The service guys were great. Friendly and very informative. The mechanics like to break things and not own up to it but thats business i guess. If you come here, just make sure to check and maybe even record a before video of everything and then an after because they wont take responsibility for it. Unfortunately not the first time but definitely the last time Ill bring my car there.
Employees are nice and service is usually a quick in and out. Chuck in Service is amazing!! Would recommend this dealership!My only complaint is with my last maintenance visit. At drop off, I told Service I one of the nuts was missing on the reverse light casing and asked if they could replace it while it was in for service. The gentleman (John?) told me to go to Parts and they could sell me the nut. After talking to the attendant at Parts, he was very surprised Service told me to come purchase 1 nut and said hed take care of it no charge. Not that big of a deal, but it seems tacky to have a customer purchase their own parts when in for service. I mean I dont bring my own groceries to a restaurant 🤣Otherwise my previous maintenance and prior repair visit were great, friendly and fast.Note: This review is for parts and service only, I have yet to deal with sales.
Sales man Ryan was very informative and efficient. Got down exactly what I wanted and delivered. No time wasted. Sales Manager Steve made the sign and closing process easy and to the point. I drove off satisfied with an amazing bumper to bumper warranty, no deductible for 100k miles and in a Kia! Would definitely return.
Had my car towed in because it just died. Charged me a diagnostic fee and told me the problem was my after market started, and wanted to charge me another $400 to remove it, even if that didnt solve the problem. Had it towed to another shop where they found the engine had seized. When I requested my diagnostic fee refunded, they offered me a store credit for service dept and even said they couldnt guarantee the seize didnt happen between when they had it and when it got to the other dealer. Not sure why they think Id ever bring my vehicle to them again after they misdiagnosed a known issue with Kia engines in my year and model. Stay away
So after a not great buying experience I returned for first oil change and tire rotation which was $96 after coupon. Then 5 days later my oil light came while driving on highway with my 3 kids in the car, emergency stop to find oil pouring out of car. Hour wait for AAA (Kia roadside assistance said would be 1.5 to 2 hours) to arrive to then tow car 60 miles to dealership where I am told that it was a faulty oil filter o ring. There is still oils covering the sides and back of car from it spraying out oil at 65mph. I am assured there will be no lasting damage but overall think I am all set with this dealership.

3 months ago I decided not to go back to the Kia dealership in East Hartford after they was unable to find my keys after an oil change. 2 days ago I had no choice but to make an appointment due to a rcent Recall. In addition to this they offered other work and I declined and said I will take it somewhere else. 2 days later I called them because my car is making a dragging sound. They advised it would be $135 to look at it. They are so terrible and the customer service is absolutely ridiculous! I would give 0 stars if that was an option.
This our second time at Kia of East Hartford and we really enjoy it. Our sales associate Ryan is great and we would recommend him highly. The only downside was that on the day we were supposed to pick up the car we were told that a sensor needed to be replaced and had not arrived yet. While I am glad that they are making sure that the car is safe I am frustrated that we signed paperwork and have no car yet.

Took my car to Kia of East Hartford for service and they made easy. I just pulled in, told them who I was and what I was in for. Shortly after I was on my way. The wait did not take long at all. I will continue getting my car serviced at this dealer going forward.
These guys think customers have nothing to do. They wasted my time about a car and after I get there, they say a different story.A certain color was available and then suddenly its not there.Keen on everyone leaving a deposit even without a test drive or physically seeing a car. He just showed me some pictures and said thats exactly how it looks like.Sales Guy Tom and His Manager are champions at this.Took all of my info from the driver license and then says the opposite of what was told on the phone. Not sure if they do it on purpose to sell peoples info or for internal marketing . If I get a text or mail from them with marketing material, I wont be happy and will take necessary action.Someones gotta tell these people that customers time is precious and dont just blabber whatever to get them through the door. Be honest with what you have and what you can offer for trades. Is that hard ?Even otherwise, the rest of them are not receptive to calls or enquiries and talk with a certain degree of arrogance and come across rude.Never gonna buy anything there.
This is my second time buying a vehicle from them and they have been exceptional until this week! When I went from a purchase to a lease this time they sold me all this great service………..blah,blah,blah!!!! I went for my oil change that they up charged me at the front that was “free” because I was paying up front, well guess what?? I was charged for that oil change, but I spoke to several people an that was going to be fixed. I drove the next day with my family a 50 mile drive and we noticed a lug nut from the rim on the floor when we parked! I placed it back on the rim and I noticed that each rim had 4 lug nuts loose! I’m infuriated! I call Kia and no one in service answers, I call back again and select sales Dept and the wonderful young man that answered informed me that this was not his department so therefore it’s not a sales department problem, and he transferred me to the service Dept that once again did not respond! So I guess I had to call a third time to get in touch with a manager and I had to tighten every lug nut myself and thank God I was in no accident! To think I was going to purchase a third vehicle in December 😂😂😂😂 no more business from me Kia of East Hartford

