The sales staff was great to work with and I got all what I was going for. After that, my experience with them has been nothing but bad! The furniture was delivered on two different occasions which I had problems with both. The delivery guys were great to deal with but furniture had problems. I called customer service several times and still yet to have all of my furniture right. My first experience was they replaced a recliner with one that did not work correctly just to get on in the same condition and found problems with other furniture that was delivered on the same day. I called customer service again and had to take another day off to wait for service to come out. They looked at things and said that parts would be ordered to fix and would take no longer than 2 weeks. 2 months later, still no parts or repairs have been done. Called again for them to tell me that they have no records of anything needing to be ordered and they would call back with details on what’s going on. Another week goes by and still no call. Getting tired of calling with no results and waiting 20 minutes to just talk with a person that cannot tell me anything. Paid a lot of money for new furniture to have half of it not useable. Bottom line is that if you buy, hope that everything is good then and you never have to deal with the customer service!!
My parents are in the process of selling their home in NY and moving to NC. On top of all that, my Uncle died very suddenly on Saturday. As you can imagine, our family is very beaten down. We went in to Rooms to Go Dunn on Sunday and I got one of the salesmen, Stan Barefoot, because he looked nice. I cannot say enough good things about the way Stan helped my parents. He took the time to listen to what my parents wanted and needed, helped them find beautiful bedroom and living room furniture AND shared some things about himself... just above and beyond customer service. He sold my parents furniture without selling them on furniture. I know we will be back to purchase again from Rooms to Go in Dunn, and I will always ask if Stan is available to help me. Truly above and beyond, top notch, personable customer service. THANK YOU STAN!!!

If I had a 0 star option I would select it. First, the purchase experience at Store #1609 was great. Those people there are professional, friendly and knowledgeable.Now, for the delivery service, pick up, exchange, customer service of Rooms To Go at the Dunn location is just horrible. No words to explain my frustration with this outlet. We had a very bad time with this location from mid July until now Sept 18. We ordered a console and it came damaged twice. It took a very long time just to get the first one replaced and then we received the second one and it was also damaged in the same spot. When you call customer service they are rude, and quick to get you of off the phone so they can get on with the next caller. I even had one of the employees at the outlet do the best he could to not give me a box for my product. He pulled one item out and give me the item without a box claiming that I paid for the item and not for the box. What kind of business is this? The customer should always be treated best. I will never do business with Rooms To Go again. Anybody who asks me about my experience with this business will get the truth. You have some good people, but your deliver service, exchange service and customer service are just bad.
Sales person did a great job,. That was the end of our good experience. Furniture was delivered damaged and when we tried to decline delivery we were told that they had to deliver it and would leave it on our driveway. In the store we were told that if we had refused delivery we could have gotten a refund. Nice racket they have. We already paid for delivery but for them to pick up and replace damaged pieces they were going to charge another fee. Another nice racket. Stay away from this place.
Would highly recommend Lisa Hoyer here at the Dunn location. Very professional, helpful, knowledgeable and most importantly kind. I didnt buy a couch today as I was only looking but I will not hesitate to purchase from Lisa!

Lisa was our sales associate and we absolutely felt welcomed with her. We loved how she gave us sheets to use as we tried out mattresses. She took her time to get to know us and what we were really looking for/need. We walked around for a long time finding the right furniture set and even though availability was out of her hand, we were able to find something. We loved a lot of bedroom sets but majority of the availability was into 2022 and we wanted something sooner. However, she followed up with us and let us know that our set will be here sooner than expected!! But there shouldnt have been one to begin with...I bought a sofa that was delivered December 2020, earlier this summer the seams started splitting. I bought the 3 year warranty. The claim was denied and customer service sent a technician who approved all repairs but then I got a call that nothing would be covered. I wasted my money on a warranty and also a low quality sofa Im stuck with. This is a manufacturing issue and I deserve a reselection!!! I have been passed from person to person with no help. Dont ever buy a warranty from rooms to go, if you choose to shop here at all.

