We came into Jared from a bad experience at Shane Co. The staff were so welcoming and personable. We even saw another couple that was at Shane Co. at Jared that had the same negative experience. The staff did not rush us and let us browse at our own pace. We found a beautiful wedding ring at a better price, and had a great experience with knowledgeable and down to earth people. Jared you have our business from now on!

Run from this store if you don’t want to regret your single most important investment in your life. Brandon, Queenesa and the supervisors are all in on their nefarious activities at this Jared store location on Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth. They try to force a sale of a Rolex wrist watch on me and refused to exchange it for the one I really liked and wanted by enforcing all kinds of tricks in the books to run down the clock on 30-days return policy.

TIKA WAS GREAT. She was patient, kind, and very knowledgeable about diamonds and jewelery. She will make you feel as though youve known her for years and that is a gift that can not be taught. She had an answer for every question and didnt mind being patient as I made my decision. She was even willing to go above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and I left with alot more than a ring. GIVE THAT LADY A PROMOTION. The entire staff was great as well. Do not take your jewelry to Jareds for any reason. I did not purchase my ring from Jareds, but I took it there in April 2018 for an appraisal. Upon leaving the store and returning home I immediately noticed that one of my stones was missing. The ring was perfectly in tact during the inspection process. I returned to the store within the hour to voice my complaint. The appraiser agreed that the ring was not missing any stones and each stone was tight during the appraisal process. Jareds agreed to make the repair at no charge (afterall it was their fault) stating that the cleaning machine most likely shook the stone loose. I left the store that day with a repaired ring.Skip ahead to yesterday August 23, 2021. I dropped my ring on the floor and when I picked it up I noticed the exact stone that was replaced by Jareds in 2018 had come out AGAIN. I know this because I took photos in April 2018 and yesterday. No other stones came out which means that the replacement stone which was DUE TO THEIR ERROR was not set properly. I reached out to Jareds and was informed that I would be charged to replace my stone because there is a 6 month warranty on repairs and I had not purchased my ring from them. My question was why should I be held accountable for something that was caused by Jareds initially. If other stones had fallen out of my ring as well I would say that I should pay for the repairs, but, the only stone that came out for a 2nd time is the one that they repaired due to their error. But, this is their fault.Prior to today and despite the fact that they created the original issue I have only had good things to say about the store, the employees and their customer service. After today, I highly recommend that no one does business with them when it comes to diamonds.My items are insured, but to save myself the grief I will pay for it out of pocket to be repaired.....anywhere except Jareds Duluth!Update:Jared’s responded via email (see photo below) and I responded Hello,I appreciate your response however, the point is that the ONLY stone that had ever been displaced is the one that Jared’s replaced due to YOUR equipment. IF my my ring had been dropped the extent of damage to the stones multiple stones would have been displaced, therefore it is a direct result of your work. Very delayed post- StoreManager, Nikki, is extremely unprofessional. One piece of my ten items was apparently entered in to Jared’s system wrong, by a Jared employee. We purchased all of our items when they still did yellow receipts and tracked inspections on paper. It’s a hard pill to swallow when a piece of jewelry has been recorded wrong for 14 years. You obviously become upset to learn this at such a late date, but then to be disrespected and talked to in an inappropriate manner by the store manager? That’s unacceptable. Again, it was the stores responsibility to input the information. I didn’t spend a lot of money to be spoken to for the stores error or to be questioned about my receipts which thankfully I kept

I visited this Jared to get my rings inspected since they were not conducting inspections in 2020 due to COVID. I was informed that they did not do inspections on Sundays and I would need an appointment. I did not have an issue with receiving this information, but it was how it was given. The staff was very disengaged and unfriendly. In the words of the late great Maya Angelou, “people will forget what you said and people will forget what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel.” This quote sums up my experience at this location. I drove to another Jared on the same day I visited this location and they cheerfully greeted me and conducted my inspection on a Sunday. Needless to say, I will not return to the Pleasant Hill location.

We didnt buy anything there. I brought my wife there on Valentines day so she could pick her own gift. We were greeted at the door and informed we must wear a mask. We turned around and left. I wont patronize stores that buy into the Covid fear and hype that allows tyranny to flourish.I am a trained bio- warfare specialist. Masks are ineffective against a virus, at least the kind that is so popular these days.We went to a different jeweler that greated us with a smile and sold us a nice gold necklace.

Went in for jewelry inspection and cleaning, as I have done for the past 9 years every 6 months. Employees were beyond Rude upon greeting and after waiting 20 minutes to be addressed with a “Hello, we’ll be with you shortly,” I was informed they couldn’t help me since I didn’t have an appointment. There was no one waiting after me. Just no. One of the employees then pulled out a clipboard and said they couldn’t schedule me in for another week. Again, there was no one waiting behind me and they would not help me. I’d drive to another Jared before I ever step in here again.

