I’ve been a sweetwater fan for years. I get excellent service and prices from them but i was intrigued by the brands that Soundpure carried that no other local shop had like Suhr guitars and Carr Amps. I went in to buy a Carr impala amp the first time but ended up falling in love with a used Suhr modern. Two gigs later the volume pot starting failing in it. Called but all I got was we inspected the guitar and it was fine before we sold it. So I’m on the hook to get that fixed. . Strike one. During that initial encounter, I was told how in demand and back logged Carr had been making the amps during the pandemic so I returned a couple weeks later to buy the impala. The amp sounds fantastic, however taking the amp home that day, the reverb tank jingled excessively the entire trip home like something was loose and should not be happening on a new amp. That bothered me for days so Inspected the inside of the cabinet. To my surprise the reverb tank was covered in a thick layer of dust. The build sheet inside the amp in 9/2014. I thought I was buying a fairly new amp but instead I got a 7 year old amp and paid 2021 prices for it. I was told that the amp somehow got overlooked with newer inventory placed on top of it and the previous manager was let go. This amp had obviously been unboxed, played on the floor for who knows how long . Strike two. I won’t be buying anything from Soundpure again. I could have bought a used impala from reverb for much less.

I wanted to amend a previous negative review of Soundpure that I had left. I have tried numerous times to remove the review but unable to do so. Since then, Soundpure has contacted me several times to address the issues I had written about and have gone above and beyond to make things right. I am totally impressed with how they have dealt with this and would like everyone to know that this is truly a business that cares about the customer experience. Thank you addressing my issues. I was contemplating a return to Martin for a guitar after five years without one. The restriction I had was price. As with many things, my tastes can exceed my budget. I came across a used HD-28 offered by Sound Pure at the perfect price for me. The last Martin I owned was a used D-41 that I was comparing side by side to an HD-28. I was perfectly happy with the 41 for ten years but always had a thought in the back of my mind about that 28. Purchased a 2020 (Dec. from the date of manufacture) Gibson SG 61 reissue vintage Cherry. It stated used bought upon opening the case it couldnt be more wrong. Nothing inside was touched from the factory! Case candy all intact nothing was opened! It looked like the previous owner just took the Gibson sticker off the pickguard and put it back n the case! Couldnt be more pleased if i ordered it from the factory myself ! 5 Stars to you folks!

Very good customer service. I bought a Audient iD44. I couldnt get the headphones to monitor my input. My salesman was Ted who didnt have a lot of experience with my set up, but he didnt miss a beat and hooked me up with Chip who was very knowledgeable and spent considerable time with me. Still couldnt get it going and I mailed it back and they checked out the unit. It appears that the driver download was recently changed and it didnt download properly on my computer. After deleting it and reinstalling it, then the unit worked OK. Then Chip spent more time with me getting me set up in Cubase LE. No extra cost for the additional help I required

The Martin D-41 I purchased from Zak arrived in mint condition as described with the LR Baggs Anthem pickup installed. The tone, resonance and playability of this guitar is off the charts. The Anthem pickup is the closest thing to a micd acoustic that Ive ever heard. I would highly recommend Sound Pure.