The people who work here are very nice. But they literally just want your money, its such a scam here. Went in for a quote because my car was making a loud noise, they quoted me OVER $4,000!!!! I went to a local shop with amazing reviews, they got me in and out in a few hours and literally only charged me $200. Every time I go in there, they quote me over $1,000 for something. I will never be going back there! Please go somewhere else, dont let them scam you out of thousands of dollars.

Biggest waste of time ever. I made an appointment on their website to test drive a car. When I arrived, the sales associate told me they dont do test drives because they dont want to put miles on the cars. He immediately wanted to run numbers and I just wanted to see the car to see if I even liked it. He wouldnt even take me to the lot to look at the car. He wanted me to commit to purchasing a car today, without even looking at the car let alone test driving it. Plus the numbers that he ran werent even close to what the calculator on their website gave me. If they dont do test drives they shouldnt have a button on their website to schedule a test drive. Huge waste of Saturday morning, I will take my business elsewhere.

Soooo disappointed.Kia of East Hartford just lost a customer.Third time shopping for a car there, second time making a purchase. Decided to buy a used car from them, unfortunately I dont have a lot of free time to shop around right now. Just picked up the car and my first stop is the gas station to put in 16.34 gallons of gas because they gave it to me on Empty. This weekend I will have to find time to go get it detailed because its also dirty inside and out. Apparently they think that quickly wiping it down with a cloth makes it clean, we have different ideas of what clean is. They sell cars when they need to be selling customer service. Im so disappointed right now because my second experience with them was Great and dealing with the service department has ALWAYS been perfect but this whole situation has been horrible. They made me wait 2 extra days for the car because it needed a rearview mirror, the mirror they put on here looks and feels like it came from the dollar store.Update: Have not had the car for 2 full weeks yet and already got a notice from DMV that the emissions is overdue on the car....Yall made me wait 3 extra days for the car and couldnt be bothered to clean, fuel or get it emissions tested?!? Not only will I stay away from Kia of East Hartford but I think I will stay away from any dealer in the same family...... I will go to Kia of Buffalo (if there is one in Buffalo) rather than repeat this again...

Terrible experience from start to finish! From a rookie salesman who knew nothing about Kias, to blatant gender bias in the service department! Brand new 2021 with less than 25 miles on the odometer and the check engine light appeared moments after driving off the lot. Repairs completed only after council was obtained to claim it as a lemon, and it took 72 unapologetic days. Be sure to take your buisness elsewhere!
I was somewhat disappointed with my experience for warranty covered work to replace a cracked tire rim. I brought the car in on a Wednesday and they verified the work that was needed, ordered the rim & told me it would take 2 days to come in. They called me Friday, said it was in, and they could complete the work while I waited. I was there for about 20 minutes or so when I was told they could not get to it. I went through the hassle of getting the loaner car - and the next day I had to call them at 9:30 am to get an update. The car was ready - and as it turns out, the work had been completed at 5 pm the evening before, according to the invoice!! No one called me to tell me the work was done & I had to make an extra trip. Not ideal.

I am still browsing for a car, but stopped here and was treated like gold. Cash the salesman spent quality time helping me look for a car. His no pressure, funny, kind and caring personality alone are rare qualities to find when it comes to car sales. I am just a solo gal who walked in and was treated with honesty and that alone is priceless when it comes to car sales. I had a really bad experience with this dealership.I was not treated properly as a customer by one of the sales rep Kevin, he was very rude all throughout our conversations.Ive been planning over a week sending emails and text messages to purchase a vehicle. They even sent me a purchase order on which I evengot loan approved from my bank. I called in just a day before our agreed purchase date to make sure the vehicle is still available and Ive been told the vehicle is not available anymore and someone had placed a deposit on it. I did agree to pay the deposit a few days ago and shared my card details but the amount was never deducted from my account. When I called and asked him about this, he responded very rudely that Ive asked too many questions the other day and that made him feel that I was not interested in purchasing the vehicle and proceeded to sell it to someone else. Im not sure about this dealership, but from my past experience as a customer I was never treated poorly for asking questions on the product I was interested in buying.I would have a given them a negative five star rating if I could. Google would not let me post my review, unless I give them at least a single star, which they are not worth it at all.

