Did not keep 2 individuals after receiving vaccine (covid) to make sure they had no reaction. Not good. Tech giving vaccine didnt even know difference between IM & SQ .I am a nurse this individual should not be giving injections. Not good. Wouldnt let her near me.
Pharmacy is a joke. Lazy, disorganized, honest to G-d sometimes just plain dumb.
Rob in the Pharmacy is extremely helpful, patient and really made me feel like he cared! You can tell he enjoys the work that he does and is so positive, and funny too! :) Thank you again Rob! ☺️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Pharmacy here is TERRIBLE. Don’t even bother trying to call because you will sit on hold without even speaking to someone for 10 minutes just for them to pick up the phone and ask you to hold. They hardly greet you when you walk up and almost pretend your not there and then finally acknowledge you.
Today I finally met a person in the pharmacy who was not only helpful but equally respectful. His name was Don/Pharmacy Tech. Also Mary, another Pharmacy Tech is super friendly and very respectful to all customers. Since my insurance changed, I was forced to choose CVS.(please note that I have had only obstacles thrown in my way and problems with both Pharmacists (Jason and Anisha). They lie not only to me as a customer but to my doctor’s office staff as well. Jason not only told me that my meds were not covered, he noted that I needed prior written notice from “the help desk which was written on the back of my insurance card. I told Jason that I will phone the doctor, which he replied that doctors do not solve this and abruptly noted again to contact my insurance company. After speaking with a supervisor from the insurance company about my dilemma, she noted that it is the PHARMACISTS RESPONSIBLE TO CALL THE DOCTOR. Shame on Jason for passing his job on to others. Also, his condescending attitude is not appreciated nor acceptable. Shame on CVS for hiring pharmacists who want to do the least as possible. Jason and Anisha have poor work ethics and should be ashamed of themselves when dealing with customers. Perhaps Don and/or Mary could teach them professionalism and empathy when dealing with people who are not well and need support. Is CVS so desperate that they are forced to hire people with minimal mindset and abrupt behavior(s). Too bad that I can’t give the Pharmacists zero stars and Don and Mary 5 stars. Management should observe these so called professionals and have them trained in customer care and communication.Sincerely,Beth Nable
I love this CVS store because the CVS employees at this specific location are Super friendly. The customer service at this CVS store is Awesome and all of the CVS location should do the same.
I won’t get into a lengthy review of why I am giving them 1 star (should be 0) suffice to say that their pharmacy dept is lacking in professionalism. One of the pharmacists is an out and out liar. She told me she called my physicians office to renew a prescription...she never did. Disgraceful. She should not be in the health field.
Amanda helped me with getting a medlist and was super accomodating and kind. Thank you for excellent customer service!
Its now clear why only three positive reviews are recent (less than a year). Ive waited to fill this review out, hoping for a better experience with staff over time. But today was enough to decide.Very rude pharmacy staff and store management. Ive filled here five or six times and consistently experienced this.In fairness, there are a couple of cashiers and one pharmacy tech who are friendly. The woman who is head pharmacist has also been helpful and courteous. If not for them, this would be a one star review. Not a stay away situation, but certainly one that has been less than pleasant.Edit: I wasnt aware there were so many 1-Star reviews until filling this out today. It seems either youll have a great experience or a very poor one here. Customers beware. This may be one you really should avoid.
I just wish I could give no stars!I previously went to this same pharmacy and picked up my childs prescription and when I asked if GOOD RX was cheaper than my insurance cost I was given the GOOD RX price.Sooo here is my problemI went into the same CVS store yesterday to get my wifes prescriptions and her insurance was not applied yet to the 3 prescriptions. When the Pharmacy Tec was running the insurance cost I asked the tec if the insurance was cheaper than good rx (like I did with my daughters meds) and was told insurance price was lower than all Good RX prices.I got home and looked at the prescriptions and found out I could have saved on the prescriptions. I called the pharmacists on duty (JASON SHEAKOSKI) and told him the situation. After a little explaining I told him if I could get my prescriptions cheaper I need that. He told me to print out the GOOD RX coupon and bring it in and he will take care of the situation.I get to the Pharmacy and the tec starts to take care of the lower price then stops and says this coupon is from a different pharmacy. I then told them that I was not given the opportunity to take my prescription to a different pharmacy because the pharmacy tec told me from the day before that the insurance was cheaper than any good rx price.Jason Sheakoski then came back into the conversation and told me what do you want me to do match prices? I told him I only wanted what was right that I either return the prescription (so I can go to the place that will get me the better price) or get my difference back. He then told me condescendingly Where do you work? I answered I was retired military with 33 years of service. Then he continued in a condescending voice Soo you knew where everything was at every base when you were in the military! I got red in the face.He then asked me to look up GOOD RX for CVS and he will only honor that price. I then told him I was not given the chance to go anywhere else because I was told my copay was cheaper. After 20 mins of waiting he told me he will charge me the higher price and not honor anything he told me over the phone. He started to talk down to me again about how much time and money I am wasting and then he turned away. I went to the register and dropped the cash total for the GOOD RX price as discussed over the phone with him and started to walk away.Jason Sheakoski then yells at me across the store and then runs out of Pharmacy area and says you are stealing if you dont pay the full amount and I will put that in your profile that you are a THIEF. I stopped and turned around and told him I will not steal but you are stealing from me. I told him I will pay the full insurance amount but I will make a complaint about him and his manners. He said Ohh do what you want but you are still paying! When I went to the register he started to badger me about doing what he wanted and paying the full amount. I told him to stop badgering me and go away. He continued with his harassment after I told him 2 times to stop.I payed the full insurance amount and as I was walking out stopped to talk to some CVS program managers from the district office that heard Jason Sheakoski badgering me at the register. He said he will convey all that happened to the CVS district team. He tried to make it right with a CVS gift card but I told him this is hard times and if a Pharmacy Manager is more worried about not helping people when money is tight and giving them options of using GOOD RX or going to other pharmacies if the price is cheaper elsewhere...when will CVS care about its patrons that pay for all the salaries including that Pharmacy Manager who all but stated that his 45$ an hour job is more important than the customers who are in need of prescriptions and saving money when able.BOTTOM LINE: CVS should be looking out for its patrons and if able to save them money should try.
