I really enjoy working for Savers Duluth. Great employees who are always friendly and willing to help customers. Great people to work with and friendly atmosphere. Alot of great items with a lot of variety I must add.

This store is rather expensive for a second hand store. They had some good items but I could buy some things cheaper brand new. They should have someone doing price comparison in other stores. The cashier was friendly and helpful.

You can get some sweet deals there I was able to get a cotton candy maker for 10 dollars just becaus its used you can also find rare stuff there that are sold for cheap because they didnt know better

I dont know whats wrong with thrift stores anymore. But it seems like Savers and all the rest of them have gotten greedy. Way overpriced for merchandise that was donated to them. I know they have overhead and they need to pay employees but its ridiculous for what they are charging for what they have.

We like saving as much as🖼 we are able to . . . I always find something. . .todays trip was pretty fun picked up a🛍👕 few things better left to the imagination🕶 and kinda a gift for a few friends to send out 👒

They price their donated inventory similar to Targets prices across the street.. yet they still cannot afford to bag our items we purchase, unless we purchase the paper/ plastic bags too.

I recently visited Savers in Duluth after not shopping there since I had moved away. The pricing was higher than any thrift store I have ever been in including Goodwills. I am surprised they stay in business when childrens clothing is cheaper new at TJMaxx across the road. I did get a few things telling myself at least it goes toward Veterans. Later I started researching the percentage that actually goes to charities. It is surprising how little goes for the Vets and also how little they pay their employees. Savers should change their name or stop soaking people for used items.

I LOVE SAVERS!!! It is awesome. U never know what u r going to find. The inventory is constantly rotating. The staff is very helpful and friendly. For a second hand store, that is always busy, it stays pretty organized. Sometimes the prices may be a bit higher than Id like, but if u donate prior to shopping u can receive an additional discount.

Savers is great! We love shopping here when we come to Duluth and they always have a ton of new stuff. It does seem kinda pricey for a thrift store at times, and their Halloween stuff really crowds the store.Great place to go if youre looking for clothes, especially. Ive found some neat furniture before and lots of dishes. Their shoe selection is great!

I have discovered several great finds over the years.

Lots of variety. Items run a little higher in cost and quality than goodwill or salvation army, but lower than target or walmart. Gets a little crowded during busier hours.

My husband called in advance to let them know what we were looking to donate and condition. We had a couch and matching chair since we had to downsize our home. They said they would take it. We also had an arcade style basketball game. My husband said we would just give it away if savers wouldn’t take it. They rejected the Ashley brand furniture that was three years old and scotch guarded. Took the basketball arcade set and threw it out!!! It worked perfectly fine and was only a couple years old!!!! My kids saw them do it and were angry. What a waste. They lie and they waste perfectly good products. Never trust them. Ever.

Rude floor associate stood around the whole time my family was there but when there were 4 different people in a small area 3 with carts. She felt then need to say excuse me very rudely and made everyone move so she could go through. So much for customers being priority...

Sometimes the shelves an clothes are messy looking, It smells in there, it can be plump full with everything, an you find np5hing, not worth the trip. But 2 weeks ago, bought a glass vase filled to the rim with jewelry, poured it out. 6 watches, 3 of which are valued 200 -300 a piece, all earrings had a match along with 30 braclets that was the find of the month

I love Savers. They keep their sanitized carts separate from the non sanitized carts and ALWAYS have at least 2 employees right inside the front door making sure that it stays that way.Currently their fitting rooms are closed (12/28) but they have altered their return policy so you have more time to bring things back if they dont work for you.Prices are usually pretty decent. I have found quite a few treasures here.

Awful customer service, I found a pair of leggings I wanted priced under 5, and this lady said these are not priced right and would not sell them to me. I worked retail if the price was marked I would sell it to you. YOU GET STUFF DONATED TO YOU to be that greedy is outrageous.

Savers is what it is....some days, one can find great deals other days, not so much. What else can one say?

Their tags should say the length or whether or not the item is a tall item. Because I am a tall person it sucks to have to look through every single clothing item that Im looking for hoping to find a tall item on the actual garments tag not the one they put on there. But their prices are outstanding and their selection is very clean and usually free from damage.HOWEVER... THEY ARE TRYING TO SELL AN INSTAPOT COOKER FOR MORE THAN ITS WORTH LOL

They completely removed the changing rooms. I love Savers, but cant shop there until I can try things on.

Lots of stuff here! Housewares, clothing, some furniture, electronics etc. Halloween is coming and they have TONS of costumes and decorations.

Used to love going here until a recent visit when a Karen followed me around the store, bugging me about wearing a mask. Oh and the Karen worked there. Wont go back. Sheep.

Why is it that all of the thrift stores are charging vintage or antique amounts? These items are donated. I just feel that if the prices were more reasonable they would have a greater turnover....

I have a LEGAL, MEDICAL EXEMPTION for not wearing a face mask. I explained this to the two people at the door, and they still would not let me shop here.If you care about our freedom to breathe when medically necessary, dont bother shopping at this ridiculous place.Savers in St Cloud let me in their store, but the Duluth Savers is absolutely controlled by the same system that seeks to take away all of your freedoms.

