Josh Morales was personable, friendly, and knowledgeable regarding the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4X4 Limited that we purchased from Zeigler Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Downers Grove. He answered all of our questions about the vehicle and returned promptly all phone calls and texts during the entire buying process. It was a pleasure to work with him . We will definitely recommend him to family and friends who are in the market for a new car. The Zeigler showroom is well lit, bright, airy, and comfortable. The complimentary coffee (better than most restaurants), refreshments, and snacks were first rate. Definitely an all around five star experience!
The first time I went here it wasn’t too great. That was almost 3 years ago and I am happy to say it’s improved tremendously since then. Shadi is amazing to work with. He knew our price range for monthly payments, finance situation, and the car we wanted and he did absolutely everything in his power to make it work. The price of the vehicle was fair and straightforward - never changed during our time and stayed the same as the online price. They bought our leased vehicle from us so we could trade in for a vehicle with cheaper monthly payments and their buy out value was reasonable and exactly what we expected. There were no last minute changes in the finance office and we walked out with a price we were extremely satisfied with. This location really redeemed itself and I would suggest it to anyone looking for a car if you want great customer service and no games.
My car wouldn’t start out of nowhere and I was near Zeigler CDJR so I gave them a call to see if someone could help me troubleshoot the issue. An employee, Nathan gave me the number to roadside assistance. They came out to give me a jump, and I was able to drive to the dealership to have my battery tested. I decided to leave my truck there overnight and the employees were nice enough to give me a ride home in their shuttle service(which I didn’t know they had until they offered it. So cool right!). The mechanics were able to detect the problem (I needed a new battery) and have it fixed and ready for me in less than 24 hours. The customer service in the service station is great, I highly recommend.
This place likes to scam and LIE! one of the worst dealerships i have ever been to. i do not recommend this place. go somewhere else, anywhere else but this place.
Customer Service is always great and they pin point the problems right away. Overall have been very satisfied with them. Sometimes the wait is a lot longer than it should be tho.
Had a recall on my 2021 Jeep along with 2 more recalls I was not notified about. They took care of all, kept me updated while I waited. Excellent service.
Complete waste of time, the price online is a lie to get you in the door, they tried offering me $1500 less on my trade than kbb. They had a $3000 mark up on the truck that they listed as a market adjustment. If thats the price, list it, dont throw it on as were discussing monthly payments.
Scheduling service appointment was easy, was contacted with status and updates several times and vehicle was ready when promised.
Came in for an oil change around 330pm and didnt wait anytime before I was greeted and taken care of by the staff. I waited maybe 20-30 mins and everything was done. I have never has a bad experience here, the staff is always quick and very courteous. I will continue to come back here before anywhere else despite other dodge dealers being closer to my home. SERVICE AND STAFF ARE FANTASTIC!!!!!
First time at Ziegler’s for service on my vehicle and I must say it won’t be the last. Excellent customer service!!!! Appointment was scheduled for 7am and I was greeted and checked in at my scheduled time by Paul. He provided details on what to expect and I was led to the waiting area. I waited approximately an hour and a half, as expected for the service, when Paul informed me that repairs were complete. Super impressed with the Service!!!
I never thought Id leave a 5 star review of a car dealer but Zeigler deserves all 5 stars. They worked hard to get me the Jeep I wanted. No back and forth just what I could pay and everything was done and in a couple hours they had me out the door with the Jeep I wanted. I definitely recommend Zeigler!
We purchased our 2021 JeeWrangler about a year ago and love it. The only service we have used are the oil changes and they are great. Always on time, keep us left spotless.
They are liers and dont want to help you. They also tell you if you make 1000 a month they could get you a newer car big fat lie. I drove over an hour just to get there and waisted my whole day and gas for nothing. I even asked multiple times and they said it was guaranteed. Then they said no and I needed a cosigner. I am so frustrated with wasting my time off of work and my money just to get here and say NO. Then it took me over two hours to get home with traffic. They also told me they had the car I liked and they didnt have it. After I used a cosigner they came back and said its close and need a Another one cosigner.
Call before wasting your time and gas. This is one of those dealerships that put a price online to get you there. However, when you arrive and talk numbers they bring you a price that is 6k higher due to a $2,500 dealership (transport and advertising) fee. 2 stars because the salesman was pretty nice. Other than that it wouldve been a 1.

