I was killing time before an appointment and passed by this store. As I was visiting I had never seen or heard of it before. At first I did not know how to classify it as it offered both clothing and home furnishings. As I rambled through the food section it finally clicked as the products were an array of imports from all over. I found Barrys Tea (the best) from Ireland and Stroopwafels from Holland (sinful) and other tasty treats. There is a respectable wine section, and a selection of housewares. So in effect it has something for everyone and was a delightful discovery. I plan to stock up on Barrys before I leave the area.
A lot of great things to buy and just browse. I always enjoy going in. I stopped in today for a few favorites. Theyre trying to follow safe COVID guidelines. There was a long check out line due to only one cash, but I imagine theyve had to cut back due to COVID. The lady was very friendly and didnt seem stressed at all about the line.
I love the different foods, wines available in store.
Had a little issue while shopping there last week. Not a huge deal, but it took almost an hour to resolve a problem. The new manager, Brandy, called me today to get my feedback and offer her apologies. It is so refreshing to know customer service is alive and well and that she was truly interested in making things right. Thank you so much Brandy! You made my day!!
Good for international foods in my case and special drinks and spices.
A large selection of merchandise. Clean and organized.
Neat place for unusual items. Mom loves it too.
Great place to find international foods and drinks. Prices are on the moderately higher side. We usually shop for candies that we cant find at other stores. Great place to shop around Christmas for different sweets that you may want to try.
Nice store, friendly staff, and cool selection of item. The foods items are mainly from Europe and they have some Asian items as well. Usually just come for the ambiance and little snacks and knick knacks, but do my real food shopping elsewhere.
I can’t speak highly enough about the customer service at this location, specifically Christine and her manager (Candace?). I placed an order online for curbside pickup. Although my online account showed the order went through, there was an error and the store did not receive it. I called the store when I hadn’t heard from them about a pickup time, and Christine answered. She looked up my order and informed me about the online error. I thanked her and called online customer service to figure out what happened. Without my asking, Christine went ahead and proactively pulled all of my items and called me back to say she had them ready for me. When I got to the store, her manager made sure my original curbside pickup order price was honored. Although the online experience left something to be desired, my experience in-store was wonderful. Thank you!
Great place and good customer service
I love to cook so I saw all the cookware and cast iron items I am about to make my list and come back to shop later thank you
Wonderful store with unique items especially food items. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
They have something for just about everyone. Cashier Christine was so nice and very helpful with signing up with the store rewards and insightful about the tea we were hoping to make with ingredients bought there.
The worst store manager on planet Earth works here. Jay Sprolls behavior towards customers is sinful. I placed a Xmas order online. Was told it would be ready in less than 24 hours. Never received notification so I reached out to the store. Jay stated my order was incomplete because 3 food items I had on my list expired in October (even though they were still selling these items in the store.) When I told him that was nasty he yelled at me over the phone I can do whatever I want! and hung up on me. Will definitely be reaching out to headquarters to report him. Who wants to shop at a store that has expired goods on their shelves?!
I love this place. I bought awesome affordable furniture today.
Friendly staff. Used the order online/pickup in store feature and my order was ready promptly. Great for kitchen and furniture items.
This was our first visit to this location. Even though it was following COVID protocol, the staff were friendly, warm, and quite helpful.
Shelves were emptyIt was Christmas 5 days out but know your audience and order stock appropriately
From Turkey to Italy and Greece to South Africa, this store offers these countries wonderful products. All of products are high quality imported goods like wine, butter, nuts and even furnitures. If you love to purchase imported goods from around the world, I definitely recommend you to visit this location.
Almost a sensory overload with so many unique, fun, interesting gifts and products! Staff was very nice and helpful as I tried to navigate the massive inventory and locate an item that I saw online earlier that day. I was in a rush to find a unique gift and forced myself to leave...as it wouldve been easy to spend hours just browsing!
Lovely place to shop for items from different countries. Friendly staff.
This store goes around the world. From soaps and lotions to unique things for your kitchen to wine, spices and more. If you get lucky they might have just brewed a pot of coffee which will inspire you to check out the coffee and tea section. Take your time there is plenty to see.
I love to browse this store when Im in the area. They have a lot of different merchandise. I go in there when Im looking for a unique gift or greeting card. They have items you wouldnt find on your regular market shelf. They have a large selection of wine, food, clothing, jewelry, small furniture, area rugs, gift bags / boxes, candy, tableware, baskets and a few toys. Wheelchair accessible, handicapped parking. The store is not visible from Ashford-Dunwoody Rd. Look for Dunwoody Village Shopping Center sign.
