Love coming here for any party planning and buying stuff you probably wont get anywhere else. Many variations and options for numerous themes of party, love that about this place. Little expensive sometimes but worth it if you have a unique need and cant get anywhere else.

This store did not provide me with the best experience. I went to the store today even though I had ordered a costume from Party City online and had been assured it would come on the Friday before Halloween. I checked the shipment status online and it indicates it wont arrive until November 2, which is after Halloween, so I wont be able to use the costume then. So, despite having a costume on the way from them that will be late, I decided to give Party City another chance by going in store to try to purchase one. After browsing what was left in the store (which wasnt much), I proceeded to the cashier to pay for the costume. The costume was supposed to include two components in the bag, so I asked the cashier if it had a mask. The cashier claimed that I would have to purchase a second mask, which was hard to hear because she was speaking so softly. I tried to explain to her that the mask was missing from the costume. She advised me to grab one because it was missing a mask and I could receive a discount. When I go to get one, the cashier has already started taking the order of the next customer. When I try to pay, she asks if I have a discount code, and I tell her I dont. She said that you cant get a discount if you dont have one, despite the fact that she had just stated that I would because half of the costume was missing. She then asks whether I want to pay full price for the costume. I tell her no, and she tells me theres nothing she can do. At this time, Ive had enough and walked out of the store, since I had to return to work. All of this was a complete waste of time.

Something is very wrong going on with all this big business. This location have just young people working. Short staffing. Saturday afternoon should have more staff around helping costumers.We ordered online balloons to avoid being waiting in store. Complete disappointed.I walked inside the store and direct myself to the balloons area. Nobody greets me, no body knew where my order where. Very rude attitude all of them.How hard is to see the picture online in the order and try to match it? My order included 14 ballons I was receiving 9 instead. When I asked they gave me 3 pink, wrong color.I have to demand being corrected. This all is happening because the bad salaries and so high cost living right now. Nobody wants to work anymore for a few dollars when they cant even pay rent 😒 🙄 😥

Don’t go to Party City on Pleasant Hill Rd in Duluth! I’m giving 2 stars because the young lady behind the balloon station was helpful in showing me where the Sweet 16 items were after I stood in this line. I was then told I need to pay for my items then get back in the balloon line to have them blown up. After standing in the checkout line for 20 minutes, I was told I have to wait for over an hour if I want the balloons blown up. My issue is I had already waited in the balloon line, so why make customers get out of the line to go pay for the balloons if you’re going to make them wait a ridiculously long time again. It’s called communication. Tell customers that or have signs posted so people aren’t wasting their time standing in your lines if they don’t have that kind of time to wait. They can spend their money somewhere else!

Staffs are friendly.Much selections about party and balloons, but they was dead on second day. So sad💸

Today visited the party city for buying birthday decoration. It’s similar to all party city and they organized all same . So it avoid unnecessary time to check all rows for pickup what you need. Cost is reasonable and good for any birthday party, graduation and Halloween costumes for all ages . Price is reasonable and good for once a year party .

Purchased some helium balloons for my three-year-old granddaughters birthday and they didnt even last 24 hours. Bought them around 5 the afternoon before and by 11 a.m. party time the next morning some of them were on the ground already.

I love Party City, they make partys easy! Everything you all under one roof. Give bags goodies to stuff in them all the right color too. Amazing staff helpful with balloons. Make Halloween costume shopping easy. Our boy loves it here

Never have items in stock, nor do they go an extra mile to help you find it.

The lines are long and its not enough people that can check you out faster. The store can be cleaner and stocked up with items. If its a holiday near have enough staff so people arent spending 30 minutes in line. With only 2 registers open and the cashiers dont move with urgency if its a long line.

They had what I needed but it says mask required and this one customer that was in line behind me had hers below her chin completely off her face just talking on her phone (apparently you need to take your mask off to talk on the phone 🤣) and kept moving closer to me. The employee saw her with her mask off and saw her keep moving closer to me even after me moving away from her but the employee didnt say anything to her. It was super disappointing. They also had me waiting in line forever because they only had one register open.

I used to love going to party City. It was actually my very first job. Today when I went into the store it was poorly lit and there was no one to help any of the customers including me. It was also so disorganized and there were items (toys, candy etc.) all over the place. When I worked there we kept our store in order and assisted our customers. This was not the worst experience but it definitely was not good. I left without buying anything and went somewhere else.

This is a fun place to shop.We found exactly what we needed, quickly, and the prices were reasonable.The staff was friendly and efficient.Positive experience and lots of fun stuff to look at..