Just went for an oil change here for the first time and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. So much faster and better customer service than my visit to other CDJ dealerships. Plus, the guy looked up my Jeep Wave benefits I barely know how to use and reminded me of my free oil change benefits. Super impressed with the great service and I’ll definitely be back!

After communicating with a salesperson from Ziegler in regards to a vehicle, she sends me an email advising the vehicle was ready for me to pick up. Drove 2.5 hrs to pick up the vehicle to be informed the salesperson Ive been working with wasnt in and wouldnt be able to help me. I told them I was there to pick up my vehicle and was told they dont have this vehicle but theyd be happy to get me into another slightly more expensive vehicle. I then showed him the email and was informed my salesperson was mistaken and they dont have the vehicle, but again the new salesperson would be HAPPY to have me look at another, more expensive vehicle. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR BAIT AND SWITCH! FALSE ADVERTISING AND FLAT OUT LYING TO GET YOU INTO THE DOOR. AVOID THIS PLACE!

I spoke with Anissa on the phone She said all I needed was proof of income & a Drivers license. I told her I didn’t want to waste my time going there if I was not going to be able to get a car & she assured me that I was approved for the 0 down & free insurance & that they don’t go through the bank that it’s all in house & that they are not strict at all. I went there & waited 30 minutes for someone to even sit down & take my info. Than I finally spoke to Juan he wrote all my info told me to pick my top 3 cars than tell me I’m not approved & Juan tells me that they do work with the banks. Definitely false advertising & a waste of my time.
Wanted a simple deal, found a car I liked, interested in getting a few hundred off price on 31K Grand Cherokee. Simple enough. Sit down to finalize price and they come back with fake “Delivery Fee” charge of over $3000 on top of normal doc, taxes and fees. Total out the door on a 31K car? 38K. Absurd.Asked what the delivery fee was for as the car was sitting right out front on their lot and salesman said that it was to account for “changing market conditions”, which is also called supply and demand and is the price of doing business, I’m sorry.Other reviews had mentioned this scam as well and super unfortunate it continues at this dealership. Salesman claimed “all dealers” are adding this fee. Sure they are…

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Ziegler. If you want to shop for a new car - dont deal with them!!! Don Hall (their salesman) flat out lied to me to get me in to their dealership, knowing that I had to travel 45 miles to get there. I found a nice brand new car that was advertized on their website for 41k. I called and learned that I dont qualify for 500 military rebate, so the price would be about 500 more. Thats ok. I asked to send me a deal on the phone. I got the deal on the phone from Don with a screenshot that 41,868.91. I asked if thats with taxes and then Don confirmed - yes thats with everything. I calculated the deal to be about 2k below MSRP + tax which was good enough for me considering all rebates etc. I said sure I am coming over. I prepped on my end, got a nanny for my 3 kids and traveled 45 miles to Ziegler in Downers Grove. The car was waiting for me. Unwashed. And had 158 miles - I let it slide - could be just a few test drives, no biggie. I come for paperwork and then Don pulls a long pause and says thats 41,868.91 + your 10k down, making it 51,868.91. WOW! What a lie just to get me in. I will never deal with Ziegler and recommend you to RUN from this place.

This dealership doesnt care about customers!! They just want to make money!! I bought a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan from a used car dealership. My caravan only came with 1 key. I bought a new key and took it to my local locksmith for programming. My locksmith told me I needed the 4 digit PIN which you get from the dealer. The Zeigler Dodge dealership in Downers Grove wanted to charge me $25 for the code. The parts manager gave me some story that they are only allowed to give out so many codes per day per Chrysler policy or it would affect their service department.So I called the Dodge dealership in Naperville. They gave me the PIN with no charge. The parts department in Naperville said there it is up to the individual dealership to set their rules, but there should be no reason to charge for that PIN key code.Thank you Naperville for great customer care.I wont be taking my business to Zeigler Dodge in Downers Grove