This Jared is the best of the best. All of the people who work there are absolutely amazing. Especially the store manager! She sets the example and the rest of the staff follows. Niki the store manager uses her unique managerial skills to accommodate the shoppers and to exceed their expectations by helping them with their jewelry request and needs. Due to COVID there has been many items I purchased online and needed either a different size or item and Niki and the rest of the staff were very helpful. Keep doing great work you all and thank you for all your help.

Originally I called the Mall of Georgia Jared to schedule an appointment for jewelry cleaning. But I was advised it’s best to come in February 2021. I called Gwinnett Place and they were beyond nice - asking if I wanted to come in the same day. Purvi shined my bracelets up like new. I bought a Michele watch from Michele website, which is not available at this authorized dealer. After i received the watch for my wife her watch bracelet needed to be adjusted to her wrist and we called Michele customer service and they mentioned we can take them to any authorized Michele dealer and they will do it for no charge. We took the watch at this location and they want to charge 35/ dollars to fix the bracelet. As an authorized dealer they are not suppose to charge. They mentioned they will do at no charge only if we buy the watch from them. Customer service is slow.

The guys at Jared are AMAZING! And I dont use that word lightly. I had worked out with my engagement ring on and knocked the diamond loose. I was on my way to an event and didnt want to go ring-less, so the people at Jared expedited my repair and had my ring fixed and polished right before my eyes. They were so helpful and understanding. We went in looking for wedding bands on 3/28. An older man greeted us. I told him our price range and I also said how I found some sale prices on the website. He said they absolutely had no sales because they had low prices already. He argued with me about it. He wouldnt show me rings in our price range. He didnt even pull out any ring. Its not like we had a cheap price range either. He immediately told us to get a credit card. Then he asked when our wedding was and said if we didnt get a ring now the gold prices would go up. Still not showing us any rings. He wanted us to pick something at a higher price. Meanwhile, I look over and a woman working there was full out dancing in the middle of the aisle. Doing the running man and everything with arms up in the air. I have no clue what was going on there. After trying to get the salesman to stop hassling us and to show me some rings and he just wouldnt ...we said were leaving and he yelled at us while we were walking out of the door. He seemed like a car salesman and was nothing that I want to experience again. I really wanted to look at the selection and it would have been some easy sales because we wanted to get wedding bands, but his nasty attitude lost that for us and we gave our business to someone that actually gave us great customer service and showed us rings! Imagine that! A jeweler that showed us jewelry. Lol between the dancing lady and him you might want to go somewhere else... just my opinion.

We bought my engagement ring at this location and intially had a good experience. We got a 2 toned white and rose gold ring. I took my ring in to be rhodium plated because my white gold was fading. They rhodium plated over my rose gold and when I told them did not seem to really care and scratched it off. Since then my rose gold has not looked the same at all. They also did not mention their engraving machine was not working until after I pointed out my engraving was gone. I will not be returning to this location needless to say.

Visited this Store and 2 others while shopping for my Cupcakes ring. I had no idea what to expect or what to do. I met Chris Hartley and Anthony Brown while I was looking. They were way more personable than the other places I went. They educated me about the process and helped me get all my questions answered. I picked a ring but was nervous about making a mistake. Product: Jared definitely gives you the best quality for your money. My engagement ring is gorgeous and people literally breathe in when they see it! Service: at this location it is so-so. Sometimes amazing sometimes not - depending on who helps us. At the location by I-85, which we have only gone to once, the service was horrible. We asked the lady that helped us to clean and check our rings because we purchased their warranty plan and instead of looking to see what our warranty says she just said... no pretty much. We had to keep asking to get her to look and then she did as we requested. She more or less seemed annoyed that we were not buying anything.

Excellent Customer Service and Sales Associates! I had the pleasure of being assisted by Tiki! She was very welcoming, and extremely helpful from start to finish! I came in looking for a Pandora charm and once I expressed to Tiki what I was looking for, I ended up leaving with FIVE and a much needed cleaning kit. She cleaned my bracelet and placed all of my charms in the perfect order which made my Pandora bracelet tell my story. I will definitely be back and asking for her! Went into the store with my fiancé in search of a wedding band. Because my fiancé and I decided to get married without too much time for planning, I wished to skip on the engagement ring (I also personally have issues with paying for a diamond ring that’s sole purpose is for a proposal and cannot be worn daily, ridiculously expensive, and advertised as ‘it will be a once in a lifetime experience). We went in the store and were looking at wedding bands, and the sales rep continued to ask why I wasn’t looking at an engagement ring. I explained to her my reasons and simply wished to look for a wedding band that I could cherish for a lifetime. She brought over another sales woman who asked why I wouldn’t want an engagement ring when my fiancé is willing to pay. She also made me feel like opting out of an engagement ring somehow devalued my character and marriage. I left the store upset and went to Shane Co, where I was treated with respect and grace. When mentioning I didn’t wish for an engagement ring, the sales rep made me feel comfortable with my decision and insisted that engagement rings are necessary only for proposals and if I didn’t see myself wearing it often, it will be best to opt out. She helped me choose a beautiful vintage ring that I could see myself appreciate for long time to come.All in all, I was disappointed with the way sales rep in Jared for the way they only desired to make a sale rather than respecting their customer’s opinion and desires.

