First off if your under a dead line or need competent communication this is not the place to go with. In my opinion the owner is a Arse, was told it would take about two weeks to get door in the end result about 5 weeks. Just to get a courtesy call for when the door would be delivered and installed was impossible. All that being said you better have your payment ready because they will be jumping down your throat the day after even though the emailed invoice is net 30...Installer and helper was awesome, quality of door was good. But overall not worth the headache I mean your business is to make money so maybe treat customers a little better.

Although we didn’t have work done by you I want to tell you about your employees. We were at a gas station in Dothan waiting to get our diesel gas behind one of your trucks. They had not started filling just yet but the sweet curly top young man told the gentleman about to start filling your truck to wait and had him pull forward so we too could start filling. It shows what a wonderful company you are and your employees are!

The following are my condensed notes which relate to how & why I rated Southern Door as a FIVE STAR COMPANY:In August of 2018, Southern Door installed a 14 x 10 roll up door w/ header seal & chain hoist w/automatic opener w/remote & key pad on the newly constructed Trinity Metal Building for me.Less than a month later, I noticed that the door was making unusual noises. A technician came out to adjust it. The door worked fine until 11/19/18 when while the door was in the process of closing, it reached the half way mark & violently crashed to the ground, hitting hard on the concrete. The motor kept running. I used the side key pad to shut it off. The rubber seal had gotten stuck inthe mechanism whereby causing 3 rips in the metal door. Southern Door sent William Campbell. He came out, adjusted the door, SPRAY PAINTED the RIPS in the metal & left...........By 11/28/19 the door was once again, crashing to the ground.I was NOT happy...........I called Dennis Kelley whom I had contracted the construction of the building through Trinity Metal Buildings. He in turn, contacted Mark Jackson, owner of Southern Door.Mark Jackson came out to my property that day. He stated that they had a few problems with some of the rubber seals which ultimately led to the damage of my door.He cut the rubber seal off so that the door would function properly & stated that he would order & replace the damaged product with a NEW DOOR with a brush seal on it.I appreciated that.On 1/16/19 the new door w/brush seal was installed. The technicians, Jeremiah & Travis were both courteous, polite & efficient.I was truly thankful & gave them each $20 in appreciation for their fine work.There are two main methods of determining the value of a company.One, by the quality of their products.Two, by how a company backs up their warranties.Mark Jackson of Southern Door is a good, decent individual with high business morals, principles & practices. He took the time to drive out to my property & evaluate the problem with my door. He found a solution & replaced the damaged product. He has my admiration & respect.Southern Door IS a FIVE STAR COMPANY!