I had a wonderful experience purchasing two marble accent tables in the Rooms To Go Outlet! The manager James was very kind and helpful. I also had a great experience during the pickup process. It was quick and easy and the gentleman who loaded it into my car were wonderful! I would highly recommend shopping in the outlet here if you are looking for a deal. All the sales people were kind and helpful with great knowledge on the furniture I was purchasing. They also had a wonderful deal on a cooling mattress protector that I LOVE.
My mom waited 3 weeks for a couch she paid to be delivered. The day of delivery she waited at home all day and somehow the driver has said that no one was home and its not possible to deliver the couch today. After multiple calls to the driver (who didnt answer) and to the distribution center, my mom was treated very poorly and told she will have to wait and call another day to make another appointment for a time for someone to deliver the couch that she has already paid for.They didnt offer any reason why she was skipped over and didnt offer to deliver the next day. Very poor customer service and delivery service and now we are figuring out how to get a refund.
Transaction was great experience. Customer service afterwards was trash. Spoke to someone 7 different times because there was an issue with my order. Was promised help and then told it couldnt be done. Promised follow up several times. Never have been followed up with. Moral of the story, problem wasnt resolved, no one followed up, staff not transparent and slightly deceiving, and no one cared. Customer service is utterly trash.
First time in Rooms to Go in Dunn, recently. JD was our salesperson and was very nice. Very knowlegable and patient with me. With so much to choose from, making a selection was a little difficult. JDs expertise is what helped me make a decision. Ill definitely be back when its time to buy again!
Nice things, prices are high for an outlet. If you really look, you might find somethings at a reasonable, outlet price.
We went on the 3rd day of their 3 day sale and got a coffee table and ottoman for $225 in their outlet. The regular store still had an 2-3 month on items that you want to order. So definitely check out the outlet side of the store.
First time visit and we ended up walking out with more than we anticipated. The outlet was full of well priced items and deals. Our salesman Curtis went above and beyond without being pushy at all. We were possibly interested in the financing program and had to deal with a different person about that. The finance person was extremely rude, pushy, and wouldn’t even let me finish a sentence.UPDATE 8/13/2021Couch set we bought is literally coming apart in a couple months time. Fabric is peeling back at corners. Will not be doing business again with this location or any other Rooms To Go store in the future.
I liked this trip better than the last trip. Emily did a good job in educating me on the furniture and insurance. The couch sale wasnt much of a sale. I paid more than I planned to. If it hadnt been for Emilys friendliness and patience, I would have walked out of there.
After walking around bickering among ourselves, we narrowed down which sofa we wanted, but needed help with the rest of our list. Erika Pasillas we extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about what pieces would work to pull our living room together. She even connected with my 15 year old, now THAT is amazing! I had some replacement furniture order due to the furniture I had was no longer available so they took my furniture back and gave me a store credit for the other stuff. When I made the order they had to separate into 2 orders. They told me the 1st order would be delivered on the 20th and the 2nd order will be delivered on the 25th. Without notifying me or anything my wife actually had to call and ask they changed the order to both be on the 25th. When I called and asked why they told me the furniture had to be picked up and delivered all on the same day all pieces at once. They said it was there fault but theres nothing they can do about it Im sorry. Since they messed up couldnt bother to call me or tell me or anything just waiting until the delivery day showed up and let me find out myself. Now my son has to sleep on the floor waiting for a bed to come in because they say theres nothing they can do about it. They have the bed abd everything they just refuse to order it or let me come get it. I will never order from Rooms to Go again. They make a mistake and cant own up to it but guarantee if I made a mistake theyd expect me to own up to immediately. Worst customer service I have ever had for an issue that was a companys fault and I had nothing to do with it.
The store looks great but the sale is not great for all items, they are having price for recliner sofa for 544 but its not having power supply and they dont know whether it will work or not, we have to take it as it is, Are they donating it? then it should be free... they are saying its final sale not return nothing... We should be careful with this sales
The sale went great however the furniture was delivered one piece was damaged waited two weeks to get another replacement then they brought out a piece that was missing today that piece was damaged there’s no telling when I will get that replacement and I’ve been told that two chairs of mine are back ordered till September. No one answer phone calls, no one return calls. I’ve talked to the manager at this location and he is no help. I will be calling corporate.

Stacy White was my sales associate at the 901 Rooms to go way location in Dunn. She may not remember me but she was definitely helpful and will be remembered. Even when I ended up not being able to get what I originally came for she offered pleasant advice and was not pushy to make a sale. She mentioned she had kids of her own and being a young adult I felt as though she actually cared about me making smart decisions, vs just trying to sell me anything. I did end up purchasing some furniture but will definitely be back, simply because I feel as though I’m in good hands with her.

