They just bought some of my old dvds which is cool because: I dont need these, and bc its nice when store will buy my old stuff so that I dont need to deal with all the extra steps of selling things on marketplace. But also, I just came in five minutes before closing (to pick up my stuff dropped off last week for appraisal) and they were way accommodating.They were cool, too. The people working there were just cool. Gotta review them in my car before I leave because they were that good

ALWAYS PAY IN CASH HERE. DO NOT accept the discount they offer you! It will sign you up for a magazine subscription and account with FYE, both of which will start automatically charging your credit card unless you call and cancel both of them. A total pain. But if you pay in cash at the store you can find some cool items! Items are a bit pricey but expected in a novelty store.

Cute merchandise, but only shop when exactly what you want is on sale otherwise it is overpriced, and then sometimes it still is. Dont fall for the magazine scam. And if you are applying for a job here, make sure you have even your birth certificate readily available...? What? Is there a Trump sticker in the window that I didnt see?

I hate the mall but I adore this store. Such an awesome selection of pop culture items and very friendly, informed service. There are very good, highly discounted deals to be found if you are willing to dig and/or cast a wide net.

I love the Japanese t shirt graphics and overall pop culture memorabilia you can buy. Im a world music listener and can usually find pop music from the countries Im looking for here. I always stop in when at the mall.

This place has some really cool stuff. It is more of a teenager place though. Like before you find out what price things should be.

Friendly (non pushy) staff and a good selection of pop merchandise. Its always fun to see whats new in this store, as well as to peruse the clearance items. My only complaint is that the ac seems to be turned down to 50 degrees and I freeze very easily, so if I forget to bring a sweatshirt, I cant stay as long as I would otherwise.

I love this store!They have good deals and the employees here are nice! To all of you who are like Dude, they scammed me! Or didnt tell me I had to pay monthly for a loyalty system thing!, its your own fault for not asking. They have great merchandise and sure, somethimes its over priced, but its a great store for people like me who love all kinds of nerdy things! Awesome selection of any kind of odd item you would ever imagine. Plus any kind of fanboy item from marvel to anime. They have many large high price items that you cant find in many other places which is fantastic. They offer great discounts, and membership. I could spend hours just browsing through half the stuff they have. They have a great selection of movies that you cant find hardly anywhere else even online nowadays which is a great thing! If youre ever looking for a gift for that special someone or someone that has very particular tastes this is the place to go, as you can find any kind of oddball item or fanboy or girl items. Service is great Ill staff members and were very knowledgeable on a very large range of niche books movies and collectibles.

Ended up walking out without buying my stuff. The guy at the checkout line was ringing up another customer (there was one person ahead of me and then myself, and possibly someone behind me) and they had a conversation for literally 10 minutes (longer Im sure but I ended up leaving) before another guy came up and started ringing up the lady in front of me. That took about another 5 minutes before some lady who looked like she worked at the mall interrupted they guy ringing the lady up and they started having a conversation about something (all while the other guy was still talking to the same customers as mentioned before.) Waited in line for a good 10-15 minutes before just leaving my movie on a shelf and walking out. Its great to have conversations with your customers but at some point you need to stop and realize theres others people there. 15 minutes in line so you can talk about things not related to the store at all is ridiculous. Wont be going back.

This new store has all sorts of stuff to bring to the table! Collectors items to comic book characters, Cds, DVDs, clothes, electronics, EVERYTHING! If there was one place in Duluth I could or had the chance to spend thousands of dollars on, it would be FYE! Thanks for making your store an addicting place to shop! Lol.

I adore this store! It kinda reminds me of a more toned down version of hot topic. They have a lot japanese candy too which is hard to find where i live. Im especially excited about some of the starter subscription boxes they have and they arent any more expensive either.

The store is in the Miller Hill Mall, near the food court. A person can purchase tees, bobble lheads, music, movies, etc. The only thing I find upsetting is it is a small store with shelves and racks crammed in together. An active child - or a person in a wheelchair, would not go in. But, if you want to locate a momento from a favorite movie or song this is the place..

Jake at the Duluth location is AWESOME!! I tried calling the Burnsville location three times and no one picked up (apparently something may be up with their phones?). Not only did Jake offer to reach out to the Burnsville store, but he also checked on the pricing and availability for the product I was looking for! Seeing as hes nowhere near Burnsville, he didnt have to do that! Now THATS great customer service!

If you love all things pop culture this is the store for you. Wide range of Funko Pops and anything else you could need from your favorite movies and tv shows. They even have some DVDs Ive only seen there so if youre looking for something special Id suggest stopping down there and checking it out.

Over Priced and watch out for SCAMS! Employees will try to sign you up for a loyalty program not telling you that it includes a monthly fee after 30 days!So many stores have loyalty programs I honestly sign up throw the card in my wallet and toss the rest of the junk. My fault for not looking more closely at the material. But talk about an EXTREMELY DISHONEST practice for employee to not disclose this to unwitting customers.When I found myself being charged for this garbage a called the number on the card to cancel. Company REFUSES to refund people they SCAM then the person in India on the other line reads a quick script to inform you that you wont be charged further then HANGS UP ON YOU before you can file a formal complaint!I will never shop that this even more overpriced Sam Goody again and look forward to watching this garbage company go out of business as this will be the likely result of their terrible customer service and basic practices.PS. I wish I could give this zero stars

An employee by the name of Mitch asked me if I wanted to join a loyalty program and save 10%. I said ok and began to sign up, once I signed up he told me I got free magazines too and to circle 3 I assumed they just teamed up with entertainment weekly, time ect as tgis is supposed to be a professional retail store (lmfao). Anyway Mitch and I where talking and he said I wouldnt bother reading the terms of service there is a lot there at this point I still believe that I am at a real store where they dont intentionally scam you but then this dude hands me a form that says I am now signed up for 2 paid subscription services (he never mentioned they where paid, or that I was now signed up for 2 paid services I couldnt afford whoops) apparently I can cancel them risk free but who knows if that is true I mean this company obviously doesnt have any moral code and will hire a literal liar like Mitch right off the street. So yeah this is a great store with cool stuff too bad I will never shop there again because of this trap that i fell for. Ps I am contacting the manager of the store plus your corporate offices. Im sure someone will fire mitch.
