Stopped in to Build a Bear last night with my 4 year old grand daughter. When I walked in there was a line of 4 people at the check out and only one employee helping them. We walked around & found a bunny. In the almost 20 min wait for the employee to get freed up to help us, the place filled up. When Taylor was free she explained she was the only person working.. Taylor handled the pressure of a full store SO well. She was calm, considerate, talked to EVERY customer and explained when she would be able to help them. Absolutely one of the BEST experiences with an employee. She deserves positive recognition for sure. As a Retail manager I want to say how lucky you are to have such an exceptional employee. Thank you Taylor!

Great experience for the kids on their birthday. But beware if you buy another its gonna cost you. The accessories are great and some are a good deal while others are not. The staff are totally special and really make it a special time for the kids.

Extremely expensive, the employees really should ask parents if they are wanting to pay for up-charges ... Not the children.

Very sweet customer service, gone there many times and the prices include buy one full price get a second one for $5.00.

Date of Visit: 10/29/2020 - The ladies working here were very nice and COVID-conscious. We appreciated how friendly they were. Build-A-Bear, as a general rule, is a little bit expensive as you buy the stuffed animal and you have to buy each article of clothing, but it is a very fun place to visit once in a while.

Delightful experience at Build-a-Bear in Duluth at the the Miller Hill Mall. The staff always makes the experience extra special.

Bought two stuffed animals instead of only one as planned because of a posted sale. Store was bright, well stocked, yet not cluttered or a sensory overload. Interacted with several employees, who were friendly and immediately helpful and attentive with every step. Molly followed through at the register when I inquired about a Military discount (which they do have). I really appreciated that, as we are more likely to recommend and patronize an establishment that does offer a Military discount. This was my daughters first experience at a Build A Bear and she was so very happy! I only wish there was a store closer to our home. The in store experience is definitely more meaningful for the child than an online purchase.

Fun experience with my 3yo, great selection of stuffies, clothes, and accessories. The options of added scents, a vibrating heat beat push button, and a push-to-talk speaker. The staff were super nice and great with kids, and the building ceremony is sweet, but the prices are a bit high. All-in-all, its a memorable experience, and were quite satisfied with our Frozen 2 Elsa dressed blue bunny and pink sparkled sloth with Velcro hands and feet.The speaker came with pre-recorded options or a microphone to record a custom message. The speaker is right next to the stuffing station, and though it says not to worry about background noise, it picks up that and the other customers. The software is a bit clunky, not letting you stop the recording early. Still, my daughter telling her mother that she loved her is priceless.Theres also party packages that look interesting.

Ive been here several times and have had extremely pleasant experiences without fail. The staff have been friendly and fun, the products are nice, and the experience pleasant all around.Note: While bears and furry friends are not particularly expensive on their own, the accessories can add up quickly. Check prices on the Build-A-Bear site before going in to get an idea.Fortunately, you can always get a bear and go back later for accessories.

I collect Build a Bears so its nice to have a workshop near by so I can actually make the bear and have more control on how it feels. The people who work there are very nice and helpful.

My son loves this place everytime we visit the mall we have to stop at the bear house. The staff are all super great and amazing with kids and very good at the up sell :) I now have way too many over priced stuffed animals that smell like some kind of food! But it really does make my son happy and he sleeps with them all and plays pretend so it is worth it and I admit their sales are really good.

Ive been going to this build a bear since it opened and Ive only ever had one issue which was solved right away, the staff are always super nice and very helpful. Expect to go in and spend $100 or more if you have kids and no they dont only have Koalas in the summer despite a certain review trying to pass that off as a fact.

Went to the Build a Bear at Miller Hill Mall for my 8 year old grandson’s birthday. We were on a limited budget. The staff were polite but very annoyingly up selling the whole time. We kept having to say no. And even though I told them we were on a budget they directed their up selling to my grandson. Saying things like don’t you want to have a voice and insisting on demonstrating it even after we said no. It made for a very negative experience. If you have unlimited funds you will probably enjoy shopping there but it made for what should have been a fun experience into I can’t wait to get out of here one!

My 3 year old had a hay day. Wonderful customer assistance, and wonderful toys.

Big rip-off had a friend pay $62 for a bear that made this whiny opera sound - i said i would pay $62 to never hear that sound ever again for the rest of my life.

While being a very nice place to go with your kids to get a high quality teddy bear I will never go to pay your age events ever again I saw people getting overheated and leaving, kids crying sweating elderly people that brought their grandchildren just drenched in sweat if you cannot have a acceptable environment for these people to wait and you should not have a event like this.