I got something nice for hollween this year

I never write reviews. However, a cashier named Carlos was very respectful and a kind young man. His customer service was awesome! I cant say the same about the other cashiers. But, living 2 minutes away from this party city, I always come here. Its nice to have people like him. Please Party City hire more people like that young man. Or at least train your cashiers to be more respectful!!!

I am not one to usually write a bad review on a store. However, the service that I received was beyond upsetting. I attended this location of Party City on May 1, 2019 to pick up an order that I place online. I place the order on April 29, for a balloon pick up for a friends birthday celebration. On April 30 at 8:00 a.m. I received an email stating that my order had been cancelled. Due to the fact that the store did not open until 9:30 I had to wait to get and explanation (which was not included in the email). When I contacted the store an asked why my order had been cancelled the manager, advise that there was a shortage on helium, and that there is nothing that she could do. I asked if possible could she transfer the order to another store that was closer.She rudely said no advise that there is nothing that she could do and disconnected. I asked if the remainder of my order was okay and would it be ready for pick--up the following day. She advise yes. Fast forwarded to the next day, I arrive to the store for my pick up and advise of my name and the confirmation email. My order was not ready, (which was advise that it would be) I ask the associate at the store if they had helium and she advise yes. When the manager(same manger from the phone call) comes over to confirm my information, she hands me a bag and walks off ( I paid additional money to have the balloons Inflated. I asked where is the rest of my order she stated, did you not receive the second email this morning the other half was cancelled, I proceed to check my email, and advise that I had no additional emails advising that the second of my order was cancelled other than the 1st one stating that 1st balloon order was cancelled, she stated well you should have received the email She proceeds to take out a tablet showing that the email was sent. At this point, I am showing the manager my junk/spam, inbox, as well deleted nothing from Party City advising that the second half had been cancelled due to it being out of stock. When placing the order it did not show item is currently out of stock. I kindly ask did she have something similar to what they cancelled.She goes to the back and comes back out with my order request. She than hands the pack of balloons to me and walks off. I advise that within the order, I paid extra to have them inflated, she than proceeds to tell me that it was not showing up on Party City end, I showed her the confirmation email, and she stated that it still was not showing up.She state that she could blow them up however, she would have to charge my card, I advise that within the original payment, it charge for the inflation. She than says because it not showing on our end we have to charge you the cost of inflation. I state okay although, I showed the her that I had been charged. As she takes my balloons and began inflation, she pops three of balloons (in which she did replace). However, she was making smart comments, as she proceed to hands me my balloon, she mumble something under breathe. I completely understand if the Manager was having a bad day, however, to treat an individual like was treated, has made me vow not to spend any many at this location of Party City.

Karen, she call herself a manager but does not have any manager manners, rude saying that she call me if I wanted my balloons, why I wouldnt want my balloons if I pay for them and wanted them for noon came 50 minutes after noon to make sure they were ready, they were NOT READY she said to wait 15-20 minutes for my balloons needed to call another manager to have them ready. The other manager help me getting the balloons quicker that is why im ratting 2 star not one star.

I needed to get party supplies really fast for a birthday party that slipped my mind. The helpful staff helped me find what I needed and I was in and out in no time with everything needed before the party started. Will definitely use them again.

Why the 2 hour waits Party City? It’s becoming my last resort! They have everything on hand, a bit pricier than Amazon BUUUT, you and leave same day. Order balloons for my sons birthday party, the night before but still had to wait at pick up. Maybe they’re under staffed, but should atleast have employees everywhere on the weekends!

I was a late arrival to pick up some important supplies, and Candice (manager on duty, I assume) decided to honor the closing time that was posted online, even though it meant staying open 45 minutes longer. Very professional gesture, and appreciated as a customer.

Poor customer service. Only 1 cashier and when she paged for cashier backup the cashier arrived 15 minutes after the call. The manager had to reprint my receipt for balloon order (which was fine). However, the manager left while customers were waiting at the balloon counter and in line with only one cashier working.

I came here to shop for candy and few party items . Throughout my visit I had to use the restroom worst mistake of my life . I had just came from a buffet for mother’s day . It Was HUMAN BOWEL MOVEMENT on the wall chunks with a little tissue left. Tissue hanging out the toilet 🚽 pure disgusting . When I went to tell the associates they just blinked and burst out in LAUGHTER are you serious? This location did not strike me as sanitary make sure you bring hand sanitizer and face mask 😷.