Love saves because Im a disabled veteran and get get discounts on everything. My only complaint is the way clothes are organized. For exempt, kids sizes 6-8 are all mixed together so rather than looking through just size 7 I had to look through everything. Then while shopping for my 6 month old who wears 3 month stuff, everything was so high(literally on the top rack) I needed a step stool to reach and they were very unorganized. The employees are mostly friendly and helpful besides when they decide to come stock and put away clothes right next to you but they are constantly putting out new items, which is a good thing.

Ive shopped at and donated to Sacers for years amd I love it. However, in recent months the prices seem to have skyrocketed. Today they had a wooden trunk with the leg falling off listed for $30 amd a fish net for $10 which I thought was pretty outrageous.

The idea behind savers is great its just too bad most of the clothes are marked down only about 25-35 percent from actual retail prices brand new... once in awhile you can find a deal though

I just moved here from California and love going thrifting. This place has many great options but is way too over priced. A small salt lamp was 17$ Used and out of box. I can go get the same salt lamp at target for 16$ Brand new. I went to the shoe area and they wanted 30$ for knee high boots without a name brand. Good will only charges 7$ for shoes like that. Super fun store to look at but they are an overpriced thrift store. Much more expensive then the California savers for sure

Oh Savers, I have such a fond spot in my heart for you. Excellent selection of clothes, you can always find what youre looking for! A bit of vintage mixed in with newer stuff and a ton of coats, jackets, and seasonal gear. Patience will bring you many treasures. Clothes are mostly priced fair, although the prices here are higher than Goodwill and some other thrift stores. Of course, still MUCH better than buying new. If you can, stop by on the 50% off clothing days and go wild. Havent had much luck with housewares or furniture but occasionally you can find something worth getting excited about.

They discriminate against those who cant wear a mask. They are not following the mandate exemption rules. Jerks.

Masks are told to be worn but many peoole still have them below their nose, and no one says anything. Peoplwbare also taking them off after they enter the store. People also arent following the rules with the floor signs on which direction to go. So peoplebare way to close to each other.

I Absolutely Love this store. I have bought name brand clothing for 1/3 & even lower of the price youd pay in a store. I go 3-4 times per week & each time I find so many new items. The Staff always greets me with a warm hello & I get the biggest hug from Stephanie every time I See her. She is such a sweetheart.Bethany has always taken the time to answer any question I have. She is a excellent manager & very warm & welcoming.. & Nina is the one that does announcements over the intercom, She has the sweetest voice as well as personality. I dont think Ive ever seen her not smiling.The store is always so clean & each time I go late in the day, Dan, in maintenance, will always stop & talk to me.. Every employee is so friendly that I consider them all to be my 2nd family.

An easy place to shop around for good prices on all kinds of things. Their stores are kept clean and well lit. They are as safe as any other large store. Their footprint is where abundant free parking is available. They are easy to find on main highways in urban areas. However, they are selling more of their own product brand each year at a fixed price that is seldom discounted. But that is OK also. Raymond

This place is a Halloween store and thrift shop in one! My son got a toy there that used is worth $150 cheapest and he got it for $3. Ive seen wedding dresses, baby clothes, and pretty much anything youd want. I love this place!

This place is always extremely clean, and pretty well organized unlike others Ive been to. I shop there frequently and am usually able to find just what I like! Halloween is there best time of year, its completely transformed in there so if you need something spooky make this place the first on your list!

I love shopping here! Its a scavenger hunt and a fun place to poke around and come up with a treasure! Great for clothing. Im able to find good quality, name brands for very reasonable prices. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff make it a pleasant shopping experience. They also have a fabulous selection of good quality Halloween costumes and accessories in the late summer and throughout fall.

The experience at savers was not only rushed but seemed like I was being intrusive in the store because of the multiple amounts of floor lockers that you guys had not to mention the stern and in on friendly looks that I received from these people like I was taking something from the store or stealing from them personally Im truly offended by this and I will no longer until I am either giving Im truly upset and offended by these people Im a black man and for them to treat me the way that they did in the Duluth Minnesota store the lucky I didnt call the NAACP.

Some very good deals if you know how to recognize them. Today I bought an almost-new pair of $120 Bogs garden/rain boots for $5.99. A lot of the items are pretty rough and some of the staff are challenged, but there are some gems here.

Lots and lots of clothes that range from well-worn to nearly new. There are more womens clothes and shoes than mens but plenty of mens pants and shirts to look through. There are several dressing rooms which is convenient since the store is usually quite busy. There are a lot of dishes, pots and pans, and small kitchen appliances as well. As halloween approaches they bring in a huge variety of costumes.

Its a great place to look for bargains. You never know what you will find its also a good place to donate things you no longer need.

Be sure to watch your prices, tho some are good deals others arent. Example dollar store soap marked at 1.99. Senior discounts in duluth are 30% on Tues 40% in the twin cities. Vets get 50% with proper ID.

I love this store but i just wanted to say that ive seen a lot of items that have been damaged by how they are tagged. i just bought a wallet that had a tag through the entire wallet now there are pretty big holes in both sides. but other than that i love going there!!!

Prices are usually a bit high for used stuff, but sometimes you can get lucky with a real good deal. I recommend going on Tuesday for Seniors because they get 30% and Thursday for Students because they get 20%. And also random 50% days they sometimes have.
