Cynthia Pong (OD) was an amazing optometrist who went above and beyond for what I have experienced in the past with optometrists. She explained everything she was doing fully and also gave a lot of ancillary advice and recommendations that ultimately made a lot of sense. For example, she explained the benefits of having at-home or mid-distance glasses to reduce eye strain given most of the things I do at home dont require such a high prescription and showed me with the lens reduction the benefit. She was clearly knowledgeable and had a lot of information to give.

Been coming here for years and they get more friendly every time I come. Sharon and Ann were fantastic with helping me get my contacts and the other woman and gentleman I dealt with were just as accommodating.

Ann & Madeline do a fantastic job finding the right styles and fit. We come back to this location every year for the comfortable, clean and fun atmosphere. We’re hooked!

Madeleine was informative, clear, not high-pressure but presented good options which I definitely decided on — she picked out perfect frames first time, and got me great value. Highest rating!

The eye exam was quick, painless, and thorough. Staff was very nice throughout the process. The frame selecting and purchasing process was also pleasant; the staff member who assisted me was understanding of what I’m looking for and quite helpful.

I have a hard time making decisions and Ann was so patient with me. I probably tried on 25 different frames. She was kind and not only gave me her opinion but called the other two ladies for their opinion. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and professional. I haven’t picked up my glass yet, but if everything goes well I’d give 5 stars.

The frames that I purchased 3 months ago broke today. I brought them in and LensCrafters handled it beautifully. They did an exchange and even found me a pair of frames that fit better than the original. William, the optician, took a lot of time to find frames that fit me well. Anne, the manager, recognized me and was great!

Always helpful. I have quite the prescription, so I can’t take advantage of the on-premises glasses making, but they are always very helpful in making the most of available benefits. Ann, in particular, takes her time and always finds ways to make things work!

Route 10 East Hanover. Anna was incredibly patient and very helpful with the decision making process of buying new glasses and offering up the various deals available, options for tinting etc. She spent an extraordinary amount of time, helping me decide, which frames suited my face, price, style, lens options, taking in account my requests. Left a very happy customer. Would recommend a visit here if you need new glasses. They have a good selection.

Service was top quality. I never write reviews but, I had to in this instance because the kindness these people showed me just can’t go unnoticed. Especially for me, picking out my first pair of glasses was something I anticipated to be really frustrating. I had so many questions because I just don’t know a thing about eyewear. But a woman named Ann assisted me and was really patient and now I have a new set of frames and a whole lot of satisfaction.

Terrible experience with the staff performing the test and the doctor as well. Completely unprofessional and made me feel insecure and upset when completing the tests. The only good qualities about this location was the nice woman who helped with the insurance as well as the gentleman who gave options with the frames. If you need to get glasses then I recommend this place. If you are going for an eye exam, I highly suggest staying away.

The staff at the location on Rt 10 is very friendly and helpful. I was able to take as much time as I needed to try on different glasses. They were all sanitized before put back on the shelf.Once I decided on frames I was given different discount options to get the best deal. This location will be my go to from now on!!

She clearly had a very solid grasp of not only the best options but knew how to remain flexible to make things work for my needs. She’s a great listener. She had a great knowledge of your product and really made me want to come back again. I initially came to LensCrafters because my normal shop couldn’t book an exam soon enough. Dr. Dennis Doderer seemed very condescending. I came in for contacts specifically since my insurance covered only one or the other not both. But he kept mentioning that “contacts aren’t a substitute for glasses.” He was told that I am currently working from home so I only wear glasses indoors and at night time with the lights it’s a little bothersome so contacts are a little easier when I’m outdoors driving. I did tell him I keep up with getting updated contacts but my last eye exam was in 2019. I had brought my contacts box with me to ensure the appointment went smoothly. He was told I like to wear a lower power at home since I don’t need a strong one if I’m staring at a screen . Today he had a “I told you so” attitude and had the need to prove me wrong, I do understand as a health professional myself that I need to keep up with appt I have only missed last year due to the pandemic and plus I had my glasses renewed in 2019 which was good for 2 years. I did bring my rx sunglasses that I rarely wear just in case a dilation test was needed. I will not be coming back to this specific location. I only came due to insurance reasons and the fact that I moved recently I’ll be going to a different facility under the same franchise. In order for my return to happen to this facility I would have to get a appt under a different provider. It was my mistake not looking up his specific reviews

They are truly incompetent. For the past two years they have incorrectly measured my lenses to the point that they cause headaches, nausea, and dizziness. There is no reason that should happen for a simple single vision prescription. The opticians told me I was exaggerating when I told them how badly the glasses were affecting me. I then went to a different LensCrafters in Massachusetts and they said the focus was so badly measured it was a miracle I could even see through the pair this East Hanover store had given me. One time could be explained away, but twice means that they are arrogant and incompetent. Don’t go here. Go to your local optician or Warby Parker.

