I have gone here quite a bit and feel like I’ve had both positive and not so positive experiences, so I’m giving 3 stars.Location: The store is very clean and has a nice atmosphere.Prices/Serving Size: The ice cream only prices are really good, but what you get for the price varies on who serves you. The single scoop is sometimes tiny and other times it’s as expected. Not consistent though.Customer Service: A few months ago we went and my daughter had hair in her ice cream. My husband took her back to exchange because EWWW and the workers looked very confused about what to do.Recently I ordered Gold Medal Ribbon, which is typically my go to, but on this occasion it honestly tasted like one glob of caramel. I mean I like caramel, but I can’t eat a cup full of it with a few bites of ice cream here and there. I went to trade it out since it didn’t taste like it normally does and the girls working all just stood there like they didn’t know what to do. I finally asked to swap it out and she still looked lost. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry before for many years, please teach your employees how to comp something out when the customer is not satisfied or there is an issue, it’s just ice cream. I would’ve taken a refund too, point was that I was not satisfied with my purchase and if that’s the case your employees should be trained with how to handle that situation without playing the “I’m confused and helpless” Card.Ice Cream Cakes: The ice cream cakes are good, we’ve gotten them for quite a few birthdays last minute and they’ve all been good!Sundaes: The brownie sundae is good, but pricey!Shakes: The strawberry shake was not good at all when I ordered. It wasn’t creamy and I actually prefer a shake from just about anywhere, but the one I ordered from here was just not good.

The ice cream is good, but over-priced ($5 for a double scoop) and how much you get depends on whos working. The staff is always friendly, but the drive-thru inexplicably takes forever. Every single time. Tonight, we waited 40+ minutes at 9:15 pm on a Sunday. There were about 7 cars ahead of us. This location has been this slow since the day they opened. I dont know if they are chronically understaffed or what the deal is, but dont go here if you have to be somewhere soon.

About what youd expect. Oddly, the employees werent masked up, but since Ive already had Covid and am fully vaxxed, I wasnt too worried about it. If unmasked people serving ice cream during a pandemic bothers you, then maybe give this one a pass.

Ice cream was amazing hot fudge brownie sundae, wife had a hot fudge sundae with caramel and daughter had 2 scoops of the nutty coconut, not sure if we will be back the drive thru is super slow. Only 3 cars ahead of us and we were in line over 25 minutes. Once your in line you cant get out you have curbs on all sides of you ugh. If you have time stop by the ice cream was worth it and the girl serving it was really friendly.

They have always been awesome, but this year for our twins they did an extra special job! On her own she did their 2 different themes and made them match very tastefully! Thank you! It was a special part of their 16th birthday!

Great stuff but it was really busy and, it appeared, that there was only one woman working. The result was a vary long wait. Several people gave up and left.

Always delicious and really a great value when compared to other ice cream stops. 4 of us got single cones for $13.00.

I like Baskin Robbins, but this location has issues. On Two different occasions (today and previously) this summer I visited and received poor quality ice cream. It was extremely soft and mushy, close to melting in texture. Baskin Robbins ice cream is too expensive to be sub par, ever. They know when its like that they need to discount it. Otherwise, thats not cool to sell a low quality item at full price. I dont know if its an issue with their freezers or what, but Im done with this location. Id advise anyone reading these reviews to ask if the ice cream is soft, before even ordering. Never had a problem with their Okemos store...

Fast drive thru and delicious ice cream!

Had great customer service. The employee was courteous, efficient and fast. He was very knowledgeable about its products.The store itself could use a little cleanliness and organization. Doesnt have a smooth visual transition.The outdoor patio concept is great, but the furniture is too big for the small square footage. Reduce furniture size and add smaller ones. It would increase foot traffic and give the appearance of a busy store.

They have two dairy-free gluten-free options and one dairy-free option with gluten in it which is three more varieties than most ice cream places have! While I hope they will expand their selection dairy-free gluten-free flavors, its really nice to be able to go to an ice cream shop again for some chocolate ice cream

Love this location I have been in person and ordered via Doordash.All experiences were great. Staff super friendly and offer suggestions.Ive only had two incidents with an incorrect order. One was wrong item and another was a lack of items.I gave them 5 stars because of the excellent service.

The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was very attractive and homey. We were wowed by the assortment of ice-cream treats offered—from ice-cream pie slices and parfaits to dark chocolate covered frozen bananas—everything in the case looked delicious. We ordered our favorite BR treat—the cappuccino blast—no one makes as good a one as Baskin Robbins. Our next trip to Lansing will definitely include a stop to this fine ice-cream shop!

35 mins wait on the drive thru, we would’ve bailed out, but once you have a car behind you, you’re stuck. We only had 5 cars ahead of us (that must have ordered a ton of items). The place only had two OVERWORKED people in staff.

The ice cream was great once we got it outside, but the woman working was incredibly rude. She seemed annoyed we were there and snapped loudly at my son for sitting on a stool, saying it was clearly put away when it was sitting at the counter where it always is. If you don’t want people on your stools, actually put them away or put up a sign. In addition, as a rule of thumb it’s a good idea not to treat your guests like they came into your living room at dinner time uninvited.

Busy place tonight but worth the wait. Had a yummy waffle cone with 2 scoops of cherries jubilee.

Very great service. Every time Ive been there, Ive been welcomed with a great environment and excellent customer service. Came in last minute for a specific birthday cake and not only was it done, but they offered to decorate a plain cake to match the theme. Definitely deservant of 5 stars.

This was my second time at this location and my experience was phenomenal both visits! Staff is friendly and fast, the store has pleasant and fun decor, and the ice cream is delicious as always.I recommend the Cherries Jubilee or the Scoops Ahoy U.S.S. Butterscotch while they have it!

Delicious ice cream and friendly staff. Baskin Robbins has always been a great place to go for a cold treat on a hot day, and Im so happy to have one in Lansing. The store has a cheerful atmosphere and a fun attitude.

I ordered a single scoop of non-dairy chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream today. When I started to eat it, I realized it wasnt what I ordered and it was a dairy flavor. I dont have a dairy allergy but what if someone ordered a non-dairy ice cream? What if they got something instead that would put them in an uncomfortable or potentially deadly circumstance? Please be more mindful when youre serving customers. You dont know the reason why they ordered a specific item.

Only been there a time or two. But staff are courteous and take care of our needs. The place appears to be clean and new of course. And well be visiting again from time to time. As we are people that like ice cream. And I have to say that Baskin Robbins although its good its kinda pricey as ice cream goes.

I will start by saying that the ice cream is amazing. However on my visit tonight I went through the drive thru. There were 3 cars ahead of me. And it took me 45 minutes to order and receive my ice cream. I saw people park and go inside, and come back out after finishing whatever they had ordered before I was able to place my order. Would love to go back for the ice cream but can not see myself ever trying the drive thru again.