If you purchase from this rooms to go then I would not reccomend paying for them to deliver & install. The men that installed my dining set did not do it correctly and now one of my chairs are broke after 1 week. They also left a ton of Styrofoam bits all over the house and garage & did not even conside Offering to clean any of it up. I have had furniture delivered & installed by many other companies and they never left a mess like this company did. When I called customer service about the broken chair. I was told that I would have to wait to see if the delivery department could send someone out or keep calling back to customer service until someone is able to assist. I have never heard of a repair process like that before.Aside from everything I mentioned above, I do really lolw the set I purchased excluding the broken cjair of course.

I have called, I have emailed several times and still no contact from customer service. Our loveseat and couch set was purchased a year ago. One recliner on the loveseat has stopped working. I am trying to rectify this issue but have not been able to get anyone to talk to me at all. Will NEVER EVER buy anything from rooms to go and I will share my story with everyone I know!
Customer service part is rude, hung up while I was speaking took over an hour to get someone on the phone maybe it was an off day but definitely not impressed

Bought a dining table & chairs.
Came in to add a crib to my order (I purchased in Raleigh) and apply a coupon. From the moment we were greeted we were treated like a problem. We called ahead about the coupon we got in the mail to verify we could apply it to the crib, and we were told it wouldn’t be a problem. When we ask them about it, the employee continuously said she “doubts it”. She told us she was going to call and ask how to apply the coupon to our order, so we decided to walk around and look for a crib we wanted. When we returned to her about half an hour later, she said she “hasn’t gotten around to it yet” because she was busy. The store was empty. We were the only people there at that point. Truly disappointed with how we were treated at this store, especially since we were treated so well at the Raleigh location. We still need a crib and other items to furnish our home with, but this RTG outlet service was a huge disappointment.

Great selection of furniture. We were actually ready to buy, but no one ever assisted us. Most sales reps walked aimlessly around twiddling their thumbs. Some were even sitting on the furniture talking amongst themselves. Spoke with a manager, but he didn’t address the issue whatsoever. Needless to say, we shopped elsewhere. A bit of advice for Rooms To Go.. place good customer service above all else.
Nov-2, 2020-Bought a dinning setDec-8, 2020-was supposed to be deliveredJan-8, 2021 finally delivered broken!!Jan-18, 2021-Tech came took a picture said some was going to call me back, 5 days later no call. Store in Dunn can’t do anything about it, Customer service number..nobody answers, callback..they never called back, Chat..transfers you back to customer service #. This is the second experience with broken furniture from there. I have learned my lesson now.My Review is to help customers with expectations and hopefully store does improvements.

On 11/8/2020 I had the WORST experience at the Dunn NC store with a salesperson named JD. My husband and I sat at a dining room table, patiently waiting for a salesperson to finish working with another family. We had been there for about 20 minutes with no acknowledgement from any of the sales people walking the floor. JD walked right past us to speak to a man sitting at the back of the store. The customer explained he had already been helped and waiting to pick up an order. JD looked directly at us and walked off. I immediately felt diminished due to the fact the customer was a caucasian male such as the salesman. I decided to make an attempt to catch up with JD to seek his help and he sought out another caucasian family that also told him they were being helped. I then approached a diverse table full of salespersons, asked for the sales manager to which I got the attention of Stacy. I explained the situation to her and expressed how it made me feel, but to my surprise she dismissed my experience by saying Thats not the experience I ve gotten with him I told her that it would not be as she is a co-worker who also happens to be caucasian, and because I have been discriminated against before and know what it looks and feels like. I made the attempt to allow Stacy to assist us but my husband was so taken back by the experience that he did not want to purchase anything from this location, so we left. I am hoping the actions of JD or any other employees does not represent the culture and values of Rooms to Go corporation because there are a mixed race of people that make up their customer demographics.

Worst delivery experience ever. Delivery was 4 hours behind time scheduled. Came to the house to deliver my bedroom set and all the bolts were missing. Delivery people called customer service and told us to pick up the bolts at the center in the morning. Went to the center and they told us they have nothing to do with the missing bolts and told us to call customer service in the morning. Seriously this is a furniture store, they should at least have some extra bolts. Waste of my time driving to this place. The only reason they get a 2 star is because the sales associate that works there was really knowledgeable and helpful. Buy at your own risk all SALES ARE FINAL even if you spend hundreds of dollar there NO REFUND.

Great experience, took Mom to get a new recliner. She found several she liked, and bought one. Just now have to wait til it is delivered the first week of June 2020. Sales lady was very nice, and well informed. She was patient with her(she is 83) and sold us a warranty that was very resonable.
