The customer service is good and selection is great; they will always assist in loading heavy items into your vehicle. Easily accessible from Dupont Hwy, and the only Harbor Freight in the lower part of the state. They always offer discounts and special deals.

Do you need a basic/cheap tool with no frills or extra quality? If so, Harbor Freight is the place for you. I mean this in a good way... some times we just need a cheap screwdriver, hinge, or clamp. No reason to over spend, just go to Harbor Freight!!Also they have decent tool cabinets for a good price.

Good store and always have what is listed for sale. The staff is helpful but the physical location is pretty much a dump. I feel sorry for the employees.

Textbook harbor freight. Nice people. You want cheap a$$ tools? This is the spot... You want good tools, maybe not. Personally, I like the tools... if they break, I get a new one. They are 1/3 the price of high end. I break 2 tools and still break even :)

We went to the Middletown store to purchase something. They didnt have it in stock but were very helpful in calling the other stores and we had to travel to Dover to get it and they put it aside for us so that it would not be sold on our way to get it. We needed it right away so that is why we traveled so far. Both stores were very helpful to us. The Dover store employee put it in our car by the front door. My husband just had to drive up to the front door.

I got a rolling sit down creeper and a 3 in 1 jump starter. Customer service was great. Creeper was easy to assemble. Jump starter easy to plug in.

I went to the store on March 10th, to purchase a top box for the bottom chest I already own from harbor freight. They didn’t have one in stock so I ordered it online with my harbor freight credit card. On March 19th I called to get a status update for my order as the estimated shipping time was 10 days and the order didn’t show shipped yet. I found out that the box was on backorder with no expected delivery date so I canceled my order. On April 5th I got a notification from Synchrony Bank (the company Harbor Freight uses for its credit cards) and was told that there was a balance due on my card. I hadn’t purchased anything else so when I looked into it, the refund had t hit my account yet. I called Harbor Freight and was told that they would flag my concern for a quicker resolution and was told it would be taken care of. Now my synchrony bill is due tomorrow for a purchase I cancelled 3 weeks ago and was told that the refund was just issued yesterday, so it will take a few days to hit the bank. So now I have to pay my synchrony bill and then hope that they send me back my refund in the form of a check. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Horrible customer service and even worse inventory management.

I Love the Store. The Manager and the Staff was Extremely Educated on everything in there store. I went to the one in Seaford De, I was asking some questions on spray paint, it was like pulling teeth from them. I would drive 45 minutes out of my way to go to the one in Dover always.

Word of caution: ONLY shop at this store if you are okay with them guilting a disabled person into quitting, and then refusing to give said person a copy of their write-ups to aid in their ability to receive disability...cooperate was no help either...I wont be spending my money here anymore.

Best place for low price tools that you may only use a few times. HF is trying to move up scale with new tool brands. I dont plan on buying them. I buy my better tools from the big box stores when I need one. HF does try to improve most of their tools even the cheap ones. They do follow their warranty well and I have had tools replaced without any problem.

I like harbor freight. People give them alot of flack for selling cheaply made tools, but unless youre using them everyday, these are perfect. You really cant beat the prices for their stuff, especially considering they always have a 20% off coupon in the paper. Ive bought so much stuff from here and have never had a problem with any of them. The store is always clean and the employees are really knowledgeable about what they have and where they have it.

Its harbor freight!!! Short and simple, some really good tools to grab here, are the 1/2 inch breaker bar with padded handle! You cant go wrong with it, Floor jacks(grey) 3 ton is a monster, mine held a car up in wind, rain, snow, 6 months. beat on, abused. just a great piece. Screw drivers however ehh... be smart about what you need and you will utilize this awesome little store. Dover staff is very nice, and stores as clean as it gets for its age.

Very friendly staff . A large selection of Inexpensive tools . As a professional mechanic I spend a lot on tools. Their larger tool boxes are very well made and well worth the money . If you know what you are looking at you cant get some good deals here on hand tools . With that being said I would never buy power tool here because a company I worked for yrs ago tried getting grinders and out of the 12 we had none last a whole month . A couple didnt last the first day .

While not on every street corner there are certainly an increasing number for Harbor Freight outlets around the country which is extremely helpful when youre away from home and needing tools as we did when racing in Dover. You can depend on a consistent selection of tools and materials in each store without having to worry about the location youre in. the staff for every two delighted to assist us with what we needed. And even threw in a little local knowledge on a good restaurant for free.

You just cant beat the prices and selection. Stock your truck toolbox or garage with necessary tools for a low cost. No, they arent Craftsman or Snapon tools, but your wallet will that k you. And you dont always need a high quality tool to get the job done.

Good selection, cheap prices! Live the Harbor Freight coupons! Every time I go, I use the free gift coupon for batteries or lights or gloves or tarps, its always changing but stays similar in many ways. Recently purchased a laminate trimmer because I left mine in Texas and was doing a last minute job in Rehoboth Beach. Home Depot has laminate trimmers for about a hundred dollars, but I picked one up here for about $25! Well worth the drive, and I got a pair of free gloves as well!