A lovely place to browse for items from different parts of the world. We bought caviar with creme cheese and it turned out so good! From food delicacies to wine to candles to throws to furniture or furnishings to kitchen knickknacks they have something for everyone! Good to buy items for your home or gift giving.. worth a visit!
Cool store with unique items. Very poor customer service though. The Buckhead employees are much more helpful.
I love this store, always lots of new things to see! I have bought so many things from this store, several prints, a beautiful bookcase TV stand, linen kitchen towels, cute scatter rugs, bathroom towels and rugs, bed sheets, candles and accent pillows, khorma curry, yummy All Sorts licorice mixes, gingersnaps...the list goes on!
I always enjoyed going to the World Market. They are pretty decent selection of unusual beers and wine. Lots of fun candy and a very polite staff. I went there for some furniture, which I do not normally do. But I was going for a sort of a Bohemian thing and they have all that stuff. Highly recommended!
BEWARE: Please check your expiration dates before purchasing food! When we went, we bought several foods and snacks, only to get them home and realize that they were between 2 and 6 months EXPIRED! Most things expired in 2018! (Mind you, this is late Feb 2019 at this point). When I went to return them, they basically said it was my fault that I didnt check the label and that often things on sale are close to expiration.....I must say, 6 months in not CLOSE to expiration, its waaaaay past expiration! And I shouldnt have to go through everything and check to see if its gone bad. Thats their duty. Thats not okay. What if I ate it and got sick! They gave me my money back, but it shouldnt have been such an ordeal. They know they themselves would not eat expired food. And the fact that it was so old is straight negligible. I wont be buying anything else from here. Thats a fact.
An alternative for my typical Dekalb Farmers Market visit.
Nice selection of uncommon items
Good place for reasonably priced imported goods. Better than Pier One. I particularly like their selection of kitchen items and unique greeting cards. Package food and wine, home goods, and furniture.
Fun stuff new merchandise filling the shelves.
Fantastic array of different kinds of products but they are missing one major staple, that would have me in there more often, and thats CADBURY chocolates (not biscuits).
I wanted to purchase a campfire night light. I came in with a picture of it and the SKU number. A store rep stated there with 7 in the store; however, he could not seem to locate it. 3 staff members looked for it, and they could not find it. One of them even told me that it just hadnt arrived yet. I work in retail and know that if you have a SKU and BIN location assigned to the product, it can be found. With that in mind, I placed a call another Cost Plus Market and asked them where they had theirs located. The representative at the other store told me it was located in the toy section. I went over to the toy section and it was there. This is unacceptable on every level. A customer should not have to tell an employee where to find products in their own store.
Very nice staff. Honestly my 2 fav people I have met are Ashley and joe, just great personalities and fun place to also waste 2 hours at in my opinion
A nice place to procure odds & ends. Staff was courteous and helpful, but many products were out of stock.
Love this place! They have a Mango Moscato that is delicious and o dont even like the taste of alcohol!! Snacks from around the world! Love this place!
Great selection! Great prices. My wife loves this store
They have the most unique and eclectic items and gifts! Its like a treasure hunt when I shop in their store. I always find many different gifts for large array of people! They also carry my favorite childhood candy - maple sugar candy, year round! I just love this store!
Prices are way to high, but I have to go here during the holidays to get my gingersnaps and torani syrups. The wine club is worth it though, the points rack up quickly. Prices just too damn high and they have so many cute, unique, hard to find items.
A very unique place to find cool gifts. It makes you feel like your in another country. And the prices are reasonable
Has to easily be one of the worst World Markets out there. A lack of customer service has always been an issue with them. First bad experience was a few years back when the store failed to order a prepaid item for us and when we followed up several weeks later, we were told it was never ordered. Second bad experience happened today. We when in to buy two chairs. We approached one cashier and he was busy with a customer and had a sign up stating his register was closed. Two other employees were there doing misc stocking work at the registers. I approached one of the other employees and asked if there was an open register. Without saying a word, she went to the one gentleman, looked to see if his lane was opened and whispered something to him. He apologised and kindly said he would help us after he finished with the one customer. The other two continued ignoring everything else. It was clear the other customer was having some type of complications, no one offered to help us and after several minutes we left without purchasing anything.
