This is the third time I have bought a mattress from Donald at Mattress Firm East Hanover. Donald listens to what I want and gives me expert advice. I always feel he has my best interest at heart. I am thoroughly happy with all my purchases. The delivery team also did an excellent job. The communication and timeliness was spot on. Everything went seamlessly. Can’t wait to get a good nights sleep 💤

Wow, our experience at this Mattress Firm was amazing. Usually, buying a mattress can be a little distressing because of the bad rep that mattress sales people/stores have. BUT Donald, the store manager at this location, was phenomenal. We felt welcomed in the store as soon as we stepped in. The staff in there made sure that we were greeted and being taken care of (some stores will literally have people ignore you, not the case here.)Anyways, we were in the midst of looking for a new mattress during our transition to the West Coast. We were looking for a bed that we could try and test, then order at this location to be shipped where we were going. We stumbled upon the Purple Hybrid Mattress (THE ABSOLUTE BEST MATTRESS MONEY CAN BUY) and we just knew that we had to buy it. We told Donald our situation and he diligently searched the mattress firm locations in the area we were moving to. Unfortunately, none of the stores carried it. So he did a little more searching and found a KING size mattress for less than the price of a Queen. I must admit, we were skeptical at first because clearance mattress are returns. I asked Donald more about it, and he was very knowledgable about the process and put my mind to ease by giving me an EVEN BETTER DEAL than the already sale price.Fast forward 3 months later, weve had no issues with the mattress, it sleeps great, and it was an absolute bargain. 10/10 recommend this Mattress Firm location.

We had a salesman named Nick take care of us. We were at the store on Rt 10 in East Hanover. Nick was amazing. He showed us several different mattresses and explained each in detail. He was never pushy, he let us take our time to decide what we wanted. I found the experience to be very pleasant. We found a fabulous mattress and accessories. We got our quote. We were pleased at how easy it was and how much they worked with us. We were able to get a 0% finance program for 24 months which was an excellent deal. This review is related to the Sales experience:I was greeted buy a friendly salesperson at the door. Everyone was wearing masks and maintained the appropriate 6-ft distance. I had a specific need for a mattress that was a particular height. I shared what I wanted with the salesperson and he was able to direct me to some options without trying to hard sell me other products. The salesperson was very knowledgeable in the products and was able to help gear me in the direction of what I needed from an alignment and a comfort perspective.I was in and out of the store in about 30 minutes with what I hope to be the perfect purchase. Well see what the in-home experience is.

Ordered a mattress from here for pickup in a different location. They called the other location to confirm they had one set aside and ready to be picked up. Went to pick up from the other location and they said they didn’t have one in stock and it would be a minimum 2 weeks before they got one in. Very disappointed in the lack of communication between stores and the inability to handle basic orders.

I came to mattress firm in East Hanover NJ to look for a brand new bed the service that I received from Donald was top of the line extremely professional very concerned about what my needs were spend as much time as it possibly took to help me into the bed that would best suit my physical needs not to mention be the most comfortable on my back after having back surgery a few years back. I would highly recommend that anyone looking for a brand new bed go and see Donald or Allen. It should also be noted that during my time there never once did I feel pressured or backed into a corner or misled. Donald took all the Time in the world to explain to me every detail of every mattress that I looked at. He answered all of my questions intelligently thoroughly and gave me the confidence that I was buying the best possible solution for the best sleep of my Life. The salesman was, IMHO, very unprofessional and reminded me of old tales about how used car salesmen operatedI walked into the store expecting to purchase mattresses and bed foundations which were advertised as Black Friday specials. The salesman proceeded to tell my partner and me that what we were looking at was garbage. For instance, the Black Friday adjustable frame (which was free with purchase of a Queen bed) was made from cardboard and would fall apart as soon as it was used. I should point out that the specs said this frame supported 700 pounds of weight. When I noted that I did not want to purchase the items he suggested, he promptly reduced the price and pointed out how much money I was saving. What he neglected to do was to give me the deeply discounted Black Friday prices on the items I wanted.After placing an order, I went home and contacted an online agent who gave me the corrected prices. However, the online agent refused to place the order because I had already ordered locally (it doesnt make sense to me that I would not be allowed to place two orders in one day). When I contacted the local salesman, he reduced the price, but not before trying to get me to change my mind by telling me that the items sold online were poorly constructed. Eventually, he also agreed to remove the platinum delivery (albeit at a discounted price) which I did not want.I was so frustrated to have to fight over every item I wanted, that I didnt insist on getting my $40 in-store coupon (or the $50 online coupon). I spent over one hour online, but the result was a reduction of my bill by more than $1400. I will never return to this store again, and I wonder if this salesman represents the attitude of all the sales staff at Mattress Firm.

My experience buying my mattress was by far the best. My needs were specific for my elderly mom and Alan helped me from the second I walked in the door. Took a major stress of mine to a simple solution. Thank you Alan!!!

If I could give this store zero stars, I would. I have received absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. I put a deposit down on a mattress in January for delivery in March. I called three times prior to the delivery date to ensure it would be delivered on time and was told each time it would be delivered on the date. The night before the mattress was supposed to be delivered, I called to check in on the delivery window and was then informed that because I had an outstanding balance my mattress was not processed for delivery. I then paid the rest of the balance while the representative was on the phone and was told the mattress was scheduled to be delivered two days later. Again, called the store the night before delivery was scheduled to THEN be told the mattress was out of stock and would not be available for THREE WEEKS. Not ONCE did I receive a proactive communication from the store about any of this. HORRENDOUS SERVICE. PROCEED WITH CAUTION. If you have to deal with David or Nick at the store (who apparently were covering from other stores, so somethings sketchy about that...), ask for someone elses help. But, honestly, wouldnt trust any of them.

Donald was great to work with and treated us with the utmost respect. He understood our wants and needs and found us exactly what we were looking for.

I had one of the worst experiences of my life dealing with the sales rep at my local store. I followed up on an email the company sent about my purchase and made a complaint explaining I did NOT want to speak with rep only to have him call me within 30 minutes acting like we were pals.I have spent an obscene amount of money (thousands and thousands of $) and I am far from satisfied. As a former Sales Director I would never have allowed this employee to reach out without being on any of the calls or allow further interactions with an unhappy client without being present.This is the third response I have made to emails asking me to rate my experience explaining I did not want to have to speak with this man again only to have him respond to each complaint.According Mattress Firm policies, if any of the products I have purchased go on sale for a lower price than I paid within 120 days, I am entitled to the lesser amount. This has not happened although within 30 days of my purchase, two sales have occurred which should entitle my to some sort of reimbursement.Here’s hoping I will be contacted by anyone other than this man. I would hope that there is some type of management in place to oversee complaints.

Had a great experience at Mattress Firm, I went in knowing which mattress I wanted to try out after browsing online and met Donald, who was made the process very easy! Very knowledgeable and answered all my questions, he offered other mattress options to try out but wasn’t too pushy. He made the process quick and even offered his cell phone number if there were problems setting up a delivery time. I also had a coupon code that was valid for an online purchase that he applied to my in store purchase. In home delivery was a breeze and promptly on time! Wonderful experience from start to finish.

Donald did a great job explaining the differences between the different mattress brands and materials used to build quality mattresses . Originally we had purchased a mattress from Sealy that was too firm but where able to exchange it under the 120 day trial period. We then where able to upgrade to a James & Owen mattress at a deep discount due to a clearance sale. Delivery was prompt and seamless, the online tracker worked great as well !