I recently purchased a 2021 Jeep Compass. I had the best experience ever. Peter was so knowledgeable and helpful. He was the first person that greeted me. He let me test drive the actual car I wanna to purchased and when I changed my mind he patiently helped me make a decision. We went over features and he showed me every color. He is the best. I have purchased 4 cars from pervious dealers and now I am just going to be a Jeep girl and buy them from Peter.
This is for the Express Lane/Service.My vehicle (Jeep Compass) is going on a big trip and for the past couple weeks there is a slow leak in passenger rear tire. I had came here (also the dealership I purchased from) to get the tire looked at. I pulled up to the Express Lane, there was two other vehicles getting work done. An advisor approached within 2 mins and asked for my reasoning. One of the service guys jacked Jeep up to get a better view of the tire and was able to spot the nail. The whole process took about 30 mins to get the nail out and stop the tire from leaking. I would definitely recommend coming to this Express Lane since it was a quick and easy service along with how the employees are friendly.
Service your vehicle at Ziegler Downers Grove at your own risk! I would advise to document your vehicles condition with photos at time of drop off, but even that wont help. Ziegler damaged a 270-mile Ram TRX that was delivered directly because of drivetrain failure, directly from my detailer. Dozens of photos document the trucks perfect condition / just completed paint protection on arrival and it left their dealership with scratches on hood, fender, door and wheel flares. They have never refuted my facts ... only state it is our position we are not responsible. I guess they believe car owners wont pursue further. Dont put yourself at risk.

My Salesman Rami was a doll, he was very patient with me and gave me exactly what I asked for! The finance manager Avanes was kind and didn’t mess around, he searched to give me the best rate possible. Before I left Rami connected my Bluetooth to my car and showed me how to use some stuff in my new girl! I was very happy with the dealership overall!
Poor customer service. Dealer charged me $3500 for a service contract and did not advise me of such. I did not want a service contract. Make sure you review the contract as the salesperson does not advise you of this charge. I will be contacting Lisa Madigan and the BBB regarding this fraudulent practice. I willnot be making a future purchase from Ziegler.
I want to thank the sales team at Ziegler. My salesperson was Joel. He was professional and I felt he was not about making a sale but there to find the right car for my daughter. He was prompt in answering my questions in which he provided valuable information about the vehicle. If I could give negative stars I would. Talk to someone named Diana, no down payment, no co-signer, based off your income. I had my mother bring me that has cancer and drove for 2hrs to walk away without nothing. I knew that was gonna happen and Diana kept ensuring me I will get a car. Joke. 2hrs 1way so 4hrs out of my day with my sick mother to get nothing. Never again with these ppl.
My experience with the service department was unprofessional and RUDE! Nathan was my contact person. The first time I brought my Jeep in for service he told me the problem and I asked him to fixed it. However I came back the next day for the same issue and other stuff The technician overlooked. I made another appointment to get the other stuff fixes. Nathan told me he had the parts a day before my appointment however the day of my appointment he told me he have to order my parts and it’s go to take a few days he wasn’t sure! The moral of the story when I told him if he cannot fix my vehicle I’m coming to get my vehicle once I came to get my vehicle he pull my vehicle inside of the garage and told me “I can back myself out of the garage and walked away Rudely” Never again!

This is the fifth time Ive had my 2019 Jeep Cherokee in for the same repair - it randomly wont start; this time Zeigler replaced the battery, claiming all else tested fine, so well see. All other times they claimed couldnt reproduce problem, so couldnt fix anything. Premises are clean, they are professional. Im waiting to see how they deal if problem happens again.

Great people to work with but be aware of what happens with cost for vehicles due to false advertising. Unfortunately I ended up paying additional options that I didnt agree with & once looking at the contract seeing the original price agreed upon on top of additional fees when purchasing a vehicle was actually way more then expected so long story short, be aware of price changes before continuing with the contract. This was the 2nd incident with this dealership, shouldve known better but hopefully same mistakes wont be made again with others.

I had a terrible experience at Zeigler Jeep in Downers Grove, Illinois today. I bought a 2019 Jeep Cherokee from Zeigler in June 2019. For the past two years plus, Ive had mostly positive experiences with this purchase.However, today I took the car in for normal oil change, fluid check etc. I also asked that the tires be rotated...as they hadnt been rotated since I bought it. And my front passenger tire had a slow leak, I wanted them to investigate. And I purchased and asked them to install new wipers.At the conclusion of the service, the service agent reported to me that a] one of the tire lugnuts was stripped and b] my tire that was slowly leaking air was delamination due to age of the tire. Unbeknownst to me it is a 2017 tire installed on my new 2019 [mid year] Jeep. So when I bought my Jeep, it came with a stripped lugnut, and tires two years old. [Nobody has touched the tires since the purchase].I told them that I had purchased a four year warranty on the car. The service rep replied that he wasnt sure if the warranty will cover this work [over 1000.00 in repairs] His warranty person was not in the office, so he couldnt provide Info on my inquiry.. We would have to wait until Monday.So the result of todays visit, I got oil change, new wipers [which I paid for] and rotated tires...including Zeigler rotating and installing the tire that had the leak!Lets just say Im very unhappy with this service experience at Zeigler Jeep in Downers Grove IL, and will be sharing my dissatisfaction on my other social media channels, including LinkedIn, where I have 4500 followers.Monday, Zeigler is to come back and respond how they plan on rectifying this situation.Update...Monday came and went...no Zeigler call or contact. Clearly they are a bunch of knuckleheads.