Refused to even try any discount RX code, so had to pay full price. Will never use CVS again.
They just ignored me for 15 min on drop off despite no customers....
If you want to put your health at risk, this is the place to be! Over 2 hours waiting for over the counter order to be processed. An hour later, the Pharmacists tells me he forgot to process the OTC items that I had looked for and given to hime, after I patiently waited in front of the pick up area for ONE hour. The store assistant managergets involved, pharmavist lied to her saying I cancelled the order. She tells them to process it, 30 mins later I asked about it and got the same respnse you told us to cancel when a manager asked him in front of me to fill it. This same pharmacists worked at another cvs location and messed up my prescription twice. This was my 1st and last visit to this location. Read revies on Sunset and 19 location ad well.
A genuinely fantastic pharmacy. Well organized store. Wonderful staff who cares about you and your needs The pharmacy staff is particularly awesome They never let your prescriptions run out! A genuinely first class organization! I forgot they also have a great rewards program! It will save you a lot of money!
CVS Minute Clinic provided misinformation when I recently went to the clinic for medically recommended vaccines. They told me the vaccines are NOT covered by Medicare (although they did NOT inform me these vaccines ARE covered by Medicare D). By NOT informing of this I was required to pay approximately 3 times the cost I would have been charged through Medicare D. I called to complain to CVS Minute Clinic customer service and was told it was MY fault because I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN. NOT GREAT WAY FOR CVS MINUTE CLINIC TO TREAT OUR SENIOR CITIZENS.
Pharmacy needs more reps. Usually most of them are grumpy due to the customer volume. The store is fine, clean and nice. Its just the pharmacy.
I want to thank u so much for the kind and professional store manager Mary Daniels. She is awesome! Great job!P.S. I really didnt know her before today, shes just that awesome!
Nicole goes above and beyond for her customers. She should be promoted. Thanks for your great service girl...
Normally the service in the pharmacy department has been very bad, but last time, s new girl Amanda, was very kind and helpful, is the first time that I left the place very satisfied.
Mixed feelings..pharmacy does a bad job not professional and hard to get your medicines..but there is 1 pharmacist whos super nice and helpful...its sad that his great work gets overshadow by the other pharmacist with the glasses who does a horrible job.
Convenient location off of Main Street and Belcher. The pharmacy staff are very knowledgeable. They carry a large variety of products at reasonable prices.
I use to like CVS, but not anymore. I brought my sons prescription in to get filled and had a manufacturer coupon from my sons physician to reduce the price to just $15. The tech acknowledged the coupon and told me it will be ready in a half hour. I go to pick up my sons prescription and the same guy says its now $30. The coupon clearly states as long as the retail price is below $75 ( it was $50) all I have to pay is $15. He said its up to the CVS which is in direct contrast of the manufacturer coupon. He said if I dont want to pay $30 I just wont get my sons medication. I eventually paid the $30, because I wasnt going to have my son do without his medicine but since then I refuse to give CVS anymore business. Walmart pharmacy honored the $15 price the following month.
I went to the pharmacy yesterday to pick up a common medication. They only had a few in stock and said it would be free the next day. I did not receive a notification that it was ready, so I called and it was ready to day. They charged me today, even though I told them what they said about it being free. It was not the best attitude or service today.
As you see on previous posts, 5 years ago, this pharmacy went above and beyond. They have changed. The pharmacy now closes at 9 PM weekdays and 6 PM Weekends. They also fail to have medications on hand that are standard meds. When they do not have one on hand, it takes several days before they get it in. My family is moving all of our prescriptions to another pharmacy that offers the kind of service this one offered 5 years ago.
