I’m a new rider. I initially went in for a jacket and gloves for a riding course and was greeted by friendly, knowledgeable staff who helped me get exactly what I was looking for. I went back after the course for more gear and wasn’t disappointed again. All my questions were answered, nobody tried to sell me anything I didn’t need, and made me feel comfortable-even though I told them I had no idea what I was doing. Definitely going back for whatever I need later!

Melanie was super helpful and all around awesome! She helped me pick out my first helmet and hooked us up big time. She transferred the comm system over from my other bike, installed a better mic, and she even cleaned up some scuffs on my boyfriend’s helmet. She went above and beyond for sure. All in all would 10/10 recommend cycle gear to all my friends!

The staff was extremely friendly, candid about what products were worth the price and which werent, and I never had to wait to be helped nor did I ever feel under any pressure to hurry up as I took my sweet time trying out lots of options. Every person was kind and helpful and fun to talk to and well-humored, the prices were fair, the inventory better than you might expect, and I anticipate Ill be a customer for life moving forward, thanks primarily to Cody who got me to try the store out in the first place, and helped me get the right helmet for my needs. And I was a total stranger to him and the store before today.Strongly recommend with 5 stars, I cant imagine you could go wrong here!

Always very helpful and they always recommend good gear and make sure you find what youre looking for. Friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to answer all questions. If youre going to visit more than a few times, definitely get the RPM membership. It will save you a ton of money in the long run if youre going to get most of your gear here.

I am in this store far more often than I should be, and I am always greeted with a smile. Ive bought helmets, heated gear, jackets, tires. shop tools, boots, and more and theyre always knowledgeable and helpful. They really do bend over backward to make sure their customers have what they need for safe, enjoyable motorcycling. Tons of helmet options, and what they dont have in stock, they will track it down and bring it in. I cant see any reason to shop anywhere else.

Just bought my first bike in 35 years (mid-life crisis? Maybe.) Stopped in to cycle gear to see if they had any good deals, left with a reasonably priced Helmet and jacket. The staff were helpful and attentive. Ill definitely shop here again.

My son is looking for his first motorcycle, we don’t have one in the family and we don’t have much experience. We knew we had a lot to learn and everyone at cycle gear was super helpful getting us up to speed.Leigh, the manager, was particularly helpful. He got my son set up with the right safety gear, made sure we were able to take advantage of the Labor Day sale as well as the cycle gear loyalty program, he also provided a lot of insight into motorcycle safety as well as the joys of riding.Before we went to cycle gear, my son wasn’t committed to wearing a helmet, jacket, gloves, etc. but after Leigh got all of the right gear to fit my son’s 6’4” frame, my son was good.Thank you to everyone at cycle gear for their stories and their time. I’ll rest a little easier knowing my 22yo son is more likely to wear stylish well-fitting gear!

So, lets be clear. Im 53. And I am a brand new rider. None of my friends ride and I just bought a used bc500x. I needed gear. I did my homework. Looked at reviews from multiple websites. And then I couldnt buy squat. Nothing in my size anywhere. Except cycle gear on line.Stuff comes in and I go to try it on. Of course,I still dont know squat. Not really. I need help. Did this helmet really fit? Whats the trick to getting my glasses on? do I really need those big armored boots? Did the jacket just look good, or did it it for me proper.I met Cameron. He helped me out. Answered my question completely. Really knowledgeable and professional. I did not feel stupid. I felt informed. He shot me straight. Which is all I wanted. I left with boots gloves, a helmet and a jacket.It was an excellent experience. He needs a raise. I came in there slightly intimidated and he put it to rest and took care of my needs. Highly recommend him and this store.

I only shop at riverdale (most employees in Draper are rude!) Well was proved right… tried to check out and had a female employee on her phone texting instead of helping me and made another employee ring me out. Come to find out that’s an assistant manager!!!!!! As a business owner this is NOT how business is done at all!!!! But I did put a 5 star because for the first time an employee set up an actual ride for the community!!!! Kody I believe was the young man’s name I met Saturday put together a beautiful ride across the county!!!! Just met him yesterday but after talking to him and listening to his knowledge of motorcycles me and our club will return to this location!!!!! That’s the only reason this store will get a 5 star and we will only be back to see that young man!!! Now let’s get the rest of your store together with employees who care about the community!!!!!!!

I have been shopping at Cycle gear in draper for years and have spent a ton of money there. The service used to be friendly and welcoming. As of late its full of attitude. Spending money in this store and being talked down to by employees is getting old. I recommend moto united right around the corner or wrights in Salt Lake. Both of those stores have friendly employees and a welcoming atmosphere.

Had no idea what I was doing when sizing for a helmet. The salesperson took a look at my head and helped guide me through the entire process. Great experience!

Theyve been very helpful to a new rider. One of the employees whose name I cannot recall in particular was awesome. She was helping 3 of us with helmet fitment, taking phone calls, and offering advice and answering questions for all of us at the same time. Remained very personable, and was super efficient.

Stopped in yesterday to get some new gear and the team was super helpful!!!! Got treated excellent from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out! I like there is a place to get motorcycle accessories. It was busy Saturday and they were busy selling helmets. Good for them. I picked up the oil filter I needed and waited to pay.I have been here when it was not busy and had no employee ask if I needed anything. That is a place for improvement.I will continue to come to Cycle gear.

