If you want to go to a car place where they dont try to scam you, this is the place to go. I just moved here from Ohio and the Meineke in Ohio was the same way. Expensive but honest.

So I went to this auto shop a few months back. The customer service was really decent. Even prior to actually turning my car in I had really good vibes about this shop....However when they called to tell me my car was soon to be ready, they also told me they werent gonna be able to TEST DRIVE my car... Because I didnt have enough gas in my car...Mind you the service cost me $1000.00 plus. My question at that point was, well how can you confirm the work you did without a test drive?Needless to say, I had to negotiate for them to add $5 to my bill and put gas in my car to test drive the vehicle. Im not saying that they should foot the bill on my gas, but what if something went wrong that could have been caught in a test drive while my family was in the car.Needless to say I wont be coming back to this shop.

I had a new catalytic converter installed. It was quick and efficiently done and Im most appreciative.

Workmanship was great, I had an appointment for 12 and didn’t get call on quote till 1:15 and did not get a call when the truck was done. I showed up and it was sitting in the parking lot. I had my muffler replaced. I just wish the communication was a little better. The muffler sounds great, and I am happy with the work.

Courteous and efficient service, had to wait a little for the parts to come in, but that was to be expected. I’m a happy camper.

I was in the market for an aftermarket exhaust system for my Mazda 3 hatch, I was originally looking at a Borla system for $600 when a co-worker suggested I take it to Meineke. Within a week they got me in, did exactly what I wanted and the car sounds fantastic, not to mention they saved me over $200. Definitely would recommend for a custom exhaust.

The manager of this place has anger issues and is extremely unprofessional. I have yet to have my issue with the improper installation of my air conditioning resolved from Oct 2020, by them or corporate who just gives fake phone numbers and blanket responses to my issues. I would recommend going elsewhere for your car business if you value proper installation, professional treatment, respect or any kind of decency.

GET OUT OF MY SHOP!!!Yup, thats exactly what the franchise owner, Jerry, screamed after he slammed his fist on the counter following my return to share concerns about a $600+ AC repair his guys had completed just days earlier. His forehead red as a plumb and veins bulging while pencils and computer monitor rattled on the desk, I can honestly say that I have NEVER before been spoken to with such disrespect by any store employee, manager or owner in my entire life. His lack of professionalism was not only astonishing, but in some respects even impressive.While the repairs Id had completed did in fact restore my AC system to operable condition, there was no caution nor observation put forth into making sure the aesthetics of the vehicle were maintained and the same color part used. Rather that giving the customer the option of either a) paying more to have the identical part ordered from Honda (in black), or b) elect to have the aluminum aftermarket part installed for less (though the silver part would then be visible to the public through the front grill), the shop decided to install what they had available and hope the customer didnt care.My answer: that if I wanted the matching replacement installed, I could pay for the entire job to be done over again. Both parts and labor.And when I asked why they hadnt called to give me the option OR at the very least bring it to my attention prior to installation: Nah...we dont do all that. Verbatim.So now I have what looks like a chrome coat hangar jammed beneath my smoke-gray grill, a distinct reminder of my sin for choosing to do business with Meineke. And while I have nothing bad to say about the mechanics at this location as they all seem to conduct themselves appropriately and have a certain degree of expertise, the owners lack of integrity far outweighs all benefits their particular skillsets might provide. If this guy could deny any accountability whatsoever after taking that much money from a customer, and in return treat a total stranger so atriciously, I could only imagine what the employees put up with on a daily basis. I genuinely feel bad for them. Lets just say that had Jerry spoken to my wife in the same tone that echoed through the garage following his tempur-tantrum, hed have a bigger problem on his hands right now than just a poor review.*Zero integrity*No accountability*A new low in customer careJerry gets an F on every evaluation. Heck, Id give him a Z if I could. While I dont usually go to this extent following an unprofessional experience (weve all had em), I even intend to contact Corporate on this one. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you save yourself the trouble!MORAL OF THE STORY:*Ditch Meineke. Maybe give Firestone (just down the road) a try.and.....*Dont be like Jerry. Because Jerry sucks big time.

