Great service ! I just left Como after 30 years after they jacked my propane up to $2,79.9 a gallon! I and hope to stay with Superior Fuel for the next 30 years. We have 3 properties and use lots of propane.

We switched propane dealers recently from a previously locally owned company that is not locally owned anymore and their customer service went downhill while their prices went uphill. Superior Fuel has far exceeded our expectations with excellent customer support and great prices. When the guys came out to switch tanks, they found a very small leak in the coupling next to one of the regulators. I had called our previous company last year because we could smell gas, they came out and said it was normal. BOO! Our Superior Fuel dude (I think his name was Todd) didnt even charge us for the new copper fittings. YAY! Very happy so far!

Great company, our install went well, very professional and when I called to check on our first full it was already scheduled based on the original notes they had on file. So easy to work with.

We just switched over to superior fuel company. With the previous fuel company, We would call and end up with a Service Rep in another state, Requesting a fill as the tank was at 30%. They would not show up until it was almost 10%. Which caused us furnace problems. This last week, Superior Fuel came out first thing in the morning on the appointment date, with a tank. They set it up and they also changed the regulator on the house. He came in and checked out every appliance and made sure everything was working properly. He was so thoughtful and explained everything. We never had that kind of great service with the last fuel company. Even when we first called to switch to them and any followup conversations, we got local Service Reps on the phone. No East Coast or West Coast office. The tank will be monitored by radio frequency and filled automatically. So far we are so pleased with their time, explanations, consideration and punctuality.

I have been a Superior Fuel customer for many years and I dont have one single complaint!! They are always right there when I need them whether it be for service or information. The office staff and servicemen are friendly and very accommodating.. I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a reliable and honest propane provider!!

We just recently made the switch over to Superior Fuel Company from another provider. The switchover process and setup was well handled and incredibly smooth. The contact people in the office are very friendly and helpful. I only went four stars instead of five because we havent had a long experience with them yet, but based on what Ive seen so far, I expect to receive excellent service.

The installation of our 1000 gallon tank was done very well, however, the truck left ruts in my yard that I have e-mailed Stacy about since I would like them repaired and have yet to receive a reply. Since my review, Stacy has contacted me and the repairs which are being scheduled. Otherwise, my experience with Superior Fuel has been nothing but exceptional, great staff and great drivers. Hence, my rating has been changed to 5 stars. We look forward to many more years of service.

Excellent work by Superior Fuels employees to transition us from another vendor. Gary was professional and thorough while placing the new tank and performing safety checks. The web based tank monitor is a plus. Glad we switched to Superior Fuel.

The process was very smooth, the office staff have always been extremely helpful, and the installation of the tank and line went very smoothly. Superior Fuel is great to work with. The staff are extremely helpful when it comes to answering all your questions. Their response times are incredible and they are always happy to help. I am so happy I switched over to them. My previous propane company was just that, a company where Superior Fuel Company makes you feel like a part of their family. They treat you so well. I wish I had switched to them sooner.

I am new to the whole propane deal and they were very nice in explaining how their company worked. They put me on a monthly program right away which other companies wouldnt do until you were a customer for a year. It was easy to sigh papers all on line.

Dysfunctional.I have set up account that was supposed to start from Jan 1 and do automatic reading and filling of the tanks. It is Jan 20 now and nobody came to fill the tank and to set up automatic reading.I have called Superior Fuel 3rd time for the month today:- After first call they have sent inspection guy 2 weeks after the beginning of the contract.- After second call they took a note and nothing happened.- Today they took a note once again and promised something to happen within 5 business days.

They came and swapped out my old tank when I switched over to them. It was quick and painless and their tech was the nicest person. Great company!

This company is one of the worst. I called and canceled them twice this year but they dont have it on file so they auto-renewed me for 36 months. If i want to opt out i owe them over a $1000 (at which i do not receive any propaone).They are always 10 to 20 cents over everyone every year. Their customer service seems nice on the phone but the processes are always disappointing in the end.

