I was shopping for a treadmill on a Sunday; Top Fitness/Downers Grove was my last stop. Alexis M was very helpful in explaining the difference in the basic models, w/no sales pressure. There was a sales promotion ending that same day, but I told Alexis I had to go home & measure to be certain that the Spirit model would fit perfectly in my home. She said if I called back the next day, the sale price (including free delivery & set-up) would be honored over the phone. When I called to confirm the sale on Monday, Gared was very helpful, wrote my sale over the phone & said my Thursday delivery would be confirmed on Wednesday. On Wednesday I got a call saying my 3 hour window for delivery was 7-11am. On Thursday morning at 6:50am, the driver called to let me know he was 10 minutes away. The crew of 3 arrived promptly at 7am, & knew exactly what they were doing for the treadmill set-up; they were very nice & professional; in less than 1/2 hour, I was up & running. Thank you, Top Fitness, for a wonderful shopping experience where my total spent was approximately $1500 for my new treadmill & a mat.

Before I made the purchase of a rowing machine and bike, I visited most of the stores in the area. Not only does Top Fitness carry really good equipment, the staff (I worked with Alexis and Gerad) are so knowledgable about the stuff they sell and are really helpful in answering questions. What I really like was the no hard-sell approach. At other stores, I either had someone on me from the second I walked in or couldnt get helped at all. At TF, they let me try the machines at my pace, and they answered the questions I had, rather than trying to sell me on or push any particular piece of equipment. It was a great experience all around. Im pretty well set now, including the flooring I bought, but if I need anything else, Im going there first.

Earlier this year I bought 3k worth of dumbells and I just purchased an inspire ft2 functional trainer. Each time the staff was very helpful and friendly. Gerad was especially helpful and knowledgeable and was able to guide me to find exactly what I wanted. I couldn’t be happier with my purchases and I will be a return costumer the next time I need more fitness equipment.

The company itself needs to work on their shipping information with their supplier and relay them correctly to their customers. They also need to inform the customer regularly on what is going on and keep them updated. The company also needs to improve the customers login to reflect what is actually happening real-time with their order, the status of the order, when to expect the order and so on so forth. Customer service on the other hand has been great especially Jessica who has worked really hard to get me my order even a partial order, but because the timing came together correctly the partial order wasn’t really necessary. All in all Jessica did her job and provided me the best customer service within her powers. Great job on the customer service even though she was limited to all the resources. Thank you!!

I recently purchased a TRUE elliptical and am extremely satisfied with both the machine, and the customer service provided by Dalton Walker of Top Fitness! Not only did he honor the sales price listed at the time of my initial inquiry (it took me a few days to convince my husband :)), he also responded to any emails I sent him subsequently with either a very prompt email or phone call. Its refreshing to deal with an individual who is not just eager to make the sale, but wants you to be completely satisfied after the deal is done. Top Fitness will definitely be my go-to store for all of my fitness equipment from now on!

Gerard Cassello is by far the best salesperson I have dealt with in a very long time. I won’t bore you with all of the details, but there were a few glitches and Gerard responded promptly! Being older, I appreciate the time he took to explain things and he addressed all of my concerns. My husband and I was considering purchasing some dumb bells. We stopped into the store just to get some ideas. Gerad was very knowledgeable and professional. After Gerad patiently and satisfactory answered hundreds of questions regarding the selected fitness equipment. We decided to purchase the Inspire FT1 Functional Trainer, Helix H1000 Touch Lateral Trainer, the Classic Water Rower, and the additional accessories we needed to complete our fitness needs at this time. The Labor Day Sale pricing was reasonable and within our budget. Im happy to report that my husband and I use our new gym 3-6 times a week and we absolutely love the quality of all the products. Wow! At a time when fitness equipment pickings are slim, they not only had my desired item in stock but also got it delivered to me (on a private truck) in three days with no shipping charge! I had it in hand in three days even though Im 1000 miles away! Amazing service!

Made a large purchase. After having paid thousands of dollars, I did not receive all items until months later. Emails were ignored and false shipping information was provided. If you could find an alternative to this business, I would strongly recommend that you work with another vendor.