Would definitely not recommend taking your car here. I took my car in for a diagnostics because it was shutting off, and meineke calls me not even an hour later to tell me they can’t find the issue except for some cosmetic issues. So I was stuck paying them $65 for them to not tell me what the issue was with my car. I had to take my car to Ford and I am now getting a new fuel pump. So why did meineke charge me $65 for not looking at my car properly. The whole point of a diagnostic is to find the issue with your car, but the mechanics that work here are just too lazy.

I tried this place twice and I was disappointed both times. Once for an exhaust pipe repair and it was done with poor quality and over priced. Second time I set an 8:00 am appointment and my car was never looked at or worked on.

I usually get my oil changes here and everything is always fine in that aspect. Yesterday was more of an issue of comfort. I understand the precautions related to the pandemic, however there was no where to wait comfortably and while multiple people waited for the oil changes we were stuck just standing outside in the parking lot in the heat. Only one bench that only one person could sit on. At least just putting some chairs out there would be nice.

We went to get new tires on our vehicle, a check engine light looked at, and replacement bulb for our front right blinker. Our vehicle was there for 2 and half hours before someone told us that the lug nut cannot be taken off by normal means, okay well they finally replaced the tires and were ready to leave 4 and half hours later after charging us another 150$ for labor just to find out that they never replaced the bulb for the turn signal and the check engine light was still on. So what was the first 2 and a half hours for ???? And why did I get charged another 150 when they could have done it in the first 2 hours ???

The service and professionalism of the staff was exceptional. I had a 9:00 appt. My vehicle was taken in for service shortly after checking in. They saved me over $1200 in repairs to my rear catalytic converter. I would recommend them to my friends and family for their service needs.

So they have a sign out front that says they do oil changes for $14.95. I walk in ask for an oil change, the guy behind the counter was rude, and told me they only do glass and then wouldnt even tell me where I could go get an oil change. Why do you have a sign out front thats false advertising for oil changes that you guys dont do? Then when I call to ask, nobody answers the phone. Worst Meineke Ive ever been in.

This place is a joke. The service advisor if you can call her that Brooke is unknowledgeable, ignorant and rude. The General manager is the rudest person I have ever come across. I was not satisfied with my service because I did not receive an inspection with my oil change. Prior to receiving my service, the unfriendly receptionist assured me twice, that an inspection would be done on the entire car. But, after paying for my service I was informed that an inspection was not conducted.

My experience with this location was exceptional. Jerry and Dan level of customer service was wonderful. They both are very knowledgeable and I would not hesitate to come back to receive any type of service on any of my vehicles. I was quoted for six hours of service at PepBoys which in return was only two hours with Meineke. I was extremely happy about that. It is rare that you find great customer service or employees within the Car Service field who are very attentive. Thank you and I will continue to come to this location for all my needs moving forward.

I went to the shop on Tuesday with a car issue. I was told I have a rear main seal leak. With in hours Dan had my car diagnosed and parts were ordered he confirmed I had a warranty to cover Most of the cost. Dan and Kevin had my car back to me Thursday evening. My appointment was at 3pm but i arrived early and was actually out at 3pm.

I had went to Jiffy Lube, NTB, & Safelite to have my passenger window fixed. All it needed was a regulator for the window to work again & go up & down. All the other places had one excuse or another why they couldnt fix it. I took my car to Meineke on a Saturday morning & by Saturday afternoon it was finished. They were a little more expensive than I would have liked, even with my coupon, but Brooke in the office is great & the mechanics show you the old parts & explain what went wrong. Great service!

Every 3 months I go there, there’s always a new manager but I must say, I really enjoy the new manager that’s there now. Hes so pleasant and has no problem taking the time to answer questions and look into things for you! This was an extremely disappointing experience. I came in with a break light out. Considering a break Light is under $10 but I was charged $55. I was disgusted. However, I had already spent 30 minutes waiting and being on a tight schedule I needed to move forward. Then I got into my car and it smelled like cigarettes. As a non-smoker, this is unacceptable. For any future work, I wont consider Meineke.Update. I received a call from Jerry, the Manager. I was told the $55 charge for replacement of a brake light was reasonable and his employees dont smoke. Interesting Jerry, there is a window into the shop, so I actually watch your mechanic get in and out of my car with a cigarette lit. I am absolutely disgusted and I wont return or recommend Meineke.

