Would give negative stars of i could! This east haven location is terrible, they know nothing and nor do they care about the hassle they put you through when they give you wrong and faulty parts!!!. I came in yesterday to buy a radiator for my car. My only transportation broke down. Had to find a ride to the store. Picked up a radiator. Spent 2 hours sweating installing it just to find out that it leaked as soon as I filled it! Now imagine not having transportation to get back to the store to return the junk part they sold me! THEN I find out that they gave me a radiator that was 118 when all other stores I called was 150. So now not only is my time and energy wasted and money spent on coolant as well but now I have to take the radiator back out and bring it back just to pay MORE for another. And this isnt the first time Ive had an issue with this location in east haven either. They dont care. They dont know anything about vehicles. They have no sympathy. And everything autozone sells is total JUNK FROM CHINA.

Accidentally purchased the incorrect item from the website. Upon return to the store within 24 hours... I was told that i had to get in touch with the customer service number to initiate return shipping.... However, it was shipped from this exact location with free home delivery! I was also told that I cannot return this item because it was an electronic (original package, unopened, unused). This car battery should have been refunded and given a proper replacement for the defective battery that i also brought with me.I spent over 35 minutes dealing with the manager (person who was not at the store) and his assistant on duty. When i finally called customer service while waiting at the counter, the rep on the phone called the store and spoke to the gentleman in front of me.... Then switch lines back to me and said she spoke with the manager. There were so many wrong doings regarding policy, unable to return an item that was NOT listed in the non-returnable category.On a separate note, for the defective battery replacement I was charged 21$. It is supposed to be a free replacement for the duration of the warranty if the battery fails the testing (this was another 30+ min wasted... It was visually defective).Please save your time and money. Buy your parts from somewhere else.Asked for the corporate address to write a formal letter regarding these issues and was told that letter would go right back to the representative on the phone. Im sure the major stakeholders and interested parties who have more than just a minor investment in this location and business would NOT appreciate experiencing this for themselves. This is not logical customer service. Again, I wasnt looking to pull the wool over their eyes, but be refunded for a product that was listed as returnable.Either update your fly by the seat of your pants return policy, or make up your minds and let everyone know that you choose to do what you desire in the store and overrule corporate customer service. Best or luck, you wont get another buck.

Rich T. The big guy he use to work in front but now does commercial I think...he is always helpful and has worked here forever. He always answers my questions... excellent customer service. Why I send everyone here for auto parts. He actually cares about your car and can answer mechanical questions no one else can. I have been a loyal customer for years.

Broke down on my way back to Massachusetts . Omar was Very knowledgeable and honest and insisted on helping me figure out what the issue was even tho I was on the on other side of the plaza. After examination he recommended a battery which he installed in under 15 minutes. Never had a problem with my truck since. Great staff hope to visit again soon

I went in today looking for some tire shine and all I walk into is two girls on their phones laughing and not paying attention. One girl looked up when I walked in but that’s it. No one tried helping me. And an older women donner was no help either. This is my go to Autozone but I don’t think I’ll be coming here anymore.

Is this place ever going to improve? ive been to so many autoozones this one is by far the worse ive been too. gave my grandmother the wrong parts! and the girl at the counter didnt know what a timing chain was! for gosh sakes. hire and promote worthy people not just anybody. advance auto it is from now on.

Most of the staff is very unhelpful. Came a few weekends ago. one of the managers Caroline, is very slow and lacks customer service skills. The only ones that seemed to be any help were the 2 young upbeat red shirts up front with her juggling multiple customers. Will be going too foxon blvd from now on

They seem to always have the parts I need in stock and theyre prices are fair. They usually have three price points for most parts as well. Helpful staff.

Rather long wait times just for a return. But when Oymar the younger gentlemanstepped in he got the line moving quicker, he was also a great help on getting me everything i needed for a tuneup on my jeep along with some blades. I’ll be coming back to see him when I need something again . Thanks Autozone !

Just opened up a new shopIn the area so this is the closest Autozone to me, and this is by far Worst Autozone in the area. Largely inconvenient. Theyre always out of brake degreaser, and even wen they do have some. It’s about 30 minutes wait time to get cashed out by an elder woman who is rude for no reason. I also never seemto be able to get the help I need at the parts desk. Only time I did was wen I spotted 2 young men in the working the back who were able to help me out, and knew what they were actually talking about.

I would not recommend this particular auto zone to anyone. Poor service and definitely under staffed. I stood at the cash register for about 10 minutes and finally left with out the parts I needed, thumbs down

Hazard! Oil spill in oil rack, has been there for more then 2 weeks is always there wen I com back. Table Carts everywhere, impossible to get through the isle without banging my foot on a car! Need new management
