Loved it!! Need one in Denver, Co., but there is only this one! Uses no preservatives, uses all natural ingredients. Also uses local honey... soooooo good! Got lucky, we stopped by on the first Friday of the month and caught local live music. Plenty of street parking. Cozy couch and bistro tables. Safe for your kids, order them a vanilla steamer. Make this a must-stop if passing through Duluth, MN. Worth the stop!

I live In Watertown,southern Minnesota but I visit north often, this is the where I find myself again and again they have awesome delicious coffee drinks, and homemade baked goods the owners and workers are very kind and always greet you smiling, its busy quite often but patience and coffee is a virtue!!😁 Thank you Amity!!!

Cute little place. The employees weren’t very outgoing but they weren’t rude or anything. Very nice atmosphere, it’ll be even better when indoor seating returns (thanks chairman walz). Can’t at this time find an opportunity for improvement in regards to the coffee I had, it was great. Definitely worth stopping in when in the neighborhood.

My wife and I were in town for a wedding and stopped by for some take out coffees. Both the iced miel and the cold brew were excellent. They were full in flavor and our barista was awesome. Looking forward to coming back nest time were in Duluth.

Loved it the first time, returned and was surprised in a not so good way. Didnt seem to comply with some basic cleanliness rules.. The guy making the coffee kept checking his phone and then also served our coffee without the lids - lids were just tossed on the counter top.. How weird. Maybe its because we didnt tip him the first time, but I kind of didnt know it was the requirement? Sorry, nobody throws the lids on the counter tops in other places, kinda gross really especially during COVID when most places are being extra careful. What a way to ruin a great coffee experience from the day earlier!Thanks for explaining your point of view - makes sense about the art on the coffee.. I just didnt see you wipe down the counter so it sent the wrong message, everyone is more cautious during COVID now. Thanks for offering to make it right. The coffee here is delicious regardless!

Had the breakfast sandwich (which I think could have been a bit more reasonably priced at $5.50 or $6). It was good and made with fresh ingredients.got a cafe miel to drink. Made perfectly. Just the right amount of honey and cinnamon, excellent froth, excellent espresso.Very cozy atmosphere. Will come back here again.

Amity Coffee is one of my favorite local coffee shops within the area. The staff always eager to help and assist you with any question on the menu. Always offering wide array of food selections, Amity has options ranging from bakery items from local bakeries to ice cream from a local creamery. Creating a local feel within the business. Would highly recommend!

Amity coffee is a great place to get good coffee and small local bites. Cool that they have beer. See a lot of local lakeside types and high school kids. Plus hipsters taking a break from Duluth Coffee Companys brackish atmosphere. Nice loud bathroom fan for when you take that first sip and the feeling hits.

I visited here about 30 min to closing and ordered a mocha latte. It was the best latte I have had in almost 15 years. The temperature was perfect, flavor balance between the mocha, espresso, caramel and hazelnut was absolutely perfect. To finish the drink, Christopher added a flawless design in the foam. This drink went from being just something to sip during an afternoon meeting to a world class dessert, in my humble opinion. It was hard to focus on the meeting because I was taken back by how perfect the latte was. I will definitely be coming back to this place.

Super delicious chai tea!

Really wonderful attention to detail, almost curating, the food. Savory Bread Pudding unbelievably tasty. Warm, intimate atmosphere and very friendly folks. Not sure how you can improve on anything.

They use Duluth Coffee Company coffee, which is without question the best roaster in Duluth. They stock amazing Zenith Bread Project croissants and Northern Waters Smoked Fish sandwiches, the best you can get in this city all in one cafe. The owners strive to make Amity Cafe a party of the community and the atmosphere inside feels like it. Its hard to believe they only set up shop a couple years ago. Overall, this is the best cafe in Duluth.

I love the atmosphere. The coffee is great with a wonderful selection of vegan /gluten-sensitive pastries. White chocolate scone was the best Ive ever had, it had a hint of rose in it. Vegan red velvet cupcake was surprisingly great as well.

Amazing coffee and great vibe. Love the art displays and the endless options for coffee and drinks. The only thing close to complain about is that two younger employees always goof off and are a little disruptive, which im not against having a giggle and have a good time at work. what i didnt enjoy was the nice quiet study atmosphere getting interrupted by these girls making fun of the music constantly and screaming the lyrics in a joking way, it made the room feel veryy awkward. but hey maybe it was an off day usually the employees are very respectful.

Amity is easily my favorite coffee shop in duluth. The people are nice and the coffee and food is really good. The atmosphere is very chill and its a great place to study. Its also a great place to go if you just want to chill.

This shop is wonderful! The staff were remarkably friendly, and the decor had a fun and local feel to it. I got an americano and a create your own breakfast bagel; it was all delicious!I will definitely come back!

Tasty crafted coffee drinks. A real sausage, egg, and cheddar bagel. Good beer and wine selection. Service is friendly. We will be back when we come in to town.

Some months ago I visited Amity Coffee as they were doing a star gazing event, I met 5 friends there and we all had drinks and food, it was marvelous. The staff and other patrons were most friendly.

Amity has all of the charms of the local coffee scene that you want. Local artisan paintings on the wall....check. Friendly servers.....check. Regulars reading and discussing current events.....check. If anyone gets a pretentious vibe here like in former posts, those people did nothing to be friendly in the first place. The people here own and operate Amity and have welcomed every single patron as neighbors and friends. In my short time living in Duluth, this is one of the places that makes me feel “home” already. I will continue to support this gem in Lakeside.

This coffee shop certainly has that hole-in-the-wall look to it, but the coffee is good enough to make it the most popular coffee shop in town! It holds a quiet and cozy atmosphere good for studying and chatting with a few friends.

I love this place. Such a cozy atmosphere and they make amazing coffees.

Took 12+ mins to make a bagel with cream cheese. When they finally remembered my order, they apologized. I appreciated that, but then I discovered that my bagel had a brown hair stuck in the cream cheese. Not the best experience.

My caramel mocha was good, but the dirty chai was amazing. Hope to make it in for the live music soon.

Coffee was burnt. I Ordered a latte. The whole time I was there, and I was there whole, the 2 teenage girls at the counter were busy chatting with a friend whod stopped in. Atmosphere was lacking.

Its a really great place if you want subpar watered down cold press coffee serve with a side of attitude by a underpaid millennial screaming for $15 an hour. Most of the staff I have encountered have been snotty, dont say hello or even a thank you which seems to be a common thing with the younger generation now days. I will not be spending my hard earned money at this location again. There are plenty of other shops in town with better coffee and service.
