The owner Eric was kind enough to welcome our St. Scholastica Business Club tonight and give us a tour of Duluth Coffee Company. We were able to sample some coffee from Costa Rica that smelt and tasted amazing. It had a nice nutty caramel smell that was quite smooth to the taste. Aside from the coffee, we were able to learn alot about how the company started and where it is now. I am amazed at what he has accomplished and love everything that he is doing.Eric is a great representation of what every business owner should be. He knows his product, he is an open book filled with advice and extensive knowledge about business, and he is an easygoing and friendly individual. I enjoyed listening to him and the things he shared with us about the company. I will definitely start making regular trips here more often as I had such a great first experience.

Tried a cafe latte today with hemp milk and maple and it was absolutely delicious! Just what I needed coming off of a 100+ hour work week and 4 hours of sleep last night. Quick meditation sesh by the lake then back to the grind!

Amazing quality coffee at a decent price. Fun location. A bit confused by the process itself. It seemed to move unnecessarily slow.

Stumbled upon this place while visiting Duluth. Good strong coffee. After trying it I bought a bag of beans to take back home to Minneapolis. The location had nice hipster decor, and the workers were really down to earth and pleasant. I would definitely come here again the next time I visit Duluth. I would tell my friends to go check it out, too.

Yummmmmmmm...some incredible espressoing going on here! Service was fast and friendly, and the baristas obviously know whats up when it comes to coffee prep. I ordered the espresso and low key, it might be the best ever. It didnt need any cream at all, and it was super hot, not at all burnt or acidy, and get this: the perfect amount of CREAMA on top! I couldnt believe it! Nearly wept tears of joy!So go get some coffee there. I promise, youll love it.

Bittersweet experience...as for coffee it was pretty good. I got the maple latte. It was good. Ive had better but it was good. Kids ordered chai and loved it! My sister got the dirty chai (espresso + chai) and it was delicious! My husband go the miel and it was just ok...if you really like honey and subtle flavors you would probably like that. Shortly after we ordered it got really busy and one of our chais was forgotten so we had to go back up and get that requested to be made. There were a lot of huffy customers after us. I felt bad for the staff.

Good coffee, quietly tucked into the bustling city. Kind staff and nice selection :) Not a ton of room to set up and work but, they are dog friendly, and no one rushes you.

GREAT coffee; they have such flavorful espresso. Its a really neat place, but not very big. They do not have any food, so keep that in mind if youre looking for breakfast and coffee! But definitely do go for the coffee.

Meh. Not cozy. Uncomfortable furniture, unless you sit in one of the 2 comfy chairs. The place just does not have a good vibe. Too many black painted, hard services. Not a fan of needing to get a bathroom key for a ladies room that has 3 stalls. Why not leave it open? Cappuccino was okay.

Costarían Porover as expected, great. Double expresso good, just Tony taste a bit week, but that’s fine.The big “but” was that the coffee mug in Which I received the Poot over, was dirty and the lady did nothing!It was “dirty” of coffee, it just looked like it was not well washed I guess no big deal, but if the coffee shop is offering the “high end coffee experience”, these details should never be overlooked.

Duluth Coffee Company is a comparatively new addition to the Duluth area (8 years old), but since its been open, it has created a lasting impact. Offering coffee to local restaurants, breweries, and grocery stores, theyre definitely off to an excellent start and have continued momentum. The main location on Superior Street is a chic, clean, and tidy place, offering gourmet coffee beans and drinks. Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful staff top off the experience. This is the only place I buy coffee beans from.

Always the first place to visit when coming to Duluth and the last before we go. It’s a bonus when they’re roasting beans when you come in- such a great smell. All their drinks are perfect, all being made with really good milk. Their cold brew hits the spot all year round, even when it’s -10 degrees outside.

Duluth Coffee Company does it right. The coffee that they have is incredible and they know what they are talking about when it comes to coffee.They gave me a great deal on my 2nd coffee during one visit, as I didnt quite have enough cash to cover it, they said they would take care of the difference.Great atmosphere, and great employees.Thanks Duluth Coffee Company!!!

Whenever I go on a long trip, its paramount to make sure you are getting good coffee. Thats why whenever I stop through Duluth, I make a point of going to Duluth Coffee Company! The coffee is great, and the service is too. My girlfriend ordered a small vanilla latte with a single shot of espresso, and she said its been her favorite yet. I got an americano, and I can say that its definitely up there on the list too!

A variety of people recommended this place to me. They said it was the BEST place for coffee in the twin ports... they were right. This place is good. I had a pour over of a special selected bean from Costa Rica. Phenomenal. I was even offered a tour of their roasting facilities next door (unfortunately my personal schedule didnt allow me to partake). Either way, excellent coffee, excellent atmosphere. 5 stars all the way

Open super early Sunday morning. Ethically sourced coffee from small farmers means there’s always something interesting in addition to Standard espresso drinks. Service was enthusiastic and friendly.

Pretty good drip coffee, though the line was long and the barista didnt explain just how long it would take to brew my coffee. The answer? Maybe 20+ minutes. Coffee beans are insanely expensive, up to forty-something dollars. Be really careful when buying. Make sure you love the stuff and look out for that price tag.

An amazing upscale coffee shop in downtown Duluth. Its gotta a hippee vibe and I love it. But, most importantly, the coffee is amazing. I have tried some Lattes and they have never disappointed.

