How can you say for the walk-ins that I am wasting your time?! Not a good business owner!All the walk-ins please do not waste the owners time please! Do not come to this store or he will get angry at you for explaining couple staff about the treadmills! Not recommend!

Store Manager Mike is not a nice guy. Very rude, unfriendly. He needs to be fired. Selling used machines. Be careful. Will never buy stuff from them again . Buyer be ware.

My initial experience was positive and Mike the store manager was helpful and answered all our questions. He steered us to the Horizon treadmill though (produced by parent company Johnson), which is where things ultimately went downhill. I ordered my Horizon 7.8 treadmill (their top of the line model) in late December and waited a few weeks to get delivered in early January. Soon after getting set up, the incline function stopped working. I waited 3 weeks before Horizon responded to my request for service, another 2 weeks before the servicing company could schedule my service, another 2 weeks for Horizon to ship replacement parts, and now another 5 weeks for the servicing company to come back a second time. All told, I paid $2000 for a brand new treadmill that has not worked for 3 months. I know this is not solely the Johnson Fitness Stores fault, but they steered me toward a product that had low quality (broken from the get-go), and a brand with poor service (3 months waiting for warranty to be upheld), so I unfortunately cannot recommend that anyone use this stores services.

Looking for a specific massage chair Mike at Johnson cut me a supper deal had the chair in my house 4 days later.

They have a great gym equipment and theyre prices are great.

Do not buy a treadmill from this company . My treadmill broke after five weeks . I called to get it serviced took three weeks for someone to call me back and they are not going to service for another 6 weeks . Costumer service was great till they had my money . Treadmill broke end of April they can’t service till July 6 . Really disappointed

Great overall shopping experience - selection, advice, price, delivery and set up.I went to several exercise equipment stores in the area looking for a mid priced treadmill and decided that Johnson Fitness in Downers Grove was by far the best choice. Mike helped me on one day and Austin the other day. Both were knowledgeable and helped me look at all options (used and new) to help me make up my mind. I liked that they had a wide selection of manufacturers and models with clearly marked prices. I could easily see what I was getting at each price point and that I could try out the treadmills for as long as I liked. The no rush, no up-sell atmosphere was ideal for me. I finally chose a Lifespan machine and was very happy with the total delivered and installed price. The machine was delivered and installed 5 days after purchase. The 2 man crew was respectful of my house (white carpet) and delivered and set the machine up exactly where I wanted it. They confirmed that it was running as quietly and smoothly as the model I tried in the store. I like that I can call or email Johnsons with questions as opposed to spending hours online trying to reach a Manufacturer. If you need any kind of fitness equipment I would strongly recommend this reputable and well priced seller. Thanks Mike and Austin.

Wasnt too impressed with the place. The guy we talked to was trying to push a treadmill on us after we told him we didnt like it. Needless to say we got the treadmill somewhere else for much cheaper and better quality.

Owner is very great man. You can find most of the fitness equipment there.

We bought a treadmill from them and they described the differences in the brands and the models. They delivered it and installed it. Their service and delivery were great. I would definitely recommend them.

Very poor experience with staff member, Tony. Called another branch regarding floor model (in lieu of new equipment) and when followed up with this location was met with poor customer service, hostility and belittlement by staff member. This experience supports the popularity of online purchasing.

Decent selection of both new and used equipment with a friendly staff. Dave is particularly helpful.