First-time home fitness equipment buyer. Shopped three retailers in the area and Precor was far and away the best experience. Scott and Gerard were very helpful, especially for a 50s-something runner who was new to home fitness equipment. Delivery was timely. I bought a floor-model, got a great price, but I did have a mild service issue in the first two weeks. The problem was a manufacturers issue. The response and support from Precor staff was flawless. I love the Spirit Stepper I purchased. One of the best things Ive ever bought. Only reason for not giving 5 stars: its the only fitness equipment purchase Ive ever made, so its not like I have a huge range of experience to compare. Next time Im in the market for something like this, Precor will be my first choice.

Gerard was awesome! I went to another home fitness store first and really liked their products but the prices were a bit high to me. So we went across the street to Precor because its a name I know and trust and we bought a stationary bike for about 1/2 the cost of the other place and its great. Being an older person, I didnt want something so heavy duty - just something to get the job done for me. This bike was a good choice.

I bought a used Life Fitness Elliptical machine from this store. They had a delivery company that specializes in delivering exercise equipment deliver my machine. They had to disassemble it to get it downstairs. There was no extra charge for disassembling and reassembling. During this process the heart rate monitor wire got frayed. the technician made a note of it. To my surprise I received a call from the delivery company asking to schedule the repair. They came out, made the repair and it works great. The machine had a couple squeaks when I bought it, I tightened a couple bolts and sprayed those with WD40 and its now works perfect. If I want to buy another piece of equipment they will be my first stop. Gerad or one of his associates will get my business. Thanks

The knowledge of the individuals who work at both the Butterfield & Aurora location are superior. They were able to talk to me about various different brands and give non-bias information on similar pieces equipment. We worked with an employee and the marketing manager and both were very pleasant to talk with and never pressured us into a purchase. My husband and I shopped around, went to various different retailers and the quality of the equipment was par at most, at top fitness they carry a brand INSPIRE, which in my personal opinion is the best brand for cables I’ve seen out there, it is very sturdy, the cables are smooth, and it provides a very easy and stress free work out. Although we had some hiccups on the delivery aspect, the marketing manager was responsive as to what was going on and why the delay, he followed up personally and did everything in his power to take care of the customer (myself) and you don’t see that from many retailers. He then called a few days before our actual delivery day and got it scheduled sooner (which was a very pleasant surprise). We also purchased our water tower from top fitness and obviously a great product and very competitive pricing! We also purchased a few other small miscellaneous items and are very pleased. In the future I’ll be looking for a few more pieces of cardio equipment and I will definitely bring my business back to Top Fitness!

Couldnt be happier with the selection and service. A few years ago I bought an Inspire M3 from Gerad, so I came back to buy a treadmill and water rower. With his help felt like I was very well informed on my purchase and was satisfied I got a fair price. The delivery was scheduled that week and went flawlessly. I noticed a minor problem with the treadmill the next day (a Saturday) and Gerad had a service tech at my house within hours who fixed the problem in 20 min. Very rare to experience this level of complete service nowadays.

Very easy experience. Wide selection of equipment so I found a few models that I could compare. I went home to research the models (and others) and then called back and easily agreed on a price. Delivery was available within 2 days and the guys had my elliptical assembled and the room cleaned up in under an hour. I think Precor is the most recognized name in cardio equipment and have been happy with their home models in this and a precocious treadmill purchase from here.

We been working with Downers Grove location for few years now. Every time we need something especially in cardio area, Gerad has always took care of us well as customers. All of our cardio equipment in our gym came from Top Fitness Store. If you are a private person or a commercial gym they most likely will have specific equipment you are looking for.

My husband and I had been looking for fitness equipment for a while. We always drove past precor as we thought it would be out of our price range. Finally, we decided to just check it out. Gerad, the manager, was awesome. He is super knowledgeable and took his time explaining all our options to us and made sure we were thinking about what would best meet our needs. We paid a bit more than what we expected but still got an amazing deal on a top quality product. Gerad even threw in a mat for us. Our elliptical arrived a couple of weeks ago and we love it.
