Awesome store. They have alot of different stuff and reasonably priced. They also have an area you can sit down and read an educational health book and even purchase it. Also the cashier Tyler was very helpful.

I pulled up at 8:30 p.m. and watched the guy Bolt the door shut as I approached. Then they all avoided eye contact. Kind of frustrating hearing the mission story about why the store closes at 8:36 p.m. and how the customer comes first, however, Normally every other time I have a good experience and usually purchase a lot of products. I dont mean to be too hard on you guys. I like the store I like the employees

Not what it used to be... This store was incredible a year or two ago. The produce department was the best produce selection around for miles! Sometimes better than larger cities like the Quad Cities or Madison. Id here of people traveling 40+ miles just for their high quality selections. Well, now for over the past year, the produce department seems unkept, rotten/wilted/bruised, and carries typical small town options. No more unique, rare to see produce options. Very few local options. I have not been able to buy a decent pepper without soft spots all year besides the farmers market. For the grocery part, its still pretty good, but things are never stocked like they used to be. Not many new options to look for, but it works. Cleanliness seems to be kept up with, including the bathrooms, so no complaints there. Just wish the workers had more passion for what they are selling, or maybe its the fact the store either cant keep their workers around (high turnover it seems, always new faces) and the workers that stay are overwhelmed. Either way, the store has taken a turn for the worse in this past year especially. I truly hope they find the good help they need, and can restore Dubuques Natural Grocers to, and beyond its former glory.

Anne was superbly helpful, finding a strain of wheat for me that I need in sourdough baking! She even took my number, boxed up the required bags for me and set them aside for pickup when it came in! I would give her a 6 star rating. Then...When I arrived, I told Andre, who was working at the register, why I was there. She treated me like she doubted that there would be anything set aside, nor that she would have the ability to find it! I just brushed off the attitude and asked her to check while I shopped.When I returned, she was even more disbelieving of the order that was in the box. And I quote, “What happened?! Did your husband order this for you?” Her general attitude was disrespectful and full of disdain. I don’t understand the implications or intention of that question.I have no husband and when I did, I handled all the grocery shopping as I was the one who made the menus. I was shocked. I’ve got feminist friends that would have verbally cut her to shreds!! That intrusive question was really inappropriate on SO many levels that I was speechless.Before I retired, I had a seminar business teaching communication skills to managers all over the country. I would have loved to give her some real tips on sensitivity and good customer service that leads to retention and loyalty. She gets a one star rating, only because everyone gets a chance to grow!I experienced both ends of the spectrum and will remain a cautious customer, no longer expecting rock star service from anyone but Anne. I hope I am pleasantly surprised in the future.

I could kick myself for not shopping here sooner. While the staff is wonderful and the store is very clean and organized. My selling point is the variety of products. The prices steer also very agreeable. I go in for one or two things and leave with much more. They also have a free rewards program and if you forget to bring a shopping bag they keep small boxes right at the registers!

They have everything you could want for eating healthier or vegan. The people were kind and helpful.

Nice clean store, wide variety of speciality items with a focus on organic produce.Wide assortment of vitamins, oils, protein powder, and other suplimentials. Prices are a bit higher but products are of good quality

Variety of items! Some sale prices better than box stores.

They almost always gave the hard to find items for my weird diet, and the employees are super helpful, kind, and knowledgeable about their product.

This is a store of the future! Abundance of organic produce, compostable bags. They don’t have bags at check out, you have to bring your own boxes or reusable bags that I found amazing considering how much waste humanity populates on daily basis! All veggies and fruits were top notch, very fresh and reasonably priced. I used to shop at Whole Foods living in nyc and Chicago but found this store is even a better alternative.

Wonderful new addition to Dubuque! The store is very well organized, and the staff are always very pleasant and helpful. They have a great variety of organic and healthy options, including a diverse selection of probiotics. They also carry a ton of supplements, especially for working out which contain the highest quality and most ‘natural’ ingredients! I would definitely recommend this place to others!

Two years ago, my husband and I were in Las Cruces, NM, and the only store we shopped at while he was undergoing treatment for three weeks was Natural Grocers. Organic, awesome fruits and vegetables, grass-fed meat; anything natural that you could possibly want or need!This past September, I was in Scottsdale, AZ for a month and my main go-to store was Natural Grocers. I am allergic to corn and wheat and was so excited that I could buy good organic gluten and corn-free options at such an amazing store!I am SO EXCITED that we FINALLY have a store that is listening to the “Health Heart” of Dubuque and the country!!Thank you Natural Grocers for coming here!!

I’ve always tried to be more aware of what I’m eating, especially now that I’ve been eating more plant based this past two years.We moved from Cincinnati area last year and I have been missing the quality of produce and affordable vegan foods that Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and even the local Kroger had!When I heard that Natural Grocers were opening a store in Dubuque, you couldn’t get me to shut up about it.Now that NG brought all the vegan essentials at such a good price and 100% organic produce into Dubuque, I’m more than ecstatic that I no longer have to pay ridiculous prices at Hy-Vee for the same vegan products.Thank you Natural Grocers, for coming to Dubuque and making me the happiest vegan living in such a rural farming community.
