This Kroger leaves much to be desired. They never have what your looking for and if you are visiting their pharmacy, please don’t depend on the status of your prescription by calling in. I called and was informed that my script had been ready for pick up since 4:50 PM. I stand in their long line for 20 minutes to be told at 6:25 PM that my script will be ready the following day. This is NON-CUSTOMER SERVICE! Maybe it’s time to switch to Publix…..

This location is terrible. DO NOT get a prescription filled here if you are in need. They take 24 hours. Furthermore, picking up groceries leaves everything to be desired. Store is dilapidated.

Crazy that they lock doors at 11:45, last week it was 11:30. They advertise closing at 12. You win Kroger…I’ll just shop at Publix.

The pharmacy department needs a total revamp starting with employees first. They are very unprofessional and they lack adequate communication skills. They were rude for the exception of the tech working at the register. I’ve encountered her on a couple of visits and every time she was polite and apologetic.I understand the complications that can occur in pharmacy operations but if you have a team that obviously doesn’t like working with each other let alone with customers, you have nothing but wasted energy and frustration. It’s saddening and I feel bad for those whom are dependent on their medications to be filled sufficiently, with care and within a reasonable time.

If I could rate this store zero stars I would. It never fails regardless the time of day you go, you will literally stand in line at customer service for at least 20 minutes. I arrived at 7:45am this morning, stood in line for 5 minutes at customer service behind another gentlemen while the woman responsible for working the customer service desk held a personal conversation with another associate. After she finally came over, it took her 25 minutes to assist the gentlemen in front of me before she advised me that I could go to any register for assistance. By that time, I was in line for 25 minutes and now had 6 people behind me. When I proceeded to a register she was still assisting the first gentleman. She didn’t call for assistance or anything. Worst part, it is always like this. I absolutely dread having to come here.

Pharmacy IS RUDE AS HELL and inefficient. Doctor sent a prescription for INSULIN yesterday and they claimed they never received it or didn’t have it and it’s almost 24 hours. ITS insulin. Get it together or find better people.

Just experience some rude customer service at the Kroger Gas Station. At 10 :50 pm I went to the attendants window to pay cash for my gas and she tells me she can not make change for my large bill. I said I will go get change and she replied I close in ten minutes. When I return with cash to pay I see the attendant putting up keys in her booth. She turns around and makes eye contact with me standing there. So two, three maybe four minutes go by and she comes to the window and her exact words were OH I AM CLOSED NOWI replied I told you I was going to get change how rude and I have been standing here at the window for several minutes. She said again I am closed there is nothing I can do about it.Unbelievable, please teach Breanna some customer service if you are going to employ those that do not have any. Absolute rudeness.

Really long lines. Long waiting.

Ive shopped here for over 30 years but I lost my leg in a auto accident and cant want long distance. The last 20 times Ive been here they only have a electric cart that worked a couple of times. They have plenty they just dont work. I will be going somewhere else.

Pharmacy is rude and wont answer their phones. I absolutely hate having to come here its the only place my insurance will cover my scripts at. If you hate your job that much transfer somewhere youd prefer or lose the attitudes. Id literally rather pull my teeth out instead of having to deal with these trolls.

I have been going to this Douglasville Hospital Drive location for over 25 years. They no longer take pride in their store. The front entrance (your first impression of store) is almost always dirty looking and not inviting by any means. I went today (Saturday ) for buttermilk. The entrance is messy, almost all buggies are in the parking lot, & they are stocking through out the store. In the seasons area they were changing Halloween to Christmas and the aisles are almost blocked with boxes and merchandise. The milk area was almost bare, every milk item had not been restocked and there is no buttermilk of any brand to be found. This is the beginning of the week and for those who work full time it is the time to shop. I understand that a number of customers are ordering on line but that is no excuse for the look of the store and availability of grocery items. This is not the first time these instances have occurred. The Pharmacy almost always has a very long line and prescriptions are not being handled in a timely manor. I want to continue to shop here but will most likely have to change. Other Kroger stores in the area do not look like this.

Pharmacy is rude 🙄, I called to get my prescription refilled and the first thing they said when they said was “what do you want” with a rude attitude and I was like okay and then proceeded to give me a hard time abt getting my prescription refilled, Ashley the new manager was very kind and helpful, and Ted was a complete Ahole and the cashier peyton was extremely nice and helpful and actually seemed like she cared about her job, and about helping me.

