I absolutely love this coffee shop. The blended drinks are great but the breakfast croissants and dessert selection is what makes it. The inside is small but they have a couple tables outside which is where I usually like to hang out whilst sipping on a mocha. The staff is also friendly and quick.

I typically really enjoy this place, but just bought a Chicken Pesto sandwich today n they forgot the “Chicken.” Had to cook my own chicken at home cuz i didnt wanna drive all the way back home…

Wanted a cortado/Cubanito which is a shot of expresso with about the same amount of steamed milk as the expresso mixed together.. but instead they gave me an expresso shot and a little bit of cold milk on the side I asked if they could steam the milk a little bit and they charged me $2 for a lot of steamed milk on the side, I had told them how to make it but they didnt even bother to try. I spoke to the owner and she basically told me they were doing me a favor by steamimg up the milk which they charged me for.. honestly I WAS A REGULAR but not anymore sadly BECAUSE Ive had other similar things happen to me here but I wouldnt complaint until now.. really $2 for milk which Im only going to use about 2% of the portion and the rest is trash, not that $2 matters but im a regular here I thought I mattered, its the principle of the matter. I will now go to a coffee shop called Collaborative coffee in lakewood might be a little further but their coffee is delicious, with unique drinks and if they dont know they try I know the owner very friendly ppl.

I love this place, great sandwiches and blended drinks but tonight we just ordered sandwiches and I found a hair in mine. My hair is thick, straight, long, and black right now and my husbands is short and red so we know its neither of ours. My husband and I both went to Downey high and have lived here most our lives so weve eaten here a lot but tonight just completely grossed us out. Even so Im still giving them 2 stars instead of 1 just because everything here is usually amazing. Were super disappointed 😞

Always excellent service, great food and professional. However, by no fault of the owners, a man was sitting inside the shop enjoying his coffee, talking on the phone, with no mask on. He could have sat outside but didnt. The owner saw him, stopped and starred, but said nothing. The owner should be the one to tell him to please sit outside as a mask is required inside and there are signs every where that state that.

I love this place- the sandwiches never disappoint... I usually get the veggie bliss or the Turkey Provolone sandstone a toasted sour dough bread... super yummy....Support your local small business- im so glad they remained opened and didnt close down due to this horrible pandemic. highly recommend this place

Its really good 😋 great prices the staff is really nice, just one thing always check your sandwiches before you leave. The person preparing them always forgets to add something in my sandwich.

I went this morning to try out this place. I had seen other people post about this place having the LOX bagel with smoked salmon, cream cheese, capers and tomatoes and I wanted to try it out. Unfortunately they told me they no longer do this type of sandwich 🥺😥I tried their regular jalapeno bagel with cream cheese and a caramel ice blended coffee with soy. The bagel was good.Could use more jalapeno peppers and the coffee was great!

The food and drinks are good, but the service is absurdly slow. Small coffee shops can sometimes take longer than say a Starbucks, I get that, but a sandwich and drink shouldnt take 30+ minutes with only two people in front of you. Order ahead if possible or go elsewhere. I wont be bothering with this place again

This site is my first choice restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. when I I need a fair meal, this place comes right away to my mind. extremely good and food and a rich menu.helpful crew, and pleasant atmosphere. Also important, the bill is fair. I suggest this restaurant with great pleasure.

This is literally a coffee shop. Light music playing, the soft chatter of discussion. The location is small thus get full quickly. That being said, arriving here when it is not full makes it all the worthwhile.I really enjoy sitting there, with an horchata coffee, and not having much to worry about.

Last week I find a wonderful cafe shop. I want to recommend it to every people. If you have free time in the afternoon, I advise you can take a book you like to go there and buy a cup of coffee. The atmosphere is very quiet and you can enjoy your time. I think you can relax your body and heart here.

Love this place, I prefer coming here than any other brand name coffee shops. There is something nostalgic about this place, I enjoy my coffee outside in the morning. By the way a lot of locals stop by and is easy to start a conversation with people you know.

Good coffee friendly service

One of the best little coffee shops here in Downey. They get to know you my name and then they know what drinks you like to have when you come in it’s nice hometown feel. I see the same folks almost everyday as well. I only get coffee in the morning but a few times I have gotten the protein sandwich with turkey and avocado and it’s delish! Highly recommend!

In the busy city,it was a pleasure to get an excellent sandwich and great coffee. The atmosphere of the café is relaxing and pleasant.

Great little cafe hidden away in the neighborhood. Better than most coffee and donut shops when it comes to their brew but definitely not a coffee specialist. Id say a nice well rounded place with great food options.

My new favorite place to eat, they offer a wide variety of sandwiches and coffee also they are locally owned and the atmosphere is very good. Place is usually not too crowded the food is also very affordable if you are in the area definetly stop by and try them out.

This review has nothing to do with the staff (as they are only taught what to do as of any procedural aspect) yet the business practices of the coffee shop.I ordered an iced Americano drank it then proceeded to ask for a cup of filtered water to drink.As I asked if my Americano was made with tap water I was told that hot water kills everything its science... it does not kill lead, nitrates, or pesticides that are in tap water.How much does a water purifier cost at least $100 dollars with a tax credit on top of that. I had wish I had known before hand.

We got their first before other customers and he game them their order first. Highly unprofessional in any business especially if we have a place to get to. We didnt but if we did that would have made it worse. We ordered sandwiches and salads and he choose to make a heated crosiant and drinks for other people.

This cafe is conveniently located on 3rd St. (of course) directly across from the Krikorian Downey Cinema 10. My wife and I visited this basic sandwich and coffee shop a couple of times. We highly enjoyed their vegetarian sandwhich on dark bread. This is another very good hole-in-the-wall cafe with both inside and sidewalk seating. it even has a sofa, so its not unusually to see patrons relaxing and read the paper or viewing their smartphones at a leisurely pace.

Free WiFi. Indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Great coffee. Good food. Very Downey. Great spot for locals.