I told them my car needs power steering hose fluid change, but they insisted on doing a car inspection. They charged me $150 for the car inspection which I don’t need and didn’t even fix my problem. Would not recommend anyone to fix their car here, they just WANT your MONEY

I recently got an oil change and I guess they noticed my bumper hanging off as well and fixed it with no charge. Just great service all around. They always ask me why do I come all the way out to east Hartford even though I live in Massachusetts. They answered their own question.

Biggest waste of time and one very rude Frank in service told me he wont work with my insurance after initially accepting the insurance and holding onto the car for 6 days! 2 months prior, I test drove a kia and the salesperson acted like there was nothing wrong with the car (there were audible and physical problems found when test driving) and ignored my questions to have my mechanic look at the vehicle. Overall, the persons Ive talked with are gruff and inept. Beware, do not do business with this dealership!
Sold me a car that had been rear ended without disclosing. My mechanic said the service center should have been able to clearly see the cat was not saleable. Beware!
Kia was having a one day promotion to buy back preowned Kias. I went in with hopes to drive the Kia K5 home that day. They were extremely busy. My sales person Juwan was awesome. He didn’t make me feel rushed on my choice, even when there were ALOT of people waiting to be helped. He was awesome at multitasking, very professional and had a great personality. He made sure I would be paying within my budget and even helped me obtain insurance that didn’t cost hundreds of dollars. Although we weren’t able to thank him face to face, he reached out the next day to make sure I was happy. Thank you Juwan for all your help and services! I love my new car!
This is a nice place all other guys are great, but they has guy who work in auto parts is super rude and looks like no need that work, I come several times to order some AC parts and he ask they no have it, ok but I ask I need this part number or diagram to my best mechanic call to order and fix my car, and he said that part no have a diagram or part number.So sadness

I was sent a letter for an event they had last Saturday. I was promised $8,000 over Kelly blue book value no matter the condition of my vehicle. When I showed up there was quite a few people before me so they took my name and gave me the option to come back the following Monday. I came back and it was suddenly just the Kelly book value and I put too many miles on and he needed to see the condition of my car before he could give me the trade in value. The whole letter was just a gimmick to get me in. Just a big fat LIE. I will never buy a car from this dealership.
Every kia dealer is incapable of an oil change in under 3 hours. And they charged me $60 when I have the highest tier extended warranty 😤 after 30 mins on hold for kia customer service, I gave up. Ill to back to jiffy lube and save 2.75 hours of my life every 3 months.

I had the worst experience every at a dealership. Went for a test drive in a vehicle that felt like it was falling apart. While inspecting the car, I looked in the center console and found an empty beer can in there. The beer can was hidden underneath a brand new iphone box. When i returned to the dealership my salesman told me the store manager had been using the car as his personal vehicle……dont go here unless you want to deal with an alcoholic store manager. When I confronted the manager he tried telling me the beer can must have been in there for a long time….so thats great…lets have people test driving vehicles with opened alcoholic containers in them. The manager did not even try apologizing to me and told me I was wrong for being upset that they jeopardized my lively hood being having me illegally driving a car!!!! If you dont care about your life please buy cars from here!!!!
If youre planning to use your credit after purchasing a car here, I would reconsider because they ran my ladys credit 14 times during the process of purchase. They didnt inform this information to her. This doesnt include the horrible customer service they gave during the process of our car purchase.Were in the process of purchasing a home and this is when we found out how much it was pulled. If you decide to purchase a car here, just be careful and always ask questions.
Just went back there to buy a car. They didn’t want me to test drive a Sedona, but tried to push me off on a Sorento. When I told them that I would like to see a Sedona, they advised they didn’t have one in my price range. I advised I would still like to see one. Sales guy ran out unlocked the car. I looked at the car for maybe 5 mins before coming back in to find my sales guy with another client. Wish I had the owners phone number. Horrible service.
I ordered a customized 2021 Telluride with Kia of East Hartford. We had changed salespeople throughout the process because someone left but Juwan picked up and was great. The order was correct and I absolutely love my car. We did all the numbers ahead of time so when I went to pick up the car we just had to sign papers and go. Great experience and my husband and I will be back to buy out his lease next month.

Had a really good experience getting my car from Kia and Tom was a big help. I’ve been driving my née forte for about 3-4 weeks. I originally didn’t want to go to a dealer but I was sold with great customer service and a good deal on my forte. After the purchase Tom checked up on me.. not only that but he answered any questions I had and keeps on insisting that if I have any more questions to ask, I really appreciate that not many places have service like this.