Horrible pharmacy employees. Just today Ive seen 3 ppl walk out on the staff. They are not really handling all the customers to well. Could use better management.

My daughter and I have been calling the pharmacy since Monday afternoon. numerous hang ups placed on hold and forgotten about..Finally spoke with an enthused representative this morning and questioned if my prescription was filled and ready, she rudely answered no. Its been there since Monday and today is Friday.... Very disappointed... wonder how long they want someone to wait for ( Blood pressure medication) I really hope someone looks at the structure and repairs it... lives depend on it.

Flu shots are NOT free. They are only free for people who already have insurance. The pharmacy always has alot of staff but cant seem to be bothered to help people waiting in line.

One of the worst stores ever. Employees not friendy and you have to watch you can get over charge. Self checkout is another problem it will double charge you. And the employees that watch you profile certain people . Parking lot dirty. Just a nasty store.

When I went there I got some frown had bread pizza for my dinner because right my braces and when cut the pizza it was rotten, and a bunch of black balls and things was inside it.

Ms. Angie from the bakery dept. did an amazing job on my sons birthday cake. She was very sweet, patient and very kind. She will be getting a lot more orders a referrals from me. Thank you some much for the superman photo frame cake. It was a hit. Everyone loved it!!

The employees Hoover entirely too much at self check out. Tiffany just walked up to me today and started checking out my items and I didn’t even need assistance. All registers were full how was I picked out of everyone that she felt like she needed to help me. Sounds like profiling to me? If I don’t need help don’t come up to me. I have already stopped going to Walmart for this same reason. Kroger’s has taken extra money off of my card in the past and has attempted to take more money out weeks after I left the store. I have been shorted change at the self check out so I really limit my trips to Kroger’s unless absolutely necessary. I should be looking out for them and my bank account and seeing if I’m getting accurate change back. So don’t treat me as the criminal. I spend less when I come now and don’t buy as much as I use to. I only gave a 2 star rating because some of the prices are pretty good.

Shop at your own risk. The store is dirty feeling and the parking lot is sketchy at best.

This used to be one of my favorite places to shop. It is unfortunate that the store stop giving adequate customer service around 7pm each day. I was there not too long ago and there was only 1 lane open. The cashier was very kind but slow. To the Management of this store, lets shape up and be the best we can be. Customers are what keep you in business. We need more lines open evenings. To the Kroger Corp office, we want our natural food section back. Hate the current store layout. This used to be a better store. We expect better.

After spending two hours and $200 at this store..the rent a cop at the front door asked to see my reciept. After carelessly glancing at my reciept he waved me off. After walking out the front door i was politely approached by a police office in the parking lot. The office says was a report of someone shop lifting. Do you have your I.D. on you? I immediately recommended the officer or rent-a -cop go through my grocery cart and receipt thoroughly. They would not. 🙄. After they glance at each other then at me.... The came to the conclusion that I have not stolen anything...the Rent-A-Cop proceeded to walk away while I was talking without an apology for falsely accusing me, as if I was wrong one in this scenario. After this incident i wanted to refund all $200 of my groceries but of course... It was Sunday after 8pm so customer service was closed. I can guarantee you Kroger on Hospital Drive will NOT get my business ever again !!

Love Their PS-Private Selection Deli Meat! Krogers Brand..... Normally Dont Eat Ham? But their Ham-The Brown Sugar Ham? Is Awesome and I Normally Dont an Wont Eat Ham! So this is a Huge Switch for me! Also Love their Buffalo Chicken Or Cajun Turkey! 😉

They used to be my favorite place to shop for natural products (and make it so I didnt have to drive to whole foods for said items), but after visiting today, I will not be going back. They have completely taken out the organic/natural section of their store. They may have integrated the items into other aisles, but I spent a good while searching and only found 3 items on my 10 item list.

I Purchased a small pack of pork chops only to get home, opened it up and get a big whiff of what is clearly old/bad meat. I’ve been a faithful Kroger shopper for years and don’t want to paint all their stores with a broad brush but I certainly won’t be buying any more meats from this location.