NEVER come here for minute clinic. Came here because it was closer than curlew. BIG MISTAKE, told I had a 25 minute wait and Im still waiting an hour and a half later. Makes me wonder if this DR even knows what shes doing
Im using CVS because of my insurance and this CVS (Belcher/580) because of its nearest my home, otherwise, Id be going to Walgreens. This store, like many CVS stores, is untidy. And in some cases - downright DIRTY. The CVS staff in general, in all their Pinellas stores, should be given a remedial Customer Service 101 course. And, as other reviewers have aptly described, their rudeness is only superceded by their incompetence. And the managers and assistant managers are obviously promoted to their level of uselessness.
This review is concerning the pharmacy. Went to pick my prescription and they could not find anything in their system. Called the doctor and doctor said it was sent. Then the lady magically found it. Then she would not give it to me because the pharmacist needs to see it . It has been five hours and no medication or call from them. Stay clear of this place and do publix or walgreens instead.
Dropped off a script yesterday to pick Neds up today. Called this AM to see if it was ready and the girl that answered as much as called me stupid. Said I must have brought it to another pharmacy because she is the only one that works the drop off and knows I did not bring it in there. Finally I talked to the pharmacist who said she would check it out and call me back. 5 minutes later she calls back and guess what. The script was sitting on the shelf at drop off.
The pharmacy staff at this location is amazing. My boyfriend has epilepsy and his medications are expensive. Were talking thousands of dollars without ins. We had an issue with his prescription coverage and his necessary medication would have costed $1000. Without this medication my bf cannot function and has daily siezures. His quality of life is reduced to when will the next seizure happen. Well the staff at CVS went above and beyond even when his own doctor messed up the new script. CVS helped get the correct medication filled and for less than $200. Its a serious issue when we cant get affordable life saving medication, but it is a breath of fresh air to know that we have a pharmacy willing to help make sure our health and well being is a priority and that we dont have to live in complete fear of life threatening illnesses.
I love this pharmacy. I have always kept them regardless of my location. The staff is always helpful!
Very inefficient store. Drop off prescription and received a text that it is ready then went and said it wasn’t processed thru insurace. This is not the first time I filled my prescription, in fact last month and you are telling me you don’t have my insurance on file and if I want to pay cash! This is plain stupidity and laziness to transfer a prescription from one CVS store to the other. Poor service, tech deserves zero star!
Horrible customer service at the pharmacy. Rude staff. Was dropping off a prescription only and they attended 2 people that arrived after me in the other car lane. This is an ongoing issue and happens almost every month when I come to fill prescriptions here. Considering going to a further CVS just because they are so bad here. I would recommend any other CVS for prescriptions.
Horrible tech over weight lady with brown hair profiled me because of my doctor not knowing I was in a auto accident. Discriminates against doctors she doesnt like and doesnt care about your health told me to comeback when she wasnt around very rude would not recommend. Ive been there and never had a problem before. Will post her name later.
Love it, love it. They have everything I need and the friendly staff is so helpful.
The sale prices are a lie.Buy 1 get 1 half off actually means buy 1 get 1 full price25% off actually means full price.Theyre cheats; I wont be going back.
Make sure you pre-register online for minute clinic. I did and still waited for an hour past the time I was scheduled to show up for a basic vaccination.
Usually has what you need from a pharmacy/retail store. But watch those prices! Very high and other retail stores close by that carry same items for less $$.
Ive used this Pharmacy for several years because they are contracted with my sons insurance. there are a few people that have worked there for a long time, that actually know what their doing, but overall this Pharmacy needs major improvements.Number one, the drive-thru. if youre in a rush you might as well go in will wait 10 minutes and line inside. You will be at least a half-hour in the Drive-Thru! theres one spot to drive thru and even if they have someone getting a prescription thats not ready they just let them sit there fo minutes at a time when they should be asking them to pull back around the building . Number to several of the employees are extremely rude and have no customer service skills whatsoever and should not be working in the customer service field . To start with I just called to get some information on a prescription for my son and whoever the a** was that I talked to was rude and talked over me as I am in tears. my son now permanently has to be on a medication and I was very upset and overwhelmed. she or he (I couldnt tell) was extremely rude non sympathetic and told me i neede to bring in a prescription 1st to get info on it. All I wanted to know was that if I got a prescription for Ritalin for my son if I could get it filled at the pharmacy but she wouldnt give me any information. I guess theres protocols but all they have to do is say; yes thats a prescription that we can fill or no Im sorry youll have to find another Pharmacy! Just the fact that she was talking over me and wouldnt let me get a word out Im done with this Pharmacy go ahead and try it if you want but Im sure you will soon be switching as well
Im so grateful they are open 24hrs. From that tooth ache in the middle of the night to back pain, they are open.
The store may be open 24 hours, but not the actual pharmacy. Disappointed when I went to pick up meds my pediatrician called in only to discover the pharmacy was closed at 9 pm. I think Ill switch to Walgreens.
Dont remember what happened or even why I was there a year ago
Great customer service
Friendly staff. Central location. Not a 24 hour pharmacy.
Not 24rs!!!! Hasnt been for a very long time
Always Helpful
Nice
