Publix employees are always very helpful. If you need to find something, they usually will personally walk you to the item. I like the wide, spacious isles. Their prices are somewhat higher that other grocery stores, but their quality and cleanliness is much better.

The bakery has a pretty awesome selection of items and the person helping me offered some great suggestions.

The cashier Peg today her spirit was off and her vibe. We got our groceries and checked out, she bagged the small glass drinks in a plastic bag so I placed it in a paper bag and she said I could have just asked her for paper. Im sorry I thought that was your job so me and my husband just had to leave because she was vexed with a nasty spirit we did not want it to ruin our blessed day.

The workers here are always so nice and friendly, like they actually enjoy working here. For groceries, shop the sales. Regular prices on things are sometimes a little more expensive than other grocery stores may be, but were always able to get quality items (produce) and as I said everyone is pleasant, which more than makes up for it. Using the Publix app is super helpful, you can see sales and digital coupons. When you add stuff to your list itll also put them in order as to where theyre located in the store. Very nice if youre not as familiar with where everything is. Last thing, try their deli subs if youre wanting to pick up lunch or dinner! We recently tried these for the first time and they were delicious!

My experience at this Publix location was really great. I placed an order ahead of time, and when I arrive it was ready and waiting for me. The staff members are really nice.

My favorite of all of the branches in Dothan. Very clean and friendly staff, as should be expected from a Publix. They also carry some products that others do not have.

Always friendly and they have such a good selection. I was so excited to find local from my favorite BBQ in Birmingham. Jim N Nicks sauce and biscuits are the best!

Am I the only one? Or just obsessed with clean? Forgive me, the shopping carts are wiped super clean, and polished too. We need to appreciate and support the associates for their diligence. I say go see for yourself!

Super friendly associates that will help you anytime. Cashiers are very friendly and helpful one will unload cart while one checks you out. The person who bags will even offer to take your groceries to your car. Everyone is very very friendly. Store is SUPER CLEAN AND WELL STOCKED.

Publix is The Chick Filet of grocery stores! Ive lived in AL since early 2018. Most of the employees are still there. This shows that theyre just as good with their employees. I feel like other businesses could benefit using/following Publix training program/protocol. I only wish is that I would of had a Publix sooner!

I like they always up to date with gluten free products, their store has the most gluten free items I seen, its just they run out a lot. I also discovered the deli And bakery makes gluten free cupcakes an cake and subs. They even have a tofu sub. Also if their out of something you wanted like the gluten free cupcakes for example, you can tell them to place a order to have it at store for you. I love that.

Customer service is absolutely lousy for a store like Publix Westside on August 4, 3:45 PM .Tried to find one individual who cared enough to answer a simple question of where something would be located instead of circling the store twice trying to find it.Stopped by customer service desk, the individual had a blank look did not know nor offered to get help.The individual at the checkout was not much better at providing directions and the had the nerve to say no one was available.Publix’s you blew it and blew it big time.My little business want shut your doors but at least I can control where my money goes .Bad service, Publix management !

I have never been treated so poorly in a Publix in all my life. The woman working the seafood counter was extremely rude to me and I go to check out with a sick child and did not read the 10 items or less I had maybe 15 items and the cashier had an attitude with me because I had more than 10. I will never shop at this location again because if it’s poor customer service. The reason I shop at Publix is because they go above and beyond. This Publix needs help and their produce department needs a new manager...tomatoes and grapes were molded and shriveled up, Absolutely disgusting.

Always service with a smile. Meat and produce is always fresh. Costs are a bit higher than local stores but you get what you pay for. I like all the choices, the freshness, and the kindness.

The best Publix in the area, well stocked and staff is friendly. Can get a little busy at times and hard to get in and out of because its right on John D Odom but its definitely worth the effort.

My experience has always been great except the now two times I have forgotten to bring my ID inside and tried to buy alcohol. I’m clearly older but the same girl is the only one who demands my ID. It’s pretty annoying given I’m in my mid 30s and clearly look it. I mean, come on.

I normally really love Publix, but this one really need to fix its Deli department. I get a lot of subs here and the past few months they’ve been hiring a lot of new employees in the Deli. It seems like every new employee is put in the sub area with no one training or to watch over them. Which I get it they have to learn how to make subs, but there’s no one there to really guide them through it enough. So it leads into a lot of mess ups. I just recently got a sub there and it was a new person making my sub, she had to go cut some of the meat for my sandwich and as I was eating my sandwich I started pulling plastic pieces out of my mouth and I realize it was from her not pulling the plastic part all the way up before cutting the meat. There was a bunch of other things that has happened, but this one took the cake. I’m just going to have to drive an extra 10 minutes to go to the other Publix till they train their employees better.

I was escorted to my car by a helpful bagger. Both employees super friendly and quick. On my second trip, my cashier Samantha was amazing. Definitely the most cordial employee I have met. My bagger Brandon offered to help me to my car and loaded all my groceries. We chatted a bit about the air force. He seems to be a very polite and bright young man. My visits to this Publix have been awesome. On my second teip I was able to snag some organic juice that was on clearance near checkout #1. The bogo deals are the best ever! I have not been dissapointed by their subs and fried chicken family meals. Publix is definitely undefeated when it comes to grocery chains. Thanks for great shopping experience, clean store and wonderful service. If I am ever visiting this town in the future, I will shop here. Highly recommend shopping here.

Publix is always great, with respect to the friendliness of each and every employee. However, the prices are a lot higher than your average neighborhood grocery store or Walmart. I went with one thing in mind...a yellow cake mix. I found what I needed immediately, but the price of the cake mix I chose was $2.29!! At Wal-Mart or Grocery Outlet in Dalwville, the same exact cake mix was only $1.00 or $1.10. I guess you pay extra for the better selection and friendly faces!

Hello, this store is very nice. Clean and plenty of stock to choose from. I was asked if I needed help by several of the staff.

I use the app so I know what I want is I’m stock and what aisle it’s on, they recently added u-scan so that’s a plus, clean store, busy but I rarely wait in line.

My wife only shops at Publix, she loves the fresh vegetables and fruit. She was disappointed she wanted a watermelon when she checked out nobody knew the price of the watermelon. So sadly to say she went home without the watermelon, but she will be back next week for sure. She loves her Publix. Now I must say I love my Walmart. That is to say we never shop together. Staff is always friendly and the store is very clean. Some common items like a case of water are priced much higher than competitors. I do enjoy shopping there for the bigger selection of specialty items especially vegan ones. Also in my opinion they have the best bakery section breads.

Could not find what i needed. They moved everything ảound again.

Refusing to cash a payroll check. Thats false advertising. Im contacting the better business Bureau. This is a lawsuit... Crystal, one of the managers, was telling me that she didnt care that it was false advertising. She wasnt going to honor the check cashing sign. And she said I could contact and post to social media about what a poor excuse their customer service policies were... She didnt care. Not a place that is worth spending money at. Was needing to buy groceries, but I went to Wal-Mart instead. They cashed my payroll check, and I bought groceries from there with no problems.

They not only help you if you cant find something but will take you to it or order it for you or call other Publix to see if they have it.