I went in bought the car Monday. It had a few issues the overflow to the radiator has cap missing very low on antifreeze, when you bag up and hit breaks it make a noise . When driving a humming noise and as you speed up it get louder which is a wheel bearing. They said they would fix issues and they put it on paper. I cant get a reply or call no one has even made a attempt to contact me. Its been 3 days. Just not professional to me.
Because I’m a contractor 1099, the dealership who claims they finance everyone tells me my job is considered cash and will not finance me….. hmmmmm it’s funny cause my other vehicles I’ve financed over the years and my current mortgage never once told me that. Extremely lazy on your part and I promise I will make sure the very large network of truck drivers I talk to will never ever buy from a Ziegler dealership.

I was a first time customer, everyone was so nice. My car was done in a reasonable time and they even called and gave updates in regards to what was wrong and the price. I will definitely come back for all my needs. The scheduling process was fast and easy too! Would definitely recommend!

After 5 years of bad experiences at another dealership, today was a breath of fresh air. I was able to get an appointment right away. Every person I encountered was extremely nice and friendly. My service advisor Paul worked hard to help me and explained everything in detail, gave me options and made my experience positive and stress free! So I live 2 hours away. I gave them a down payment and I was able to leave with a car. I was determined to make monthly payments and they are taking it back after 11 days of buying. They dont care about anyone but themselves. I dont have another car so they are screwing me from getting to work and back and they said not our problem. Would not recommend.
Frank was easy to deal with. That’s the only good part. They didn’t fill the gas tank before I left, brakes squeak even though keep saying they don’t, and entire process took a long time. Frustrated overall by the experience.
Had Ken as my sales guy. Very nice friendly and considerate. Had a problem right after I bought my car a week later they took care of issues for no charge. Tremendous service from Paul who took care of me. Both Ken and Paul deserve some recognition for their great service.

Shame on me for not recognizing the warning signs during my online contact and subsequent emails.( Of which there was 6 or 7) I was searching for a jeep cherokee and they were advertising a price slightly lower than others, so I inquired about its availability and they said yes when can you come in. I wrote that I didnt know because I just started looking and they replied not to wait to long as they were selling and the specials were expiring at the end of the month. The next day they sent me an email with all the programs available. When I saw that, I replied that I know I didnt qualify for at least 1 of them an asked if it was included in theyre online quote along with an explanation that it was a 1 hour drive and I wouldnt play games as I was ready to buy. Theyre actual reply was that the e -price was the price and Id have to come in to buy it. 1st warning sign. Didnt answer my actual question. But I figured after so many back and forth emails he was tiring of my questions, so I booked an appointment. Drove an hour and the person or what now appears to be a very amateur AI system wasnt available. Warning 2Did the whole test drive, decided I was still interested and was ready to finalize the numbers only then to find out every program under the sun was included in their price. There were so many programs, I cant imagine anyone would qualify for all of them which I specifically asked about. At that point I told the salesman we were done, refusing to do business with them. They actually sent him back to try to save the deal! So dont believe the internet pricing. Its a scam to get you in hoping your not intelligent enough to see behind the curtain.

Stay AWAY FROM THIS CROOKED DEALER!!! Tried t0 purchase a used chrysler 300 salesman wanted us to fill out financing info immediately. I asked for bottom line price. they came up with a additional charge of 2,989 dollars for what they called was a delivery fee. False advertising took 2 days to hear back from manager who explained their false advertising. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CROOKED DEALER!!! Would have gave ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!!

Took my car here last year for a warrantied dash pad replacement as it was delaminating. Was told it could take a full year for the parts to come in. Went back today for an unrelated issue and asked about the status of the parts for the dash pad. Was told that they have no record of it ever being inspected and there was nothing they could do since the warranty expired. Someone there dropped the ball, but no one willing to take responsibility. This dealership has no integrity! Update-They responded that it must be a misunderstanding and I should email Desi in customer care. I did that last Wednesday (4 business days ago)and still have not received a response. Like I said, no integrity! It’s now been several weeks since I was asked to email Desi. STILL no response!