Compared to other Kroger stores in other places, this ranks low. It’s still my main grocery store since it’s closer and prices aren’t bad. Parking can get really congested, so I avoid busy times at all costs. My main complaint is in freshness of produces. Been shopping here almost 2 years now and I’ll say that it’s taken my wife and I this long to start making trips out to Walmart a bit further out just to specifically pick up fresher produce that won’t go bad within a few days.

This review is for TED that works in CUSTOMER SERVICE (April 20th @ 11:24 a.m). How do you WORK in customer service w/ horrible customer service. He was upset because one of his coworkers told him that he needs to move the PLEXI GLASS to the register next to him. And he was mad about that and took his anger out on me. I understand we’re in a pandemic and times can be overwhelming. But if you’re mad about having to move plexi glass, please go work in the back stocking dairy products. Not in the front with customers. Otherwise, I love all the associates and grounds and store are very well kept.

I really like my neighborhood Kroger, but the folks in the deli need attitude adjustments. I have heard supervisors use profanity while disciplining employees - should never happen in front of customers- Ive been ignored on numerous occasions as if they wait long enough I will leave, I have seen them slice cheese and meat on the same slicer so as to avoid having to reclean machinery, and whatever they endure in life, they bring to work with them. I could name names, but I wont. They should pretend to like their jobs if they dont, or maybe give that job up to someone a bit more customer service savvy.

You all know why its getting one star.....because i have to give at least one in order to review. I had a prescription sent directly from a doctors office last October. I took it as the label directed---they had the prescription and instructions-I did not. I ended back up in the ER and odd eye issues, but didnt put two and two together. When I refilled, the instructions were completely different, half the dose that Id taken for a full prescription! I called the doctors office. The new label was correct, the first one, which I took a complete box of, was incorrect. I filed a claim through Kroger Customer Care/Sedgewick Claims Management. I signed medical releases in April. Ive sent several follow up emails, and called at least four times, with absolutely no reply nor response. I only went back to this store once, and that was to the fuel pumps, and I didnt notice until I was already pumping the gas, but there was a huge spill that I stepped in when I got out of my car, transferring gas into my new car. They offered to give me a can of upholstery cleaner. I wouldnt shop at this store again if I were paid to do so. They doubled my medication by improper labeling, and the store is filthy as is the gas area.

First of all, I dont use this pharmacy, I use Brownsville Commons Powder Springs. Gas can be a little high, but Kroger Surveys take care of that with 50 points per survey. They have great surprise deals, great handicapped access most of the time and that weekly grocery flyer. I pretty much buy all my groceries at a Kroger.

Great Pharmacy great workers. Visited the one on Peachtree Industrial and realized they had better produce. A wider selection of all products and you did not have to walk over workers stocking at inappropriate times. We are being cheated by corporate because of the neighborhood.

While I appreciate the upgrades, this Kroger just cant compete with other grocery stores. Even the Kroger on Chapel Hill is a little nicer.

Experience there was kinda disturbing. I was kinda put in a position where I was being accused of stealing where I wasnt allowed to leave the store when Im sure I was on camera paying for everything but... whatever.

Love my local Kroger. Consistently has a few Caribbean staples and very nice healthy eating selection. Usually an easy in-easy out experience.

Great pharmacy. This is an older store. Not as fancy as the new stores but they have really good people working here.

The pharmacy staff was incredibly rude to begin with, secondly, they said my wifes prescription would take about an hour to fill. After returning to the store almost two hours later, they told us it still wasnt ready. Finally, after waiting another thirty minutes or so in the parking lot because we didnt want to waste the gas to go all the way back home, we went back inside to check on the prescription, only to get told that they didnt have it and it wouldnt be in for another two days. Lastly, they had the nerve to be rude and take another ten minutes just to go back and get the prescription to give back to us, so that we could go somewhere else.

What a difference a year make! could not get anyone on the phone to see if they have any more rug cleaners to rent out. When I finally got someone on the phone fifth try, they told me its possible that it may not work to pick it up try it out if its broken take it back and try another one out. Horrible customer service not a care in the world good luck is basically what he said to me! I shop there every week at least three times a week I should get treated better than this Im definitely going to call and report this. There wasnt a negative 0 so I had give them this 1 *

Food was reasonably priced. The staff is very helpful. Plus you can earn Kroger points that you can use to get discounts on your gas at the Kroger gas station.