This is a great store and all but we had a bad experience with the balloons we went and gave them a girl gender reveal balloon turns out that when we went to pop it the paper came out blue(boy). Next time they should label the ballon with the persons name on it and gender so they won’t make this mistake again.

I am a large woman and went to get me a Halloween costume and they have none that fits anything above 1x. They should be ashamed since this is America and there are plenty of women my size.

Tried to get a bag of balloons filled for a bday party today. Employee told us there was no helium. Meanwhile there was 40+ helium tanks for sale. The employee was literally filling up balloon decorations with one of the pink helium tanks. Ask how come no helium and she replied “helium shortage for months now”$44 helium tank for $1 of balloons? No thanks.

I wanted to go there to get a a Penny wise costume for Halloween, but they were sold out. I guess I waited too long to go. I went the Saturday before Halloween was on Tuesday, and the store was nuts! It was like total mayhem!! A lot of their Halloween costumes are over priced, and made cheaply, too.

Good selection. Friendly staff that saw to my balloon order quickly. Only thing to note is the check out counter is confusing. If you want to have balloons inflated, you buy them first, then the cashier brings them to the balloon counter. Wait time is unknown. For me, about 5 balloons took 6 minutes.

When you order online it makes a $1.00 purchase on your card and when you pick up in store it supposedly refunds it, they do not always get all the items you requested, as they will say they have plenty of it...for me to get. Wish they would try harder so the business can continue....

They ran out of receipt paper and cashier didnt put the roll in for 5 seconds.First They lied to us by saying can I have the email before checking out items. I said no but they didnt disclose the part that they wont print out the receipt before checking out so the customers would pay for the items but can not and will never not be able to return or exchange or the worst they would tell you are the thieves because without the receipt there is no proof of purchase. So I asked the cashier where is the paper receipt and now she finally said we dont have any thats why I asked you for the email! The most ridiculous and unprofessional thing you ever hear from a business . So there is only one line of checking out and they finally had the manager coming in install the paper in for 5 seconds and several receipts coming out before mine due to the staff incompetence .Rude and incompetent! Horrible experience.The worst part is they lied but didnt even apologize to the customers because they think its ok not to hand customers paper receipts after the legit purchases.

This store is by far the most unprofessional place I have ever seen in my life. My daughter filled out a job application a few weeks back. She returned their phone call and to no avail never recieved a phone call back, very unprofessional spoke to the manager and of course he was black, didnt have any idea who she was! How does one operate a store and not know about what goes on in their establishment. I spend thousands of dollars with party city because I have a catering business. I will be taking my business elsewhere. When you let my people run things and handle business they get some sort of god complex! He has no idea that my is at the top of her class and didnt apply to the job because she needed to do so, it was because she wanted to.

Tons of options for party supplies. Prices arent great, but theyre not insanely overpriced. Staff doesnt move very quickly with any task so leave plenty of time of youre planning on getting balloons or if you need help with anything.

Gwinnett Market Fair3675 Satellite Blvd, Duluth, GA 30096Prior to coming into this location, I looked up the items I wanted online to make sure they were available. I didnt submit an online order bc I wanted to look around still (sometimes things appear diff online than in person). I arrived to the store and was told that what was on the floor was all that I had access to for the particular theme I wanted. I mentioned the reason I came to their location was because it showed more than enough (8) of the item I wanted, available online. I was told, Oh yes, but thats ONLY online, not here, that stuff is packed away in the back because of Halloween stuff.The employee basically admitted that it was available, they were just unwilling to bring it out at the time. Since she mentioned,Only online I went home and submitted the order and got an order #. The website says pickups will be available within 2 hours I submitted this order online at night, so I waited 3 hours after their posted scheduled opening hours to call and check on my order. I called the store and got sighs and heavy breaths, got left on hold for 10 mins, and was finally transferred to Stephanie. She had nothing to affirm other than but what can we do if its not available? Was unable to explain why it showed in stock online but not at the store it showed in stock for.I was never greeted upon entrance, or assisted, or approached for help finding anything.Apart from the blatant lack of professionalism, I also encountered a huge, LIVE waterbug in one of the aisles. This is supposed to be a one stop shop and when it comes to describing this store inconvenient is an understatement. Ill stick to Walmart and the Dollar store in the future.

Unless you just do not want to pick your own items, do not bother with on line order. My order was under the alternative pick up name therefore difficult to find. Then the cashier had to ring each item again because the register would not acknowledge the on line ticket. All in all not a time saver.