Recently in December, I called for a fill of a 120 gal. tank that was 10% on a Monday. This supplied heat, hot water, and stove to a cabin that we rent out and is occupied. We like in Grand Marais, and there is a local delivery person. We were told the next delivery would be a week. I called on that Friday as the tank was then 0%, and a delivery was made late that day. The local delivery man was not aware I needed gas, and had not been notified by the custom service representative in Duluth. There was still gas in the tank according to the delivery person. I was charged $75 extra for a line check. I believe I gave adequate time for a local delivery, and was unfairly assessed an extra charge. My wife discussed this with customer service, who said they could not refund it. I am a new customer to Superior Fuel, mainly because they heavily advertised as the only local company who ensured good local customer service. I am happy with the service Allen L. has given us locally, but the system in Duluth is not fine-tuned for us--the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing.Same day edit: I received a call in response to my concerns, and Superior Fuel Company has responded in a satisfactory way to allay my concerns by refunding the cost of the leak test. I have agreed to try to call when the tank is 20-30% for refill. I have revised my rating of Superior Fuel to FIVE STARS.

I got a better price per gallon then my previous company and the instal just took a few short hours. When I called for my first fill there were out to my house that very day. Had a bad expierence with another fuel company in town after 15 plus years of service with them. I had to make a change. I chose superior fuel because there a local company yet. Service was a little slow at first but thats to be expected. Once the ball was rolling it went fast and all the employees i have dealt with were friendly and helpful. Superior came 5 miles out in the woods and got us set up with a 1000 gallon tank. Then they gave us a second fill right before the snowstorm shut down our road to all traffic except dogsleds and snowmobiles. Great people. Especially Sandy!

We had a delivery during a snow storm and were very impressed with the excellent service. The roads had not been plowed yet and yet the delivery truck made it through with no problem. We are very7 pleased with the top=notch service.

Corey was incredibly efficient and does top notch professional work. He dug a shorter route between the tank and the house regulator than we originally estimated, leveled the tank, set up the garage heater for when its decided to hook it up, and put a shiny new bright orange sticker on the tank. Ordered a new tank/fill as a new customer. Two weeks later I noticed my paperwork was incorrect. Called and had it corrected. Wait another two weeks for that tank/fill. Nothing. Called. Order was never placed. Waited another week. Got new tank. No propane. Guy said he would be back the next day to fill. Waited 4 more days before he got here. Paid the first 2 of 32 payments before I even got any gas! So far not impressed, but we will see how it goes.EDIT: Just talked to Josh and got things resolved. Great response. Thanks. This company offered me fuel for a more affordable rate than the competitors in my area, this is the first time Ive had to set up and deal with an account for propane. I did not like how everything was set up for our billing and autopay as I have been over drafted twice in the month I have been using their service due to costs that I was not informed of, however after talking with the customer service it sounds like it should be smooth going forward and they knocked off 30 cents per gallon on my first two fillups resulting in a credit on my account. Heads up if you switch to them you may be billed for actual product multiple times before you are billed for service to set everything up

Horrible, unprofessional service. Every year they forgot to fill my 120 tank. At first their prices were reasonable, but since then, every year they jack up the price of fuel higher than anyone in the state by $0.20. If you call to get out of a contract, they make it extremely difficult, even if you are paid up, via their price matching clause. Trying to get someone to fill out any contract or invoice correctly is next to impossible. Extremely poor communicators. It takes them about 2 months to get just the paperwork done that should only take a week or two to complete an entire job. Once, when I called for assistance, a representative picked up the phone and needed to talk to another representative. She literally yelled across the room my requests instead of putting me on hold or just handing over the phone. BTW, a representative confessed that they work their service drivers 12 hour days.

Horrible customer service. Sketchy billing practices. Non-competitive prices. I bought a house 1 year ago that was leasing a Superior Fuel Company tank. Until I replace the tank I am stuck with them. In the last year they have done plenty to convince me to invest in my own tank. Do NOT waste your time doing business with this company.

We got a different propane tank this summer and Angela was so helpful answering all my concerns. Tyler even called after it was installed to make sure it went smoothly.

Not very good communication or customer service. Scheduled my tank to be filled - first time with Superior Fuel. They replaced a regulator for $95 without me knowing. When I called they said my regulator was out dated, but couldnt tell me the what their parameters were. Service was suppose to call me back - that was three days ago. Still havent heard back from them.