I get gas here sometimes, its a couple cents less than the other locations. I do not shop this location unless I need the 24 hour pharmacy. The customer base that frequently shops here does not give a safe or welcoming vibe.

This store is usually quite clean, well organized, and filled with helpful employees. The manager is clearly about customer service and doesnt seem to be above jumping on a register himself if the lines are long. My only complaint is they have recently moved some items to other locations for some reason... That makes it harder to find stuff that has been in the same place for years and I end up running around looking in different places to find what used to take no time.

It is currently 9:28am on a Wednesday. The are 4 people in line for the Customer Service/ Money Services dept. 2 people are behind the counter and only one is working. This is the stupidity of customer service I deplore. No help from the other rep and it seems as if there is a problem. Will not be visiting again. No sense of urgency. Smh.

The pharmacy is helpful and informative. The store has been well organized. The staff is helpful, and even ordered me a product I wanted that they didnt have.

They told me my son meds wil be ready in 1 hour. After 1 1/2 hour wasnt ready and they were closing. Went next day 12 45 stood in line over a hour 1 was ready 2 wasnt ready she said they was working on it and 1 they had to order and it will take a week to come in took from thursday untill saturday to get my special need son his medicine and still dont have 1 of his meds. Update.... One week later and still dont have the 1 med they said was ordered. The lady said she dont know when it would be in and have the Dr. rewrite the prescription then take it to another pharmact. This is unacceptable.

Kroger is always good and here they always open . The only thing is ya cant buy cigarettes after 11:00 pm.But its really the best store around

Great 4 Day sale and earning Kroger points helps out with gas. Save 10 cents of each gallon with 100 points. Courteous staff and never a long wait in lines.

Buy my groceries here every week. Some times they have great sales. Took my senior discount away said lower prices but some are lower and alot are higher.

Front end supervisor rude if you gonna be working with customer service at least have customer service skills qieta it’s not my fault you hate your job learn to deal with public if you the leader of the front end and your customer services is horrible I can imagine how the regular employees are

I dropped my percription off friday night they said it was a two hoyr wait i told them i would pick then up ssturday when i got there saturday they said only one percription was ready they said i had to wait 15 ninutez fir the other percription you guy pharnacy sucks i will never fill my percription at kroger again i will go snd oay nore soneone else they didnt offer a discount or bothing they used the same excused they were back up that is not accepta ble you need more staff

I understand that it was early but customer service starts as soon as you clock in at work, so I thought. A store full of employees and no one bothered to say good morning. I could barely get through some of the isles because of the stock being everywhere. I went down one isle where there was a stock lady, her box cart, a stepping stool, and a ton of stock, so I said excuse me as I was trying to maneuver my shopping cart around her and all of the extra stuff. She turns around and gives me this looks as if I am in her way, she moves to the side and leaves the stepping stool in the middle of the isle. So I move it out of the way so I can proceed as shes just looking! If you do not enjoy your job please go out and find you one that you will enjoy, but in the meantime can we please be thankful for the job that you do have!This is why I have not shopped in the Hospital Drive Kroger in over 2 years!!!

I didnt know that if the self checkout machine charges you for more items than you purchased that you have no recourse but to wait the following day for a manager to be on site to refund your money. And they dont care about wasting my gas or time. Thanks Kroger. No accountability no customer service.

Good place to stop. Plenty of good pricing for certain things......However if you have to place or pick up within their pharmacy on occasions...you may run into problems more than usual.

24 hours Grocery Store. Prices are decent, along with digital coupons, and they accept manufacturer coupons. Checkout is quick!

Spacious but oddly laid out, but that could be because its not my usual Kroger. Great deli area though!

Really liked this Kroger. Looks a lil sketchy at night but looks can be decievien. Nice selection of what Kroger usually offers. Store does have security officers on duty gives a sense of safety. Also conveniently located to some good eateries as well.

I had to revisit and edit my review. This place did have an issue with cleanliness on some of the shelves but they appear to have corrected those problems since they reorganized the store. The staff has always been friendly and helpful and now that the previous issues I encountered have been resolved I really enjoy shopping here.