Bought my wife’s ring at a different store and also bought a “protection plan” with it. Every time I come to have my ring inspected (which is required to satisfy the warranty) they can never find my currect records and always make me go through hell to verify the inspection.In contrast I bought the wedding bands in a different store (not jared ) and every time I go to service them there it’s like a breeze.

Beyond rude....asked me if I was looking for something and I told her...she pointed at the display, she was with a customer, said they didnt have what I was looking for and then reminded me that they were closing early! Bad move....we have spent thousands of dollars with your company over the years. We will NOT return to your store and will continue to go to the one in Buford. BTW....you work in retail so dont get pissy if some walks in 5 minutes before you close....you cant have a sour attitude or you will continue to loose customers. I am so disappointed with my experience at this store. I took my engagement ring here to have it re sized. The ring was purchased at a different retailer but they said they could re size it with no problem. The sales lady (Ana) spent several mins trying to make additional sales and asking me if I wanted to apply for a Jared credit card. I was only there to resize my ring. The ring that I brought in was a size 7 and I used the ring sizers in their store to measure my finger and the size 9 fit perfectly. So I asked them to re size my ring to a size 9. The entire process took about 2-3 hours which was great but when I came to pick up my ring, I could barely get the ring on my finger. I asked the rep was it a size 9 because it doesnt fit like the ring sizer fit me when measuring my finger. The sales lady (Ana) and the repair guy insisted that my ring is now a size 9, which it isnt. So now I am going to have to go elsewhere to have my ring correctly sized after paying over 140 dollars to Jared. If you are having your ring resized here I suggest you go up a size so that you dont have this issue.

This rant will be a never ending story for this location. Yes, they have beautiful jewelries along with the top line watches but that will not excuse the sales representatives we had. No names will be thrown out because I have both of their names on the card and I choose to tell the truth unlike them. First and for most, they absolutely tricked and lied to me and my boyfriend. We just went to casually look around for rings. I wasn’t in love with that ring but they insisted on my bf buying it while we were there. Honestly, I, the girlfriend, cannot be there while he buys it!! It’s a surprise, that special moment, of my boyfriend picking what we both like for him to propose. They kept repeating, “I’ll take her for some coffee while you buy it.” Just absurd. I was already annoyed right then and there. Second, the lady stated, “would you like to see if you can be pre approved?” We said no, we don’t want anything on our credit or to have a credit check, or anything of a credit card because we are not sure if Jared is the place for us. She said again, “oh, it won’t go your credit, we won’t send you a credit card. Don’t worry, we’re just going to look.” When she saw whatever his score was, both of the sales reps went to the back to get coffee and water and pulled me away from my boyfriend for me to get my attention off of what the lady and my man were doing. Steering me here and there to MAKE THAT SALE. They were so persistent on a ring I said I was not too sure of. About a week or 2, we had a mail and guess where it was from?! Jared had sent a credit card and had placed a enquiry on my bf’s credit. Called the manager and complained and I’m just baffled by his statement. “You can still use it if you want.” He was still trying to tell us to use it. If within the next 20 days, if it’s not removed off my bf’s credit, I guess we’ll have to take it to a serious matter. Overall, the Duluth location are honestly money hungry. Trying to get their commission and lie to their future costumers. We tried the one in Buford and had a totally different atmosphere. Nice representatives, no pushovers, listened well, and most definitely didn’t trick us into anything we didn’t want.

I just left the store and I must say this... I WONT BE COMING BACK or referring anyone to this location EVER AGAIN. The manager at this location not only is very RUDE but she clearly was treating me like a child. My husband purchased me a beautiful necklace for Christmas and unfortunately I have the same one, I been out of the country dealing with a family funeral and asked to please return it . It’s brand new in the box. She didn’t want to help me at all and it clearly shows. I have came to this location to exchange, purchase and return stuff for the past four years and have never had any issues what so ever until now . It’s very disappointing that because she’s a manager she thinks she can disrespect customers who’s been here for years. Never did I think I would run into a situation like this with a rude person. If you guys are looking for jewelry and help with professional customer service please go to another Jared location .

This place has the worst service! I have ever had! Rude and arrogant people working there talking to customers as if they are worthless. For the price of there jewelry. They should be treating there customers like royalty!!!! I will be calling corporate office to make sure this doesnt happen to someone else!