I went to the East Hanover location. I was afraid at first as the surrounding area makes it seem a bit trashy and out of date, however I could not be more pleased with the professionalism and ease of both Dr. Grossman who performed my eye exam and Joe who was patient and helpful with picking out my new glasses! Quick and painless. Do not let the outside fool you! Everyone was efficient and nice.

One of the worst customer experience store. They send you wrong messages that your product is ready and when you go there it’s not. I was called to the store to pick up my glasses thrice and my glasses were never ready. They said that they would ship it and it’s been 4 business days and I haven’t received it until now. When I am calling them they don’t want to talk and pretend that they are very busy.Pathetic service!!! Prevent yourself going to this store

Been here more than enough times to know that they don’t care about the people they’re helping. The first time I saw an eye doctor here was over a year ago and it was a great experience. Every other time was a complete waste of time and really at the end of the day it has to do with me giving them money and not them helping me feel like I should be able to SEE... like everyone else. I’m never going back. They wouldn’t even give me sample lenses along with an order so I can attend a wedding. Horrible.

I was in a bind because my glasses got damaged, and received great help. My original glasses I got adjusted to fit correctly after they were bent pretty badly, and I was able to get a rush pair of glasses for quite cheap (w/o insurance used) within an hour. The service was amazing, and their help was really appreciated. Good selection of glasses as well.

Questionable service. Last time I buy eyewear at LensCrafters.The corporate website is disconnected from its franchisees; the return process is long and arduous.Went for an exam and submitted a order for contacts. That night I submitted a cancellation request with my order # online (as they were closed at this point). Two weeks without communication from the store went by. After calling the main customer service twice, a live chat, and calling the store itself twice; I was told I have to come into the store to return it. The manager had no idea when my credit card or insurance claim would be refunded.

Very awkward 1st time attempt to purchase in this store! Needless to say I will not be there again. Just purchased just a little further from there at Pearle Vision- more/ever receptive.!!

I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment. The optometrist wasnt even in the building, despite the appointment. When he arrived 20 minutes later, another customer had been waiting longer and went first. A full 45 minutes after the scheduled appointment, the optometrist sees me, talks so rapidly he was hard to comprehend, suggests over the counter medicine for my eye, and gives me a coupon. All this in less than 10 minutes. If you dont value your eyes or your sight, this is the place for you.

Actual Eye Dr was good. Service and adjustments to glasses are sub-par. Took three times for the Gentleman to adjust when attempting to have my glasses balanced and they still came out worse. Will look elsewhere for next year and service

Disappointing Customer Service. They act like my service doesn’t matter. Not cool.

They sent my medical records to “another local doctor” when their doctor transferred out. I was never contacted about this transfer, so thinking this is illegal? They told me I now have to call that local doctor to get my records sent back to their location if I want to continue going to their doctor (will NOT be doing that).Sunday hours online say open until 6. I walked in at 5 and they told me they were closing. Easy fix for them, so they should figure that out. Frustrating all around.

Awful customer service. The representatives here dont even smile or try to make the sale. They sell a product that pretty much sells itself but the very LEAST they could do is try to make the transaction go more smoothly. Not only that but they are also disrespectful and have zero regard for the overall customer experience. One time I came in about 45 minutes prior to closing, and the sales rep informed me that they were currently putting away the display frames. She offered to help, but the help she offered felt more like a feeble attempt to rush me out of the store. Keep in mind we were asking very simple questions. I could feel her unwillingness to help us with our request and decided to leave since she was not being very helpful.I have also had negative interaction over the phone with them. Every time I call them to try and resolve an issue I may be having they tell me they will call me back. Then when they call me back the conversation never really gets anywhere and ultimately they tell me Ill need to come in to resolve my issue.Taking all of this into consideration I would like to make a point that there is one Sales Rep who works here that is awesome! I dont remember his name, but he is overall pleasant to deal with, and quite honestly the only reason I go to this lens crafters. Maybe Joseph? He seriously provides some amazing customer service. He wears glasses and is a younger guy.Other than that if you see anyone else be prepared to have a negative customer experience. Best of luck.

I shouldve never went here. Was a complete waste of time. Every test either didnt work or was inconclusive... seemed to be no one working and i waited around an hr because the dr was running around doing everything.

Website shows 6:00pm closing. Arrived at 5:02 and the doors were locked. Sales associate came to door to say she recognized us from earlier today and said sorry, we are closed. Our computers were just shut down. We told them their hours posted say 6:00 and they said sorry.Heading to Pearl Vision to buy the same pair of glasses we had seen at both locations. LensCrafters loss.

Lens Crafters didnt disappoint me again! This location is very pleasant to shop at, both me and my hubby made our glasses here and we got really good service. The staffs are very attentive and listen to your needs before suggesting you the best options for your need. On this Sunday afternoon I ran into this fabulous lady name Anne she was very helpful, quick and really pleasant personality. She helped me fixing my glasses and came out with a brand new frame.