Excellent service. They will do exactly what you want to be done at your car and you will be advised on any other issue they came across while repairing. However they would not be pushy to do any other repairs as other shops do. They will have you on the loop as the repair progress.

I waited 2 hours outside in the heat and the sun. Had to ask for a chair to sit on. Asked for a $14.95 oil change and a $89.95 front end alignment. After paying $117.** I was told their Alignment machine was broken. So they refunded me some money after figuring out the difference I paid $27.** for the oil change. Plus they couldn’t figure out how to reset the sensor so my vehicle still says I need said oil change. Very disappointed!!

Needed to get brakes and rotors for the front to pass state inspection. These guys were great! Josh the manager is really kind and caring. He tells you it to you straight and is very honest. The prices were the best I could find, and they did a great job. You can watch them work on your car, and it was great seeing how these guys are all really tight with each other. The brake pads come with lifetime warranty which was a sweet deal. Definitely recommend this Meineke service location for your car needs!

Assistant manager, really wish I could remember his name, was really helpful with dealing with car advise who were being less than helpful. While there also noticed how helpful all employees were with other customers! Will be returning and recommending to friends!

I had a very good experience bringing my car to meineke. Craig was very helpful & waited on me right away and my car was in the bay within 3 minutes of requesting an oil change. My oil change was done and I was back on the road within 30 minutes. The price was real reasonable as well: $19.97 including a disposal fee and tax. I will definitely be bringing my car back again!!

Theres definitely a good reason why these guys get good reviews. Friendly, helpful, quick, and skilled. I only did an oil change, but I sat in the waiting area long enough to see how well they treat customers and how much effort they put into making sure that everyones cars are a priority.

Josh and his crew were super friendly and knowledgeable. You could tell these guys respected and trusted each other. We waited a short amount of time since we had an appointment and was early. Went to get an oil change and car checkup. They cared about my safety and physically showed me my brake problems so I was aware of how bad they were. Josh explained everything so I could understand what was done to my car and what I should get fixed ASAP. They also didn’t haggle me for anything I didn’t want done to my car. Reasonably priced, quick service, truthful, and honorable.

Oil change nice and fast

I was looking for a place to get my oil changed last minute and these guys came through. I didn’t have to set up appointment or wait long hours or have to leave my car and come back later or another day which really was a huge bonus. The office was clean and delivered dnt try to up sell me which was A breath of fresh air for me. They got me in changed my oil and got me out in a decent amount of time. The staff was Courteous and Friendly and waiting room was very clean with tv for those who want to watch.

I went to the Meinike in Dundalk MD, my first time there. I have been a loyal Meinike customer at a facility in Lewes DE for many years but now live in MD.The shop/ waiting area was not clean, the person behind the plexiglass was not wearing aMask and both technicians who drove my car in to service and out of the service area did not wear a mask.As far as I am aware the oil change is fine. I will not be going back to the Dundalk Meinike.

Meineke has been providing me with excellent service since I started coming here. Anytime I have any issues they will fit me in right away. Danny works on customers cars as if they were his own. Danny will explain to me any issues that he finds when working on my vehicle.

Team at Meineke worked with me to get the best deal on a new muffler. They were able to fit me into the schedule over the weekend and get my car back on the road again. Would recommend and would come back in the future for any car care needs.

Always great seevice. Update I had taken my 4 runner to be MD inspected at another shop on wise ave. They hit me on my cat and exhaust manifold. I brought my truck to Jerry to fix. The boys did a great job as always. I took the truck back for re inspection and the owner of the shop did not like that I had taken it elsewhere to correct the issues. Start to harass me, picking anything he could to not pass the truck. I took truck back to Jerry, him and Danny made sure it was all done correctly and I when back to do a re inspection. The owner of the shop Chris said it wasnt done correctly again and without my permission he said he had to re weld the exhaust and charged us for it. I had no choice but to pay him so he would pass the truck. Jerry And his team are awesome. I know a lot about mechanical work on cars. And they have always done right with me. For the people who write bad reviews on these guys dont know much about their business or mechanic`s. If I could give them a 6 star rating I would. They went over backwards to help me out of a really bad situation with a con. If you dont like their service, go to quality muffler and brakes, once you get racked over by them you will see what truly bad service is all about. Then you can write a true bad review.