I have to say that for a diamond in the rough Rust Belt town like Duluth this coffee company is pretty good. Sure the owner and his immediate management team have their heads in a foamy beer cloud all the time but they are trendy so all is forgiven. Leander and Madeline are incredible baristas who made my experience in Canal Park an unexpected delight.

The coffee here is one of a kind. The aroma when you walk in from the roaster is so lovely. The staff is also very kind and helpful. The live music is really fun to attend too.

I wanted to visit a good coffee place while in Duluth for a few places and this place was recommended by a friend. I was not at all disappointed with the recommendation. The place was very mellow and low key. My wife and I ordered a couple drinks, which were priced very well, and enjoyed them while sitting in the coffee shop. I have to say that they made the best Breve that I have tried to date. Very good place to go if you want an amazing pick me up.

Best spot in town to grab a coffee! Fun and welcoming environment with a highly qualified staff of baristas. These are all great attributes in making the store a place you want to be. I had a Carmel Latte and it was absolutely delicious!

This small coffee house is run by a Group of Young People and they sure know their stuff about aromatic coffee roasts and blends. As you enter this sanctuary from the street the velvety aromatic aroma wafts around your nostrils. A wonderful Little place.

A go to spot for a pick-me-up at any point in the day. The DCC staff is friendly and so informed about the coffees they roast and sell to you. The mission of this company only makes me want to support them more, as they strive to make quality coffee accessible while informing consumers to change the global market in favor of everyone, from start to finish. It doesnt hurt that the cafe is beautiful, too, often sporting delicious pastries from another area business.

Love this place! I hate to leave a 5 star review because I enjoy it when it’s slow and quiet, but to be truthful, you are missing out if you have never been here or drank their coffee ☕️.Thank you Duluth Coffee Company for the wonderful experience every time!

The best mocha ever i had!!!

Duluth Coffee Company has the best coffee. Their menu is neatly displayed over the counter, explaining prices and drinks. They also have a little sign for each of their roasts, explaining the backstory behind it and where it originates from. Local art is displayed on the walls and as well as community events. There are outlets at various locations around the venue to allow for professionals and students alike to come and work on their projects.

We visited around mid morning and were served quickly and politely. The coffee was good, but not mind blowing. We had their coffee prepared at another shop a town over and it was fantastic, so it may have been an off day. We would give them another chance, but might choose the other place if possible.

Amazing fresh-roasted coffee. The pour-over is worth every cent. Interesting vibe -- the avant-garde artwork seemed like it was trying to hard, but thats Duluth for you these days.

This place has the best coffee Ive ever had. And Ive been around the world, and coffee is my favorite thing to drink. After I tried one pot with these beans, I had to get a cup from the source. And let me tell you, it has an inexplicable taste of perfectness. It wasnt bitter or dull. It was amazing. I ordered plain black coffee, and it was so satisfying. They have a pricey menu, but they make up for it in ambiance (some huge machine stores in house?). If youve become a plain coffee drinker, this is the place for you. Unfortunately, the place is always filled with hipsters and people with wooden computers who hate talking.

This was a great find in Duluth! We had the best pour over coffee that weve ever had here. The cappuccino was great as well. Only complaint is they couldve had a better selection of pastries or food.

Ive been to a lot of coffee shops. Some of the best espressos I have had have been in NW Oregon. Duluth Coffee ranks as one of the best I have had. Fantastic job guys! Keep up the consistency and fantastic drinks. Every time we visit Duluth we make multiple trips to DCC, probably consuming way more caffeine than we should, just for the rich taste of their Lattes!

Great coffee! Cheaper then some other coffees around Duluth and much better quality. If you are looking for a chill vibe I recommend buying a coffee and sitting inside and just enjoy the smell of fresh coffee beans being processed right next to you. If you want to be outside, hang around in their outside bench and table pod. The major reason they do not get 5 stars would be that the staff are not very conversational and not exactly the type of person I would want as my barista. Over all I recommend this place to people who like great coffee for a good price.

Delicious Miel....they even drew a heart in the foam on top....really sweet! They also had homemade wooden box guitars on display and some vintage pots and grinders. If you walk across the street you can get on the lake walk, walk along the beach, and look for agates.

I visited this business for the first time last week and what a create set up. I enjoyed watching the beans being roasted as we waited for our coffee pick up. The staff was very friendly and had great smiles.

Great cold press. Mocha was a little watery as though there wasnt enough grounds for the espresso shots--might have just been an off pull. Staff was friendly. Earrings made of recycled metals are available to purchase. Not a lot of seating but definitely worth a stop.

One of my favorite Lattes anywhere. They do a great job on the roasting, and they make good coffee with it. The shop is bare bones (fine w/me) and parking is a pain.

Exceptional quality and great value when compared to the $15-20 for a 10-12oz bag obeans charged by the leading roasters in the Twin Cities. I order online and, even with shipping, is a much better value and GREAT coffee.

I was introduced to your coffee when I recently visited Duluth. It was served at Hostel du Nord. I was stressed from the 7 hour drive, most of it in a downpour of rain.There’s nothing like a great, fresh ground cup of coffee! Fabuloso!!!

They are very committed to there community. They donated 300 peoples worth of coffee to a local fundraiser that supports veterans dealing with combat stress. Good people and good coffee.

Really nice, laid back spot to grab a great cup of coffee and just sit for awhile. Seating is somewhat limited, but the outdoor street seating in warm weather certainly helps with that.