The store is well stocked and generally clean. The parking lot is no fun to negotiate.

2 stars for in and out experience. However, while I was in this Kroger, the power and out twice. In addition, its just an older Kroger... Reminds me of Winn-Dixie. Not a fan of staff either.

While all of the employees were polite it was approximately 10 am and seems as almost every isle had stocking going on. Tha cashier was fast accurate and very kind.

Another day at kroger with the worst customer service ever, I will never come back to this location. another situation at the customer service desk where they refused business. kionna, noel & ted refused to ring me up for a transaction for something that can done at any kroger. it really bothers me how terrible customer service can be when you always supported a business and the employees are just not up to helping us back. I felt humiliated & degraded the way kionna came up & didn’t even greet me nor solve the issue management should be setting an example & she really showed them how to NOT PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This Kroger is very congested..the store is cluttered and unkept. As soon as you enter the store you will realize that Kroger doesnt care because of demographic area. Executives need to do a pop up visit.

Managers are extremely friendly and helpful. Everything is always stocked and neat. Great beer selection. The quality of the meat isnt that great especially the chicken, which is hit or miss. And there is always someone sketchy wandering out front asking for money. The pharmacy is extremely slow. The most simple scripts take an hour to fill. I guess I was spoiled by Wegmans where it would only take 10 minutes. Just baffles me that they have 10 people working at the pharmacy and it can take so long.

Easy to find stuff in this store and very friendly people that works at check out. My daughter loves miss charly that works in check out and she loves the ladys in the deli

This has always been my kroger but I am really going to consider using the other douglasville store on ridge road which is close to work. The reason why is because ive had the same problem with my last 2 clicklist orders. I wont go into detail here, but honestly there’s no use of good ol common sense with the orders. By the time I have to drive back, go into the store to deal with the problem, or explain it 3 times, it defeats the purpose of using clicklist at all.My most recent click list order from around 8/1/2020 was an order pick up from 8-9am. I was called early that morning and asked to come at 9 because I had a “pretty big order.” I always spend $200 plus on every grocery trip so that’s accurate. I arrive at 9. I was already irritated bc all the clicklist parking spots are taken but there were at least 3 empty cars meaning people parked there and went inside the store to shop. I call and am on hold just to let them know I’m there, until 9:15. I was told I was just waiting for my deli meat to be sliced then my order would be out. Well by 10am I’m calling back and explain to a manager that I am really unhappy. I ended up with store credit which is nice and all but the amount of time spent waiting I could have done my own shopping. Again just an irritating situation if the end result is poor. What was sad was by the time the lady brought my food and she hands me the paper they always print off she was unable to explain to me the form. So I have no idea if I’ve been given substitutions or what. She has no idea and her solution is to check the bags. I’m sorry but I’d prefer you not have your hands all over my groceries. Then.... a young lady comes out with my deli cheese. If I hadn’t spent extra time talking to her and trying to understand the contents of my order I surely would have driven off without my cheese. I will not be ordering from clucklist here ever again.My most recent in store trip around 8/15/20 there are no carts and I had to go all the way back into the parking lot for a cart. Then by the time i get to checkout there’s 1 very long line. So why as a customer do I have to ask you to send someone t get carts from the parking lot and why do I have to hunt down an employee to ask them to open up a register?????? These problems don’t seem to occur at the other Dville Kroger stores, hey 5, chapel hill and ridge rd are all so much better.

ClickList is disappointing. I ordered lettuce as part of my online cart and it’s as if they picked out the packs with the most brown lettuce they could find. I mean c’mon...pretend like you’re shopping for yourself. Wouldn’t YOU find lettuce without brown spots?? So, this service is pointless because you don’t know if the agent will actually care to see to it that you get the fresher looking fruits and veggies or food period. And going through the trouble of having to check the bags of $60+ worth of groceries and then them having to go get you something better is almost not worth the hassle/argument. They need some kind of quality control on this kind of thing. Second ... they were “out of stock” both my visits for items that were on the top of my list ...there needs to be a way to see on the app if an item is in stock OR have the agent call you beforehand to prevent wasting time driving all the way there just for them to tell you they didn’t have something. It is technology after all, it wouldn’t be hard to incorporate that. It’s probably just this Kroger...very POOR ClickList service.
