45 mins as I still got things to do with timely manner. Luckily, my husband was off, he picked me up finally. It took the whole day then got a call late evening to pick up the car. Again, I asked my husband again to drive me there to pick my car up. When I received my car, I was shock as I found about 200 mileage difference upon their return. I am a kind of person who is always accurate, pay full attention and never negligent on my stuffs. I certainly remembered the drop off mileage, but I did not have any proof to complain about it. As I was never expecting Mercedes -Benz would do such, I blamed to myself for not enough careful and trusted to big car company and I stayed silent. I shared this to my husband about this untrusty experience they gave us. Then a few months later, we had reminder for second time service due. This time I made sure my drop off mileage and took photo of my dashboard screen just prior giving them my car key. My husband even suggested me to let them know the drop off mileage but wanted not to be un-polite and assumed that wont happen again, I did not do it. After the whole day, they called me to pick up the car in late evening, again about 200 miles was used. I brought up the issue to the manager and showed him the picture that I took for drop off mileage on that morning, he said he had no idea what had happened. According to their check in paper, they had put the incorrect drop off mileage number and a couple miles difference upon returning vehicle to make it sensible. I am sure that my car was used for the day about 200 miles instead of having proper service. Both my service experience from this dealership was very dissapointing! My learning life time lesson is even a big image car company is still not trustworthy, and cant think of how much benefits they would get by doing such cheating on their customer. This is the first time ever I wrote the review in my life. I never complain about anything if it is really needed to. I would like other customers to be more careful, better to let them give you check in mileage upon your vehicle is left for service. I would do the same thing in future and learnt from my experience and also hope Mercedes -Benz could investigate and find out about dishonesty in certain level of their employees. I do hope this review will help you all and the purpose is for positive way instead of hurting the image of MB company.
My experience at Mercedes-Benz of Dothan was one that was not expected given the stigma of being a women who pulls up on a car lot without a male present. If you are a women you know the feeling of dread and potential intimidation. As I stepped out and looked at a vehicle of which I was interested I was surprisingly not approached like buzzards to a piece of roadkill.No. I looked around the lot a bit (looking over my shoulder thinking to myself, This cant be real.) and then my husband showed up. He had been working over the phone with a salesman named Adam. Because I knew what I had in mind for a vehicle it didnt take long before he obliged by joining me on a test drive. He was kind and relaxed, rather than seemingly amped on up energy drinks with a fabricated excitement to help. Adam was genuine. We engaged in conversation along the test drive and I asked questions as they came to mind. He did not overly talk the sale of the car but simply listened as I asked questions.Once arriving back at the dealership I decided to give the other car a test drive as well. This vehicle was a manual 6 speed, which I had not driven one in about 14 years. I asked him if he was sure he wanted to ride with me as I was a bit nervous. My question was met with a huge smile and the words, Lets do it! This test drive I had numerous questions at which he again answered without a slight hesitation. He continued to make me feel comfortable and not like a typical women who doesnt know cars. The way he answered my questions allowed me to ask more without feeling judgement.Upon arriving it was settled. I went with the second vehicle.I tell this story to brag not just on the dealership and the process which led to me purchasing a vehicle but also Adam as a salesman.I sincerely thank you for a wonderful experience as the very thought of having to go through the process of purchasing another car was almost debilitating to the point to where I was going to just send my husband to pick out something I might light (within parameters of course). Today I drove my new whip to work and she is everything I could have wanted and more.Thanks Adam!

Took my CPO E-400 for annual service 25 Nov 20. Took all day to complete a scheduled appointment (0845-1517). Two days later I get a Lane Assist Inoperative message. Earliest service appointment was two weeks out. Took vehicle in for scheduled appointment to fix lane assist on 15 Dec. Arrived 0830 and vehicle was not ready until 1625. Service tech said could not find anything wrong and all they did was set Lane Assist from Adaptive to Standard, eight hours to do a 30 second repair/fix/selection. Two days later, the Lane Assist Inoperative message appeared again. I have a service appointment for 21 Jan 21 to attempt to fix the message . . . again. I really like the one-way hour drive to get to this service location and vacation time I expend to get my vehicle serviced . . . NOT! Will follow-up with another review based on how successful this next scheduled appointment goes. Bottom Line -- It appears Im getting the you bought the car somewhere else warranty service. Why have scheduled appointments if they are meaningless. Fix the car right the first time.