Got there right at close to buy a her for my wife. As they were closing the doors they saw that the helmet she had on was not the right size and probably wasnt entirely the safest. They held the store open and made sure we were taken care of when they definitely did not have to. Very happy with the experience.

Picked up helmet, boots, goggles, gloves, and jersey for both my boys. Had the sizes colors and styles they liked and needed. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Great store had all the gear we needed for my wife and they price match with RevZilla so you know youre getting deals as good online. They also offer great warranties on gear for no extra cost. Found the staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I think its always a good call to go to a physical store like this too actually see and try what youre getting and get real advice rather than buying blindly online.

Great prices and friendly and helpful staff. Being new to riding I was pleased to have someone help me out with what I was looking for, offer me options that were within my budget, and take the time to teach me about the products in was interested in.

Shop is well laid out, good selection of gear and tons of helmets on hand. Could use a few more boot and shoe options however in store, but that downside is made up for by the staff. They all seem quite knowledgeable about their products and are always fun to talk to, while simultaneously striving to be helpful to all customers even when busy. Orders online and purchases in store have been great through Cycle Gear.

These guys know their stuff and are super helpful. Cycle Gear always have the best prices. Its nice to be able to go into the store instead of buying on line.

I purchased 4 qt of oil. When I got to the counter I noticed two had different price tags. When rung up none of the price tags matched the register. When I pointed it out the salesperson, they checked the computer and found a different price that was not applied at checkout. Very confusing. Next time Ill purchase somewhere Im more confident in getting the correct price and not be overcharged.

Shopping for birthday gift. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Confirmed if helmet and jacket didn’t fit we could bring back and exchange. We had a % discount coupon with the first purchase. The gear didn’t fit right at the birthday. When we took it back to exchange, the cashier wasn’t sure about the discount being reapplied (different staff member than the one that originally helped us). But they got it squared away and applied the discount as the original staff member promised. Overall happy with the gear, happy with the service, will go back as gear or hardware items are needed.

10/10 only bike shop that would mount and balance my tire without buying it from their shop. Said it might take a day and had it done in 30min. All employees were super respectful, helpful, and a pleasure to work with!

I had to make several trips to get the right size and there wasnt a problem for the staff to try and get it right. It took three trips but I am happy with the results. I would recommend you check Cycle Gear out before you purchase anything relating to motorcycle riding.

Unfortunately I’ll never spend another dime here. I purchased some riding gear in store but 3 helmets were out of stock so they said they’d ship to my house. Product never showed up. They use ontrac to do their deliveries which is a huge mistake. Cycle gear customer support told me they would look into it and get back to me in 5-8 business days. Lol. Ya ok I’ll hold my breath!This was a week after my “guaranteed” delivery date. After I complained about their terrible customer service they proceeded to tell me that they apologize for how I feel. Not apologize for their terrible service. Then my ticket was “escalated” and I found out why the csr was so bad at her job. She learned from her manager!She proceeded to tell me that they will not tolerate me telling them they have terrible service. Don’t you love the world we live in now?Dear customer service manager: if you can’t deal with upset customers who paid for something that you never delivered on, find a new job.Rather than figure out what they did wrong they pin it on a customer who paid for product that they didn’t ever get.Are you with me?Don’t worry! She ended up extending me a one-time courtesy and refunded my money for something I never got.Wow thanks for you courtesy for not stealing my money!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I am a new rider and they took the time to walk me through all the gear, why and why not to have it, helmet sizing, and getting one that works with my glasses.

After calling around and not being able to find anyone to change a tire quick enough I called cycle gear. Was super nervous because people who worked there prior always scratched or ruined my wheels. I went in and I kid you not Cody (cycle gear employee) had my wheels done in 10 min and no scratches on front or back!!!!!! I used to go to motostation and a few other places to change my track tires and Cody is the goat!!!!!!!! Words can’t express my gratitude to finally find a shop to do my tires and be quick and careful!!!! Prices are sky high, service sucks and my online order showed up over a week late! By that time I went and got the exact same tire from my local store for $40 less.

I went in to by a new shield for my helmet. I found the one I needed and purchased it and the employee offered to help me put it on. She cleaned the new one after installation and even cleaned the old one so I would have a backup. Great customer service.

Service was 5 stars all the way. 4 stars because the selection of items, apart from the helmets, were fairly small, especially for the women. Will definitely be back!

First time using cycle gear, will never, ever! use them again. Ordered a new lithium battery that was replacing my old one that died. I knew I had a ride this weekend schedule for Saturday so I double checked their shipping times and placed the order on Wednesday, as they said they would ship within 24 hrs and communicated to me an estimated date for delivery for the next day July 22nd since I live 45 mins away from them. Next day came by, nothing. Checked tracker - updated date July 23rd by end of day; I was like: no problem I will still get it before my ride for the weekend and it only takes me like 10 mins to swap them, no big deal. Today came by and after waiting for the shipment all day checking the tracker- nothing it’s 9:30pm so I go check the tracker- it now says updated delivery date July 26th. Now I’m not getting my battery until after the weekend, missing my scheduled ride. Do yourself a favor and order through Amazon - they had lots of options and prime 2 day shipping, I just wanted to give local businesses a chance and they screwed it up big time.

Horrible experience. The manager who exchanged my boots only put 1 boot in the box. Not only was he rude, he was incompetent. I was leaving early the next morning for a 1200 mile trip. I had to ride in my tennis shoes. Thanks Cycle Gear.