I called to see if they had an item. Told the girl on the phone what the item was. I didnt have the sku number and she told me thats the only way she could look it up. So I had to hang up, get it off the Internet and then call back.I called back and then was put on hold for 20 minutes. This entire time I was headed their direction. Get to the store....hang up my phone and walk in to the store. Employees are just standing around. I went to the furniture section and waited another 5 minutes. Until I had to go find someone to look the item up. They were able to use a device and see the stock in 30 seconds!Find out in person they dont have the item. What a waste of a trip.Horrible customer service.I ended up purchasing some other things, since I was there. I asked to speak to a manager to vent my frustration and talked to an assistant manager that told me there were no managers on duty. Funny thing is a lady behind me had a name tag on that said general manager or something like that!!Only after I complained about how bad their customer service was did she offer me a small discount. The kicker is, I was near the world market in Buford that HAS the item I want in stock! I had just left that part of town. If I wasnt on hold for 20 minutes I could have called the other store and gotten my item.
Truly amazing wine selection. I adore this store.
This WM has the nicest and most helpful employees. Love the selection of accessories, beer and wine and food. Also if you become a member, you get amazing coupons all the time. Definitely worth it and it takess just a minute to sign up and its free!
Interesting place, varied selection of drink items and gifts, friendly staff
Terrance is the worst employee! Bought a table and he completely ignore me. Finally got a wonderful lady to help me and then Terrance was asked to help me load my table and he took his sweet time. My BF did it on his own. Terrance youre terrible at your job!
Always wonderful service, helpful and polite staff, great selection!
The prices are a bit much but the stuff you can get us beautiful.
This World Market is absolutely amazing. Run by the efficient Ms. Angela, and her highly professional staff (Mr. Antonio, Mr. Micah to name a couple of senior team members) - every purchase/shopping experience results in satisfaction. thank you team WM!
If you like world market this is a pretty large store. I go here once in awhile to browse for interesting knickknacks.
I enjoy World Market. Its an interesting place to shop.
My one star rating is for the horrible customer service experience I had at this location. I went shopping with my 2 years old son, he dropped his m&m and the employee seemed so angry when she saw that. She brought l the broom and the dust pan and started slamming them . It was so rude. I also needed assistance to find some items, no one was ready to help. They all hang out at the register waiting for customers to come to them.I dont wanna mention the rude employees name but seriously if you cannot be pleasant while helping customers, please do not apply for customer service positions.
Very nice helpful people. Love all the verity of things they have. Awesome selection of beer too!
Do not buy online. they have NO customer service (like none). I received a damaged dining table, and not sure if I will ever get anyone to help me with my return/exchange.
Love this place its expensive but worth going if looking for specific products from other countries
OMG I love this place they have so many cool items in this store I got some boogers and some zombie hands for my grandkids awesome place
Keep credit card at home. Great store and so many nice things. Great staff.
I could spend an entire day in here looking at each & every item! I love this place.
Great store
Love this store! So many unusual things!!
Had exactly what I wanted, great deal on wines and great checkout experience
Friendly staff at Dunwoody store
Lots of neat things to buy. Very clean store.
Great place. Unusual merchandise at good prices.
Place to go if you desperately need some Niederegger Marzipan :)
Nice selections. Helpful staff.
Good selections
Friendly and courteous, good prices
The selection is great but the service could have been more attentive. Was a hassle to arrange pickup and delivery.
Great selections and awesome customer service!
I felt that the wine prices for sale items were deceptive. The price was posted very large for four bottles and much smaller for a single bottle.
Items from all over the world, really unique stuff. Only downside is price.
People where wearing masks.
Favorite place to go to just buy random stuff
Good selection of unique pieces and good wine
Awesome selection of speciality goods!
Seems like the selection of products overall at this location are a lot less than other locations Ive been to. The employees have never once greeted or offered assistance any times I have been here. Checkout is mostly friendly at least!
Awesome selection and staff of this great store.
Good products at ok prices.
Its world market, I get my coffee here
Sometimes seems a bit understaffed, but has a variety hard to find products, interesting selection of wines and beers.
I hate this pace. It’s a black hole of all of my money. I’ve literally never left without spending money here. #frienemy
Only place in the city to find those international hard to find foods.

Lots of good stuff
Cool shopping
I never really wind up buying anything...