Superb, conscientous, courteous competent Service
Customer service is always excellent. The mechanics are top notch. Service time was minimal for what I had to complete.
Story time. So I found a 2016 GL-550 that my wife fell in love with at this dealership. We were looking to trade one of my Hellcats for an SUV since we have a new baby on the way. Called first thing on a Saturday morning to schedule an appointment, to come and see the vehicle (dealership is an hour+ away from my house). Showed up at 11:30 am and was told the vehicle was at the body shop getting a new windshield and would not be available until 2:00 pm. Inquired as to if they had a vehicle of similar specs and was told by the sales manager no.. (Nick I believe). So we stayed around Dothan for the duration and called at 1:30 pm to confirm the vehicle would be available and were told yes. We showed up to the dealership at 1:45 pm and waited for it to show up and finally around 2:20 pm the vehicle arrived. Our salesman Adam started to show us the vehicle and another salesman with clients immediately got in the vehicle and left to apparently go show it to some guy (as I was told). Once it arrived back at the dealership, we test drove it and wanted to immediately make a deal. We waited for over an hour and were ultimately told sorry we are selling it to the other customers. I asked to speak with the sales manager (Nick) and was told sorry these things happen and they got here before you. These other clients showed up at 1:30 pm and because we were sent off at 11:30am and told to come back at 2:00pm, they somehow got there before us. There are a lot of other details of this experience I have excluded, as to try and cut down the length. In all of my years buying vehicles of all types and price ranges all around the world, this was by far the worst and most embarrassing experience Ive ever had. I would certainly not recommend!

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of purchasing our latest vehicle at the Mercedes-Benz dealership of Dothan. We had decided on a Mazda 6 and came across one for sale at their dealership. The condition and price made the drive from Tallahassee, Florida to Dothan, Alabama worth the trip.Although their dealership sells high-end luxury vehicles and we were considering a pre-owned vehicle, the level of service we received was outstanding. Their showroom was beautiful and spotless, and the friendliness and professionalism of Brandi Williams, Tyler Ford, and Brigitta Coker during the entire process exceeded our expectations. Often in the past, we’ve found the process of bargaining to purchase a vehicle stressful and uncomfortable, but not so in the case. We left with what we feel was a good deal and a car we’re very happy with. The experience was so good that it compelled me to compose my first review ever of a car dealership. On top of everything else, their receptionist even suggested a Dothan’s China Wok as a source for great Chinese food and she was spot on.If you’re in the market for a new or pre-owned vehicle, I would happily recommend Mercedes-Benz of Dothan. This was a horrible experience and I wouldnt recommend anyone doing business with Mercedes of Dothan. Brooke and Steve was either having a rough day or absolutely hate their job. I was treated like I was no one and charged $199.00 for a diagnostic test that I was told couldnt be performed because of wiring. But I was still charged $199.00( is this even LEGAL).Im definitely moving on with further action and filing a corporate complaint against BOOKE AND STEVE!! Not to mention I had my vehicle towed to the location which was another $75.00 only to be told theres nothing they could do to help. This was very disappointing and definitely feel like I was to taking advantage of.

I would highly recommend Mercedes of Dothan! I recently left my car there for servicing, but I realized I had left a nice piece of jewelry in the car. Brooke, from the service department met me after hours to give it to me since I couldnt make it to the dealership before they closed. This is just one of the positive experiences I have had since purchasing my car two years ago.
As ALWAYS, service was impeccable. Im ALWAYS met with the most friendly service staff. Diagnostics, service and repairs are ALWAYS explained and performed in a most professional manner. The technicians are HIGHLY trained and Ive never left the dealership with an unanswered question. I never have issue with maintenance and repairs because I know Im leaving my vehicles in the hands of professionals at all times.
I was dealt with very poorly as a perspective customer. Communication with staff was very limited as they were not available when I called and they did not return my calls. I requested to speak to the manager to address my concerns and still no response. I kept the staff member I was working with informed of my actions and intent for this transaction. I immediately secured funding and was ready to execute the deal. The staff member was fully aware that I would be calling at store opening to start the process. I called and could not get a sales person. I made several attempts to get this sale done. I called back later in the day only to be told that the bike was sold. The staff member did not even extend the slightest courtesy to call me back about the status of the bike.
Refuses to stand behind vehicles. Know your Lemon Laws.

I went in today for a tire rotation. I didnt have an appointment. They got to me right away and took care of a recall. Out of all the vehicles we have owned, Mercedes-Benz of Dothan is the most efficient service department we have experienced.If I could give them a 10, I would.

Just had an INCREDIBLE experience at MB of Dothan. I have a Winnebago View on a Dodge Sprinter 3500 chassis with the Mercedes engine. I blew the turbo hose about 8 miles out of town. Called Dodge dealer explained situation, he couldnt look at for at least a couple of days and it might be middle of next week because they are backed up. So I AM OUT OF TOWN on business as a sales rep and no turbo. I limped the RV into MB of Dothan and explained to TONY the situation, he gets up walks to the back comes out with CHAD who crawls underneath the front confirms loose hose and missing clamp. They dont have the part but THEY HAVE A SOLUTION. Chad removes the clamp from the service Sprinter they use for local trips. In 30+ minutes I am back on the road!! THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE! If they will do that for a total stranger off the street I cant imagine the level of service their actual customers receive from the staff. THANK YOU!
