The staff here at this pawnshop is extremely friendly and willing to assist. They do Western Union they cash checks they fixed jewelry you name it they probably do it stop in and check them out

Esther looked me dead in my face when i walked in and stood around for 5 minutes not doing anything before she asked me if i needed help. She ain’t even greet me and she was the only person who wasn’t helping anyone at the time. I was gonna walk out and go to the other one by Durham chapel hill blvd Because i know for a fact they’re nicer. Thought I’d try this one Bc it was closest where i was. NEVER AGAAAAAIN

Ted was great helping me find a ring and getting it sized for me correctly. He explained everything in detail so there would be no concerns or questions. And the work will be done in one day. I’m looking forward to picking up the ring tomorrow and enjoying it!

Great experience. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Worked with Ted for over 45 minutes, he was very knowledgeable and professional in our transaction. Spent less than ten minutes in there between two visits. First visit I was handled with respect and patience by a team member. After getting a dinky SS necklace appraised, I asked this gentleman if they had a diamond tester because I was curious about a gifted micropave SS ring I had, and I was told bring it by. Again, this was for curiosity sake; not to sell. I come back 5 minutes later with said ring and the first gentleman I spoke with was busy.So after taking a look around for a few moments, I had the pleasure of listening to a flustered [presumably] owner, childishly berate one of his staff members for a simple blunder, repeating himself over and over.A different associate came by to help me out after that escapade, who I then asked to test the ring, also explaining that I didnt want to sell it. This guy brings it over to the huffy puffy, rude owner, who picks my ring up and immediately says its probably not real, and not worth much, speculating while the individual he was berating moments before, stood behind the counter with a diamond tester in his hand. After a closer look through a monocle the huffy puffy and extra fluffy guy continues to speculate, finally saying theyre real by glancing at them, and then tells me to pay $10 just to have them press their tester against a few stones.GET REAL. I feel bad for the guys working there. I hope this Chubby loud mouth guy is just having a particularly bad day and ordinarily treats his staff/clients with more compassion and respect, because if this is the norm, how the heck is this place still in business?Im just glad I quietly left instead of saying what was coming to mind. Its very telling about people, how they treat others when they stand to gain nothing. This Chubby owner or whatever acts like a clown.Cant say Ill ever do business with a Picasso pawn shop, especially considering these other reviews.

I went to Picasso pawn shop in Durham store 9. I had several items that I was looking to sell. Esther and Angel was of great assistance. They where very respectful and polite. Top notch customer service. I would recommend this store and these two wonderful ladies to anyone. I will definitely be returning to patronize Picasso pawn.

I went in because I saw their post about the ps5 console they had. The man I asked about the price first wouldnt even tell me the price and instead just gave me layaway options. He then proceeded to talk down to me about how their is a chip shortage and they arent making anymore until 2022 which is a lie. There is a chip shortage but they are still making the consoles. They are charging 1,075 for a USED ps5. You can buy a new one off of someone on Facebook for 800 😐

Picasso pawn in Durham on Highway 55 has the best prices and coolest staff around. Due to COVID-19/being out of work for some time, and a newborn, money has been tight this year. The staff is extremely friendly and take care of their customers.
