The shop and the employees are wonderful. But I have had my ring for less than a year and Ive had to send it in for replacement diamonds and to fix the band, twice. I just got it back and its already missing yet another diamond.... poor quality for the price.... Im sorry to say that I am not pleased.
My fiancé had a terrible experience there. They were not helpful at all. He said he wishes he went elsewhere for my ring because it was not the experience he felt he should have when buying an engagement ring. They didnt ask him if he wanted help so he had to ask them to show him stuff. They never approached him. When went to get my ring cleaned they didnt even ask my name, so how will my warranty be in tact if they didnt show I was there within the 6 months to get it checked/cleaned? And I asked where wedding bands were and she pointed and said over there didnt ask me if I wanted to take some out to look at it. I feel if you are in that line of business you need to be more helpful and a little more joyful for newly engaged people.
Ive always loved the customer service here, theyre always willing to help us out! I bought my wifes engagement ring and wedding band here.. 6 years later I had a band added to her wedding ring and they took very good care of me!
My husband and I stopped into the Duluth store to get my wedding set inspected in September 2020 and Naheed very rudely told me they were not doing inspections. She said she would sign off on the card as having been inspected and when she did she did not write down her initials. So in July when I called to see if inspections were being done yet, Naheed answered the phone. When asked about inspections, after a long awkward pause, she again answered rudely that they had been doing inspections for months now. To which I said I just wanted to check before I stopped in..... She hung up on me.When I stopped in with my wedding set I was relieved to have the Manager, Sheri, help me. She was very pleasant and took her time to make sure my set was not in need of any repairs and cleaned it before giving it back and signing my inspection card.Customer service is everything. If you are not capable of being pleasant with the public, then maybe a new career choice is in need.
We have shopped there for more then 40 years. They have lots of choices and good price ranges.

I hope the daughters of all the staff at this company get screwed the way that I did. I lost my engagement ring and went in to look for a new ring to buy. The first day I was there I worked out all the details with the salesperson and she had told me I was going to get 25% off plus $250 off in American Express cards. The next day I went in to pay for it with my fiancé, I don’t know why I would possibly be crazy enough to think that she wouldn’t lie to make a sale and would honor the deal of our agreed upon terms (the ONLY reason I bought the ring) and I let my fiancé pay for it and we left. Well I picked up the ring after getting it resized and realized I didn’t get the discount. I thought no biggie they probably just forgot and my fiancé called to fix it. Well nobody seemed to know why someone would tell me that and pretty much called me a liar to him. I call back to speak with the manager and she was so rude. Said she had no idea what I was talking about and after calling her out several times, all of a sudden she’s like oh yeah we had a 10% off sale going on that day. Well how suspicious that you had forgotten that. (And she had told my fiancé that there was no sale going on that day and that she had “double checked” hmmm. She then spent another 5 minutes saying I’m not understanding what she’s saying and kept talking/yelling over me. I asked her if her staff just lie to get sales and she finally admitted there was a MISUNDERSTANDING. So her misunderstanding cost me A LOT of money. And I asked her if she was going to do anything to fix it and she straight up said no. So really nice of this place to lie and screw people however they want to when they’re supposed to be the happiest. She even said she was fine with losing my business for the next 50 years. Really smart to lose my business for life for ONE TIME commission. Actually include everyone I know because I will make sure to tell everyone I ever meet not to go there like it’s my job. I will even personally drive them to another city to get their rings and I am at the age where all my friends are getting married. Good job Helzberg location Duluth, MN. I hope all your kids get screwed the way you screwed me. And shout out to that pushy old lady there, I’m guessing your husband finds that lovely.

I had the same experience as one of the other reviews.. Lady with brown hair and glasses (Laurie R is what my receipt said) didn’t really know anything about anything but I knew what I wanted so I didn’t have many questions. She started off nice while I was picking out what I wanted then when it came to ringing me up she tried to rip me off by charging me more than the actual price on several items. After I corrected her, I paid and when I got the receipt the bracelet price didn’t match up with what I had on my phone. She then said I can order that bracelet but they don’t have that one in store.. (with an attitude). I explained that it was the exact same bracelet that I have in my hand.. She then got even more of an attitude and changed the price, then told me that I’ll get my money back in the next few days.. ......Long story short.. She tried to rip me off and when I caught it she got mad and coped even more of an attitude.. Someone with that much of an attitude should NOT be working retail. I’LL NEVER GO BACK.. (And she looked unprofessional, with her makeup smeered all over her face like she had been messing around with the other guy working in back or something..)
I have gotten all 4 of my rings including wedding band, 15th anniversary, past, present, and future ring, and 30th anniversary rings there. They have been great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. This Helzberg cleans my rings better than any other!

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. We stopped by with some friends that where looking and they where helped emedietly. The only negative I have is that they where very pushy. My girlfriend and I where just browsing and the lady kept trying to sell us stuff.

We sent some jewelry to get fixed but when I picked they charged us but they hadnt done the work. They gave us our money back but we are done doing business with them.
Not happy at all.. since we bought our wedding set H 1 clarity we have had two diamonds fall out since may 12th 2018.. 1st stone one week after. Stone was found and put back in the second stone which wasy center stone was also found and brought back to be put back in. It took longer than promised and looking at pictures the center stone is not the same one it has been changed out for a different one.. the clarity sparkle cuts are different.. extremely disappointed I feel ripped off.

I usually love this store but was not impressed on my last visit . I was swinging by for my free gift and was not greeted or helped for 10 mins. There were 2 ladies working and at first 1 was busy with a customer. But even after she was free, I was not greeted .

They literally never answer the phone and I never got a response back from trying to setup an appointment online since I couldnt get ahold of them over the phone. When I originally ordered my ring they never called me to let me know it came in either.
Customer service was great had my wedding ring repaired only a short turnaround time.
I had a gold chain sent out for repair and was told it would be back in 2 weeks. Five weeks later I returned to the store looking to find out what the hold up was and they had the chain and the repair was done nicely. However they could not explain to me why I was not notified it was in or why it took so long. The sales person was not willing or able to do anything to recitify the issue only say he was sorry and couldnt explain what had happened. I will have to find a new place to go to purchase my jewelery and have repairs done.
Ive been here before and had a good experience but after what happened today... Never again! Rude and unhelpful! Some lady with shoulder length dark brown hair wearing glasses. Please tell me shes not the manager cause if she is she needs to go back to orientation and do some training. Terrible terrible terrible!