Stay away! Took Grand cherokee 6/17 for a binding issue in drivetrain. They billed me over $1,200. Picked up 6/22 and noticed same issue. Called back 6/23 mad since issue is still there. They did not get me in until 6/29. They called 7/2 and 7/3 but found nothing wrong yet. 7/8 i get a voicemail from Josh(Service supervisor) saying they are waiting on me as to how to proceed and saying he needs his rental back. This rude voicemail when they had not reached out to me in days. I call back and Josh tells me my driveshaft and rear shocks have to be replaced and will be over $2,000 after tax. I requested a credit for the first visit since my issue was not resolved. I also informed him I have paperwork and checklist from a week prior clearly showing both these parts were good. Josh refuses to help and gives me the option of repairing there or returning his rental and picking up my jeep. I pick up my jeep knowing these two parts where fine but as I jump on the highway, the jeep’s rearend is jumping to the right harshly on bumps. I pull off the highway and take small streets home. When I get home I inspected the jeep looking for the issue and see my right rear shock completely covered in oil and no road grime or dust which meant they blew it. I emailed General manager Brian 7/9. I call 7/10 and ask for GM but am told he’s out for a week. I am given the option of talking to Josh. I refuse and leave message for GM. No call back. 7/13 find Pete(Director of service) on directory and email him. Pete emails and says to go in so he cam reinspect. I say my shock was blown there and Pete says he has to go by factual timeline. I explain my jeep was there a week earlier and was fine. He dismisses my claims. 7/20 i take it in and is put in the air. They show me the blown shock and I explain that the shock was fine on the first visit and when I dropped off on 6/29 when I took Paul a service agent out for a road test so he could hear the binding/thumping. I agree to leave it one more time. They replicate my original issue but do not know what it is. I pick up jeep 7/21 thinking they replaced what they damaged but they did not. I filled a BBB complaint and GM finally returned my call but pawned me off on pete who is of no help. I call and leave another message for GM but am told he’s in meetings 7/24. I called Pete again 7/24 and he was upset that i am still pursuing this. He said he and the gm agree its wear and tear and refuse to fix. 7/25 i was forced to use jeep on highway. At 65, when the front hits a bump, it jerks left and steering wheel shakes as if a tierod or ball joint is bad. At this point in conviced they accidentally jumped a curb and caused this damage. Pete’s first excuse was “factual timeline” when I shut him down explaining they had my jeep a week before, he changed his excuse to “wear and tear”. Again with the mileage! I took a 1200 mile trip at the end of may and was on unpaved roads. The shock should have blown then had it been in extremely worn conditions. It survived that, no reason why it would blow if it was just test driven by your technicians. You performed a repair that did not fix my issue and I was billed $1,200+. Now you damage my vehicle and want $2,000+ to repair your damages. At this point I am out $1,200+, original issue was never repaired and you returned my vehicle with $2,000 worth or repairs needed. You misdiagnosed my vehicle on the first visit and didn’t fix my original issue. Now you claim not one but two things failed while my vehicle was at your shop and you want to keep using wear and tear. I do not know if you are protecting the person that damaged my vehicle or they did it and kept quiet but my vehicle was returned in worse shape. I will have another dealership inspect my vehicle and get the true extent of the damage. I replaced all my tires last year and had an alignment done. There’s no reason a vehicle rear would jump to the right from a blown shock. Something else has to now be misaligned. You offer to labor free of charge if I buy the parts you damaged. All after taking $1200 from me already
Easy for tow drivers to get in and out of service center with flatbeds
I really appreciate the quality of service at this dealership. We purchased our vehicle used at a national chain so this was our first experience at Zeigler for service. I have experienced Mercedes and BMW service in the past and my experience here with Jeep was just as good if not better. They were very communicative with text alerts and calls. Our Jeep was fixed quickly and was returned clean too. It was also apparent that their staff teams work well together -- everyone knew their jobs and had a customer first attitude. Thank you!

Had a preapproval from capital one. Inquired about a couple renegades. I knew the features i wanted and inquired on particular renegades. I also had my trade in value from carmax on car i wanted to trade. Since im in arlington heights, i wanted everything set before driving out there. Joel texted me from zielger downers grove and said hed work on it and. I never heard back. Glad i didnt waste my time driving out there.