Highly recommend! I recently had brake and battery issues that required my car to be towed to the dealership for repairs. Frank Mancini who works in service did an amazing job and is a big reason I’ll be going back. He explained what was likely the issue with the brakes, called when they figured out the issue to go over everything, and was very generous with the pricing of the repairs especially considering I didn’t originally have an appointment and the car was fixed very fast.
I was in the market for a vehicle for my business and I was fortunate enough to be able to work with Brianna. Her product knowledge as well as easy going but efficient style was very helpful in getting the process done in a timely fashion. She makes car buying fun! I would recommend anyone coming to this dealership to work with Brianna and I love my new car!
Terrible customer service. Was looking to purchase a vehicle outright for my sister. Not only would they not hold a vehicle with a deposit for her to arrange her schedule to test drive, they wouldnt sell us the car! Being out of state and purchasing a vehicle for her certainly seemed like a challenge but had no clue that Kia of East Hartford would be so unaccommodating. They refused to take a credit payment (in full for the vehicle) because of the fees and do not have the capability to wire money - what kind of dealership cant accept a wire transfer? We asked how they could help us and they stated we sell 150 cars a month-who cares?. Not only were they rude, they didnt even attempt to provide customer service. Their comment simply implied they didnt need the business. I asked to speak to the manager to see if I could work out any other options; however, it seemed they didnt want me to speak to their manager when Larry, the sales guy, said immediately that his manager replied no to the sale. Once I was able to get through to the manager (no thanks to Larry), he manager wanted to talk on speaker phone through a third party (my sister) and wouldnt have a discussion, they simply said there are no other options and repeated how many cars they sell. The manager and Larry asked my sister to leave the lot, I did get a bit irate on the phone when they refused to sell the vehicle or have a conversation. My sister went down the road and purchased a vehicle from CarMax same day. CarMax was kind and we were able to make the total sale same day from out of state about an hour after the interaction with Larry and his manager.Avoid Kia of East Hartford, go to CarMax if you want to be treated like a person.

I don’t recommend ever stepping foot in this dealership. I went in looking to test drive a car. They refused to let me test drive the car unless I promised to purchase the vehicle.....before driving it. They claimed they didn’t want to put miles on the car because of low inventory. I called back later to ask to speak with the manager, explained the situation and was hung up on. The customer service is non existent. They were extremely rude and unprofessional.

I bought a used car from Kia almost a month ago. I had issues with system malfunction, just after 3 weeks, it had to do with alternator overcharging and weak battery. I called and spoke to the Service Manager, Gary who is truly a professional. He set up an appointment within a few days. I had the car towed Friday morning, by Saturday afternoon @2 it was fixed He was communicating what was going on during the process of discovery, was incredibly supportive, understanding and very kind. He really gave me such a good experience in dealing with the used car industry. In my estimation he is overworked and underpaid! Every time we spoke he had a million things going on however he stopped and gave me the attention I needed to know my new(used) car would be running great shortly. For such a large investment it’s truly refreshing to know that customers are valued and appreciated for their business and that the service department where they purchase can get the job done quickly! He wanted to have it done and ready for me for my birthday yesterday! Talk about going above and beyond. I can’t say enough about Gary and what a true asset he is to Kia of East Hartford, who did a nice job on my car. Thanks again! I got my awesome car back! A great birthday present indeed 😊
Terrible experience, bad management. Said we could hold a car for a 200.00 fee for one day then refused to refund it when we found out car was an additional 1000.00 after added dealer fees. Tried to resolve with manager given we were told a different price on the phone. Manager was rude and unwilling to at least meet half way and refund 100.00. Sales room was all men no women at all very uncomfortable. If you are seeking an old school, all male, back and forth let me speak to the manager (in the back room of course) poor car buying experience that we all remember this is certainly the place to go. It was worth 200.00 to hopefully save any customer who is unaware of 699 document prep fee and 250 license and title fee and lack of trust in whatever they tell you over the phone. Shame on your Kia of East Hartford lying to customers!
We stopped by Kia East Hartford for my sister because she wanted to test drive the Kia Seltos and we ended up driving off with a brand new one! We were greeted and assisted by Tom. He was helpful and patient through the whole process, which didn’t take long at all! Also Danny, who works in the financing department, was very personable and knowledgeable! I called Kia of East Hartford right around closing time in a last stitch effort to see if they could work with me. I was in the hole with a car that just crapped out on me. Brianna answered the phone and Im so glad she did! She worked so quickly sending me things to fill out over the phone while I was on my way down there. I was definitely not in the best of moods when I got there being that I had been to 2 places before that couldnt work with me.
